GTA 5 Roleplay Servers - How To Join On PS4 & PS5 (2024)

today I'm going to be showing you guys how to join a GTA 5 RP server for console now one thing I want to get straight right off the bat is within weeks we are about to receive the cops and Crooks update for GTA online and this is going to bring a slew new content that's going to be police related to GTA online and obviously Horizon which if you don't know is my roleplay server with like nearly 14,000 members at recording of this video so go join make that number go up it's kind of awesome huge community you guys will love it you guys are here because you going to how to join so first things first you're going to need to have a couple things and one thing I want to make very clear is these things you're going to need aren't going to be hard to get none of this process is remotely difficult at all you probably already have 99% of all of this done minus like maybe two things so trust me it's super easy you guys are going to absolutely love it the server has so much to offer it's super fun it's not like most roleplay servers on Console where you just basically have to wait for a staff member to allow you to do basically any scene I think I've even seen some servers where in order to Sprint you need to have priority so you have to walk everywhere it's kind of ridiculous it makes it pretty unfun being completely honest it's not like that here you can do quite a lot the freedom is actually kind of insane but anyway you guys want to know how to join that's what I'm tell you so first things first when you join the server you're going to be greeted to a how to join channel the channel is called how to join to make it easier so people know well how to join and which channel probably tells them how to join first things first it's going to tell you how to apply with a little bit of an introduction there's also a before you apply so great off the bad before you do literally anything in the server you need to read all of our roleplay rules and the Discord rules to their fullest there will be questions about some of them on the application as well as you will need to know them to avoid punishments and getting kicked in RP which is like kind of common sense but might as well list it off anyway so we don't expect par graphs for answers two questions however you will be asked about your character you plan on having in role play so answering with literally just a gangster or a Civ Etc like that's super basic and really not detail at all we're probably going to deny that we're not saying again not saying you need to have a whole essay written out but like a sentence or two would be nice so what do you need for your application anyway well for your application you're going to be asked for your PlayStation network username you'll need to provide it exactly as is you'll also need a relevant understanding of some basic roleplay terms such as RDM and vdm and a few others which again all on the roleplay rules channel so you're not going to be left in the dark about anything on the next thing is your Rockstar Social Club account now you probably weren't expecting this to make kind of have any play into the server which is understandable since like 99.9% of all console RP servers don't require that the .01% being Horizon basically yeah you're going to need your well you're going to need access to your Rockstar Social Club why is that let me tell you basically in Horizon someone griefs the server or you know for example decides to get in their oppressor or hydro and start killing everyone they're going to have maybe a second of being in it and US seeing it and we can instantly kick people from the session there's no griefing nobody nobody griefs because they just they know the repercussion like you can just get kicked instantly there's an instant kick system which makes moderation amazing and you don't have to worry about getting trolled basically if your full intent was to switch over from playing regular GTA online to this because you just don't like getting trolled and you just want to chill I'm going be honest this is probably your best bet that's just me so anyway in order to actually get into the session and begin role playing you will be required to join our social club crew as this will allow us obviously kick players some session instantly if needed for this you must make sure that your privacy settings on Rockstar Social Club that your privacy settings for your PlayStation username visibility are not set to Hidden really important make sure your visibility is all good to go it's set to everyone and right below that there's actually a little video with like arrows and it's whatever it explains exactly how to go do that if you're on mobile so it's also not much different on desktop so yeah I try to make it as easy as possible for everybody now final step being once you've been accepted a link to the server can be found in your application's acceptance message and a link to the crew will be provided in the main server in a channel called crew so join the RP simply pause go to the online tab Cruise my cruise View members and join us someone who's an RP such as host the host's name which can be posted in the announcement channel in the main server or literally just someone you see in a VC already because they already joined the RP and maybe it's already an hour into it that's the beauty of it you can join whenever you want pretty great there's also a little section in there called how to role play which is actually going to give you commands that you're going to need to use in RP some for the economy some for role play related things like interactions or police or like for example we have fuel system you can cuff people if you're a cop there's a hot wiring system so you can steal street cars if they're parked and locked in Co little hot wire feature it's not a guaranteed chance it's like a 50/50 it might work it might not and you'll have to go onto the next car but if it does you can hot wire and use it also for all the uh Leo enthusiasts Out There Our CAD is conducted completely in Discord within the same bot which is amazing meaning you don't have to leave Discord just to do a simple traffic stop and waste all that time and another really awesome something is we don't have a separate server for civilians EMS fire Leo economy it's all done in one server because I'm going to be honest switching to 10 different servers for the sake of one command you might use to check your balance it's kind of ridiculous there's really no point so it's very simple everything's pretty it's very in- depth but it's very basic so it's easy to learn but there is a lot to learn don't worry there like everything you need is in how to join channel so when you guys join the server immediately either read that Channel or or feel free to refer back to this video because what I'm explaining is basically what it explains so go do that that's pretty much it other than that there's a couple other channels in the Discord server as well as obviously the applications Channel which is obviously where you can find your wh List application or maybe you want to apply for staff because the help is always appreciated there's a support Channel as well in case you need any help obviously General chat a self-promo channel so if you guys are whitelisted and you want to stream the RPS or make some videos about the RPS feel free to post them there also we have a suggestions Channel because I like to take your guys' feedback and put it into effect in the server a lot of people end up getting their ideas actually implemented it's pretty awesome go check that out and if you guys aren't sold yet let me go over a couple of the things the server actually has to offer so first things first I actually just recently reworked The Heist system so you can already kind of you know Rob stores police will come that kind of thing but if you're looking to rob a bank pretty cool first things first in order to make an actual robbery request to rob a bank you need to either own a Lo lowend or high-end house which must be purchased in the server first so once you buy a low-end or high-end house it's totally up to you both will work and I mean this not only in game but in the server you can plan out heists it's pretty cool now in order to actually request a heist and have it go through there is a heist request well technically a robbery request Channel but in order to gain access to that channel you'll need that prerequisite first you'll need to buy that item from the shop and then you'll be good to go there's also a couple other things that you can see in The Heist request or well I keep calling Heist request robbery request Channel which it'll explain to you like you need to have a backpack you need to have a gun at least a hostage a mask that kind of stuff which you can all buy from the server shop minus the hostage you're going to have to go get one yourself so yeah pretty freaking cool also crafting and a whole lot more the server is really in-depth and it's it's just what can I say it's awesome there's a lot of people in it
