Lol on LinkedIn a entry level wanted a CPA. Not in process but completed.
Every time I see this guy's videos it just makes me wish I had gone to a coding bootcamp. -_-
I've been keeping a casual eye out for a little over a year for another job.
Specifically I have been looking at Municipal Management (Town Manager, Chief Administrative Officer). So over the last year, I have probably seen most Town Manager and CAO job posting in the country (Canada).
There is a pretty standard set of requirements that scale with the size of the city. So a capital city needs a Master's and at least 10 years managing another city. A farming community wants an undergrad, CPA and 5 years of government work ect.
Sometimes there are really vauge requirements (Must be a good leader who can rise to a challenge) and other times there are incredibly specific requirements (Must hold a certificate from the South Dakota Municipal Manager Institution) which usually means that they are grooming the requirements for a certain person.
However the best ones are small towns who don't understand their competitiveness. I have seen one town in the middle of nowhere who was paying like $60k, re-post their Town Manager job every single month with less and less requirements each time. At first they wanted someone who had 20 years experience at a bigger city and wanted to end their career in their community.... Then it was any other current town Manager.... Then it was any director in a capital city. Then it was an director in any city. Then manager ect...
I believe they are currently at "a mammal with a pulse".
