Holly Nearly Swears After April Fools Prank | This Morning

throughout the show our this morning glam squad have been hard at work transforming one deserving viewer 46 year-old shop assistant Carol Elliott says she's never really gets any time for herself and always struggles to find outfits to suit her so Lisa Snowden Nicky Clarke and Armand Beasley have been working their magic and it's almost time to see the results they're here now alongside Carol's husband Pete good morning to you so words on you because this was your nomination that kind of got the ball rolling there's two big things here up there there's the 25th wedding anniversary yeah congratulations but there's also this school reunion yeah on Friday she's got her first school year reunion that she's ever been to so oh she's been losing sleep about what to wear yeah she's been nervous yeah what sort of what sort of clothes does she normally like to wear normally she sort of jeans t-shirt kind of a person yeah yeah bit like me really so what have you would have you done guys oh well it's a big transformation today it really pushed her out of her comfort zone quite dramatically but it is such a big event like you said it's the reunion we wanted to feel really special she's had a proper pampering a little bit of foils in the hair like I said earlier but yeah we just we just want you all to be really excited and surprised and she's had and she hasn't seen what surfing what she looks like so this is gonna be the first time coming out on TV what did you do well the thing is it needs to be very different from what it was because it was quite grey it was quite flat and as you say I mean she was jeans and t-shirt sort of girls so we needed to get out of that and make it just much more glam made up blonder made it just look a bit more special and hopefully a school reunion friends well Carol doesn't really wear much makeup and she's got the most beautiful eye so I really wait to bring out the eye so for me it was all about the eyes and a little bit of contouring as well all right well it is time to bring Carol out and see the results here's what she looked like when she arrived this morning and here is Carol now oh wow [Music] so I'm gonna talk you through the dress hostels are everywhere caramel pink is your favorite color you said that when I was trying on different races with you and I know that you're really excited about having something pink for the reunion so the dresses from misguided is 15 pounds just proven you don't need to freak the bank for a proper occasion where statement earrings from Zara boots are from boohoo calm you know how I love a white boots winning situation and then the bag is from accessorize all the prices are up on the website so Nikki well she loves the old Hollywood movies I said let's just do a little bit of this and just really kind of go out there and just make it look very very special and I want well nails and their nails are quite short so I've just put some stick on nails on there with a little bit of sparkle on the little pinkies and then all about lashes as well so full false lashes and a little bit of contouring obviously you know you don't know the full look because you can see the nails you need to see the colors and things like the boot so what do you think so far I'm very excited because this is the first time I think I've ever had such a special occasion to get dressed up for so thank you well your well are you ready to have a look at what you look like well if you set forward and have a look in the mirror there you go and what do you think yeah it's a it's a it's a good nice color what do you think [Music] can we stop filming if it's the dress we've got so many different options that we get your shoes that is it just a shock it's just not quite what I was expecting not what you're expecting why do why don't you go and have a look through it some other objects cuz we've got a whole wardrobe yeah and I think sometimes I think when you have a big makeover like this people push you out of your comfort zone or sometimes it all happens a bit quickly and it's all a bit yeah what do you what do you think I think it looks good there you go oh listen oh listen abscess police oh please don't worry what we'll do is we'll take you downstairs and you can be in charge and you could go through the rails and you can have a look and find something that you like and if it's the makeup or the hair or anything then we can we can change it you've got a lunch now set up for you okay like it's a pop ups a splash up lunch got another surprise for Carol because we've arranged for her and Pete to go for a posh lunch and a day out in London Tim have you got the flowers what about to make you feel slightly better you look really beautiful that's it thank you good I know what it's like when you don't feel quite right you wouldn't nominate and what we'll do is we'll take you back down we'll take you downstairs and then you can you can go and have a look at we've got a new home for you now okay so see how you feel jump in the cart see how you feel all right all right Tim I'll take Tim all looks simple take you out sometimes it just works out like that if you don't quite feel that comfortable oh yeah - it's such a huge house she's just a question yeah yeah all right then obviously um if you know someone but you think he's deserving of one of our glamorous makeovers then as
