FULL TILT ASCENDANT Review From A Ski Racer! // I Wish I Could Have Seen A Review Like This Before!

here this boom is a really solid option so pretty stoked on this one out of 10 i'm going to give it a rating of 8. well what's up guys today i'm bringing you the review of the full tilt ascendant um i have been writing it for around 25 days 30 maybe and i'm gonna be reviewing this only based on my experience also for you to know i was a x alpine skier i mean i used to race so i'm gonna be sometimes comparing it to the normal ski racing boots out there so let's begin okay the pros this boot on i think all folded full tilt boots are pretty damn comfortable i don't know why and how they make it but they are super great when it comes to comfortability the liner the liner itself it just has a you can adjust it here on the back um you can it has pieces where you can add some more volume on it for you so if you if it feels better for you you can put one or take one it's it's a pretty good thing about this liner also it has a shoelace inside so you can actually adjust this pressure here it only adjusts it here it's pretty fine i think so um nice fall tilt stiffness uh when you actually are wearing these boots you feel stiff i mean you feel like i'm gonna send it bro because they are pretty hard to flex it's i mean the flex is 120 so uh i feel for everyone who wants to send it huge just do it also for hiking up or skinning up or however you say it uh the full tilt boot it has a lot of specs i mean it has a lot of advantage uh this one going up it's the best i think to be honest you can you can actually take out the tongue and put this in your backpack and then you're done and make it ear lighter it's not a big deal actually and also you can strap your things here so they're not flying around while you're walking then and you can put it on you see how it flexes it's great and also i mean just look at this you look cool as man i think when you're going in the when you're skiing and you see someone wearing that full tilt ascendant you see god damn he must be good because if not he what the is he doing with a 700 boot you know so yes you look red with this so i'm gonna be talking about the cons now alright to be honest the original strap i had to replace it because i mean i had to replace it with with a booster strap as you may see here this one because as you see here in this picture the strap the original strap just sucks i don't know why fulton keeps doing it with a 700 dollar build you know you know what i mean also there is i mean the buckles and they are not easy sometimes to un buckle them i wish they could have some people or something to make it easier to unstrap you know and also when you are going up sometimes it can accumulate snow inside the front part and also in on the on the switch to walk to to go up or go down sometimes it accumulates ice inside there and if you don't have something to take it out it might be it might take you some time make sure that the ice is completely out from this because you don't want to be riding and some somehow it managed to take out or not to fit in properly and then you will have to stop and do it again also some really bad thing about this one i found out is the quality of the plastic i don't know if gorilla made really is the it really is good if it's good really because to be honest at my second time using this boot it just broke i mean i'm gonna be showing you this because it has these things happen only by two days to be honest uh sometimes or i mean if you are saying sending it huge or jumping off a cliff and if you fall to be honest it probably will happen to you the plastic will just i don't know how to say but you see that it's moldable it's not like really stiff i see all the boots uh one bad thing about the full tilt is that they're not really light they're pretty heavy so if you're looking for a light boot pleats a gun i mean please don't buy this and also something about the liner that i do not understand or i still cannot manage how to fix it is that it flies you know i mean they when you lace it up they're i mean you sometimes find it pretty um as you say you cannot find a place where to put these laces they will keep just going out going out and sometimes you think oh my ski is gonna pass by and cut these laces my life um comparing it to the normal alpine boot this boot i think has not i mean the transmission power the transmission energy that the racing boots have this one cannot provide the same energy i mean the same transmission as the other boots if you are a ski racer or you wear a ski racer you will feel that this boot does not have the same energy transmission to the ski so i mean pretty much you won't feel it until you go on groomers and try to carve and hit drag or whatever you want to do on the groomers uh probably on like on powder you won't feel it anymore i mean you won't feel it really but there is a place where i can say myself this one this boot is not as good as an albin i mean as a racing boot um it's a pretty good boot overall i think it has a lot of pros um they feel nice if you're into backcountry stuff yes they are pretty good option but to be honest they are not they're really not the 700 dollars it costs i would say go for another one i think they're pretty expensive for that price also as all the things i said before it has some things i do not like him if you come from alpine skiing you will feel it pretty different and you will say holy this is not what i wanted but overall i mean after 30 days about using it i feel comfortable about sending it like doing 360 jumping whatever you want to do you will end up realizing it's a pretty good boot so yes as i said is it worth 700 my answer is no it would be worth maybe 500 dollars yes and that's it if you have any questions please just ask below i
