greetings captains I am Wizard and welcome to another Starfield ship build guide this is the helon and it is a Class B fighter that uses Class A engines for the obvious speed Advantage it's not quite as fast as the Scythe but it does have a little over double the cargo capacity so you're not limited to strictly fighting in the ship and it also allows you to store some things on on it whether you are fighting in space or doing some FPS uh activities I would say that this ship has everything you need but no more and no less it's got a bed to sleep in it has room for crew and it has a workshop on board which means you can complete all of your research projects and sleep for XP anything you need to do right from the ship uh coupled with the cargo capacity that we are able to achieve on this one uh this ship is actually very useful for many different game Loops let's get into it if you have just found my channel uh at this point in the game I have built seven ships in total uh so I am playlist I've got fighters destroyers even a heavy cargo hauler and I have completed redesigns of all of the major uh free ships in the game with the one exception being the UC prison shuttle I also have guides for um Outpost building as well as the start of an FPS combat series uh so please check out some of my other content thank you to build the helon exactly as I do in this guide you will need to be at level 60 and the ship costs just a little over 500,000 credits to complete you need piloting rank three due to the b-class reactor and Starship design rank four uh for certain of the components used Elsewhere on the ship you also need to complete the mission grunt work for the UC Vanguard that rewards you with access to all of the UC Vanguard specific ship modules in the game for this build we're only using the Vanguard obliterator Auto projectors uh that are rewarded from that mission but there are of course other modules that are worthwhile to use to start building the helon you need to go to new Homestead on Titan first we are grabbing a couple of cargo holds here and uh after I balanced this build I found that these were the best choice um we're also going to have shielded cargo of course but uh the the cargo that we get here is not available our Outpost landing pads let's go to your cargo Tab and find the 30t huler cargo and we need two of these uh of course you may be starting with a different ship uh but as long as you just grab the modules that I am here you'll be just fine as usual we need to make a quick stop to see our buddy lawn at the Red Mile and pick ourselves up a scan Jammer yeah get into the Builder and in this case I had to make an attachment point for this so I just used an equipment plate and put it right on top of these fuel tanks attach your scan jamer and you're [Music] done our last stop before we head to an outpost Landing Pad is going to be the stoud Ean St yard and here we are going to get our engines our exterminator particle beams and our reactor so clear whatever space you need and the first thing I just went ahead and uh put on these Landers this helps with the space that I needed to attach the modules that I I'm getting here now get into your menu and find your engines tab so we can get those attached scroll down to the sa 4330 is and if these look familiar they are from the Star Eagle same engines and these are one of the things that make that ship so good at an early level but we are going to use six of these as you could see from the introduction photos so wherever however you can go ahead and get those attached now there's a kind of a trick to placing these uh as well as the stoud Caps the first one if you place it and then when you duplicate it and hit the flip uh it will move to the next orientation so you can just kind of place all of them in a sequence uh instead of it feeling so cumbersome and random when you're flipping the orientations I use the same trick uh on the nose caps when we get to The Landing Pad so now find your weapons Tab and get three exterminator Auto helion beams and attach those wherever you can now I'm just going to go ahead and grab the shield that we're going to use which for this one is the 28t defense ER Shield I just I really like the balance of recharge rate and capacity on that Shield it's one of my favorites in the game now because we have class B weapons and shield we need to replace our reactor so grab a 104 DS same reactor we used in the sidethe and put that on there and to help me out with a jump range while while I'm building the ship I went ahead and attached the h30 atlas fuel tank as well those are available at your Landing Pad so this isn't a necessary step at this point later havea now moving on to our Outpost Landing Pad let's go ahead and build this ship from the ground up so delete whatever you've got and let's get started with our Landing Bay now for this one I use the Teo ship bed 200 because we are going to use a Hab directly in front of this the hab layout for this ship is fairly similar to the Scythe uh because they're both small ships but for this one I have space for three Habs and so we have Nova Galactic all-in-one birth B to start with and then using the attachment method on the front point I used a Nova Galactic control station above it so if you want your ladder to be in that position in the front of the Habs uh which I like definitely use the attachment method and uh same thing here for the damos workshop use the attachment method on the uh front hatch front side hatch of the control station now I'm going to put the landing gear on the ship and we need two strout x ACU Landers uh on each side of the lower deck of the ship now we can get our cockpit attached and for this one I went for the Armstrong 10r and I haven't used this in any of my builds yet but I really like the kind of fighter ship aesthetic on the interior of the Armstrong cockpits so now we can go ahead and get our grav Drive and a reactor attached and uh go ahead and put on the Aurora that has 33 grab jump thrust because I do switch that in the end so you can save yourself time there um with the 30 uh grab jump thrust it only has 29 Lighty years of range in the end so just go ahead and put on the 33 thrust now we can get our cargo holds our main cargo holds attached and I put those on the top and those locations there and now we've got plenty of attachments for our engines but first before we forget let's get our scan Jammer attached needs an equipment plate and I put it right on top of the landing Bay now our Docker of course the 100 DP slim Docker from damos on the underside of the ship now we can attach our engines and here's what I was talking about with the flip uh order here if you duplicate it and flip it'll just go right to the next orientation so no jumping around duplicate flip duplicate flip done most of our main components on here let's go ahead and get our shape somewhat laid out first we need to damos cing behind the um little bit of extra height of the cockpit there to kind of streamline the shape and then a damos hole a right behind it and then we want to get a damos tail and attach it to the deos whole a it's a nice um little detail for the silhouette of the ship gives it that kind of airplane tail sort of aesthetic I really like that module so now we need a couple stoud cowlings I like the version with the stripe cuz it kind of helps to um unify the shape between the cing and the cargo now our Stroud caps same thing as the engines duplicate and flip and it goes right to the next one 1 two 3 4 just like that and we're starting to see the shape come together here major things left are the wings so let's do those of course we're going to use a Nova cing on each side here and the Nova braking engine just in front of each of those one and two now I like having a window back here nothing stopping it from being there go ahead and get a port hole on the back of your upper middle Hab control station and we can reattach our Shield here and then opposite of The Shield we can get our fuel tank on there that was the h30 atlas now one last thing to do to finish up the rear of the ship I don't like using glitches if I don't have to and in this case I really just wanted to close up the space left by the damos tail so using two damos Wing e in the AFT position flip glitch one here and one here flip and cancel and it stays in place and that's to me just a a nice way to close that off back there makes it look much more complete now we can start getting our weapon attachments ready we need one equipment plate up there on top of the ship and then we're going to make use of the Deo spines so grab the spine C and aft position orientation and we need one of those on each side then you can go ahead and duplicate the weapon sorry the equipment plate and put one one on each side on those nose caps right in front of the damos spines I like having a skag a under the cockpit here to kind of complete and unify the design and then I went ahead and put my shielded caros on either side of the skag this one goes in here and this one goes in right of course cuz we got to flip glitch this too flip and cancel stays right there okay we can move on to our weapons same weapons as the Basilisk and the Scythe in this case they really are my favorite to use so our exterminators that we got from heaw one goes on top here in front of your deo's tail and kind of ties it in a little better of course if you can use a a Deo spine piece in front of that tail that would be uh much more streamlined but I wanted to get a weapon up there so now we can get our PBO 175 Auto helion beams but I missed two weapon attachments so get a horizon weapon Mount and put one here and here now we've got all the attachment points that we need just want to make sure that attached correctly grab your your PB 175 and I put one here and one here and then one on each of the damos spines that's four of those now we can get our Vanguard obliterators attached and you can see the six points that we have left there in the middle of the ship and in the uh nose caps and we're done now I start painting the ship and as I do so I look down at my stats and realize that my jump range is at 29 light years so very quickly go ahead and swap the Aurora 12g for the Aurora which which is it I forgot the number 13g that's the one with 33 grab jump thrust and that's the one we're going to use and before I place it I just went ahead and painted it in the dark gray and black colors that I have in my pallet already and put that in place and now the ship is complete so as always finish up your paint and when you are happy go ahead and give your ship a name and we are [Music] [Music] done and here's a quick look at the ship's final stats the only thing that's not correctly displaying here is the reactor rating of course I have maxed an neutronic Fusion skill so the reactor power here should read 45 then I have Vasco on crew so I have 46 power and of course Sam Co gives me a free uh Power pip in the engine slot so let's give this thing a quick walk through and we're going to take it to The Usual Suspects and pick some fights this is a fighter so it is of course very good in combat uh but it is not as effective as the Scythe but it benefits from having the cargo again so I'm okay with the tradeoff coming through the hatch we're greeted with the Nova uh all-in-one birth B and I choose this one because it has three beds whereas the birth a only has one and uh the layout of that Hab is virtually identical to the uh Frontier specific Hab that comes on the frontier of course up the ladder and we enter into the novag galactic control stations um pretty simple in here um maybe not my favorite but it matches the other Habs and get a quick peek out of the rear window there through the side hatch we have the damos workshop and I like these because they have the research Bay built into them um also the dark floor and White Walls kind of match the aesthetic of the Nova parts then of course we enter into our cockpit which is the Hope Tech Armstrong and I just love this it kind of reminds me of the Matrix in here um so that's the ship let's take this thing out and see what it can do [Music] all right let's see what's out there while I quickly go over
