Great Finds From My First Estate Sale EVER! (and he was a hoarder)

what's going on you guys Josh here also known as Harry tornado in today's video is going to be a Saturday morning vlog showing you guys how Haley and I went to a garage sale a goodwill and most importantly our very first estate sale ever it was awesome happy to share this with you guys I hope you like it let's get into it [Music] sweet sweet tea scented candle that's very accurate that's very accurate huh yes how's it going good hurry all good friends game I know yeah do you know if everything's in there it should be it was we've only played it once and it's like a trivia game thing yeah look for anagrams yes we have two of them we're like why do we need two of them yeah the only one Bananagrams yeah yes I'll go ahead and get those two I'll just like leave them there for now and see what else I can ask for this one I'll just add it to the pile well yeah we'll settle it up bundle right yeah that's how I get the best deal okay I think that'll do me today all right just the three is four how about six for everything yeah that's what I was yeah we did that a few times just the lifecycle you know all right we appreciate you so with that first yard sale it wasn't anything spectacular I did pick up this Starbucks coffee mugs got the cork bottom and the lid I've been avoiding mugs for the most part because there's just not enough money in there to be worth it but I did find out a cool way to ship most mugs in a padded flat rate envelope maybe I'll share that with you guys in another video did a way to do it securely you know not just throwing it in there so pick that up I paid a dollar for this haven't looked up comps on that yet I'm assuming it probably lists it for eighteen dollars with free shipping or so so not a huge money maker also picked up this brand new sealed Bananagrams game if you have not played Bananagrams before you should check it out it's really fun new these are like fifteen sixteen bucks or so on Amazon so we're actually just gonna keep this for ourselves and then I picked up this friend's trivia game metal metal trivia game thing it was four dollars at the garage sale and I think I could probably get about fifteen to twenty four plus shipping so again not a ton of money to be made at that first sale but in my area of South Carolina and this late in the garage sale season it's pretty rare they're gonna hit a sale that's going to net you you know 100 something dollars or in it ran into this this this fella here they they're mad that we came into their territory today but I said there are extenuating circumstances and I'm having to branch out yeah Haley's the wheeler and dealer good how are you a lot of stuff don't sell a lot yesterday hello doing well how are you alright sounds good to me yeah bunch up lifetime supply in the shop out there he must have owned a business or something I mean there's yeah they probably make 30-40 percent off everything this whole good man they do most of the work yeah they work on eyes everything price everything is there handmade I'm assuming is ten bucks are both of them dirty hung is weird like most camouflage hats would be like Ford or Chevy nobody knows to brag about their Honda that's sick country probably not this is Wilson no ID this is good yeah this is he what have you found so far not enough to be worth my time I don't think any of this is like Bosmans janitor it never uses it [Music] well duck shoot shoehorn it could use used as a backscratcher this is interesting also uh $25 for Haley found this it's like a the adidas was like that trefoil I don't know I mean it's just uh a leather belt but I thought was pretty cool that Golden Rule JCPenney I think it was like two dollars this estate sale was really cool when I pulled up I ran into my friends Kim and Phillip from church Kim is one of the only people that has actually taken my reselling advice that I've been giving out free to anyone that'll listen and she's actually applying it to her own reselling business she went to the goodwill bins a couple weeks ago and found this two line answering machine she paid two bucks for it and sold it FBA for three hundred and fifty dollars so I'm really happy that she was able to do that a little bit jealous you know I've never I've never flipped a two-dollar item into 350 but I'm really happy that she's you know watching my videos and listening to what I'm telling her and just finding success so I love helping you guys do that and she is a a real life story I'm seeing unfold before my very eyes stood her husband went inside the house first I went to the shed first so we we both were able to find a couple cool things at this sale first thing I found was this airforce hat not anything fancy at all I think the hats were like 2 bucks and they were on sale for like 25% off I think everything in the state sale was 25% off it's just got a nice big embroidered logo on the back on the side and on the back so I think I have this listed for $18.00 16 or 18 dollars or so so again not a ton of profit there Dec second film was this belt it's genuine leather and it's kind of cool like detailing about it the size is about a 34 36 so pretty good size there and it's got a buckle attached to it that says it's like from JCPenney I don't you see the what does that say golden golden rule I don't know just like a brass seems like a brass buckle first store in I'm reading it backwards I don't whatever it's something Wyoming so belt buckles not anything super collectible but I think just the belt alone would be worth it that's a pretty cool leather belt so I paid three dollars for this and it was 25% off and probably gonna list it for like 25 maybe plus shipping then they had a whole Christmas section at this estate sale and I've known from watching a few of the other resellers that these dancing Santas to fairly well so one was listed at five dollars and 25 percent off and cops on this one I think we're like forty to fifty so this one is new in the box has never been opened ever this guy was a definite order at this estate sale a ton of new items in the box that's never been opened but this was one of the ones that I picked up so again pay like what four bucks there's whatever into about forty to fifty this other Christmas fun it's a Christmas story Santa treat jar I believe cops on this for like 40 I'm not 100% sure I'll throw some on the screen but this was also $5 at 25% off so four bucks into whatever this cop says and then the final find at the estate sale hailey actually found this when she wanted to make sure that I gave her credit for this but she comes up with this Jim this vintage adidas men's full zip sweatshirt with the trefoil logo and spell out on the chest and then the trefoil logo on the tag as well so definite quite Grail status here but really really good fun we listed this today and we had it listed for $50 plus shipping and you know if I can sell it for like 35 or so that would be really good this was only three dollars and it was 25% off that price I came a look at the hats yeah and we found both of these chick-fil-a uniforms Oh mermaid okay [Music] good will Hall was pretty good today I haven't been to this goodwill in a while so I was kind of hoping there'd be a little bit more but we still did pretty good first fun with these Brooks men's running shoes again I've been really picky on running shoes lately because one I have so many in my inventory currently but these were in very very good condition there were men's size 10 which is a very good size and a desirable colorway the black and red is very masculine so I think these will sell pretty quickly I'll probably list these for $35 plus shipping then Haley came through again with the chick-fil-a women's manager uniforms there's this one which is an extra small this one which is also also an extra small chick-fil-a uniforms like this are typically expensive but these do have some flaws there's like some horizontal I don't even know if you can see them it's like almost like a silk material so there's some horizontal poles like in the back so I'm just gonna list them together in a lot and disclose the poles that both of them have and probably ask like 30 bucks for both of them free shipping so these were for 75 each so not a ton of profit to be made but it's just important to make sure you're looking for stuff like this in the Goodwill store strictly uniforms are very expensive to order from the store so people are always looking on eBay for substitutes and extras and then she found another chick-fil-a womens uniform this one's a I think like an assistant manager uniform this one does not have any blemishes at all so again it was four dollars and 75 cents and I'm probably gonna ask 25 dollars just for this single one so again be able to look out for uniforms found this Harry Potter women's long sleeve like Christmas shirt it's not a sweater but it is like a shirt the Harry Potter brand and it's the size large so I paid this they rang me up a t-shirt price for this it was only a dollar and fifty cents and I think I can get twenty to twenty-five bucks for this Haley came in again with another fond of the Little Mermaid Disney shirt I have been passing on a lot of Disney branded shirts because they're kind of flooded and I don't know I just don't find very valuable ones very often but this one is the Disney Store brand so it's a good brand and it's like Little Mermaid and it's got this glitter stuff around it so you know people will have Little Mermaid they also like glitter typically so this was only a dollar at fifty cents and I think we probably get 20 bucks for it free shipping of course I found these three shirts I'm gonna sell them in a lot they're all something to do they all come on this tag that says the fighter and the kid podcast I do not know what that is but I looked at shirts and like new shirts from that podcaster like 20 to 25 each and all three it like this one something black black belt the big big big brown bear master Kim so I don't know I don't know but they're all the same brand from the same podcast and they're all the same size so I paid a dollar and 50 cents for each of these and I'm gonna list them all together and one in one listing all three of them on one listing and probably asked like 30 bucks with Free Shipping or so again I don't really know much about these but any time you find a shirt with cool graphics like this and it feels like a high quality and you can lock them together that makes selling t-shirts a little bit more worth it so that was everything we picked up today but that is not the best part of today so we got home today and Haley said she wanted to help me list the items that we had just bought this is a pretty big deal because if she you know gets into listing and gets to you know kind of get behind the scenes a little bit and see the work that goes in and yeah I signed into the eBay app on her phone so now yeah I sold like two things today and she was getting the notifications of that so she's getting excited and we got in the garage and got to work I showed her how to list two things so you know kind of walking behind her and showed her what to do and she took off she photographed measured put away and listed 15 items today by herself and I checked the listings I mean it's it's solid like it's pretty much 99% of what I would do myself and so she's really loving it she's just really focused and I'm really excited that she's you know getting into this and seeing behind the scenes and seeing what it's actually like to be a reseller I don't I don't know I mean the whole unemployment thing still kind of sucks but today was a really really good day I also want to thank you guys for all of the wonderful comments on my last video I I knew there'd be a lot of comments because of the giveaway but you guys are really going above and beyond with your encouragement and just your overall positivity and I really appreciate that I didn't wanna clarify it like I'm not I'm not struggling you know we have Haley and I are both financially savvy you know we have a good amount of savings and you know my job paid me off my last week I'm up saved up pto and the severance and so you know we're not starving one of our friends that lives here in Columbia she was her comment was like do you I can bring you a casserole she was such a sweetheart so we're not starving it's just it's just kind of a sucky situation you know but like most of you were saying in the
