lesson god bless you Saints citizens and soldiers of the Most High God I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you when to welcome you back to another Bible study another broadcast my name is Clarence I'm pastor of united body of Christ Church which is our online ministry and again on behalf of my family and myself we welcome you to this Bible study a brand new book coming at you today today we are teaching out of Galatians and we've had a request for this book not too long ago but we always let the Lord lead and guide us to when we'll get to the books people a lot of people do make requests but our our answers are always as such we follow the Lord's leading and guy and today we've been led where we've been led into the book of Galatians 2 to teach out of it so it's a short book but a very strong and powerful book and I'm really looking forward to get it in there and I'm gonna get looking forward to God helping us to understand what's been going on I always pray that we get a chance to draw closer that we become weaponized by knowing his word and holding fast to his word it's important for us to know our rights of the you know as children of the kingdom belongs it to the Most High God and His Word helps us to know what to do and what not to do amen so to God be the glory ie God as always we like to go before the Lord in prayer our Father thou art in heaven and Hollow Earth be thy name thy kingdom comes thine will be done upon this earth as your will is done in heaven give unto us this day our daily bread Lord God we ask that you would forgive us of our sins forgive us of our depths of our transgressions we ask that you would forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who have come up against us your majesty lead us not into temptation but deliver us from all evil for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory now and forevermore in Jesus name father we pray Lord God we take this opportunity to say thank you as we come before you with bowed down heads and with humble hearts regardless of the things that are going on in this world and the things that are happening around us within society we still find peace in your presence and with that Lord God we say thank you we say thank you even for the Lord Jesus Christ who is our high priest in heaven he is also our intercessor he is our pastor and our Redeemer he is the one that have made it possible for us to walk with you Lord God he is our Redeemer the shepherd and the Bishop of our souls and we received the truth that he is your only begotten Son therefore Lord God it is in his name and we come before you and it is because of him that we are able to give praise and thanks to you Lord father we thank you for drawing us near some of us have known about you but have not made the decision to walk with you and now far though as we begin to see the depletion of society the morality as we begin to see the the fear of others Oh God the panic the hoarding there every man for himself the love of many waxing cold as we begin to witness these things we find ourselves drawing near God because we know that Jesus draws near Lord God and Father we acknowledge that we are flawed and that we need a lot of work but we are happy to be on this journey with you and we thank you for allowing us to walk with you as broken as we can be as scarred as tainted as we can be we are eager and willing and ready to allow your spirit to come inside and to purge us from all infirmities from all iniquities for all sin that has abound in our lives Oh God we're looking forward for the divine and holy purge we're looking forward to surrender to your will into your spirit and to your every command Lord God teach us how to pray teach us how to stand still when the wind is blowing so strong about us and around us teach us Father how to stand on faith when so many reports are trying to break it down father teach us how to hold on to your hand when so many things in this world is trying to pull us away from your presence Lord God keep us in your presence and in your power we find ourselves mere now own worst enemies oh god father sometime we find ourselves being double-minded in all of our ways but God I thank you I thank you because you revealed to us was broken about ourselves Oh God and yet you still give us a desire to be with you and you give us wisdom to understand that it's because you have a desire to be with us so God we say thank you and hallelujah thank you in hallelujah Lord father that you would have dysfunctional children a dysfunctional family Lord that you are willing to make right you are willing to work on us you are willing to have us aligned on the straight and narrow you are willing to have us abide in holiness you long suffer with us Lord God we see it and we thank you Lord Father the fact that we're praying the fact that we're opening the books and reading the scriptures Oh God the fact that we're acknowledging those things which are broken about us it is a testament to how you are mindful of us therefore we've become mindful of the way we walk with you so father those that have repented helped them to not turn back to their sins no matter how hard it gets help us to stay the course to stay on path oh god help us father to fill our lips with oil Lord God this is our desire in the name of Jesus Lord thank you for allowing us to come to this table that we can feast on your word that we can break bread with your Lord God understanding that man cannot live by bread alone but by every word which proceedeth out of the mouth of God so we thank you for allowing us to be seated at this table we thank you for allowing us to commune with you Father knowing that we are not perfect but yet your love and your long-suffering it abounds so god we thank you thank you for what will be and thank you for what he is Lord let your will be done let your spirit have his way inside of us that he may transform that the Spirit of God may transform us on the inside out father help us to lay upon that surgical table while your spirit operates hold us still Lord God no matter how it may hurt for for us to part with bad habits but help us Lord God to stay stay home and stay fast on our choice where we have chosen you this day because you first loved us help us to not give up and to not give in father I thank you I pray for so many God that so many Father that have come into the kingdom that have opened up the Bible for the first Father those that have always had a good heart but walked in misunderstandings and walked in rebellion father I pray in the name of Jesus father look after us individually and collectively have your way in our lives and I thank you for this word which we are about to receive thank you Father for the help that you've already given us the prayers that you've already answered the peace in which you've already imparted the understanding father that you've given us the knowledge father the desire to learn your word the things that you have already done and continue to do the blessings upon our households that our cabinets our refrigerator our bathrooms father everything in our homes is as we need it Lord and you've allowed it to be available God you see to it that there was shelter that there is raiment that there is rest that there is peace and provisions that there is protections Lord I say thank you for being such a good God wise and true loving full of compassion full of grace and full of mercy now Lord God I ask that you would help me help me with this lesson help me to declare your truth father helped me to impart understanding allow me to receive the understanding from you God and if you use me to impart it unto others Lord I would be willing to do and I thank you for the opportunity to serve thank you for being so generous for being so kind for being so mindful for being so forgiving understanding how we have been so rebellious but you haven't held it against us you've welcomed welcome all of us in what arms wide open they're only wise true God the God of Abraham of Isaac and of Jacob thank you for being that kind of a god thank you for this lesson which we are about to receive thank you for the knowledge of it even to be able to broadcast Lord God thinking thank you for the help that you've given us to publicize it I just thank you for making this word readily accessible it doesn't cost of our lives it are we have not been threatened Oh God we live at peace to be able to declare in peace thank you Lord God I think if all that you've done and that you continue to do in the name of Jesus Christ we pray amen again we are going into a new book today and it it touches my heart because God still allow us to serve Him to you he still allow us to worship Him I think this ministry has been broadcasting we've been doing Bible study maybe six years maybe even longer six years seven years I'm not sure but it touches my heart that God still allow us to do what we do to go forth and to read his word take time out to do it and he's just an awesome God because whatever you get a chance to receive as far as knowledge and understanding a closer walk same thing happens to us my family he he gives to us too you know as I'm serving the food I'm kind of eat enough to play as I'm serving you know so it's it's all good God is a good good God just a generous God so God is too chef the bread that God has prepared for us to break and receive that's that bread of life the Lord Jesus Christ was also the Word of God amen the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit has invited you your family my family and myself to come to this table to sub to look to open up this book and learn it it's that unction that we got to walk closer with God that's the invitation that comes from the Holy Ghost amen my wife and myself our job is to serve what God Himself has prepared for all of us to receive so to blow all glory be to the to the Father in heaven because again it's him that has prepared this it's him that has caused us to serve what he has prepared any understanding that you get any clothes 'no sand the walk that you have with god it's because of him amen so anyway without further ado we'll go right into the word this is coming out of the book of galatians chapter one now let me give you some backdrop here as we get into this new book and this is it's a short book but we'll make it do what to do right the Apostle Paul he was this is a letter that went out to the the Church of in Galatia and he's speaking with the Galatians and what's happening here is he had already he was already instrumental in establishing this body of Christ the Church of Galatia if you will he was already instrumental in in establishing setting up this place of worship and then word gets back to him that they they are fallen by the wayside there they some people stumbling blocks have come in and they're trying to convince the the church of Galatia that they have to the only way that they can be saved is not only the gospel that Paul is preaching but they have to they had to intertwine it with the with the mosaic laws so it's it did so it's called the the Goff that the the doctrine of the circumcision if you will because remember in Judaism you had to be circumcised Paul is preaching that God is no longer looking for circumcision of the body but circumcision of the heart and man he's looking for that inward breakthrough that's giving you an outward expression he's calling it the circumcision of the heart and not the circumcision of the loins amen and so you got people that have crept into this - this body of Christ and trying to become a stumbling block by giving the Gentiles to come over to Judaism or to merge Judaism with Christianity here is the problem with that here's why it's so bad because it's what it is is it's moving them towards legalism in in Christianity we have our Liberty not to use it as a cloak of maliciousness but we have our we have our Liberty in Christ Jesus - where we don't go and slaughter goats and and lambs and ox and sheep we don't do animal sacrifices we don't acknowledge our feast days we don't we don't look towards the Stars and the moon we don't do various things of the sort because we have a freedom a Liberty in Christ Jesus as a matter of fact the the very observance of the law of God is a deviation from our faith amen and the the observance of the laws of God is actually putting us in shackles or puts us in bondage so when you hear the term our Liberty in Christ Jesus is representing that we don't have to go by the laws that were written because the laws represent bondage and Paul breaks down in this book Paul is going to break down while gob even brought forth the law I don't know if we'll cover that today that's gonna be somewhere around either chapter 3 or chapter 4 but Paul brings to knowledge while the law was ever presented in the first place a man and really the law was just there as a placeholder so again Paulus is sending a letter to the Church of Galatia and because he heard that a lot of them and falling out the wayside because some some people have come in and trying to convert the the the the Gentiles to - to Judaism - the mosaic laws if you will and so Paul is rebutting that this is what this letter is about so I just wanted to give you a backdrop as to what's going on so you you won't be lost as we get into godly Galatians a man again this is a letter that Paul has sent to the church that was in Galilee shaaa so chapter 1 Galatians chapter 1 verse 1 Paul an apostle not of men that's a very very very important because what Paul is saying is men didn't lay hands on me when I got ordained as they I was first ordained as a as an evangelist and then later I was ordained as a as a pastor and then and then installed as a pastor a man and man had a lay man had a lay hands on me and ordered you know to do that amen Paul Apostle Paul is saying that no one had done that no one had to lay hands on him that Christ himself selected him personally and we'll get into that so this is really an interesting a book here Paul an apostle not of men neither by man but by jesus christ and god the father who raised him from the dead so he said that he's not man's choice he's God's choice through Jesus Christ and we'll where we'll revisit that whole name because it's very very powerful he says and all the brethren which are with me unto the churches of Galatia grace be unto so I said Church but it's actually churches he's he's making he's sending this letter to the church s the established bodies of Christ they're in Galatia so he goes on to say grace be to you and peace from God the Father from the Lord from our Lord Jesus Christ who gave himself for our sins that we that he might deliver that he might deliver us from this present evil this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father to whom be glory for ever and ever on man so again let me reread that he's talking about the Lord Jesus Christ who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father so that's what Jesus is constantly doing he's delivering us his he needed that one sacrifice of himself and that blood is enough to constantly deliver us amen so but we don't want to constantly find ourselves in a way of having to repeatedly be delivered from continual sins amen so we want to make sure that that once we repent we doing it once and for all and that we don't turn back and through Jesus Christ it's possible Amen it's possible verse six I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel which is not another but there are some that trouble and would pervert there some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ so he said after I was just there I was just there not too long ago in and y'all were doing so well and you well on your way and I was happy and just so proud of you and and now I'm gone and just like that you've fallen off the wayside and when I read that it kind of reminded me of scriptures that we're going to that we're going to take a look at here briefly but a lot of people when they come in to the body of Christ a lot of people right now are starting to to open the word up you know a lot of had opened it up before and never understood it and so they closed it back up but this time there are perilous times around us and among us the love of many has wax cold and and people know that something is going on people know that that whatever is happening and it's not good and they're wanting to get their houses in order and so the problem with some is because the times that we're living is living in is so severe people are they're forcing themselves to get into this word to learn to start walking to to try to get their houses in order but the problem is if there is a ray of sunshine that things can go back to the way it used to be people will follow that it has to be something that takes root inside you because the moment it seems like you're on this path the devil is sending out agents to trip you up this is what happened with the Church of Galatia the church the churches if you will in Galatia he sent out his agents working with people you know to stumble you to get you all worked up and to get you to fall away right and I'll give you scripture on that to show you because it's real interesting go with me to Matthew chapter 13 Matthew chapter 13 take a look at this this is the parable of the sower Matthew chapter 13 verses 1 through 9 to start Matthew chapter 13 verses one through nine to start the same day went Jesus out of the house and he sat by the seaside and great multitudes were gathered together unto him so that he went into a ship and he sat and the whole multitude they stood on the shore so he used the ship as a stage or as a platform while he ministered to the audience who was on the seashore and he spake many things unto them in parables saying behold a sower went forth to sow and when he sowed some seeds fell by the way side and the fowls of the air came and devoured them up some fell upon stony stony places where they had not much earth and went forth they sprung up and and forthwith I should say forthwith they sprung up because they had no deepness of earth and when the Sun was up they were scorched and because they had no root they withered away some fell among thorns and the thorns sprung up and they choked them but others fell into good ground and brought forth fruit some hundredfold some sixty fold and some thirtyfold who hath ears to hear let him hear drop down to verse 18 hear ye therefore the parable of the sword Jesus began to break down or translate what this parable mean and what it was saying verse 19 when any one heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart this is he which received seed by the wayside do you see that the enemy when when you hear something phenomenal concerning the kingdom but you haven't yet grasped is the full understanding you haven't really taken in the magnitude of its truth if you will you've heard it you've pondered it it really sounds good in picture interest it is captivating you but you but you really haven't we truly received its meaning its life a giving meaning but because it's there in its own your heart is on your mind to where you're meditating guess what here come the enemy look at what it says it says then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in the heart that is he which received it by the wayside maybe you're in a relationship and you go to the place of worship you get your praise on you heard the word of God and it's it and you needed to hear what you heard that day and when you hear it you like oh man that's deep and you start taking notes and you started writing down because you wanted you want to dig into that you want to want to go deeper into it because there's something there so you write it down and you your when you too much you get to to to home or wherever you're going you'll have that opportunity to look it up on your way there or even before you leave worship that day somebody says some do something your phone rang you see the message all of a sudden that's the enemy tapping you getting your attention maybe a spouse maybe a a a boyfriend or girlfriend maybe your children your neighbors won't know whoever the enemy can draw attention to to draw you away from it to distract you and what it's doing is it's taking it from the surface is it was land on the surface of your heart the ground on the surface the enemy is coming to trying to cover some dirt over it you know what or to try to pull it out or sweep it away through distractions that's how that works so that you don't really get a chance to grass this fool meaning a man maybe the bills maybe your job there's some distraction there and the end the enemy is behind it that's what the scripture is letting you know the enemy is behind it so that it doesn't have its proper place in you to liberate you a man so that's how that works but he that received and that kind of goes with what's going on with Galatians 2 where Paul said how youhow are you so soon removed and it's because the enemy has sent someone there to take it just like that look at this next verse but he that received the seed into stony places the same is he that heareth the word and anon anon means immediately and immediately was joy they received it and I'm happy about it oh man thank you he hath not root in himself but in but endure for him Wow for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word by and by he is offended this is powerful let me tell man this is a heavy verse the cultivation of the Word of God it's that when the when the word is sown in your heart it's that seed that's sown and if in the ground of your heart the cultivation process includes trial and tribulation and it says for the word sake trial and tribulation is used to cultivate that seed look at look at what it says there but he's not received with the seed and stony places the same is he that heareth the word and immediately with joy receiveth it and yet he hath not root in himself but but doeth or endure for now for when tribulation or persecution arises why because of the word cultivate the tribulation and or persecution those things are used to cultivate that word inside of you so that means guess so so basically what it means is if you take the word you're going to be a target you're going to be attacked if you receive that word you're going to bootcamp that's the best what the word is saying that's what the pact is you're going to bootcamp you just got your ticket when you receive the word you receive the ticket to God's boot camp and the enemy is going to try to trip you up you received it you happy you bought into it but all of a sudden you bailed out because they got too hard for you it got too hard you bought into it but you gave in you stopped standing by faith you see you start going back to the old ways of doing things you stop believing God and you started going out there to see what you can do to make some things happen you went oh you fill away a man and that's that's powerful because you got to understand something when you and and this is really for a lot of new Saints amen a lot of people that that are transitioning out of the world and coming into the kingdom you and once you buy into it once you understand the truth you really buy into it and you really commit to it you become a target okay and because you've sown the word it cultivates persecution tribulation if it's meant to cultivate that word to make you stronger and to get you to see that God has your back the best way for you to understand that God has your back is through trial and tribulation if everything is going good for you it's hard for you to see that God has your back you know because everything is good but when trial and tribulation come you really get a chance to see how powerful your faith is if you hang in there but a lot of people are not used to hanging in there and a lot of people come in to the faith thinking that man that's a honeymoon you know I'm finally I finally arrived you know now life is easy no one who told you that life has just begun now who told you if he's not going to he's not going to burn you down and make it heavy so that you can't move but your muscles got to get your muscles of faith got to get worked out you have to use some faith muscles that you haven't exercised before and it's it's it's exposing your your your faith through some trial and tribulation that's what's going to strengthen your faith amen and that's some powerful stuff earnest and what he said that some people can't make the cut some people come on out of the world and come into the kingdom and then they think that you know now I made it easy you haven't arrived in heaven you own your way there but you ain't there yet so you you're not at the point of rest yet okay you're being retooled you know so that you can work easy but you're not at the point that you can fully rest ultimately you shall have your rest but you got to work to get rest and when the work starts people start falling off the chart because they're not used to this there's like manet I didn't know it was gonna be this way you know I'm ready I'll keep waiting on God and it makes them make something happen and ain't none happen I might as well go out there myself so people fall off on the wayside because of that and they said that that's the stony ground so let's continue to read here we'll get back to Galatians he said he also he says verse 21 ya have no root in himself but endure for a while for when tribulation of prosecution arises persecution rather arises because of the word by and by he is offended he is insulted he also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word and the cares of this world the deceitfulness of riches choke the word and becometh unfruitful so the application the sewer 1 out of 4 prospered 1 out of 4 there was various reasons why the others why the other vegetations failed if you will be unemployed the other planting and sowing why it failed 1 for 25% is what made it through the cut and become and start growing riches when people hear the word and all of a sudden they started getting blessed because they understand how this thing worked and then all of a sudden they see the blessings and the favor because they was able to hang in there while all of a sudden they get tripped up because the enemy knows that that favor has fallen upon them so the enemy is doing what they can to to get you called it start tempting you with riches of this world instead of you see you got you got blessed because you understood it to start putting your treasures in heaven but the enemy start convincing you that it was more special and more prosperous to have your treasures here on earth so you start pursuing these treasures on earth instead of putting them up in heaven you got them here on earth and you're working for vain things and before you look before you know it you've lost your way because you started you lost contentment that's usually the first thing that go is you start losing contentment you know and you you you start wanting many things when you stop putting things in heaven and before you know you don't feel off the side you started doing everything right that's why you're in a position to prosper but then all of a sudden your eyes took instructions from your belly and and you started having an appetite that couldn't be satisfied unless you had more and more and more and that's how the enemy trips you up so one in four and this is a an important message for those servants of the Most High when you go minister to people everyone is not going to receive what you say and according to the scripture if you do the math you go talk to four family members maybe one will hear it and you'll see the you'll see the harvest come come through their life but it's it's it's not a you know that's it's a hard Jawa you not to take personal though well going back to Galatians Paul minister to them he the Lord used him to set the place up and what did the enemy do send somebody over there to break it apart in that and so Paul begins to acknowledge that and say man how are y'all so soon turned back so look at what he says here I marvel that you're so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel another way to be saved when he said another gospel he's saying that they're telling you there is another way to be saved okay which is not another but there are he says but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Jesus Christ that's what they are meant to do they are meant to provoke the gospel to make it say to tell you that it don't take that you know that that that's not the way this is the way okay but though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed look at what he says here but though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you then let him be accursed question to you is 10 angels can Ain our angels entrusted with the gospel are can't will angels preach the answer is yes and we will look up scripture on that hold your place there and go with me to Revelation let's take a look at chapter 14 verses 6 through 7 Revelation chapter 14 verses 6 through 7 look at what this is now he says I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven now he's the first angel that he saw flying I believe is in Chapter 8 keep your place there I just let me verify here ok it's a yeah Revelation chapter 8 and 13 is first angel you don't have to turn to it I just read it for you real quick he says and I beheld and I heard an angel flying through I and I beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying what the loud voice whoa whoa whoa so that's the first angel that he saw now Revelation chapter 14 is this is the second and here's where we really want to tie it in and I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation and kindred and tongue and people saying with a loud voice fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment has come and worship Him that made heaven and earth and the Seas and the fountains of waters so the angels do there is going to come a time when the angels will preach and this is a powerful scripture and I'm going to tell you why I look at it as such because at the end of the day God is opening up the supernatural if you will he's taking the veil off the eyes so that you can see why would the angel go through flying and preaching if no one would be able to hear or see them so at some point in time the supernatural will will be seen in the natural and people will be able to hear and see an angel and that tells me that God is pulling out all stops to save any to save any and all who wants to be saved God will spare no expense he will spare no power to save those who want to be saved so much so that he is going to entrust an angel to proclaim the gospel the gospel that Jesus is Lord and he is king of kings and Lord of lords and that you can have eternal life if you don't take the mark you know the God is at some point in time God is going to allow the supernatural to be revealed in the night true and you will see an angel you will not only see but you'll also hear an angel flying abroad proclaiming the gospel so Paul tells us that if us he would let me put it in Paul's word he says but though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed so Paul is saying if an angel or any anybody else preaches something that has nothing to do with Christ but then they tell you that that's the way to salvation they need to be a cursed and they need to have curses put on them immediately and then he reaffirms it again he says as we said before so say I now again if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received let him be accursed and that's what was going on you got the enemy sending over people judy judy judy a tzer's or a Judea it's their Jewish Judaizers i know i pronounce the name is wrong i'm tearing the name up but they're still there with the mosaic laws okay and they're trying to say that okay we'll welcome you in and you got to understand something when you're looking at the church of Galatia what you're seeing is this is Gentiles and so what Paul is doing is he's preaching to Gentiles to say that Christ is welcoming you as part of God's family Judaism Judaism is number one Judaism was you have to be Jewish to accept it but then they're willing to accept Gentiles only if you observe the law of Moses so this is so they're coming to the Church of Galatia and saying look you are not y'all are not Jewish but that's okay as long you observe observed the mosaic laws you have to be circumcised and you have to obey the laws the the mosaic laws not only the ten commandments but all the laws if you observe those laws and if you circumcise your men then you can obtain that salvation Paul catches wind of it and he said that's another gospel and that's not even considered a gospel that's heresy because they they're perverting the gospel of Christ because they're they're putting they're saying that as Gentiles you're not fully saved unless you do it our way and that's not that's not how this goals this is why you have to guard your faith this is why those of you that have been following this this this ministry for a while we always say you can't have the pastor's relationship because you you you don't want somebody my job is to feed you my job is to help you to get a better understanding and out and then show you how to apply these things to your lives so that you can walk closer with God and that you can have the Holy Ghost I transform you on the inside out my job is to feed you point you in the direction of Christ help you to understand what the word says so that you can have all that the kingdom of God is offering amen but it's up to you to take advantage of it right and you have to do your due diligence because you are allowing me to feed you you have to look the stuff up for yourself you have to get other perspectives let the Holy Spirit let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you so that you you'll at the end of the day have peace with what you're being taught and then you don't want to have the pastor's relationship because we're still men amen God wants a personal relationship with you through Jesus Christ amen and when you put so much trust in men the enemy catches wind of that and he is going to try to send somebody over there to trip you up to draw your attention and to trip you up because you have accepted the Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life and it made you a target and because you've accepted the word for the word sake you're going to be targeted the enemy wants to send somebody over there because he knew what you know what boot kit boot camp does to you it is to give you some skills it is to equipped you to give you weaponry and atchoo and to show you how to use it that's that's what our military boot camp well God is the same way he is important people in your life giving you some understanding so that you can be equipped that you can be weaponized but also that you that you would be a smart soldier that you would know that you would put your trust in the Lord of Hosts that you will be equipped to deal with any confrontation you know that but but we don't look to fight we always look to pray we always look to praise amen we're non confrontational and when the enemy tries to shoot us we don't pull out our swords we stand in faith knowing that God has us we stand in faith knowing that God has us we don't charge at the enemy the Scriptures tells us to resist the enemy and he flees we put on the armor so that whatever the enemy shoots at us that armor we have enough faith in God that his armor is going to bounce off us that the enemy's arrows will bounce off us and have no effect on the enemy have to go on about his business this is how we do our battles amen this is who we are this is what boot camp so you come into the body of Christ you love God you confess Jesus as Lord the enemy it's got somebody assigned to you he's gonna try to trip you up don't fall for it don't have your own personal relationship with God this this ministry will pray with you we'll pray pray for you but at the end of the day have your personal relationship with him amen and that's what a lot of these people are going wrong because they're looking for at least here in Galatia the enemy able to send some people over there and they caught their ears and all of a sudden they're being misled put your trust in God not man amen so I digress let me go on because we still have some some stuff to cover so Paul says that you know they're trying to preach something and trying to pass it off as another gospel and that's not what it is and they need to be cursed for that verse 10 for do do I now persuade men or God do I seek to please men for if I yet pleased men I should not be the servant of Christ as a man of God let me tell you something and what I mean a man of God I mean a servant of God as I'm a servant of God I've had emails that have come in that sir some people wanted me to pray for certain things concerning them I had to let them know that that will happen there's some time that you can see when people are asking for certain things they will reveal what's out of balance in their lives and they want to incorporate they want those things from God but they want to keep these other things too and when when when their life began to break down into into property or into sickness and you begin to pinpoint some things people may not want to hear it and you will not be popular because I'm the kind of pastor that I'm not I'm the kind of person that if you ask me to to pray for you and you tell me what's going on and you tell me what's going on I'm going to let you know that this is better for me to pray that you get this thing cleaned up rather than to be less with the cleanup with what's the if you got up if you got a a clean up on aisle five before you can even put some more stuff on how to end that out on the shelves you need to clean up what fill on the flow and broke you need to find out how it fell on the floor and broke quit stepping over it you know and get it up clean it up put some precautions up to make sure that it don't happen again then start restocking the shelf okay some people just want to leave that down there and don't acknowledge how it feel and how long it's been down there they want to step over it and can still replenish the shelf if there is a process and the things that you have to say is not popular and people get mad at you for telling the truth but I believe that the problem is not with me the problem is you know they it's because of what I have to tell them according to the word so ultimately your problem is with God right I'm just my job is to tell you the truth and it's not going to be popular all the time but if I love you if I really care about what's going on with you it's not for me to sugarcoat it and it's not for me to patronize you it's to give you some truth and let me tell you something I don't like to hear truth myself all the time if there is something that I didn't realize was broken about myself and it's getting in the way and my wife have to say something to me about a you you got a there's a clean-up on aisle five and I didn't know that I've been stepping over at all this time and I got used to it when it's revealed to me it's a problem but I have to humble myself and acknowledge it and get that thing cleaned up right well that's how it is that's that's that's how it is and people don't like to be told and I be honest with you I don't like to have to tell but I rather be obedient unto God then to man I rather love you and hurt your feelings with truth then you claim I love you and you ask me and I keep my mouth shut and let you do whatever you want to do thing you know and you're looking for me to a man your mesons I have to answer to my boss a man I have to answer to God and I'm training here on another job I praise God that I'll be done with training this Friday and one of the things that I tell my instructors I've had two - two instructors now I'm on my second instructor that's the way this company operates and the one thing that I've told them is I'm much rather for you to let me know what I've done wrong and then if I don't know show me how the corrected residen writing down I did something wrong and put it in a report and then I don't know let me know what it because if I'm doing it is because I think I'm doing it right I don't think I'm doing it in my way I think I'm doing it right according to what I was shown and if it's not right I'm much rather for you to let me know even if it means my feelings are gonna get hurt and let me tell you my feeling at this job I feel very at a couple times so but I've taken what they tell me to clean up some things so that I can prosper I couldn't cause to company to prosper and myself my family and myself can prosper so I had to you know sometimes you get your feelings hurt and I see the same thing in ministry you have to you're not setting out to hurt people's feelings but if if they divulge some things about them why you know why they keep having this run of bad luck if you will and they reveal to you that's your job to tell them what's going on and and and you you're being obedient unto God as to help his children course-correct amen so I've got grass we still got some things to cover so let me shut up here but be be humbled to receive what's being told that's the best thing I can tell you be humbled about it as Paul said for my personal should I do I now persuade men or God and then another thing you're not going to you're not going to be a popular person you really just not go to be especially in ministry there when we had our ministry in Illinois there was the pastor God ordained me he wanted us affiliated with some other ministries and they I remember that they were they were calling for us to you know to I guess the way things operated in organizations is a one organization has to I don't know yeah I think he I really don't know so let me just let me just be quiet on that cuz I there's a lot about it that I really didn't understand and so a lot of things I didn't subject our ministry to because I didn't understand the functionality of those things and to be able to speak up and speak out and you know it kind of put me in a position that for me to say no you know and I said no because Spillers a lot of things that I didn't understand so you're and you're not going to be a popular person for what you believe is the right thing and those of you that are coming into the body of Christ you're not going to be popular among people that are not ready to come your family members your neighbors your co-workers they may not be ready to take these steps that you've decided to take they may not be ready to take the commitment that you've just committed to and you're not going to be a popular person because there's going to be a time to where some things offend you now it didn't offend you before but it offend you now but you always got to remember do I please men or do I please God you know and that's there it is right there amen but I certify you brethren that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man for I neither received it of man neither was I taught it but the revver but by the revelation of Jesus Christ this this here alone you can just say Amen and close up the book cuz this is powerful what he was saying is I didn't go to a seminary school I didn't know I didn't come up under a pastor okay that's nice that's what Paul is saying I didn't go to the seminary school and come up under a pastor he said what I preached to you is what was given to me by the Lord Jesus Christ himself this is what Paul is saying and this is powerful a lot of people won't even accept you if you don't show that you've had four six eight years of seminary school a lot of people won't accept you if they don't see that you came up under another pastor you know they won't accept you they won't had nothing to do with you a lot of people want to see that you that you that you come or that someone of reputable you know somebody with a rep you know reputable demeanor somebody like a creflo dollar TD jakes or a Joyce Meyer somebody has to be able to recommend you for people to take a chance on you and otherwise they just kind of turn their back on you you know because they don't they don't look at you like that and that's bad for society to be that way Paula Paul is making the case that y'all try to look at my resume and I'm letting you know that the Lord Jesus Christ himself he's the one that bestowed his doctoring upon me that he's called me to be the one to reach out to the Gentiles amen and that's that's some powerful stuff he says for I heard of my conversion is that for you for ye have heard of my conversion in times past in the Jews religion how that beyond measure I persecuted the Church of God and I wasted it or I destroyed it paulus and now look these people are not only trying to stumble you up but they're also dogging me out by letting you know that that I'm not real that's why Paul would even be mentioning this Paul is saying not only are they stumbling you up but they're trying to belittle me by saying why are you even listening to me look at what I used to do so Paul put him on Front Street Paul went in and broke his resume down to him and so let's see what Paul is talking about go with me to let's take a look at X Acts chapter 9 Acts chapter 9 and let's start at verse 1 Acts chapter 9 started beginning at verse 1 here's what the Word of God says and so yet breathing out and soul is Paul his name was later changed to Paul at this time his name is Saul okay Saul yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord went unto the high priest now he's colluding with the high priest he's targeting the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ okay and he's working with the high priest and desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogue that if he found any of this way whether they were men or women he might bring them bound to Jerusalem so Paul is saying he went to the high priest and he said I need you to to write a letter for me and then sent it to the synagogue on Damascus and and what I need you to do is to to let them know that down anybody that's found in this worship of the Lord Jesus Christ anybody that's in that's that's practicing Christianity whether they're men or women that they will be locked up they would be chained and imprisoned you know and and and guess what the the the Jews work with him to do it he went to the high priest and a high priest sent the letter out okay to Damascus and and put the word out anybody that's participating in Christianity you will be in prison you will be shackled and imprisoned okay so Paul was working with the high priest to facilitate this and and as he journeyed he came near Damascus and suddenly there shined roundabouts of my life heaven and he fell on he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto Him Saul Saul why persecutest thou me so what he was doing to the Christians he's actually doing to Jesus Christ and he said who art thou Lord and the Lord said I am Jesus whom thou persecuted it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks it's hard for you he said it's hard for you to keep doing this and think that you're not going to have some kind of repercussions for it you know it's you can't keep doing this and think that I'm not going to come at you okay and he trembling and astonished said Lord what wilt thou have me to do now this is a voice from heaven that pierced through and called Saul just like that okay and he trembling and astonished said Lord what will have me to do and the Lord said unto Him arise and go into the city and this shall be told to thee what what thou must do and the men which journeyed with him stood speechless hearing the voice but seeing no man saul arose from the earth and when his eyes were open he saw no man but they led him by the hand and brought him to damascus that that light that that hid him blinded him and he couldn't see after that so somebody needed to lead him to Damascus he's under orders to go there right and he was there three days without sight and neither did he eat nor drink and there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias and to him said the Lord in a vision Ananias and he said Behold I am here Lord and the Lord said unto Him arise go into the street which is called straight inquire in the house of Judas for one called saul saul of tarsus for behold he Prayuth and he has seen in the vision a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand upon him and that he might receive a sight then Ananias answered lord I've heard by many of this man how much evil he has done by this body Saints or to thy Saints rather at Jerusalem and he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name but the Lord said unto him go that way for he is a chosen vessel unto me to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel look at what the Lord says here this was the main thing we needed to see he is a chosen vessel unto me to bear my name before the Gentiles this is the love of God because the the gospel was not just given to the to the Jews God thought about the Gentiles too and he took somebody that was working against him to get them to work for him and to go out and to minister to the Gentiles those that were not Jewish so that they would have an opportunity all of us that are not Jewish that that we would have an opportunity to be part of the family of God to be to be a child of God if you will to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel and I will show him how great things he must suffer for my namesake so this is why Paul is letting the the Galatians know that the gospel that I received came from the Lord Jesus Christ himself I didn't receive her from a seminary school and isn't this something here this is powerful powerful powerful look at Saul / Paul look at what he did and who he did it to when people that come from a rocky dirty past a lot of people don't want to have to hear anything that they have to but God chooses those that's going to bring him glory Paul became as passionate as Paul was about stopping people from practicing Christianity he became just as passionate he became just as passionate about making sure people do get involved in Christianity it's passionate as he was about them you know breaking it up he became just as passionate about putting it together and to not be the glory because he chooses people that you may not have the best past you may not have the best present you know you you may come from a controversial background but that does not mean that God cannot use you and don't let nobody tell you different don't let nobody tell you that your life is just too messed up for you to even be a Christian you know God you know God don't have any room for you don't let nobody tell you that the blood of Jesus is is well labeled to cleanse you of all unrighteousness all you have to do is repent and confess you yield to the Spirit of God amen so Paul is letting him know about his resume because people are questioning Paul's resume then why would you make mention of who sent you unless people was questioning who you why you're there in the first place so Paul is letting them know you know it was Jesus himself that called me it was Jesus himself that gave me the gospel I didn't go learn it from somebody this did you came from Jesus he goes on to say for you heard of my conversion in times past and Jews religion how that beyond measure I persecuted the Church of God and I destroyed it I wasted it and it and profited in the Jews religion he says when it comes to Judaism that's the word I was trying to pronounce earlier Judaism when it came to Judea he said I mastered that I went to the schools I learned Judaism I learned it so much that I God I taught it I was able to teach it I've learned so much of it that I live by it I was passionate because Judaism is about the mosaic laws it doesn't honor the Lord Jesus Christ it's not uh it's it's about the righteousness of the law and and not faith through Jesus Christ you see it cents salvation through your obedience unto the law that's Judaism it it binds you in legalism to where there's an excessive adherence to the laws of Moses amen and it binds you to that and here's the problem with that if you break one law you broke them all okay you're a violator of the law so you can never find righteousness in the law it never it never inspires you to righteousness it inspires you to legalism and that's what it does the Lord Jesus Christ that's the laws of Moses and the problem is it it was a good law to begin with but sin took the occasion to get in there so I'll give you an example if God said and I've used this example before if God said thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife that's a law that God put out there thou should not covet thy neighbor's wife sin gets in there and say why would God keep you from looking at your neighbor's wife what's going on over there that God wouldn't want you to look at and all of a sudden you get curious because sin used that as an opportunity to see why God was trying to keep it from you see you you forget that God is trying to save you and not nothing get you killed you forget that and you get offended that God don't want you to see what's going on that's what sin does it perverts the righteousness though that's that should have been inspired by the law it perverts that okay and so once you broke a one version of the lawyer you really broke you become a sinner to the law altogether so therefore there it didn't spawn righteousness whereas faith in Christ Jesus that that faith in Him it it inspires the obedience and it inspires love it inspires holiness because you get a chance to see how much he loved you so and how much he laid on the line for you because you were at your worse and he gave you his best and when you begin to rationalize how much he loves you look at what he just decided to do for you he left glory he was there with his father in heaven at the beginning in a spirit state and he left glory came and was born into this world as a man and went through all the pain and suffering and and even went through death for our sake and when God resurrected him from the dead he never returned back in his spirit form he stayed he remained in the form of the man and he is there in heaven on the right hand side of God as a man not in a spirit form but as a man he left glory to be born into this world and then after he suffered and and and lay down his life and was resurrected he eventually returned back to glory but in the form of a man he took on it he took on this the the form of a man because He loves us and when you think about that when you begin to rationalize that it moves you to want to be right it moves you to want to be holy you don't you're not following the laws because God had already wrote his laws inside of your heart so you don't follow the laws to be like I can't do this uh don't do this don't do that don't you you just know it it's like if you married your wife or your husband don't have to tell you not to they don't have to tell you not to steal you just know and you love them and you don't want to do anything to hurt your family that's how it is and that's the difference between Christianity and in the observance of faith through the grace of Christ Jesus versus the righteousness of the law it's a big difference and that's why you're you know that the Church of Galatia is experiencing Galatian is experiencing some insurrection if you will while people are coming in they're trying to overturn it because they're rejecting that the whole premise number one you don't really want Gentiles up in there and then to know that Gentiles can have eternal life and not have to be up under the yoke of the law so therefore they try to put them under the yoke by saying first you have to circumcise yourself and then you have to observe the laws of Moses well these circumcision is part of the laws of Moses so and Paul is saying that you have liberty in Christ Jesus don't give it up amen I digress let's go on for time's sake I'm running out man I'm only in chapter 1 I thought I was going to get through three chapters today but it's not looking that way but I digress anyway verse 14 and the profit of the Jews religion he says I profited in Jews religion above many of my equals in my own nation being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my father's but when it pleased God who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by His grace to reveal his son in me that I might preach him among the heathens and what are heathens those are Gentiles those are people that are not Jewish and his calling was to preach to the Gentiles that was his calling God used somebody that specialized in Judaism to now be on the other spectrum of things to now preach according to the grace through faith laid up in Christ Jesus to reveal the Sun in me that I might preach among the heathens immediately I curved I conferred not with flesh and blood when I had and Jay Paul is saying when I have my Damascus experience I didn't go get with other apostles right away to figure out you - what do I do with this Paul didn't do that he said I didn't go to flesh and blood neither when I'll up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me but I went into Arabia and I'm returning in unto Damascus then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter and now I bow with him for 15 days this was after three years but other but other of the Apostles so I none except James the Lord's brother now the things which I write unto you behold before God I lie not he said I'm telling the truth afterwards I came into the region of Syria as an sil see of Silesia or C yes Alicia and was unknown by face until the churches of Judaea - the churches of Judea which were in Christ they didn't recognize him but they had heard only that he was persecuted that he which persecuted us in times past now preaches the faith which once he destroyed so Paul said that when he was in those other regions all this time living and preaching people couldn't recognize him but his reputation preceded him and his reputation got out because people heard that AR y'all know remember Sol that they used to persecute the church and salt to the death of people and and and then work with the work with the the the counsel of the temple you know that the high priests worked with them to put out threats do you all know that this man is his name now is Paul and that he's working to establish Christianity to spread the gospel and God you have y'all heard about so that's what the Apostle Paul is saying that people had not where he was preaching and teaching that people didn't recognize them but they did hear of his reputation they heard about his conversion and then and they glorify God in me so that'll be all that we have time for today and and I know I you know I can be rambling off a lot but I do hope that you've been able to receive something valuable here that God would have wanted us to have eternal God I thank you for the opportunity to declare your truths to preach to teach father to expound to elaborate to educate to equip to establish to point to the direction of the Lord Jesus Christ God I thank you for such an opportunity to do so father thank you for using me for your glory for for turning on the light in dark places or God thank you for the audience that you've given me to speak to now Lord God I pray that those who you've allowed to gather around this broadcast and that and to gather around this recording that father that they be not only hearers of the word but that they be doers as well father that they've been able to glean something from this word that they can apply to their lives and that it would draw them closer closer to you closer to the arms of God closer to their salvation Lord God it's my desire father thank you for always growing the size of our family I pray father that those who have heard this message that they receive it in this context in this rifle understanding that they may gain knowledge and truth and that they may be empowered by having received his word and father if the enemy shall send someone around to trip into stumble the mom father that that the enemy be not successful but that the saints of God is prosperous in standing against the wiles of the devil it's my desire father I ask of thee as you always hear our prayers and now you always answer them according to your will I pray you let none of these words fall to the ground but I pray for your wonders to operate through our faith that you be glorified in Jesus name we pray amen quickly if I can get you to go with me to Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 through 30 this is Jesus Christ that's offering us first of all Jesus being mindful of us and letting us know that there is a remedy to what's going on with us it's very very powerful and very sincere look at what he says Matthew chapter 11 beginning in verses 28 through 30 he says come unto me this word all and don't matter where you've come from and don't matter who you've been with what you've been doing where you were even headed what matters is that Christ acknowledged you and he wants you to acknowledge him he sees how this world has turned you out how it has wore you out and made you tired and he wants to come and be your Savior but all he can do is persuade it's up to you if you choose to come to him but he is inviting you to come and to ultimately have rest but he can't make me come that choice is up to you but he says look at your present situation I want to remove the burdens from off your back because I see how they wore you down fear poverty confusion anger these things have robbed you of life and Christ he sees it and he wants you to have a better life even in the most pressing circumstances he wants you to have a better life now the Notah for you to do so if it's sin that has wore you down and made you tired and were you out you are required to repent of that sin help him to help you you have to get that burden of sin you have to repent you've been doing what you've been doing so long you used to feel guilty about the wrong you no longer feel guilty about it and Christ is bringing it to your attention because no matter what you've done is mindful of you and he don't want you to perish in your sins so he asked you to come to him now you got to understand when you decide to do that you are deciding to make him lord over your life and in order for him to be lord over your life you have to surrender that means you have to repent of your sins you have to turn away from your sins it's not enough to say I'm sorry you have to turn away from your sins and you have to call upon him that's calling upon you look at what he says here come unto me he's calling upon you come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy-laden all of you that are that labor and are tired and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn of me and this is a transitioning he says commit to him when you think about taking the yoke upon you you're thinking about think about an ox plowing the field back in the day and what they do is they would take to get to ox - I don't know what the plural word of ox ox is or ox but if you get to oxus if you will - ox and what you do is you put the yoke upon each other one yoke that connects the two together and then you you use their strength to plough the field so Christ is saying yoke up to me Connect commit to me and then he said learn of me see here's the thing about it you can't come to him with expectations when you don't know who he is and what he's able to do you have to be willing to do things his way and therefore you need to find out what his way is of when the children of Israel came out of Egypt the reason why the first generation didn't make it into the land of Canaan is because they couldn't let go of the ways of Egypt so they were not successful in transitioning to Canaan to Canaan to the to the land that they came gave them they were not successful and every time they wasn't traveling when they were staying put they were being taught they were given the word they were given instructions when they wasn't traveling and then once they got up to travel all the instructions went out the window they just did what they wanted to do of him and apply it to your lives that which you've learned apply it to your lives and it's going to take time because you've been programmed according to the world standard all your life learning kingdom ways is not done overnight the process starts immediately but the concept takes time to grasp it takes time but hang in there and if you if you endure if you hang in there and if you endure and if you don't let up if you don't give up if you don't give in you will prosper in the kingdom of God you won't be afraid of death you won't be afraid of disease you won't find yourself in debt you will find yourself content you won't be looking at your wife to make you happy the wives won't be looking at the husband to make them happy you'll understand that happiness and joy comes from the Lord you begin to understand how these things want you begin to understand how you been living a lie all this time that's why he says take my yoke upon me and upon you and learn of me learn of him because he will begin to show he is light so he will begin to show you what's been going on in the darkness of your life take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light he says I'm not going to make it too hard for you and then now you've decided to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior quickly come with me to Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 13 Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 13 so how do you you accept you decided to accept them so just this is the path to accept in Jesus Christ beginning at verse 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus why are you confetti confessing your confessing that Jesus is now Lord of your life you're confessing that he is Lord he is the one that came from the Father he is the only begotten of the Father he is the one from God and now he is king of kings and Lord of lords and you are now making him Lord of your life so if thou shalt confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved so remember what I said Jesus came down from glory was born into this world as a baby around the age of 30 he went throughout the region of Israel preaching the gospel letting the children of Israel know that God wants a relationship with them and God is offering the gift of eternal life Jesus understood to facilitate this gift of eternal life he needed to become a Lamb of God he allowed and because so many people were offended of his teaching and of his preaching they allowed himself to be taken into custody by those who were offended they crucified him they drove nails through his hands and his feet while they hung him on a cross he allowed these things to happen because he understood that he needed to become a Lamb of God and in order to do so his blood needed to be shed and that once he becomes Aslan a Lamb of God our sins are passed on to him and then he understood that he needed to lay down his life so that our past present and future sins would die with him on the cross on the cross and after three days and three nights of his death God brought him back to life and 40 days after God brought him back to life God ascended him in up into heaven and then so rereading verse 9 that if thou shalt confess with our mouth the Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart you can't be persuaded otherwise believe in your heart that God had raised him from the dead you shall be saved what are you being saved from your obtaining the gift of salvation and you're not going to be a recipient of the wrath of God which is going to be poured out upon the world for their rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ amen for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation for the scripture saith whosoever believeth on him will not be ashamed he's not going to let you down if you take a chance on him for there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek for the same lord over all is rich upon all that call upon him it's your responsibility to call upon him and just like God was faithful to the Jews to save them he's faithful to the Gentiles to save us he committed the gospel to us as well amen for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved amen now God is going to do his part to save you you have to do your part to put yourself in position to be saved you have to call upon the name of the Lord amen now go with me quickly to first John chapter 1 verses 8 through 10 first John chapter 1 verses 8 through 10 if we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us starting at verse 8 verse 9 if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness very very key very powerful very important we talked about repentance turning away from your sins you have to repent you confess your faults so you read you repent from your sin you confess your fault you call upon the name of the Lord and and if you do your part if you repent and confess the Lord will will forgive and cleanse you we you you you again you repent and confess God will forgive and cleanse you do your part God does his part if you don't do your part God doesn't do his part so you have your part to play and you're letting your you're letting the Lord know see what you're doing is you're making sure that these things don't come back on you so what you're telling the Lord father I've been guilty of this and that and that in this and I've repented of all those things that I've been guilty of I confess that to you that you will know and I believe that you are faithful and just to forgive me and to cleanse me from my unrighteousness and because you've confessed your fault before God he is faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you if you don't confess it it comes back up and it's going to come up when you have to come before that that throne for judgment it's going to come up you had an opportunity to take care of it now and you chose not to therefore it's going to come up later and you're going to be held accountable because you you you may have repented but you didn't confess you didn't ask for forgiveness of it you know that's what it is you'reyou're repenting of it and then you're you're confessing it so that you can you can be forgiven for what you've done why would God forgive you if we wasn't asking for forgiveness so you so you're being faithful by repenting and confessing that confession is you asking for forgiveness for what you've done and then God Himself is faithful and just to forgive you of it and then our sins leave stains upon us so God cleanses us of those stains so therefore when we do come before him in judgment it never comes up Amen because that we had a chance to take care of it now and God honored it amen Asli go with me to Acts chapter 2 verses 36 through 47 Acts chapter 2 verses 36 through 47 Acts chapter 2 verses 36 through 47 and while you're going there I know many of you might may be there already I need to read something quickly this is coming out of Psalm 32 verse 5 you don't have to go here I'll just read it for you real quick this is coming from David hi I acknowledge my sin unto thee and mine iniquity have a not had I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord and thou forgave us the iniquity of my sin even David understood this if you repent and confess the Lord will forgive and cleanse he understands that when you confess you're asking God for forgiveness and you're sincere about it because you've repented of it so you can't ask him for forgiveness when you ain't ready to let it go once you repented of it you've turned away from it now you make it known to God that's your way of confessing your fault and asking for forgiveness amen make sure you do it take care of it now so that you don't be you don't have to deal with it before him later amen Peter gives a sermon to to those that were present on this particular day of pentacles he gives a sermon and on this day of Pentecost this particular day of Pentecost this observation of this holy day people came from all over from Asia from from Rome and Africa maybe they come from all over to observe this holy day and while they were all gathered in us in this upper room if you will the Holy Spirit descended down from heaven and fill upon the disciples it fell not only did it the Holy Ghost fall upon the disciples but it also came inside of the disciples amen and filled the disciples with the Holy Ghost and when the Holy Ghost got inside of the disciples evening the Holy Ghost begin to use their tongue the reason why the Holy Ghost use their tongues it was trying to get the attention of the various nationalities that were present on this particular day of pentacles and so if someone there was from Africa the Holy Ghost would have one of disciples one of the disciples to speak in an African tongue if someone was there from Asia whatever part of Asia the Holy Ghost would have that disciple to speak in that particular language of Asia and so on and so forth once the Holy Ghost had the attention of all the worshippers that were there Peter began to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and we come in towards the end of Peters sermon here's what he says beginning at verse 36 Acts chapter 2 verse 36 therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God had made that same Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ so Peter is telling him that Jesus whom y'all heard so much about who was crucified on the cross I know y'all heard about it but let me tell you something he is he was the real deal he is and he was the real deal he is Lord he came from God he is to Christ that we kept hearing about and Peter said I got news for you you are just your rejection of him makes you just as guilty as the that drove the nails through his hands those that crucify Jesus on the cross your rejection of him make you just as guilty now when they heard this and that applies to us to the way we lived our lives if we lived our lives in rebellion against the Lord Jesus Christ we're just as complicit as those that crucified Him on that cross and were charged as such amen now when they heard this they were convicted they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles men and brethren what shall we do so when you hear the truth and you you want to do something about it that's what the truth is meant to do God exposes things inside of you and when you have that conviction that's God unction in you to course-correct to put in line what is misaligned to get your house in order because God don't want you to perish from that sin that's why you feel the conviction for it that's why the Lord won't let you be at ease about it because he don't want you to have to be you don't want you to be punished you don't want you to you know be a candidate of the lake of fire that's the so when you hear a sermon it's not enough to say Amen if it's moving you to do something do something amen now when they heard that they were pricked in their heart and they said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles men and brethren what shall we do they wanted to know what can we do because we know we've been wrong and we want to do something what is it can we do what is it that could be done Peter gives them the answer Peter says repent we've already talked about repentance it's not just telling God I'm sorry but it's turning away from your sins once and for all and some sins are harder to turn away from that's why you have to just ask Jesus to give you the strength to let it go once and for all and commit to it amen repent be baptized every one in you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins now we are buried in Christ Jesus and we are resurrected in Christ Jesus when Jesus was taken down off the cross he was laid in a tomb and and he was laid to rest for three days and three nights and after three days and three nights he was brought back to life so he was laid to rest in the tomb and then after three days and three nights he was resurrected okay when we are baptized we are being laid to rest in the water or we are born down in the water which is us some it symbolizes us being laid to rest in Jesus Christ when we come up out of the water it represents us being resurrected in Jesus Christ so your old man goes down into the water your new man comes up out of the water your old man is laid to rest in Christ lay down in the water your new man is resurrected in Christ coming up out of the water amen so all of your past sin all of your sins they are now past and washed away when you come up out of that water you are a new creature in Christ amen and you want to have baptism done and I know in these days of social distancing and all this other stuff the Lord will have you can have somebody come on out to your place make sure your place is clean pavement and have faith in God let God know Lord I want to be baptized I believe I've confessed I've repented and I'm calling I want to be baptized Lord and I'm asking you in Jesus name if you can help me to see it through I'm willing if you would send somebody in my way have faith in God have faith in it and don't give up amen and I believe God will send someone to your house and God knows your heart and and I believe that the Lord will network in a way in a way to where you can get this thing done but you want to get it done don't put it off if you haven't already at if you haven't already done so ask God to help you to see it through remember it's not you don't have to have it done in a place of worship you can have it done I've baptized people in their bathtubs you do not have to have be in a place of worship you need a tub of water so that you could be lay down in and immediately brought up out of the water amen so you want to make sure you get that done let me give you some scripture on that as well go with me to Romans Romans chapter 6 verses three through six Romans chapter six verses three through six know ye not that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ that we were baptized into his death that's what I said we're we're we're when we're baptized we'll were being laid to rest in Christ Jesus that's being baptized into his death therefore we are buried with him in baptism into death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father even so we also should walk in the newness of life again we are buried in Christ Jesus we are resurrected in Christ Jesus and when we are resurrected or come up from that water we come up in the newness of life we don't go back to our former sins and therefore if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection knowing this that our old man is crucified with him that the body of Christ or that I'm sorry that the body of sin might be destroyed that henceforth we shall not serve sin amen so going back to Acts chapter 2 verse 38 Peter said repent be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and we talked about the indwelling of the holy spirit just as it did the disciples God is going to pour out a spirit upon you it's going to come inside and that's going to help transform you from the inside out you what's happening on you on the ant what's happening to you on the inside will equate to this outwardly expression things are going to change on the outside because things are being changed on the inside for the promises unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord God shall call God is going to offer your children and your grandchildren and your great grandchildren the invitation to be his sons and daughters will be extended to them as well and this is what gives me hope because when I think about how far away I was from God how I lived in a sinful state before I walked with God before I knew the Lord just how devious I was and yet he would call me and he would love me and welcomed me in with arms wide open and fill me with this spirit let me know that his son's blood was shed for me too and that it's able to cleanse me and clean me up if I would just turn away from my sins and to know that God will welcome me like that as far off in a far away as I was from him when I think about how the distance there was between God and myself because of my sins and my rebellion if he can do it for me when I look at other family members I believe that there is hope and I don't get discouraged amen so remember when when you look at your own children and your own family members there is hope when you look at how far the distance that you put between God and yourself and look at where you are now there is hope amen for your children with many of the words with many other words all let me finish verse 39 for the promise is unto you to your children to all that are afar off even as many as the Lord God shall call and with many other words did Peter testify and exhort saying save yourselves from this godless generation untoward or this godless generation then they that gladly received his word were baptized in the same day that were added to them or they were added unto them about 3,000 souls and they continued steadfastly in the Apostles doctrine and fellowship and in breaking and bread and in prayers whatever you did to get to the point that that you are now obtaining the grace you are obtaining grace through Jesus Christ you you have received a gift of salvation whatever it took you to get here it takes just as much of that if not more to remain there you don't stop moving ahead once you slow down you fall back so don't stop praying don't stop fellowship and don't stop reading don't stop fasting if whatever it took for you to get to this point there needs to be a continuation of that amen and fear came upon every soul and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles and all that believed were together and had all things coming and they sold their possessions and goods and they parted them to all men as every man had need and they continued daily with one Accord in the temple and then breaking bread from house to house and did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart praising God and having favor with all people and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved eternal God we thank you long-suffering loving compassionate holy God Lord God thank you being mindful of man giving us your best gift while we displayed our worst persons Jesus was on the cross than even ask your father to forgive us for we knew not what was being done and you forgave you healed you said free and even to this day you continue to deliver many people still to this day had not known what they've been doing to the Lord Jesus Christ and now they have been made aware and they have repented they have called they have confessed the Lord Jesus so father thank you for long-suffering thank you for for pricking them in a heart enough to call upon the Lord Jesus giving them strength to resist to repent now father we pray as you welcome them into the family and as you welcome them into the kingdom use them for the sake of your glory strengthen them fill them with your spirit and make them wise let them be wise let the walk and operate in wisdom the wisdom of Jesus Christ and in the integrity of being a child of God or God thank you for all that you've that you've invested in us the redemption made possible through Jesus Christ you redeemed us Lord God through your only-begotten help us to be to live worthy of this our righteousness is as filthy rags but if we come under Christ allow us to live worthy of you love you are forever merciful forever gracious full of love and kindness and mercy and compassion I think of thank you for adding to the size of our family and that's the enemy tries to take away the seeds that sown in our lives help us to resist and help them to fill that is efforts this is my desire God and we acknowledge you for acknowledging us we thank you for loving us first thank you for those that you've called who's who have finally answered our new brothers and sisters in the body of Christ and thank you for those who remain strengthen strengthening and keeping in a keeping us daily God thank you for all that you do for being God all by yourself God of Abraham of Isaac and of Jacob to God be the glory for ever and ever in Jesus name we pray my brothers and sisters I thank you for allowing my family and I for allowing this ministry to be a part of your Bible study it's another late one today I forgive me I got back from Harrisonville Missouri today this morning so you know we get getting around to getting this out there's going to be because of this job that I have you know constantly traveling back and forth here forgive me if these Bible studies get up just a Numbers chapter 6 verses 24 through 26 again my wife and I our family were very appreciative of your correspondence your prayers as well as your proceeds thanking for the things that you've done for hanging in there with us be mindful of your neighbors of your family those that you're in position to help whether you're praying for them or whether you have proceeds to help them be mindful God is
