jab and with that reach well I think right now when we look at Salt poy he has a smile on his face he really looks like he's enjoying himself which tells you he's very comfortable with what's going on the type of fight that you want to be in this is right where slim wants to be right here that's right nice rolling with the punches there by salt poy I got it I got it if you can't get out of the way of the punch just roll with mhm use the shoulders use the [Applause] gloves another good jab from slim now mans I know that you as the person who runs this entire show and it's why I respect you so much you want action action action but you've got to be impressed with the discipline that these guys are using tonight as they continue to get better right now Sal po seems to be beating slim to the punch on these exchanges he does and in close quarters he's just phys physically more imposing than slim right now which is surprising but slim still getting a few shots off in these exchanges too he sure is I think he's quicker but also Gish he's he he just feels or looks physically stronger than slim pushing him around in there for sure and the referee's going to have a word with him more fighting less holding a welt on the forehead of salt Poppy and some swelling under the eyes too this is where salt poy wants to fight he wants to get right on the inside and just hook away and Slim's not discouraging him from doing that this is definitely his happy place and not only is he staying inside but he's landing at the same time but slim is an anomaly here even though he's much longer he somehow gets inside and he knocked out temper if you remember in these exact similar types of exchanges so he's no [Music] slouch I don't want you standing right in front of him you making this [ __ ] look at him right now he looks miserable this is the toughest boxing match he's ever been in oh when you start to hold like slim is when you start to only throw one punch like slim is that's when you know cuz we've talked about it all night that the other Fighter the opponent is inside of his head sometimes you say you know what I just want to get out of here I'm not saying slim is doing that yet but he's now doing the holding but salt poy is the one that's pressing the issue he's still very much in the fight oh good left from slim got him again and now Slim's waking up no pun let no P you wasn't quite himself adjusting to the atmosphere the magnitude of what's going on tonight and then suddenly came back made those necessary adjustments and Sal papy the smile is never a good sign when you're smiling in the world too much too arrogantly it comes and bites you back what did Tyson Fury say when he came out on the stage you have to take everybody seriously you cannot let up when you do anything can happen in boxing he said that and we just saw it and I really feel for salt but at the same time I'm really happy for slim it's it's an emotional roller coaster for me I love these boys but you know what salt will be back well let's look at some of the highlights and there was a whole bunch in this fight early on it was all about salt Poppy and then slam started to connect and then if you see there the right and the left and he started to see the space grish and that's when salt poppy his eyes got really really big he ended up going down in and ultimately slim was able to finish things off and I think it speaks volumes that slim wasn't celebrating he didn't even look happy he looked relieved after this fight I think he felt the pressure of this big fight and it took him a few rounds to get his feet underneath it but once he figured out it's just another fight stuck to his game plan and he finished the fight it's one thing Ms to say this is a big night and everything leading up to this is what you've been working for it's another thing when you go in there and you have to experience what the body feels and what it does to you sometimes not everybody can handle it you're absolutely right and again you know salt did cut a lot of weight quickly did that affect his performance is he more comfortable at a different weight who knows the factors but slim stepped up to the plate and he's got the Victory and he is the new middleweight champion of misfitz boxing well who is going to be the champ come December 9th Devin Haney moving up to become a two-weight world
