good morning guys it is april 30th today um step down here we uh we went to about 10 pm there last night and we had a few breakdowns one was ashton she went to load last night and uh this is the only tank with the auger and like i said before i'm not a big fan of the auger it just happened to be what we had what came with it so uh we changed these bearings uh last year we just changed these bearings and i'm like surely we can get two years out of a set of bearings surely and we wash these things and like there's no grease points in these just so you know these are ungreasable bearings and but anyway what happened is it broke this it actually just twisted this off we this is a new one uh but then of course it kind of wrecked this bolt so we're coming down with a they are coming down with um a dewalt side grinder we're just gonna zip this thing right off put this back on i think the bearing will probably make the year it's definitely getting a little bit rough oh actually it's not bad bearing does seem okay uh so anyway we're gonna put a new cover on here it's gonna be a fairly quick fix but when it's 10 o'clock at night nothing is quick at 10 o'clock at night especially when you're tired so that's what we're gonna get done here that bear doesn't feel too bad either okay bearings are good and they should be we just put brand new ones on last year so anyways they're on their way down with those parts because that's um a part that we didn't have and then we came back down and we thought we could take the bolt off and the bolt was stripped and we had to go back and so anyway i just got down here with the fuel wagon this is the fuel wagon by the way if you didn't know what the fuel wagon was i carry our toe to death up here with a little depth pump toolbox place for oil and bigger things fuel a little generator to run the fuel pump this fuel pump has a lot of pressure um if you're not careful it will lift it right out of your fuel tank and it will make one heck of a mess but uh with saying that let's get going i know i gotta shave it's getting bad i don't do seating beards i don't do playoff beards you know i don't like hair it's just that uh morning always comes early morning comes early like i said before how much of a pain in the butt these john deeres are to get up there's no real easy way of doing this you grab here you step here another handle right here another one right here you swing around like the circus alley soleil whatever it's called pop this thing off hopefully this doesn't fall out of its little pocket because it has before because all it is is right there and it can fall out and it's very fancy high quality john deere right there and then the same thing you grab up here put your foot there grab that other handle over here and then do the whoo swing around and then come back down over here that's what we do all right our fueling fired up our generator opened up our valve also fell in depth at the same time here one thing i do like is i do like the sight gauge i know you guys got some questions like mike why don't you just get like a fuel tanker like seriously like a tri-axle or a tandem fuel tanker like a whole truck an assembly well those are quite pricey those are quite expensive and then you have an engine to keep it going and then you got to have someone licensed to drive it trailers are cheap especially when you find used trailers real cheap and then we can have two and if we need to we can get a third one and then when we split off in the teams because we always split off in the teams everybody can keep their own fuel wagon and all their own depth and parts and so on so forth if you have one really really expensive fuel truck or even not even maybe you just got one cheap fuel truck then you still have one then you got to get two and you got two engines you got to keep running this works for us we can that's a thousand gallon fuel tank if you're wondering and a thousand liter total depth mike how long were that thousand gallon fuel tank last you ah we'll take most of that per day us anyways [Music] we could pretty much go a day on fuel on these tractors pretty much depending on how long of a day you want to go you cannot go a whole day on death so i guess maybe i shouldn't give the 10 50 such a hard time because the ten oh no i'm still going to get oh it's popped i'm still going to get that 1050 hard time because you can't you can you can barely go with two fills in a day fuel and death did i tell you how much i love depth you guys i think we're full check the pump off close the valve disconnect the battery so it doesn't run our battery did we pre-charge the battery it lasts us all cd okay i gotta wrap this up like how long does it take you to fill up i don't know 15 minutes something like that not bad checker oil oh see if i can focus on that oh maybe i can't hold on here guys maybe i can't focus on it you guys see the line there we go can you guys see that no you still can't see that okay see that line right there anyway we're good my camera or phone did not like that oh we must about be full let's get up here do our circus soleil let's bring this thing down just a little bit so we're not ramming speeding it so fast here let's see it in there oh oh it has an auto shut off so uh the nozzle has now shut off just like a gas station does okay so we're done now we got to take our nozzle fancy dancy cause john deere makes this so awesome don't you stay you stay right there okay all right guys we're done i just packed stuff up here okay you know i was just looking and looking around on my death tote here and i saw something floating in there so death is diesel exhaust fluid look at that that's a b what the heck how'd it first of all how to get in there and second of all i thought that was the only reason why we're using def to save the bees it clearly is hard on bees what the heck frick i feel like i've been lied to all right so now we're back here working on this uh auger um i brought some chain from the farm it's not new chain well actually it is new chain it's never been used but it's quite old and that's fine still a lot better than what we were working with oop [Music] um i'm waiting for frank who is bringing my seed and ashton seed because we're both empty he is bringing the the side grinder here to cut that off okay so now we we we literally just wait oh but i can hear something he's coming there comes frank he's bringing us our seed and also our when i said dewalt i meant milwaukee and we're gonna just cut this bolt off he's just lining up to get loaded because we're gonna get this thing fixed pretty quick i asked him if he had it when he brought down and he said no and he gave me a heart attack he's just joking with me my heart can't take that you brought the tools good sir here is the milwaukee with the cutting blade ashton would ashton would be upset that we're fixing this for her because she likes to fix stuff on her own she's like i can do it i'm a woman i can do it but you know what we're gonna get this done mostly because she's trying to pick up extra parts for us like that probably won't quite go through though will it it's the angles off okay so we probably don't actually we can leave that one on and then we're just going to put new bolts in i got bolts i got both like a bolts somewhere in my pocket here somewhere in my pocket um i'm just gonna put them right there for right now here then you actually have to put your hand up i can maybe do it too because see right there i'll put the right there it's coming through the top there it is gotta find the right spot there we go so mike why does ashton pick it up again uh she's picking up connectors because i brought some chain but we don't have connectors for it so she's picking up connectors and half links what's a half link it's just in case the chain isn't cut quite to the right length gives you a little bit more leverage what do you think about uh working with us it's weird that's like a loaded question i'm like i don't know i don't know how he's gonna answer this so i've known frank i think i told you guys for what is eight years now eight or nine years eight or nine years yeah so frank and i we've actually like traveled around did different things together uh it was fun went to the uk i went to france i got shingles not a good experience france was but shingles wasn't oh man that looks good do we need to put a washer on that one just put a washer should put a washer on this one um see if we can start one now yeah let's try maybe oof we'll use a long bolt yeah we can use the long one use this guy and now that it's on we got to put a set screw in here which apparently we must have lost or never had actually never had never had believe it or not so we're gonna have to find one this chain is gonna have to keep it on for right now we gotta get this cart loaded then we can get a set screw set screws this little thing right here a little bolt like this one like that guy except bigger got to go in here yeah that's what we're looking for so now we're cutting our chain and how we cut our chain to length is we wrap it around the sprocket to where we want it then we use a chain splitter most of you guys all know what a chain splitter is but for those of you who don't you just stick this uh lat so say you want to take out i don't know you're gonna you're gonna know by what time you measure it so say you wanna take off this one then you just couple this guy right on here like that he locks on and then with one hand you hold it in the other hand you go twist it twist it twist you see and by doing that it actually threads this out see that little pointer see that i don't know if you guys see that it will push these right out done that easy that is you like my desk here you like my uh my table just like that we are fully operational these little pesky chains were they were they were proven to be a bit of a challenge now the chain looks old but i assure you it's actually new he's just been sitting in the shop for a long time oh that looks that looks good ashton's on our way down here with some more parts thing is i haven't told her that i already have chain and i haven't told her i already have connectors and i haven't told her i already have half links so she's coming she's right there she's coming down the road she has no idea that we have it together yet
