GoXLR Mini - 2 PC Setup In Less Than 2 Minutes

hello everyone my name is cody hughes and today we're going to be setting up dual pc audio on the go xlr mini in less than two minutes [Music] please do remember to like comment and subscribe i just started this channel up not too long ago and your support is very much appreciated if you are enjoying the videos there are a couple things that you will need in addition to the go xlr mini you will need at least two eighth inch aux cables as well as a ground loop noise isolator so just a quick overview of the setup we're going to be plugging our go xlr mini directly into our gaming pc via usb this is going to allow us to control our mic chat music and game volume with the sliders and then we're going to go grab these sound alerts that we have in obs from our streaming pc back into the go xlr mini and into our headphones first things first what you want to do is locate the line in and line out on the back of your go xlr mini so the first connection is going to be going from the line out of your go xlr mini to the line in of your streaming pc this is going to send our mix to obs now with your other aux cable you want to go from the line out on your streaming pc to the line in on your go xlr mini and this is where i would recommend using that ground loop noise isolator if you're not going to use one of these you may hear some interference coming from your streaming pc and if you're like me and you use the arctis pro wireless headset or any headset with a receiver for that matter you're going to want to use another audio cable to go from your headphone jack on the front of your go xlr mini to the line in on your wireless headset receiver and now we must dive into the software to complete the routing we want to go to the routing tab in our go xlr app and we want this row here called line out we want to make sure that the mic chat and music is all selected and over here in this line in column we only want the headphones you especially want to avoid checking the line out box here because that's just going to create a loop of things coming from your streaming pc back into your google xlr mini it's going to be chaos you don't want it in your obs audio settings you just want to make sure that the mic auxiliary audio is set to line in and that's it you should be good to go if you have any questions please leave them in the comments below if you'd like to come hang out and watch me play video games or play video games with me i stream every monday wednesday and thursday at 6 pm eastern on youtube be sure to go check out my band fight like sin if you need some copyright free rock music to play in your stream and please do join my discord links are in the description below my name is cody hughes and thanks for watching [Music]
