Geometry Dash's PROGRESSION mods!

Geometry Dash progression is pretty simple you start off with the main levels where you beat level 1 2 3 all the way up until Level 22 then you can either move on to beating as many levels as you can or Rising through the ranks of demons starting with easy demon going to medium hard insane and finally extreme demon but when it comes to in-game progression that's pretty much as far as it goes but what if you wanted more well geode has an ads for you if you somehow haven't heard about it geode is the best and biggest mod loader for geometry Das of all time ever it's got so many really really cool mods including a bunch of mods that help you with progression and just recently I installed a few of them and today I want to take a look at them and see what they're all about how much do these progression mods really add to Geometry Dash let's see all right so I'm in my geode page here and I have a few progression mods that I installed quite a while ago those being the gddp integration the grandpa demon and the IDS integration which I'll show you what those do later in the video but for now I want to download a brand new one that has just come out very recently let's see if we can find it here better progression here it is yeah so this Mod's made by Keo who I believe is the same person who made Grandpa demon but this is very very cool so this uses like an XP system I think I don't know I've never seen this before I just thought it sounded really cool and so I want to give it a go and typ for the screen to go black ooh oh look at that tear up oh okay so I'm tier 61 and the XP but dude that is a nice animation these geode mods are so polished it's crazy so does that show yeah okay so that shows in the profile here that's really clean actually oh and then you can see how much xp you have from each thing so the most amount of XP I have is from Stars it looks like so each things give you a different amount of XP okay interesting so how much do I need for the next tier I wonder 6,200 okay so I need an extra like thousand I want to try and see if I can get to the next level in this video I think that could be quite cool so how can I get a th000 ooh it's going to take a while so demons give you 75 and stars each give you five so that would be a demon would give you 50 XP for the stars and then 75 for the demon count okay so i' only have to beat five demons if I get the coins as well okay should we try oh yeah I might try and do that it would be really cool if like higher demon difficulties would give you more XP so like extreme demons would give you like 2,000 XP whereas an easy demon would give you just a 75 I feel like that would be really cool because that would definitely like give more of a reason to R stuff like insane demons right so I think that would be a really cool feature that's like the only thing I think would be nice but uh let's just look at okay yeah so this is a grandpa demon thing you can see there's a few extra demon difficulties now Supreme demon ultimate demon legendary demon Mythic demon infinite demon and Grandpa demon no way so I could just like search for these right and these are like really really hard blood lust yeah okay so these are all like blood lust difficulty and that's like not even the highest here I've beaten a couple Supreme demons I had to look at those if I just go completed extremes here you can see yeah bloodbath is a supreme demon so I beaten how many 1 2 3 4 yeah okay I've beaten four Supreme demons okay that's not terrible so I might try and beat an ultimate demon today no not doing a new hardest right now I don't think that's going to happen but yeah I I don't know I really like the idea of having extra demon difficulties like before this mod I was like no I don't really think that's a good idea but now it's like o it's kind of cool actually um but also we have this thing here and this is part of the gddp one which is pretty much like if you know the gddp the Geometry Dash Geometry Das demon progression that's the one yeah it's pretty much that but in Geometry Dash itself so like we can go and view the tears and these are like easy and insane demons and we can go in and like play these easy and insane demons right from here and try and like beat them right this one I beat just recently and it's like very cool I really liked this level so monthly packs damn okay there's actually like quite a few features in this yeah the gddp progression like built-in thing very cool definitely going to give me more of a reason to play gddp levels but um yeah I also got the IDS integration which just shows sometimes doesn't seem to show for all insane demons but yeah you can see like suponic is rated as an easy insane where's one that would be a bit harder probably a Cress yeah a Cress is like medium you can see and this is all taken from like a spreadsheet so that that's pretty cool it also shows like what difficulty it is so ais's timings very neat I do like that one but um yeah anyway I think we should probably try and beat some easy demons with coins should we before we do that though I've got some more mods to show you so the first one I believe will be in the profile yeah so you can see these little arrows here this is from the stat changes mod and I don't know what the time frame is but it shows you like how many stars and moons you've gained recently I think yeah in the last 1 to 4 weeks okay interesting so you can go and like see I don't know how many stars smiy gained a lot so yeah that's a stat changes mod and I also noticed this here which is oh okay so this is the geometry ddon letter which is a website that you can go to I guess this shows the spread of all of the deons I've beaten so I'm guessing this is like the easiest tier yeah so like the nightmare the lightning Road you know all of these kind of levels these are all the ones that I've beaten I guess and then you can see I have less and less and I'm guessing this one is just ethereal artifice there it is that's cool so you can actually like see your spread of difficulty that you've beaten I've beaten 29 difficulty 16 what's that okay that's like easy insane I guess so I wonder can you search for levels there somewhere yes so in here oh my let's do T 34 to 35 can I search that yeah so it's like silent club step slaughterhouse abyss of darkness and these are infinite demons oh my okay that's very dark okay and then I guess this will bring me onto the next thing which is covered a little bit by this but that's okay okay so I've just disabled the gdl integration mod just so we can actually see the things here so like requested difficulty 10 I guess that means 10 Stars so like demon yeah okay oh you can see the featured rank as well and the game version that's really cool actually on my best attempt I got 26 Clicks in that's actually kind of crazy where did I get 12% and then Nelly 24 hours in the editor that's cool I can I see that for my created levels if I go to like what the base here can I see no it doesn't look like it shows me damn I'd have to upload it I'm really curious to see how long I've spent in this level okay hi so I'm just editing this video right there's this mod called better info which I actually used to have installed before 2.2 I had it like in 2.1 there's like the buy button here where you can search like GD World featured levels and stuff which is kind of cool but also if you go to your created levels you can see how long you spent in the editor so for those you were curious including me okay 16 hours that's not terrible that's like usually how long it takes me to finish a level out of like the featured levels I have made and what the base isn't quite done yet but we're getting there um but yeah better info also shows like progresses and stuff so it's a very very cool mod definitely recommend that one but I didn't find that somehow I don't know anyway I'm with the rest of the video it's always cool to see how long levels have taken like 12 hours I'm sure if we go to my profile oh my God Gregory challenge took 6 minutes I wonder if for level like sky is the limit yeah okay so like 2 and a half was on that one oh yeah that really confused me for a second okay there's another mod I installed but solar took me nearly 19 hours I think solar took me the most amount of time out of any of my levels so far game version pre 1.7 this was definitely not made in Pre 1.7 I think there's something bugging out with that yeah okay so tough yeah so Seven Stars is now tough and that is the extra difficulties mod so if you feel like you know you feel a little bit ripped off because both six-star and seven star is harder you know you're going from six star to seven star and it's the same difficulty well good news there's now casual which is four star there's tough as you've seen and there's cruel as well oh my God that demon face looks so weird so that's the extra difficulties mod I don't know if I'm going to keep that one around but I don't know it's kind of cool something else I want to see I don't know if I can find any of those is like happy flying on there why does it have hords happy flying really old level this essentially a long drawn out ship challenge so can actually like click the demon when it's underrated and it's got like an extra set of horns which looks really weird when it's like got the cruel face there but oh well okay so another mod I installed is the treasure checklist mod and okay I guess that adds a button here oh okay so this shows you the rewards from each chest that you've gotten or haven't gotten yet okay no way I only have one more icon to get from the 10 key chest that's crazy oh no that never mind that means I've only gotten one this this makes it really easy to see like what icons you get from what chests which is actually really nice cuz it can be hard to know sometimes right this is a very very nice mod for progression it gives you like a checklist so like for the 50k chest which is what I've been trying to use the most recently you can see I've only got these two left to uncheck so it's like a bit of a checklist of icons which I think is really really nice and I think that if I find one of those icons in here let's just see if we can do that like this guy in a secret chest but then you can see it's in the one key chest okay that's really cool actually oh and I can checkbox it to scene in my own colors that's cool I do really really like that okay that's a really cool mod actually I'm going to keep that around all right and then another mod that I found which we might lump the last one in as well is the all raed extreme demon list so if I just search for extreme demons here and just you know search you can see that next to all of these it says like number 440 that's not a 400 847 on the all rated extreme demon list and it actually shows like this is a beginner demon so you can see like come on you know what this is yeah we all know cataclysm that's really cool actually and then like retention this is like an easy EX dream so it's there and then what's like a harder one Prismatic this is hard apparently cool I think the highest should be ethereal right yeah 344 this is remorseless yeah so that's really handy to see as well actually so if I just search cuz I accidentally search completed if I just search for extremes here right first of all we can see like what tier all of these are in which is really nice but then also I can look at this and know that okay the ultimate phase is generally considered to be easier than Hypersonic cuz you can see it there right and there's also an all rated extreme demons list button in the menu here I guess this ranks them all in order there's like also a random button where I can go to a random Page and Play like Cub or I can go to the last page and play some of the easiest extremes which one of them's now an insane demon okay that's very cool I do like that okay well yeah that is pretty much all of the mods that I found that are progression related and so now I think it's about time we beat a few demons in order to rank up actually I do really want to beat cut deep yeah let's beat this one first I think okay that was very dodgy but oh well I got there in the end I beat it now what's the animation when you beat a level I wonder is there one ah I see okay cool so it adds down the bottom there that's nice I really like that be you really like I really like this level this level is really cool okay so that was like a very specific one I wanted to beat now I want to try o I want to do some with coins do I want to do a platformer I I don't know man platformer levels are fun but I want do some more like classic levels because I don't know I just kind of prefer them so let's give this one to go hopefully the coins aren't that bad and hopefully there's not text on the screen saying foreshadowing right now coin one collected coin two collected and coin three collected all right and level complete as well true nice okay that was a really fun one I I did like that one man two very like intense levels today okay let's see what the animation looks like with the coins look at it go up dude dude oh it's pretty satisfying actually I do like that okay let's play this one as well first coin collected second coin collected and was the last one a free coin let's find out hey it was okay cool diminution oh this is a moldy level oh I was like why have I played this before this is cuz I literally play tested this level okay that would do it all right mold your coin placements good let's find out okay first coin got it okay cool okay second coin got as well nice oh okay nice got that one as well okay oh man the coins in this level are actually hard and they they're good I I do actually really like the coins in this level complete hey and we unlocked a wave ooh getting close to the 6,000 Mark okay yeah boom um I think we only need to beat two more demons and then we should be just about good all right now constellation by azui azui it's not that hard to pronounce bro ooh this is cool I like this I like this level immediately the feel of this level and the structuring is really nice as well like look at the structuring in this part oh man I've spent so much time experimenting with structuring but I need to spend more somehow dude structuring is just one of those things okay we mini first coin collected nice second coin collected no I didn't get the last coin are you serious okay you know what that's fine it's all right it's okay this level is definitely the hardest to beat out of all of them so far like that took a while oh we're getting close though we're getting close we need 90 how much more do we need yeah we need like 990 more XP can I get away with that with just a demon yeah okay so I can just beat any demon I want and then get that XP okay cool um I might do a gddp one then yeah let's go to here let's do a bronze demon to finish it off may as well do a medium demon uh which one do I want to do I might do can't Le vul I wanted to beat this like ages ago but I never got around to it cuz it was week weekly demon for one at one point jeez and it seems really fun kind of difficult because it is a medium demon but but um yeah this is like very flow like gameplay which is kind of interesting nice okay oh that took a little while and I got a little bit unlucky with that but honestly it was pretty fun that was a pretty fun level I did enjoy that one would I say it's my favorite medium demon maybe not but oh my God tear up woohoo now we're level 62 yeah all that work for that hey you know what I'll take it 179 attempts that's not too bad all things considered all right cool get another bronze demon complete now it's 19 out of 25 cool and collect our diamonds and yeah I think that's pretty much it for this video if there are any other these mods I think they're really interesting and add a lot to the game and just I don't know give a little bit of extra motivation for just beating levels and I guess progressing through the game you know gives you an extra motivator like even just seeing like this supreme demon existing I'm like damn I want to beat more bloodbath difficulty levels now you know anyway I think I'm going to go ahead
