Edit: You know what? I'm not done. This pisses me off so much. They had the audacity to criticize Cogman's first draft of episode 2 because apparently he wrote a longer dialogue for Jaime and Bran. And according to these two smartasses, that was unnecessary. But this is exactly what this season would've needed. More dialogue! Oh this explains so much. They're surrounded by fucking yes-men because nobody can ever question them or their writing.

Barristan was supposed to be a better swordsman than Jaime. That’s really messed up.
The way they massacred my boy Barristan still irks me. He was one of the better characters on the show, and is apparently still alive in the books. As a matter of fact, his death might actually be the moment the show started to turn to shit. It didn't become shit overnight, but I think right around that time was the beginning of the decline.

TIL that not only they are bad writers, bad at logic and bad at keeping up with their own storyline but they’re also smug assholes.
Jep and don't forget that some of these actors are quite young and want to continue on in the business. You don't want to be known as a hard to work with actor so i get that most just let it happen and move on.
