teleport to the capital with pastry and Mark and Lumi think that Lord casserole's magic is amazing at the capital city of Balia pastry notices that there are lots of things here that he has never seen before he thinks that he can make lots of different kinds of sweets with all these materials and casserole mentions that he will buy pastry anything he wants if he can make it through the sanctification ceremony pastry thinks that he can't decide what he wants and he then notices that this world also has apples casserole states that these are called Bonas and they are grown in the north he mentions that they are a little sour and he hasn't had much of them either pastry thinks that there are lots of ways to use Sour Apples and he mentions that he would like to try growing Bonas so they should bring some back with them seeing pastry interested in good of other lands casserole thinks that he is developing the instincts of a lord and pastry thinks that he will be able to make lots of things if he manages to grow apples in his village casserole thinks that pastry can use his talent to make a rich land with a strong Army And Pastry thinks that he can use them to make a land of sweets the scene then cuts to the both of them arriving at the church and the father there states that it's been a while and the last they met was on his daughter's sanctification ceremony he mentions that he has heard a lot of tales about casserole like last year he protected his people through the frost and casserole mentions that it was all thanks to the wisdom of his son casserole then states that he would like for his son to undergo his true sanctification ceremony today and the father wonders if he is serious casserole states that he is and back at the Village Josephine asked inside of him and the scene cuts to his father waking him up and telling him that pastry did well to endure it for the last 2 Days Later the father reads a scripture to pastry and he mentions that this scripture would make sense to him if pastry has truly found his power within the priest then reads the scripture And Pastry can feel the magic spells that he can use and he thinks that the scripture itself is Magic the ritual is then complete and casserole is happy that his son made it through later the priest states that pastry has acquired power that is almost unheard of in this day and age and Cass then gives the father a donation and they leave afterwards at the market pastry is buying some Bonas and he is confused whether he should buy the heavy ones or the sparkling ones he then buys the Bonas and the shopkeeper gives him two extras for his enthusiasm and pastry thinks that these are the best ones so far meanwhile the father notices that the donation only has silver coins and he thinks that this is what he expected of a Backwater Noble who won his status on the battlefield he mentions that this is not enough for him to keep his mouth shut and the scene then cuts to pastry and casserole eating Bonas And Pastry thinks that this really is an apple he tells his father that they should not tell his mother and sister that they ate the best ones and his father agrees And Pastry thinks that one day he is going to make this world's own land of sweets the scene then cuts to the bandits raiding a town and they mention that this town doesn't have enough food for them all their leader states that next they will see what Morton has to plunder and in Morton we see that the villagers are putting up a barricade to fight the bandits sheet then informs casserole that the village in the night's thief of lip Taver was attacked and raised by Bandits and casserole can't believe that the bandits have already gotten to lip Taver he thinks that they might arrive before the two- months deadline and casserole then tells pastry to summon the leader of the other Villages and his other retainers named quantro and glich the scene then cuts to pastry explaining that his father sealed up the other two Villages and ordered their Wells to be filled in and their fields and homesteads stripped the people from the sealed Villages moved to the main village and they plan to lure the bandits to the main village casserole then asks sheet how long they will be able to hold out for and Sheet states that they will be able to hold out for 3 days but if they ration themselves to one meal a day then they could stretch it out to 7 Days pastry then thinks that they are short on forces and they will probably be overwhelmed in a prolonged campaign he thinks that they need a plan and Mark and Lumi then come there and they mention that they will help Pastry as they are his lieutenants they explain that their fathers are retainers to Lord casserole which makes them retainers to the next Lord which is pastry pastry then tells them to stop giving him the noble treatment and he thinks that normally he would be playing with the other kids around this time and this gives him an idea he then asks Mark and Lumi to gather some rocks and he tells them to gather the ones that are just right for throwing and he warns them to be careful as the bandits are already within the thief's boundary the kids understand and the scene cuts to them Gathering rocks and they get tired doing it Lumi then asks Mark what kind of magic pastry ended up with Mark states that pastry didn't tell him about it and she thinks that it's awesome that pastry can already use magic mark then hears something and he notices some dust clouds in the distance the kids then run back to the village and they inform everyone that the bandits are here pastry tells his mother to get the little children inside and the villagers wonder if they can really go up against a group of Bandits casserole then inspires the people to fight for their village with his words and he states that they should be ready as the bandits will attack at night he then sends quantro and glage to head to the West and East entrance of the village and Sheet wonders if casserole is sure that the bandits are going to attack at night cerol states that the bandits must be running low on food and provision as last year's Frost must have left their neighboring Fields with poor crop yields and they will want to strike as soon as possible sheet mentions that if they don't then keeping the men up all night will only Tire them and casserole then asks pastry what he thinks pastry states that there is too much that they don't know like the extent of the enemy supplies and their numbers and casserole then leaves with sheet to do some Recon and he puts pastry in charge while he is gone pastry then tells Mark to tell quantro at the Western Canal to use flaming arrows to Signal the arrival of the enemy and he tells Lumi to tell glage to start preparing fire arrows and he tells her to tell him to fire the arrows in the direction the enemy comes from Lumi wonders if pastry is sure about this as the arrows could hit Lord casserole as well and pastry states that his father won't let himself be hit by a stray Arrow he mentions that the fire arrow will help guide his father and sheep back to the Village as they might lose their sense of direction while being pursued by the bandits Mark states that his father should be able to teleport back to the Village if that happens and pastry mentions that his father's teleportation magic has a weight limit and he can't teleport himself sheet and the horses pastry's friends then go to do their instructed tasks and pastry notices that some children are scared and he thinks that he thought that pastries were the only thing that he would ever need to worry about but in this new world he has to protect their Thief if he wants to make his dream come true pastry then tells the men to prepare for battle and elsewhere sheet uses magic to locate the bandits Camp he states that the bandits are a gang of EX Cavalry and they have got five horses he mentions that there are around 70 Bandits and casserole thinks that they must be a group of professionals sheet then states that the bandits also have captured villagers from somewhere and they are probably being used as slaves casserole thinks that he is not going to let them do the same to his family and friends and he then goes with sheep to raid their camp at the Bandit's Camp some grunts informed the boss that the surrounding Villages are empty and even the wells have been filled up the leader thinks that they must be focusing their forces in a single place and casserole and Sheet then arrive there and they take down a bunch of Bandits the leader of the bandits realizes that these two must be trained Riders and he then manages to strengthen his scattered Army seeing this casserole thinks that they won't be able to launch another attack and he then withdraws with sheet and the bandits follow after them their leader tries to stop them but they can't hear him and he also goes with them back at the Village glage hears the horses coming and he fires a fire arrow to Signal their arrival seeing the aroc casserole thinks that pastry must be trying to guide them back to the Village but if he is comfortable telling the Bandits where the village is then he must have a trap laid out for them pastry then finds out that his father and Sheet are being chased by Bandits and he tells the kids to be ready to throw the Rocks casserole and sheep then take a turn and pastry Begins the attack and the kids fire stones at the bandits using slingshots Mark then thinks that he never knew that playing with slingshots will come in handy like this and the story then goes back to the past by a few hours the villagers asked pastry if he is really going to make the children do this and Mark states that they are better at using slingshots than any of the adults pastry mentions that this will only be an ambush but if they can disrupt their formation then it will allow his father and Sheet more freedom to move he states that they can make up for their numerical disadvantage if the children fight with them and when the enemy passes the canal the children will fall back listening to such a detailed plan the villagers agree to this and Lumi states that she will show these old guys what she can do pastry mentions that Lumi should sit this one out as she is a girl and Lumi states that pastry can't stop his future retainer from fighting we then see that the slingshots are working like a charm to thin out the numbers of the bandits and at the same time casserole and Sheet are fighting the enemies outside the fence the leader of the bandits then manages to cross the canal after dodging the stones and the villagers try to stop him from climbing the cliff but they fail to do so and the leader enters the village he then starts killing the villagers inside and other Bandits also enter the village the retainers fight the bandits along with the Villagers and the kids also help them out the leader of the bandits then goes after the kids and pastry protects them and he asks them to get inside the leader then takes Pastry as hostage And Pastry then notices an injured Bandit and he thinks that he can use him pastry then uses his magic to replicate the bandits injury on all the other Bandits inside the village and a sudden surge of pain hits the bandits the leader then wonders if pastry is a magic user and past states that he is just a poier and Mark out the leader with a stone the story continues and a villager informs Agnes that they have won the battle Agnes then asks him if her husband and son are uninjured and the Villager states that the Lord is safe but pastry received a blow to the arm this makes Agnes worry and the Villager states that there is no need to worry as it's Jets a scratch Josephine then asks the Villager why they haven't returned home yet and the scene cuts to pastry sorting things out with the Villagers after the fight casserole's retainers and the villagers then lock the captured bandits in a shed and Sheet wonders if casserole is still going to ship these Bandits to Reis casserole states that this is the most sensible thing to do and he mentions that the count of Reis can claim that they dealt with the Bandits Rather than simply driving them out he mentions that this will allow the count to save face and Sheet wonders what kind of gratitude they can expect from them in return cassero states that he hopes to get the compensation for the campaign expenses and the losses suffered from temporarily sealing off the other two Villages the scene then cuts to casserole awarding those who performed well in their recent battle and he also Awards Mark and Lumi he mentions that they served well as pastry's assistant in the recent conflict and he Awards them a sword each and a bag of barley the scene then changes to Mark and Lumi carrying the barley and their swords and it's too heavy for them to carry pastry then comes there and he helps them carry it he mentions that they did great in the battle and they state that they weren't as great as him pastry then thinks that he is glad that no one died and he thinks that they can now get back to their daily lives the scene then cuts to them all at Mark's house and Mark shows his mother the reward he got from the Lord Mark's siblings think that he is awesome and his mom is glad that he made it back safely his mother then asks pastry if Mark caused any troubles for him and pastry states that both Mark and Lumi did great and and they will both be indispensable for the future of mortal afterwards they go to lum's house and her grandfather is proud of her seeing that she is aiding the Lord at such a young age some villagers then come to their house and her grandfather states that they should celebrate their Victory one of the villagers then asks Lumi if her father is not back yet and Lumi states that he isn't as he had some business with Mark's father the villagers then see that the young Lord is also here and they ask him to celebrate with them and pastry agrees they all then celebrate their Victory and the villagers state that the Ambush lead by the young Lord was really great pastry then thinks that now he can focus on making sweets and he is going to make a bonka pie he thinks that he will need eggs flour and butter for that and he will need some other things as well Mark and Lumi then leave the room and Mark thinks that it feels weird to hear the villagers say nice things about them as they are used to being chewed out Mark then wonders what they did with the bandits and Lumi states that they put them in the shed in the main village Mark states that they should go and check it out as it's their Duty as the retainers of the next Lord to monitor the prisoners Lumi agrees and they go to check the prisoners out but the guards at the shed don't allow them to enter inside Mark thinks that the guards shouldn't treat them like kids and he then gets an idea and he hides in the bushes nearby with Lumi he then throws some Stone on the side of the shed and the guards go to check out where the sound came from Mark and Lumi use this opportunity to go inside and the leader of the bandits notices them the leader asks Mark where he got that sword from and Mark states that he received it as a reward the leader mentions that this used to be his sword and he states that he will be dead once the villagers turn him in and he mentions that he would like to teach Mark how to use his sword before that he mentions that if Mark uses it right then it would let him cast magic and he tells Mark to draw the sword Mark listens to him even though Lumi warns him against it and the leader then states that Mark will have to say some magic words but he will have to come close as he doesn't want Lumi to hear them Mark listens to him and he goes in closer and the leader loosens his binding he then kicks Mark and he releases himself and takes the sword he slashes Lumi with the sword and he then takes Mark as a hostage and the guards can't do anything to him the scene cuts to pastry finding out that one of the bandits have hurt Lumi And Pastry goes to check things out meanwhile the leader tries to make his escape and his gang asks him to save them as well but the leader mentions that they should do it themselves the leader then runs away with a horse taking Mark with him and pastry then comes to check on Lumi he notices that she needs treatment at once and he asks the villagers to stop the bleeding and he then asks the guards where the Bandit ran off to the guards state that he fled to the East and pastry thinks that the traps he laid there should still be in place and he thinks that he can use his replication on the leader if he manages to avoid a fatal blow he then realizes that he can also use his replication in another way and the scene cuts to casserole finding out that pastry went in pursuit of the Bandit alone casserole mentions that he will go after pastry and he asked sheets to come with him sheets states that he should go alone and he asks casserole to stay here and reassure the villagers that things are going to be fine casserole understands and the scene then changes to the leader of the bandits fleeing away with Mark the leader then stumbles across the Trap laid by pastry and he falls off his horse pastry then catches up to them and he takes out his sword to fight the Bandit leader he remembers the training he did with his father and they then lock their swords the both of them then cross swords with each other and the leader thinks that he is going to be fine as long as he can finish pastry in a single attack as then pastry wouldn't be able to replicate his wound on him seeing pastry losing the battle Mark tells him to run but pastry states that he is not going to leave his friend behind the Bandit leader then attacks pastry and he breaks his sword and the scene then cuts to Sheets looking for pastry he looks far and wide but he can't see any sign of him and he then notices pastry's Broken Sword seeing this he thinks that the unthinkable might have happened to him and he goes back to report this to casserole on the way he wonders how he is going to tell him this and when he enters the house he is surprised to see pastry on his mother's lap casserole states that pastry returned with Mark not long ago and Agnes took him in her arms and she eventually fell asleep like that sheets wonders how pastry got past them as they followed straight after him and casseroles asks pastry to explain himself pastry tries to avoid the explanation but casserole doesn't listen to his excuses and pastry states that he just replicated his father's magic onto himself he explains that his magic lets him copy anything and he thought that it might work on other people's magic spells as well and he replicated his father's magic to get back here hearing this casserole gets angry and he forbids him from telling anyone that he can use other people's magic spells he mentions that he also shouldn't use these spells in front of others as using magic the wrong way could get him killed the scene then cuts to casserole talking with sheets and he states that others might treat Pastry as a human weapon if word got out that he could use other people's magic sheets thinks that it would be better if they didn't let the Bandit leader get away and casserole mentions that they should just hope that he is disposed of before before he reveals the secret elsewhere Mark is sitting alone depressed over lum's injury and pastry comes there and he tells him that they should go pay Lumi a visit Mark states that he can't face Lumi as she got hurt because of him and pastry tells him that moping around here won't make things any better and he asks him to apologize to her the scene then cuts to pastry and Mark at lum's house and pastry asks her how she is Lumi states that she is all better now but her father just won't let her play outside pastry is glad to see that she is fine and he tells her that he is going to borrow her kitchen the scene then cuts to pastry in the kitchen and he makes apple pie he weighs the right amount of the ingredients required and he prepares the pie he also dips some apples in Honey and meanwhile Mark apologizes to Lumi for getting her injured Lumi states that it's fine and they then smell the apple pie pastry then comes into the room with the pie and he tells them that this is a bonka pie he states that this is his way of making Lumi feel better and cheering up Mark Mark and Lumi then try the Bonk up high and they think that it's really sweet pastry then asks them to try bonkas in Honey and they think that it's really sour they can't believe that it's the same fruit and pastry states that every bonka tastes different and you need real skill to prepare it in a way that harmonizes their flavors he mentions that he thinks that this is true for people as well and he states that Mark has his own aspects that make make him unique and he is going to make those aspects shine this cheers up Mark and glage then comes there and he is angry at Mark for getting his precious daughter injured he mentions that Mark will have to make up for it by marrying her someday and he states that he knows that her tomboyish daughter is not going to land a man on her own Lumi states that it's fine by her and this makes Mark embarrassed Lumi then shares the bonka pie with glich and glich likes the pie as well pastry then thinks that sweets really do bring smiles to people's faces and he is going to make everyone happy by making a land of sweets meanwhile in reies a woman finds out that the bandits were dispatched in the thief of Morton and she thinks that dealing with this could be quite Troublesome the story continues and casserole states that they have no money pastry explains that recovery after the bandits attack is proving to be difficult and the burden of reopening the two sealed Villages is a heavy one they are quickly running out of money due to the funds required in digging up the wells and securing the food for the upcoming Winters casserole states that letting the Bandit leader Escape also wasn't a good thing as they could have gotten 200 gold coins for its head he thinks that they can't even borrow the money and Sheet states that no one can lend it to them as the thiefs around them have nothing to spare due to the recent Frost and many of them have been asking them for loans he states that they can't even ask the court Nobles for a loan as they would charge a really high interest for it pastry then wonders if his father and and mother can't ask their parents for help and casserole states that both him and Agnes has cut ties with their parents he has never even introduced them to their grandchildren so he can't ask them for money now casserole then explains that when it must have been hard for them as arrang marriages are the norm in this world the scene then cuts to pastry talking with Mark and Lumi and he tells them about their money problem pastry then asks Lumi how her wound is healing up and Lumi states that it's fine now and she even has permission to go out now Mark still asks her to take it easy and pastry states that they make a cute couple Mark avoids the subject and he asks pastry if they could make the fields bigger to make more money pastry states that there is still room for an expansion but doing so will require Time Manpower and money Lumi then Sugg suggests that pastry can sell the bonka pie he made earlier and pastry thinks that they are fun to make but they will need a way to bring in Bonas in order to produce enough to make a profit Mark then suggests that pastry can teach magic And Pastry wonders why he wants to learn magic mark states that he can do some really cool things with it and Lumi mentions that it would take a miracle for Mark to learn magic and Mark gets angry hearing this Lumi then ridicules Mark by saying that he would just burn himself if he tried to use Fire magic and past asks the two of them to stop flirting Lumi states that she thinks that magic would be the key and she asks pastry to show them the spell he uses as it might give them some ideas pastry thinks that three heads are better than one and he thinks that when he was a poier he would spend an entire night brainstorming with his colleagues pastry then tells his friends to make a picture they like in the dirt Mark and Lumi then make pictures and pastry wonders what Mark has drawn Mark states that it's him fighting a dragon and pastry thinks that the dragon looks more like a worm pastry then notices that Lumi has drawn a bonka and a bonka pie Mark states that the pie looks like a rock and Lumi then ridicules Mark's drawing as well and they fight once again pastry stops them and he then uses his spell to replicate the drawing on land onto the hands of Mark and Lumi Lumi notices that she can't erase the drawings and pastry mentions that it disappears automatically after 3 days on skin but on trees or walls it's permanent Mark thinks that it's awesome and Lumi then wonders if pastry can do this the other way around and she wonders if he can copy something else as a drawing like copying the picture of a house in the dirt this gives pastry an idea and he thanks Lumi for this pastry then leaves and meanwhile casserole wonders if Agnes can ask her parents for help Agnes states that she is not sure if her parents will help her and pastry then comes there and he states that he has a great way to make money sheet wondered ERS what he means And Pastry mentions that his father told him about his attempts to arrange a marriage for Josie and since he can use teleportation magic he can take her all around to introduce her casserole states that this is correct and pastry wonders what parents who don't have teleportation magic do casserole states that the best way would be to attend the royal ball but traveling is dangerous and expensive pastry then uses his magic and he wonders what it would be like if they have something like this and he shows them a picture of his mother Agnes thinks that it's like looking in the mirror and pastry explains that he calls them matchmaking photos and this way people can show off their child without the need for travel pastry then thinks that knowledge unrelated to sweets can also come in handy sometimes and casserole thinks that they can charge five or 10 gold coins for a picture that's detailed and it would still be cheaper than a portrait he thinks that plenty of people would pay out of the nose to introduce their child with a picture and this might just makers the tatten sister and he states that typically with tart they put fruit on top and bake it but once the sisters forgot to put the crust into the mold and ended up just baking the fruit with no wonderful dessert he mentions that if the tattin sisters had simply thrown out the fruit and started again then they would never have tart tattin and just because the sisters refuse to let failure licorice thinks that it smells wonderful pastry states that it's cheesecake make from goat's milk and licorice thinks that the sweet's pastry makes are amazing pastry then goes to wake up his sister and his sister mentions that she would eat her cake here and she asks him to bring it she then notices that licorice is also in the room and she gets embarrassed being seen in this state by Licor is later pastry makes something else and licorice wonders what he is making today and pastry Whispers the desserts name in her ear licorice thinks that it sounds delicious and pastry states that she can
