Hidden Inventory Hotbar GUIDE Ark Survival Ascended

have up to 36 Pages hi guys my name is Tina and I want to talk about the new inventory hot bar that they added to Arc survival ascended in addition to the regular hot bar all right first things first you can change the size of your hot bar in the settings under UI and you can see it at size one on my screen but I usually set it 2.2 per default we are using our main hot bar this one shows all of the items we choose to place in specific slots when we along press Q The View switches over to the inventory hot bar you can only switch between the hot bar types when you are out of any menus for example while you're in your inventory you can switch back things that can be in either hot bar tools structures or food items that we can right click on use equip or place this one shows all of your inventory creating multiple toolbars and you can switch between all of these toolbars with nine and zero back and forth the order is decided by the Sorting of our inventory this is up here where you can set to sort it for type weight expiry and so on neither creating folders in your inventory nor the filter option at the bottom of the inventory seem to have an effect on the Sorting of it when you split items that qualify these will also show separately in the hot bar when you use the auto stack button however these items that are currently in the hot bar are ignored depending on how many items are in your inventory the inventory hot bar can have up to 36 rages in our regular inventory we can drag and drop items into their spot or back into our inventory or another inventory or we use control and the number to place items where we want them to be this is not possible in the inventory toolbar in a regular toolbar when items are used up and way we die or lose our items uh they leave a faded version of themselves in their place if it's a missing tool or structure we can recraft it by using the according hotkey if it's a broken tool we can repair it by using the according hotkey as long as we have the the resources in our pockets and of course as long as it's something that can be crafted in our inventory when we pick up our death bag or we pull another item in its place into the inventory they automatically find their way into the hot bar again while repairing works the same way in the new inventory tool bar when it comes to structures or anything used up it just disappears just like it would in your inventory because it's the extension of your inventory if you are looking for one specific item can I just not see the item anywhere in my inventory or did I actually use it already now while you're hovering over the specific items with your mouse or with your cursor you can press o to drop an item T to transfer to a different inventory at e to consume if it's food equip if it's a tool and place if it's a structure if you have the resources to craft the item in your toolbar you can also left alt and then click the button a couple of times and and craft it as many times as you want and you have resources for and yes this works for both tool Bars by the way if you uh leave the game with the inventory toolbar on active and you rejoin the game the contents of the inventory toolbar will have replaced your regular toolbar so be careful if you don't want that to be mixed up it will uh be a pain to replace all of the items again with your regular toolbar items by the way I noticed that when you do have a faded version of an item in your regular toolbar you switch between inventories and go to the inventory toolbar and switch back the item The Faded item will disappear from your regular hot bar there's an option to unassign this if you don't want to use this at all you can go into your settings under keyboard on the left side if you scroll down you'll see toggle fists fast inventory if you want to change one you unfortunately have to change both because they're set on the same button click into to the que you press the button e which un assigns the button above but we're going to go back into use and press e there and voila then you simply save and you're good to go so all in all this is making the inventory toolbar look pretty bad but here is how I choose to use it and this actually makes it pretty viable when building I first used to go into my inventory and then press e while hovering over the item to place the structure and so if you're as lazy as me after while you don't want to open the inventory every time to place the item you just start dragging and dropping all of those building structures into your hun bar this way you end up not having all of the building pieces that you want to use in your hot bar but you also do not have all of the tools that you would need in case you have to defend yourself or you want to go out and grab more material because you will inevitably run out of materials and uh the whole dilemma of the toolbars starts happening so this is where the the new inventory bar comes in by using the Sorting function and having mainly items in your inventory that you actually do want to use for building anyway you can easily switch between the hot bars and live your best ARC building life because long pressing Q at that point becomes second nature and it prevents constantly dragging and dropping any of the items so you can build something switch back to your tool then continue building and you can find your items very quickly I don't think that the inventory bar was created to be an alternative to the regular hot bar and is not meant to just replace it let me know what you guys
