Gaussian Splatting After Effects Tutorial

hi everyone it is m from.com in this tutorial I will show you how to create animations like this with GA spling spottin using scans from Luma laabs AI okay you need to click here and click here Goan splot and save your file the folder after download is complete uh just unzip this file and we have file with extension pli okay I'm going to open Adobe after effect first we need to import this file to After Effects okay composition new composition full HD 10 seconds okay let's set names for this Fus I will put this P file in composition and create a new solid let's call it go g platin okay next here we can type g spatting g spa and with this layer selected can double click on it uh next you can turn off this layer turn off rendering on this layer uh enroll model one and in section model select P file it can take couple seconds next I can create a new [Music] camera and this camera controls I can turn around here first uh first we need to align our model we can show pirot in this case it's almost on the center I can move pivate to the top and J transform little bit here so next step is we need to crop our model to remove theground we have this uh section crop uh we can turn off pivot in the crop section we have crop shape we have crop shape enabled and crop shape preview okay so we have this shape we need to increase size and move it a little bit [Music] up we have uh two shape types sphere and box so it can be can use box or Sphere for different reasons and can after crop shape is properly set you can turn off shap preview also we have crop y plane you can remove this Splats here okay now croing looks good little bit okay looks good we can uh transform section you can animate rotation something like that and we have we can animate like this next uh we have section effects let's show you noise section can enable noise and noise shape preview same principle we can increase shape size and move it to to the top okay and I have noce ramp it's how is noise effect uh long this radius uh we need uh change noise settings noise scale we increase a little [Music] bit okay you can noise amplitude increase noise amplitude and add some animation to Evolution [Music] let let's increase a little bit okay it's moving and next you can animate shape position shape position or we can uh animate noise shape size or shape position let's start with shape size zero uh we can move uh shape position a little bit here to start from this and increase size okay we have this nice reveal animation okay we can uh disable noise for for a second I'll show you another you have color Splat let's enable it here the same you can enable shape preview and increase size uh and we have to color gradient and color ramp and uh blending mode so we can so this uh ramp is um is Alpha from this to this we can adjust any color say just uh orange to Black now let's set to say blue increase fer so we have we can change uh blend M to add we can animate this another feature another feature is Splat scale uh we have splot FR can Max scale to six and splot [Music] opacity increase size so we can animate Splat apacity first and then Splat size we can use use this [Music]
