Oh since we're on the topic of hardness it brings us to our first question from the community um this from kickback Couture shout out to July we definitely mess with July she said what habits do your most successful artists have and I'm a producers on today because nowadays I want to make there's sometimes there's no difference it's hard to differentiate between a producer and artists because some artists are produced some pieces are artists so like but I feel like some of them have the same traits you know it's just a little different but I feel like the most important some of the most important traits are like talent I mean people take it for granted like but you really do I feel like you have to be talented I've heard some songs that like oh I didn't really care for that song but to be sustained to have a sustainable career over a long period of time you have to be talented in my opinion I feel like you have to have um work ethic like so there's a saying that hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard and I truly believe that you know so if you look at guys like in any profession I think Malcolm call would have this 10,000 hours thing but I feel like I was just reading a story Katy like he basically lived 8 breathe basketball for like its first up until like up until now - probably just got hurt recently so um it was just you have to be consumed with it and to be the best just it has to be all about that because you got people gunning for you and so you have to have that work ethic I feel like you have to have like relationships with connections because if you have talent you have work ethic but you don't know anybody and now the internet makes it a lot easier sorry about that so but if for example I beats he was work hard worker he had the talent and then he met me and then he sent me some beats and I sent him to Oliver Oliver gave it to Drake and now here's a guy who didn't speak English at the time he did the guy with just a record for drinking and got a placement you know so for example Bobby Johnson you know he was producing in Germany he's a kid he was in college and hey you sent these beats to cue one of my former clients and cue wrote made this og Bobby Johnson me and tuned a signed them shout out to every our end and you know he's got this placement Beyonce you know so and we connect them got some other good stuff going for him but he made those connections you know and then that that plays a big role into it
