both players are ready to go is that a different me gunner he has a few different suits he doesn't use different types oh this was a different suit he used this against me i remember he does not looking at the friendlies focus was kind of getting messed up regardless of character so yeah i feel like um kazuya doesn't do very well against zoners that's the thing you want to really keep kazuya out because his whole game is up up close and personal right if you have a player or a character strictly like me gunner who's like almost entirely sonar based uh it's not gonna be a fun time for most kazuyas yeah kazia versus the falco2 definitely looks like falco all right here we go hopefully the players have everything settled and sorted out we've got game number one of our winners finals here on pokemon stadium we're gonna see how this one goes best of five set hopefully it's a good one all right hope you did like four or five dashback options there and riddles realized it immediately and then uh i don't know exactly what happened there i think he got spiked in pogie's air dodge after the spike as well trying to attack it was a weird kind of spike it wasn't like a fast one but again as you said i don't think it was expected riddles had his turn but uh this is poke jesus turn now all right all it takes is one grab to get something like this started here we go 39 catching him under the platform instead of his projectiles at ledge even if you know what you're doing this can be hard to get out of yeah he's just so tricky with it didn't fall off the platform into that oh okay i do like the neutral be there buys him a little bit of time to get back and he does fortunately the upside is barely not connecting and rage dive he's still still covering himself with the projectiles but we're just waiting for the projectile yeah electric electric into step back back here yep there's been there spikes that he likes going forward but got the shield out in time not lose the stock it's a good time huh you know he's set up at ledge again let's see if we're uh oh he's fine to kill with it neutral got up into the grenade i like how tricky focus is being jumping on and off the platform shooting all of his projectiles you don't know where he's gonna be and what he's trying to cover exactly and you also don't know really what projectile is coming out too sometimes he's a very good life trapping waiting for about the air dodge frame trap poked is definitely doing a lot of his dashback options trying to catch approaches from riddles catching the landings with the jabs getting them at ledge again like the shield shooting grenade back with the laser looked really funny but it was really smart too guess it's something to look out for riddles does like stalling with his lasers so making sure your uh grenades specifically aren't being hit by the lasers so maybe not throwing out the uh grenades if he hasn't lasered off stage yet this is smart adaption folks he's gonna make to not have that happen again all right lots of jobs here from polk cheese just to try and get kazuya off of him yeah there's the laser now you can set up the grenades safely dodging village getting hit by it that's the grenade very very nice placement there from folk cheese both players on their last stock although pogchi's in a bit rough state yep stand alive the laser snipe off stage going to seal game one for riddles the first stop was very unfortunate still pretty solid for riddles but both players definitely had their times just destroying the other in advantage state absolutely and poaches was down 3-1 was able to bring it back to last stock so that is one thing i'm sure he's made some adaptations for next game to see some uh some tekken music here on the fd i think what we need to see more from focus as well is just a lot more zoning just really kind of just don't push the pace yeah i i think he was doing a fine job he was again doing a lot of his dashback options but i think he also was definitely doing a lot of like dashback melee options yeah and maybe just going a bit further back and just using the projectiles in the first place if that's what you think you should be doing they're not getting the spike nice perry they're from riddles to get more off of it almost a kill yep jumping barely not getting hit by that up there there that's a reflector it is a reflector she's got like one move that's a reflector and that's the one well there it is pokes look very surprised by that one see riddles here at ledge sneaking under that grenade with that move all right good attempt on the cross up however riddles does see that it has a combo of his own here yeah it's just like a almost like an electro magnetic push back or something so weird oh okay little that ledge but nice focus didn't get time to set up his stuff all right super armor through that missile too so he tried to go for the kick again all right we got up smash edge car scenario blades are coming out reverse which means he can set up the grenades now if he wants but he's just he's just shooting these grenades i've been calling the mines grenades i should call it mines all right so both players are two stocks piece again pogchi's significantly higher than riddles i think for at these lower percents he's not i'm just seeing it that one time but committing to charging projectiles after you've only hit him back a tiny bit of distance is very committal and can lead to a big punish trying to go for maybe an abstraction misinforming or yeah this is what i'm talking about kind of just keeping the position lots of projectiles not pushing the envelope more than he needs to smash but not gonna get the punish the uh classic attack spot dodge master time yep turtle's not getting hit by it going in for this melee option now up close and personal back throw into uh mine set number projectiles again the grenades were really working for him at large but he didn't really use any there which let rebels get back i think and there's another grenade nice dodging of the projectiles here big damage here for riddles coming in 76 combo into the rage dive that is really good but it's not a strong one but the the cannon kick will seal it 2-0 for riddles folks is getting some of his stuff going but he didn't find a kill with it as much near the end just trying to think didn't get the kill with it as much near the end i think he's just having a hard time setting up in the first place once he gets it going it's going really well but just setting up in the first place was hard about sword fighter okay i do like this pick a lot of good spacing with chakram i'm assuming down throw up there okay not quite going to connect with the upper gonna try it again and does connect yep this is going to be a bit of a different game life trapping tools are not going to be nearly as strong but let's see if he can still get his stuff going with the left trapping unfortunate sd yeah but that is what focus needs to get himself uh feeling good about this matchup getting that narrow spikes into the f-smash is gonna kill i don't know if that was true or not i could never really be blown back by that pokeys is a very expressive player and i love to see all it down to the forward area there it is tornado tornado option and got the jump i would almost go down to see and uh see how down air interacts with that lp yeah i feel like he played friendly she probably knows this is possibly yeah probably knows if it's a bad option or not see the downer there guys could catch tornado later stall oh there we go there it is but immediately pressed up knowing that it doesn't have a strong hit yeah forget my advice sorry pokeys i guess that doesn't work that well 33 off the range dive let's see if pokeys can find this kill but looking around that was unfortunate interaction could have gotten the kill there but these moves are just sending poachies off stage when riddles is already off stage yeah such strange hitboxes too pushing him off to the left now pogba's isn't disadvantaged finds his way back though got riddles off stage again can he get this stuck trying with the chakrams but not getting them to connect reading the jump with the back air quick 3-0 for riddles again i mean i don't feel like you didn't play you know terribly it's just you got hit yeah sorry to get some stuff
