Getting JIGGY with it (Old Skool Style)

[Music] i got a lot of questions about my jig set up at santee and yes we're at lake forking you got a lot of road noise but i'm gonna break it down for you my jig set up for santee everybody knows i like old-school jigging when i say old school jigging i'm talking about heavy weed guards try not to hang up jigs the best i can get the old-school rubber just round flat rubber just this plain nothing real fancy this is a boss bait set up this is a half ounce jig by boss baits they make some really good stuff you can put together the skirts by all terrain it's just og brown i really like that setup it's just kind of natural and somebody was asking a lot of questions about how i rigged it so i got my plane jig right here this is a mag finesse form landing in my boat i bite about that much of it off thread it up on the hook you may ask gee why what g says why is this keeps the chunk down in place so i'll push this up on the keeper just a little green pumpkin glue then i got my chunk right here this is a zone this is just the regrow big salty chunk tip the leg chartreuse come back in and just skin hook it on you got a really nice big bulky jig but it's got a nice flow sometimes in the fall like at santee when the fish are not super active they don't want a lot of hey swimming stuff they kind of want it slow lethargic and that's it that's my go-to jig set up old school brown old school black i don't get real fancy with it but there you go y'all wondering what the piece of rubber for simply to keep the jig chunk down and in place if you you're making a skip like a santee i'm going to throw up under some bushes and under cypress trees you don't want your chunk flopping all the way back up here it just keeps it pushed down and in place you notice i trimmed the weed guard off at an angle that's 22 pound sun line i had it on an old 13 prototype flipping stick i just let you know what's coming baby just 13 prototype flipper sticks we might just call it like the tree knocker the tree knocker getting that whoop up on the head so there y'all go try that on your jig set up you
