this is a little chef he's gonna go not be here because he's still sick garfield eats i don't think so i'm opening a competitor called bingus bites it's like mother why do you do this to us we're making a lasagna today this is this this lasagna is a lasagna that you too can make instead what are we doing i don't know you too can make this lasagna for approximately 40 instead of spending approximately forty dollars on a garfield eats lasagna this one's gonna be it's gonna be like three times the size and around the same price but with exponentially more nutritional value so it's going to have ingredients in it um look at all these carrots look we have more than like three carrots it's gonna be great i promise i really wanted to get the price of these ingredients to be almost exactly the same to be like 41 something i think it was 41.79 i really wanted to get a receipt that just said like 41 on it or something all of this stuff and i could only get it up to 37 i was very disappointed but we are adding we already had the parsley at home and we're adding the parsley so let's just assume that the parsley got it up there close to 40. here's our little ingredient prep everything is out here pretty much except the ricotta because we're a cooking show we're a cooking show and we ingredient prep now mostly just so we don't have to sit here filming for like seven hours is gonna be that i did take some inspiration from the ingredients of the original garfield based lasagna i probably would not have chosen to put carrots or beyond meat in this but it's got to be beefy or else it's not a garfield lasagna if it was just us doing this we'd probably just make some kind of like lentil mushroom mixture or something like that because that's my personal taste right on meat before so i made burgers last year oh that's true but you didn't you didn't like them though no i didn't i'm not good at making latte foam i do not want to be judged by the internet for this oh which one is one with the more foam the cappuccino it's a cappuccino garfacino there you go i think a cappuccino is one with more foam i only did my research on this when i was trying to learn how to froth really following a recipe this is like a weird this is a brain hybrid of three four different recipes that i came across while trying to research ingredients so that i could shove as many of them as possible in my lasagna therefore making it as expensive of a lasagna as possible because it's honestly it was hard it's hard to make a lasagna cost 40 dollars i'm singing songs in my head are they with the ricotta thing this is so textured you can you i believe that you can we also added some capers feels fun fresh organic and flirty to add some papers i think the original promised capers i didn't find any but i think that capers were promised i think it means a little pepper i love how this is just like garfield eats lasagna cooking for two it's not that we don't have a big enough pot we're just very romantic pepper pepper i already put some in but you know oh that's a lot oh my god no okay um the year is 2019 and we're on bon appetit i think we can start assembling soon i like it i'm sad i think it's really good so wait i'm putting all of this in yes put all of it in i don't care about measurements okay this is how you cook something kids listen you google it you read like two where like it's kind of circular around like it's not perfectly square and like it fits perfectly like this but then there's like these little extra bits we can just leave those empty right or we can it had no ingredients that's the miraculous thing about lasagna it has layers so just get in there so just kidding this is good that's an inspirational spirit right there just get it a lasagna has deranged like who makes lasagna that small oh we didn't preheat the oven no we did not preheat the oven but also the oven makes horrible sounds and [ __ ] with my audio so i don't care look at that a garfield's lasagna this is scooby-doo eats lasagna technically now because he's rebranded but it's also exactly the same and they're still just selling lasagnas but it's scooby-doo eats now everyone keeps messaging me like have you seen scooby-doo it's what do you think about scooby-doo it's like i don't care i honestly find it a little bit disappointing and uninspiring because when it was garfield elites there was like kind of this mythology behind it right like who is this crazy man in his orange suit he was just so passionate about garfield that he had to do this to us you know now that he's gone and done it again exactly the same but with a different cartoon franchise slapped on it it's just like oh like it's just a better one okay yeah obviously scooby-doo is better and i think most people in our generation would agree to that yes like i know there's a few like rogue garfield fanatics out there that i've come across who pop up in my comments every time i'm like who the [ __ ] likes garfield but fine i agree that apparently some people the [ __ ] like garfield not me i like scooby doo but still like what that's not gonna make me buy a scooby-doo brand lasagna this is this is the lasagna i want and this is the lasagna that you should want the batter is literally about to die but this is like three binguses no it's like fun we have a kitchen scale that's not packed because we couldn't wait it's packed oh that would have been so i do think it would be heavier too heavy for a kitchen scale though i only thought of that because the vet told me to weigh him on a kitchen scale yesterday anyway i think this would be honestly too lucky for a kittens girl okay i'm gonna we'll be back we'll be back next time on strange battery it looks good honestly i don't know even if it needs to go in uncovered we want to crisp up the cheese though do we yeah how's it going just checking out my son he's looking give it a sec also happy to report that it did not make any terrifying thumping noises while in the oven like the garfield beats one dude probably because the container it was in was expanding because it was going from like frozen to oven where it froze into frozen to oven uh whereas this one was just a room temperature normal containers i'm eating these pieces that are stuck to tinfoil you didn't give me any no there it is i need to put it down is so heavy i know i literally was so afraid i was gonna drop it when i took it out the first time whether he's gorgeous that is beautiful it will burn in some places just around like specifically this edge that i left that i peeled the tin foil back got real burnt but the rest of it gorgeous fresh parsley sprinkle so delicate oh so cute i think we're ready for a romantic dinner is it hot yes beautiful she's beautiful look at that look at those capers look at that zucchini how many noodle layers did i get in sorry i gotta do it i need to do it for nathan so we got four names it's actually hard to tell and might just be four but there's they're boofy they're boofy okay are we gonna be doing watching look at how cute it is it is really cute cheers it's hot but it's good it's extremely hearty my one critique i think is would we would make the sauce more liquidy next time it's not like it's not super saucy let's observe the carcass it could be saucier a little dry however it's not dry it's not the sauce is very very thick also we've never made lasagna before no i just realized that for our first lasagna ever i see it's quite good i can grow look at the difference this is the this is the dent that we made into it and that was like a big slice greeting good boy we eaten good for like the rest of the week oh no oh this is a dangerous game that we're playing i think it needs to be done well should we sign off probably just hanging out just garfing around you know like those mukbang things really like too much food we should do one and just i was gonna say we're gonna finish this right now this turned into a mukbang and i'm not editing it you're getting the raw footage of us trying to eat this whole thing what is it man versus food this could be on it like if you eat this whole lasagna you're when you you're a winner you win essentially otherwise you have to pay like 150 bucks is that a concept of a show yeah but i would be like flipping through cable back in the day
