From 56 pounds to 12 pounds! || STEVE HARVEY

not everybody I want you to see something take a look at this picture folks this is Dennis he's a miniature dachshund who used to weigh 56 pounds that's five times his normal weight but thanks to his owner he's made a remarkable transition and that my friend is what we call good news I'm here with Dennis's owner book hi Brooke how did how did he gain so much weight well I rescued Dennis from a elderly gentleman who fed him excessive amount of food and it's not your normal food of dry dog food or treats it was things like burgers pizza ramen noodles everything he ate he also fed Dennis so it was really sad because when I first met him you could tell he was really depressed and not happy for his size and he only took a few steps and he had a rest for a breather so you put him on a diet yeah a very strict diet it's just dry dog food natural dog food treats like carrots or green beans I gave him something healthy that wouldn't put a damper in his diet and I introduced exercise into his normal routine and all those towns just melted off he went from a very depressed little dog into a ornery little thing that loves to boss everybody around so how was Dennis today he is excellent he currently is 12 pounds that's a total of 44 pounds he's lost and he has had two more pounds to go his go away 210 pounds his goal yeah he's go away it's 10 pounds yes for sure so and he's very happy little dog and I'm very grateful for all the support I have gotten with people donating money so Dennis can become a normal dog Oh sto veterinary hospitals a teaching hospital and that's where Dennis had all his surgeries he's had three surgeries all together to remove excess skin and fat so yeah so yet a tummy tuck and butt lift a tummy tuck and a Butt Lift yeah you know even with all those surgeries and to remove all that excess skin and fat and never removed his love of food his appetite still remained the same he loves food it still does a little happy dance when it comes to mealtime really well Dennis is here yes yeah this is him before let's see what he looks like now it's good look Brooke has done an amazing job with Dennis and to help him share those final two pounds we want to give her this Oh fire hydrant no I mean another 500 it's a dog track k9 treadmill and a year supply of diamond fat dog food but that's not all folks because doctor pet care is also donating five thousand dollars to Dennis's legacy at The Ohio State University of fund that Brook started to help other pets in trouble oh wow I didn't expect that Thank You Brooke great job with Dennis thank you very much continued success we'll be right back folks
