Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Finally! Golden Freddy being the thumbnail makes sense!
Man some people in this sub still got venom for matpat don't they? Wild.
Meh on the idea that Cassidy isn’t GF but he gives a good summary of the book and once again people are blowing things up into “MatPat bad give upvotes”.
He mentions literally zero about DevonHell where are people getting this from.
Actually loved this video! The summaries were good as usual, his ideas on 1:35 AM and RFOM were interesting and made sense, and his New Kid speculation was also great, he brought up a lot of interesting points that I've noticed for a while but barely seen anyone discuss.
...he's... actually legitimately learning! Also, the fact he might even be suggesting Golden Victim/Golden Both is...thank you
Matpat bad!!! Me no like Mikebot!!! Freddit assemble!!
Seriously Matpats theories aren't always right (cough cough Mikebot) but he's a genuinely good guy and his videos are always entertaining. I don't know where freddit got it's Matpat hate boner, and frankly the hivemind is kind of frustrating. Matpat has helped play such a big role with scott even directly communicating with him yet people dismiss his ideas instantly because some of his theories are shakey.
Jesus the comments on this subreddit make me want to bash my skull into a wall. You guys really are blissfully ignorant aren't you. If anyone actually took away DevonHell from that theory I question how literally you take stuff.
As for the theory itself, I'm a little bit mixed on it. I think the connection from Ella to the other books is a bit interesting. And I actually think it's possible that these books are somehow connected to the original trilogy of novels.
Henry literally cried into the Ella doll which gave it life. Elizabeth literally says that the doll was brought to life from Henry's agony. That's what William was after in that whole book. He wanted to know how to give something life without using a soul. Or more specifically, he wanted to know how to give something agony and make way for his soul to go inside it.
Eleanor is very similar to the name Ella. And in TFC Baby is the fourth version of Ella. Is it possible TFC Baby is actually Eleanor? That would connect all of these stories and explain why this specific Ella that Delilah has is cursed with agony. Henry put his sadness into the doll. He literally cried into the doll and that's how it was brought life. I think there's a possibility that these Fazbear Frights take place after The Fourth Closet. Why would Baby even die by the blade from the suicide bot if Charlie survived just fine? Maybe I'm looking into things too deeply but it's definitely worth considering.
I disagreed with almost everything he said for Room For One More. That story wasn't a parallel to Ennard at all. It's a parallel to Night 4 of Sister Location where Minireenas "crawl inside a suit" that's big enough for one person only. It's not possible that they climb inside the suit if Mike can barley fit inside, so it's more likely they climb inside his mouth. That would explain why we hear the sound of guts on night 5.
Warning this next part is super speculatory. If you don't like ideas that contradict your own, I suggest you stop reading here cause I'm about to go into Speculation Land. None of these ideas are fully fleshed out, so beware.
I've also made the connection between Kelsey and TOYSHK before, but it's still very confusing to think about. It's clear Matpat does not literally think Kelsey from The New Kid is Golden Freddy. That's impossible as this is most likely in a different universe from the games. It's all about parallels. And what Matpat pointed out was a parallel between TOYSHK and Kelsey. And I think there's more merit to that than one would think.
It's clear Kelsey has some tie to Golden Freddy somehow. He's not just some random kid who got springlocked. I think it's possible that he's a type of projection from Golden Freddy. Or he's actually a spirit tagging along with the curly haired kid.
That part about Cassidy and Kelsey both possessing GF really got me thinking. And it got me thinking about the amount of victims William claimed.
First off, in the Toy Chica Highschool cutscenes she kills 7 people. Those cutscenes are an obvious parallel to William killing the kids as one of the victims is lured in by using a dead dog to the kid's advantage. That's literally how Susie died. So if this is a parallel to the original murders, why are there 7?
Charlie, Gabriel, Fritz, Jeremy, Susie, and the child who becomes GF (Cassidy, but I know that name makes people angry), all make sense, but why a 7th victim? I originally wrote it off as just something meaningless. Maybe it's Mike who knows. But there are 2 other times we heard the number 7 be referred to for dead people.
In Into the Pit there are 7 dead bodies Oswald sees. Not 5 or 6, but 7. A little weird sure, but in Curse of Dreadbear the number 7 is used again. There are 7 gravestones in the place where you go when you die.
Could this 7th child be a parallel to Kelsey somehow? This would make the term "The One You Shouldn't Have Killed" make a lot more sense. There's supposedly 5 missing children plus Charlie. So this 7th child wasn't supposed to be killed. He wasn't supposed to be killed because he's not mentioned anywhere. It's always 5 children for 5 robots. What Animatronic would this 7th child become? It's possible him and Cassidy (oh god I said the C word) both became GF.
This would explain the curly hair. It's a parallel to Cassidy. It isn't literally Cassidy, but it's her from an alternate universe of sorts. Cassidy literally means curly hair. This is just a parallel to connect the name Cassidy with Golden Freddy.
These are all just spitball ideas btw. I'm still debating what to think, but I do think the idea of 7 victims is an interesting one. And I hope it gets answered in Coming Home.
The theory is more of a recap of the 1:35 AM stories while also connecting them to Sister Location (1:35 AM & Room For One More) and questioning the identity of Golden Freddy (The New Kid). It's certainly interesting and, in my opinion, one of MatPat's better theories, if not the best so far.
First of all, I enjoyed the video. I'm kinda bummed he's doubting GoldenCassidy, but... that's the second thing.
Cassidy or not, the idea of Golden Freddy is still the same. The fifth missing child. I know FNaF lore is never easy, but what exactly can make some theorists doubt about the fifth missing child being Golden Freddy?
