[Music] [Music] hey everyone it's jenna welcome or welcome back to my channel in today's video we're gonna be heading out to hobby lobby and i'm gonna kind of take you guys through with me through the store just because there are so many gorgeous spring finds right now and a lot of them parallel really high-end designer pieces and you can get them for amazing prices so i'm going to kind of take you guys through with me show you what i look for there and some of the really great deals there right now and then we're going to come back home i'm going to show you everything that i bought for myself and how i style it in my space so should be a really fun time and without further ado let's go to hobby lobby okay so here we are and i always like to start off by saying that i'm going to state the sticker price of the items but just know everything in this store usually goes on sale for 50 off at some point so really if you time it right you can usually get half off of the sticker price i know a lot of you hobby lobby people already know that but i just wanted to touch on it because otherwise prices can get kind of confusing if you don't know so the first place i always check out is the floral section and i immediately saw these gorgeous pale pink peonies and was so impressed by how real they looked these would be so pretty to add to an existing vase that you may already have with some greenery in it just to add some color for spring or you know if you don't love a ton of color they also have a lot of pretty neutral flowers that would just add that extra spring touch for the season i say this all the time on my channel but i'm always really drawn to wildflower like stems because of their versatility so they can look really pretty on their own but they're also really easy to weave into pre-existing greenery that you might already have laying around your house so you only need a couple of stems to really create that little pop of color and add an extra layer of dimension to decor that you already have i actually use these really pretty mauve color flowers in my recent diy spring arrangement and i love these and that they have a casual whimsical air about them you could use them in an arrangement or they would look really good just in a vase by themselves so after checking out the floral stems i always love to see what greenery hobby lobby has and i spotted these really pretty magnolia stems that looked so real and i recently saw that amber interiors used some really tall magnolia stems in a project she did and i love this statement that she made with them so you could totally recreate that with these stems and because they are so large you would really only need two or three to achieve the same look another piece of greenery that i spotted that would be really pretty for spring is this gorgeous mossy garland you could put this in a dough bowl or you could just run it down the table with some candles surrounding it for a simple centerpiece or just add some florals to it for a fun spring accent there's definitely no shortage of greenery here and one of my favorites are these pretty olive stems and we actually have these in our living room and i love the statement that they make and speaking of olive stems i also spotted this really pretty medium-sized olive tree and i felt like it looked super realistic i love the trunk of it and we actually have a really similar one that i found at ikea and it's great for accenting a fireplace or maybe a bench in an entryway or hallway and i had not seen this at hobby lobby before so definitely a new item that i was really excited about i also love checking out the vases and planter aisle one of my favorite planters that they sell are these really pretty basket planters and the subtle pattern and detail that they have is so pretty and i love that they look like a soft woven material but they're actually really hard and ceramic-like and i like this because they're really durable and they help give that soft woven look to your decor at the same time so they have a large variety of shapes and sizes and colors here so if you are in need of any planters or vases i would maybe stop by hobby lobby i also spotted this wooden stool that several of you have told me about and it's honestly such a great find and so pretty in person and it's really similar to the true vintage stools that are so popular on designer websites right now and they go for around a hundred dollars while this one is only 25 dollars before the discount they look really similar to each other so definitely a great find if you're looking for a vintage looking stool but you don't want to fork out a hundred dollars another thing that i decided to pick up was a candle and the gorgeous patterned glass on these really resemble expensive designer candles that are upwards of thirty dollars each and before discount these guys are only 20 so i bought mine for 10 and they have a bunch of different scents and colors to choose from another thing i love to look for here are baskets and woven decor you can never have too many organizational baskets in my opinion especially with spring cleaning and it never hurts to get organized and have more intentional places to hide and sort clutter but in addition to organization baskets are really great for just decor purposes as well so i also spotted this really pretty hanging woven basket with a gray washed color to it that really helps it to appear like it's a true vintage piece which i love the look of this reminds me a lot of the seaside hanging basket at ballard designs and it would look so pretty hung on the inside or outside of a door with some faux florals in it okay so moving on to one of my favorite sections these are the little wall and table decor displays that are always organized by color and one of the first things i spotted here that i hadn't seen in my last trip were these glass beads and lots of designer websites sell these for anywhere from forty to a hundred dollars and here they're only eighteen dollars before the discount but if you wanted to give them a true vintage look you could always try doing a little white wash on them with some water white acrylic paint in a sponge they also have lots of color options available too so definitely a fun little decor piece that you could drape over a tray in a bowl or just over a stack of books for some added visual interest so something that is super big right now is small vintage inspired art pieces and i see designers using these in their spaces left and right and whether you use it as an accent piece on a mantel adding a pop of color above a nightstand just dressing up a bare space on a wall or using a small accent piece above a headboard there are so many options here in lots of different styles and colors something else that i love to look for in these sections are ceramic decor pieces and i feel like they sell items that really look as if they were handmade and for those of us who want some more affordable options when it comes to vases trays and bowls this section is really great for that i love the organic curves of these pitchers and canisters it really gives this decor so much character in detail and i think they're so charming i also love the look of these green vases they're a really good size and they kind of remind me of the white terracotta vases at pottery barn and if you spray painted them white and did my aged vessel technique that i've shown in a previous video you could honestly have a really similar looking vase for a quarter of the price and i also really love these cute mustard colored vases you guys know i love anything with a wing or a handle detail i think that automatically adds so much character and is something that really helps the vase to look truly vintage i was also obsessed with these cute green vases they have a really similar overall shape to the minka potts from anthropology again if you gave these guys a coat of white spray paint you could have a very similar looking piece but i honestly love the green and then the kind of terracotta looking detail i think that had so much character i tested it out with a little bit of greenery in it to see what it would look like and this would just be so pretty styled on a nightstand or a shelf another piece that caught my eye was this really pretty tray and for some reason it reminded me of a lionfish don't know why but i just think it's really fun when you can find decor pieces here that have something special and unique about them and it's so funny because we're at a craft store but they really do have a lot of pieces with character that can really help elevate your space so next i moved on to the spring seasonal decor section and this stuff is only out for the season of spring and right now it's only 40 off it usually does go up to 50 a little later on in the season but i'm impatient so i figured 40 was good enough they have a bunch of really cute tableware for entertaining this spring and i've loved these rattan placemats serena and lily sells a similar one that goes for 28 per place mat and i think that these look really similar and they add such a fun detail and texture to a spring or summer tablescape for a really reasonable price and speaking of tablescapes if you need napkin rings definitely come to hobby lobby they have some really fun faux floral ones that would add a really pretty touch to a table setting i also really liked these simple rattan square ones i thought that they were you know really summery and classy and then they also have these really pretty distressed wood ones that are very versatile and can be used year-round with different decor styles i also stopped by the outdoor section they had a really pretty selection of outdoor pillows that were right around the 30 price range before discount and i was so tempted by these striped ones but they also had a really great selection of wind chimes so you can add some peaceful sounds to your patio and they have a ton of different sizes and styles to choose from i also spotted a lot of really pretty outdoor poofs if you need some extra seating for your patio they did have some really pretty designs that i loved and i wish i had room for these on my patio but i don't and honestly a lot of the spring decor that i filmed here i ended up buying so i think it's a good time to probably head home and show you guys all the fun things that i found alright so we are back home and it's time to show you guys all of my fun finds and kind of how i style them in my space so the first thing that i found were these really pretty artist sponges now these were found in the craft section and i've been looking for these for such a long time because on designer websites these are like 20 25 and i see a lot of designers use them in bathroom styling just because they are a natural sponge they really emit that spa-like feel they make things feel kind of coastal and light and just really organic and i love that i found this guy for four bucks so it's over by the paints and all that it's not in home decor and i figured what i could do is put them in a really pretty glass jar in our guest bathroom so yeah this guy was 10.99 before the 50 percent off and i thought it was really pretty just really simple i love just clean glass faces i think they're a classic look they will never go out of style so i'm just gonna put two of these guys in here place it in that little group of three in our guest bath just on the countertop just to make it feel really spa-like and styled and relaxing so yeah really fun find there i was so happy to see these in the paint section okay so the next thing i found was this really pretty almost like weed like looking spray and this guy was thirty dollars so i got it for fifty percent off and it was fifteen and i feel like that's a really good deal because this you know can take up an entire vase so instead of buying multiple stems all you need to buy is this guy and i really loved the tone of green that it was and you know kind of how it looked like i just went outside and cut it out from you know a wildflower field or something i just think this is so pretty you could totally put little flowers in here too for spring i think that'd be really pretty but what i figured it would be good for is just putting it in a medium sized vase and putting it on a stack of books i think that would just be a really gorgeous styling moment and this would really look good in any sort of vase a light one a dark one whatever as long as it's medium size and not too big it might look a little small but you could totally get two of these and put them in a larger base just to really get some more spread and the branches are very moldable so if you want them to kind of stick up more you totally can do that as well so i really love this so much that i actually bought a smaller one as well so this guy i saw this guy was 9.99 so five dollars when i saw this guy i couldn't pass it up it was 11.99 so 6 bucks at 50 off and i figured this would look really pretty just placed in here like this because you know i have a lot of larger vases and statement faces but i really love things this size because they're great for just popping on a nightstand using a shelf styling decor accenting something like a larger piece of decor like a lamp you could put it on a countertop in the kitchen just something to kind of really soften a space if you don't have a lot of room or something like that so i thought this was so pretty i love the neutral ceramic look of the vase and i think that i'm going to use this in our upstairs room once i finish the shelving unit up there it'll be really great to just kind of put on a stack of books but i'll insert footage of me putting it in our bedroom shelves right now just so you guys can kind of get an idea but i think it's a really fun neutral simple decor accent piece that can go with a lot of different items and you can easily move it all around your home okay so while we're on the floral thing i thought i had bought all the florals for this season but i saw these and i could not pass them up i believe i showed them in the shop with me portion but they are these gorgeous peonies like i'm sorry these look so realistic look at that gorgeous coloring on there and these are worth 6.99 before the 50 off so it's a really good deal and this is what one stem looks like so it has the big flower and then two little buds so what i'm gonna do with these is i have a little arrangement over on our console table that i've had there for a while since fall i believe and i think it's just time to swap out my burgundy stems for something a little bit more spring-like so i figured that i could use a couple of these and pop them in there and just really give it that fresh bright spring look by adding some fun florals okay so this next item i actually saw last year and they were sold out like they had one left and you need them in a set so i was all bummed and this year it was a big motivation for me to get to hobby lobby this spring early was to get these so it is this gorgeous set of cups and these guys were 9.99 each so spring right now is 40 off so they were six dollars a cup but what i love about them first of all is that they come out of this so you could just go ahead and put this in the dishwasher don't have to worry about getting this you know all gross or whatever the only thing i'm wondering about is condensation if that will bother this or not but i'll keep you guys updated in the comment section but yeah i really love these and they are being sold on all the designer websites i'm talking serena and lily pottery barn burke decor everybody sells these if you're having people over for cocktails or lemonade or whatever how pretty would it be to just serve them in these cups i love the pretty rattan detail and how it's removable and on those designer websites they're selling them for roughly fifteen dollars a cup so to get them for six bucks is really good i got six of them just in case you know i have multiple people over or whatever i have a full set and then i'm just gonna store them in our little cocktail cabinet where we have all of our cocktail glasses and stuff for entertaining so i think it'll look really pretty in there also when i open that up i just love to see a neat cupboard of cups and if you have open shelving these would be so pretty to put out on them as well so yeah a really fun find and these would just look so cute with a little light lemon rosemary cocktail or just a regular lemonade or arnold palmer or whatever so definitely a really fun pretty aesthetic designer looking cup for a great price and while on the topic of kitchenware i found these really pretty ceramic little souffle cups i think that they are ceramic bowls is what they're technically called but they were 3.99 before the 40 off and i love the handmade ceramic glazed look of them and how it's kind of patchy with that gray and brown glaze each one is a little bit different i don't know if you guys can see like the coloring on them varies a little bit i tried to pick ones that were sort of similar but a little bit different i'm not going to really style these they're just going to go in my cabinet but what i do use them for is like dipping sauces or if i'm having people over and i put like a charcuterie board out i'll put like a thing of crackers in each one of these or a little dip in one of them they're great for little personal desserts like if you have little servings of apple crisps or whatever for summer things like that and then i also put my dipping oils for bread in here when i have people over as well or sometimes just by myself if i want to dip some bread and some oil you know is that normal do people just do that i don't know i do it so yeah i thought that these were really pretty and they would just be a really nice aesthetic practical dish to have to my little server wear collection okay so this was one of those things that i passed by like three times i was like that is so cute but i don't need that so cute don't need you you're cute though and then like the third time i passed by it i was like yeah i'm just gonna get that because i think i actually need that so it's this really pretty little wall accent mirror thing it has some pegs on it and i just love the shape of it and the little rattan detail and this is just going to be really perfect to kind of dress up those super small walls that are really awkward i feel like this would be really pretty hung with like a little basket maybe on it or just some kind of decorative decor that you can hang really can just transform a blank wall that needs a little bit of something extra so this guy was 40 bucks 20 after the 50 off and i just thought it was really really pretty okay and the last thing i got was this really pretty framed piece of artwork this guy was 23.99 before the 50 off so 12 bucks i thought that was a really good price i love the tone of the wood and you know it's really becoming popular to see pieces of artwork that have really large matte space and a really small picture so i've seen a lot of designer websites do this i love the really soft pasteli look of the field and how it almost just reminds me of flagstaff arizona and i miss arizona so much so it kind of reminds me of all my happy memories out there and i think i'm just gonna use it for some shelf styling decor i think again i'm gonna use it in our new shelves that we're putting upstairs but they're not finished yet so i'll show you guys styling it in our bedroom on those shelves just because i think it is such a gorgeous piece and can really elevate the look of a mantle maybe a backsplash or like i'm using shelves this guy would also look good on one of those awkward little small walls and then you could just put some hanging pegs below it and hang some pretty decorative items on it as well so definitely lots of uses for this guy and i know a lot of you guys have been asking about that upstairs reveal and i know i've been teasing it for a really long time but as you guys know who have decorated your own spaces it really takes time to curate the perfect pieces and i don't want to just buy things to get a video out so for me personally i like to save money and i like to buy things that i really love so in doing that it takes a little bit of time so i'm still putting the finishing touches on it and making sure it's really something that i'm proud to share with you guys so i really appreciate your patience on that but we are kind of nearing the end um there's still a lot of things that i need to do and we've had some setbacks so i am excited to share it with you guys it shouldn't be too much longer but just know it's because i'm really taking my time and i'm trying to make it a space that we really love so all right you guys so that about wraps up this video i hope that you enjoyed seeing all of the fun finds at hobby lobby this spring and let me know have you guys been to hobby lobby yet have you found anything good maybe something that i didn't put in this video i'd love to know because we all know i don't need another trip to hobby lobby but i'm definitely willing to make one you know what i mean anyway i want to thank you guys so so much for watching and i will see you all in my next video bye
