and the in the legend but no chair and pray yep five five years old put on a chair so you and me with our moms we have a rich heritage to us and we were just talking about yeah but we have to be we can't fill our mom's shoes no and that's not how God made us God made us with some really unique and distinct things that are magnificent so I know one of the unique and distinct things is you have a very cool new book out called freedom beyond comprehension and and that's an amazing but mom I know you had some insights from that book well it's severing your past and that's where I think Joan has a revelation that will help everyone watching this program can you be free from the memory of your past can that forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth to those things which are head can that work for you oh when you watch this program you will be free trust me you will be free so when we talk about the past do you have some personal memories from the past anymore mentally but I think people want to know is there hope that I could forget some of that some of them salutely something that's a very simple recent thing is I went into a church in the Houston area and I saw across the room a pastor and I thought that pastor really hurt me he really hurt me man I remember he hurt me I remember what he did mm-hmm you know and it was so neat because God just wiped that away and I didn't even ask him to wipe it away but God just totally wiped that away which was really neat and in the process of of you know a lot of mostly familiar with my testimony I know you guys are for sure because you've lived it with me that in in the year 2000 I went through a very horrific time in my life of the realization of my now ex-husband was being unfaithful to me and and lived the life of a homosexual and God loves homosexuals he hates homosexuality but he hates you know everything else too you know and fornication and everything like that and and all the different things that happened coming up to that point and the different areas of things that were not the best in our lives and where the children were concerned and it's so amazing with you know in discovering what he was doing on the computer and that was my only experience with pornography is that being exposed to me what he had been doing on the computer and and I went I was kind of like walking back through this about six seven months ago and I was describing you know the realization of what was actually going on in my home and and I looked at the computer screen and the computer screen was blank and I thought this is so cool because he wiped out any memory I've ever had which that was the only time of anything pornographic has totally wiped that out of my mind and the different situations that like the girls and I can get together and it's like remember when we did this remember when we did this and when we went to why Mary when we you know did all these fun little things you know as a family and all the bad is gone now the pain of not just the pain of it but the memory of the bad has gone - which is so awesome and if you're watching the program you say ooh I really hurt from my past call us we'll pray with you because if Jesus can heal Joan and I know pretty much this past he can heal you it's the same Jesus call us memories and there are people that have memories of stuff that happened as a child mm-hmm stuff that and they and it just seems to continually trip them right and and how did how does God how does God help with that it's amazing because like we had one guy come in and you know I'm trying I'm not gonna try not to be real graphic but it's what happened to him it's not you know I think I can say it but this guy came in and he was schizophrenic and you know I didn't know that when I prayed for him and so I prayed you know for a lot of different things than the end he says um I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia and so schizophrenia is brought on because it's something horrific that happened to them and he's not he was like 45 years old had not nor known a normal day in his life and so later I found out that at 3 years old his mother doused herself with gasoline and said watch this lit herself oh no and of course burn herself to death that's how he was at 3 then his father got him and I won't repeat what his father did but what his father did made that look like nothing and and how he was used through the years and you know he was in a home to keep him safe and so then I found that he had that so we removed the label of schizophrenia we'd already dealt with a trauma already dealt with a memory of the past and what God has done he's now praying for people and people are getting healed and he was like wow I knew God could use her meeting me but God could really use me okay there is powerful powerful testimonies in here and that a few years ago I was mentioned the reason I was saying a few years ago is because now there's history in this testimony and a few years ago I was ministering and this guy came up and he had a lot of neck problems and he heard it in Vietnam and and when his helicopter went down and he goes for 43 years my helicopter has been going down every night with me in it you know every night every night just the nightmares diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder so if you didn't they can't they diagnose you with it but the doctors have no cure for trauma or stress and you've got to get rid of the root in order to get really really free so I prayed for his neck his neck had been compounded and just crushed so he grew like two inches right there God gave him all-new vertebrae and discs in his neck and back I pray for God to erase the memory of his experience in Vietnam just remember the good times of Vietnam and and he'll remember the experience of that long story short he gave his life to Jesus that night has not had one more nightmare in the last several years of that totally wiped that away fact he remembers he went down experience gone and this is what God wants to do is that there's so many people that are being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and they're being labeled and they start living up to that label well you know it's because of my post-traumatic stress disorder okay well don't say my don't don't claim it as yours you may have been diagnosed with it but what you need to do is you need to ask God to remove the label that medical people have put on you then in addition to that have God just totally erase all that memory in the actual experiences of that I've had people that have been anything from being raped from being molested being abandoned and all the fear of all of that and they relive this and they relive the last moment when their husband walked out or their wife walked out and they relive it and beat themselves up for years and it's time people get free of this and you're watching and you say can i really be healed this is too good to be true but it is true it's Bible all the way call us for prayer Sarah don't you agree yeah God can do in yeah anything yeah and you know I think some of those those labels you know the post-traumatic stress disorder the schizophrenia bipolar bipolar have you had any experiences with people that have had obsessive-compulsive disorder absolutely because that's a little tricky to write and that's very very common well what a lot of times it happens number one brought on by trauma number two there everything is a wreck in their life and in their head and and everything is just kind of like chaotic and they become so compulsive in the area of being in control a lot of times it also affects the bowels in the area of constipation can't control the things around me but I can sure control that and it brings on constipation but what happens is that that they become so compulsive in the area because their life and their past is a mess that they have to try to be in massive control and control everybody around them and so what happens is you need to get rid of the trauma whatever the trauma was and the shambles of your life before and give all that to God ask God to erase a penny of your past and remove you know the OCD label and it's like god I don't want to be in control I want you to be in control and God can give you a new label and remember that God can give oftentimes to deal with trauma whether it's rape I've seen so many so many so many people deal with eating disorders it's a control issue oftentimes it comes out of a sexual abuse and so they try it well I couldn't control that but I'm gonna control this and the OCD the same thing and so you may be watching and dealing with control struggles maybe you you have the need to be in control or a OCD all those labels and sometimes I think you know we hear this you just have to learn to live with it do you think that's true no you don't have to learn to live with it I'm so glad I see people come in you know with bipolar and they leave totally completely free they'll it you know come in OCD leave free I mean totally free etc and you know and you'll see a total transformation of these people when they come in but see the the world and people of authority will say you have schizophrenia and they have all of the symptoms of it but you know and we can say yeah I do that's what's wrong with me and then they take it to be a part of them it's time we start not accepting it's like my schizophrenia my bipolar my arthritis no it's not yours give it an eviction notice and send it on its way but in regards to labels the world has put these labels on us cancer so the cancer comes with a death sentence or a death label well we need to start removing all these labels that the world has put on us don't learn to live with your back pain let's get rid of your back pain let's get rid of the fibromyalgia many times like fibromyalgia is brought on because of trauma and trauma comes in produces stress and then life itself produces stress and it produces stress hormone well stress hormones responsibility is to destroy the immune system that's why we have so many people that have a autoimmune deficiency diseases Wow and the only way that to combat or to destroy stress hormone is endorphins which is laughter they tell you you know if you've been diagnosed with cancer go rent a funny movie and laugh because that will combat the cancer it will combat this distress hormones by producing healthy you know happy hormones you know and I know or you can get our CDs and have a good time this lab yeah and but we've got to get rid of the effects of the trauma on our lives not only that but the memory and people that have had horrific situations and they constantly remember you know whether it be from Vietnam you know and they've been labeled post-traumatic stress disorder well you know you'll never get rid of it until you get rid of the trauma and the effect of the trauma because trauma settles in our body and it primarily settles in lymph nodes they're actually discovering this medically not just spiritually so I'm sorry excited that the medical field is finally understanding the effect of trauma and stress on our bodies and they're saying you know like if your insulin all of a sudden goes up a lot you know your sugar levels they say are you under a lot of stress I'm like yay the medical field is finally discovering this whereas spiritually we've been having to deal with this for a long time but you curse the spirit of trauma commit to go and then in the name of Jesus remove a label of OCD and father I give you control I don't want control anymore I give you control I have all these other areas whether growing up or whether current that are just out of control I give you control over that and you have that in your book every yes freedom beyond comprehension and severing your painful past you say I just that's too good to be true I don't think it could happen you need to get the book you call us and don't get one book get two you have friends who have problems and what could be better than to give them the truth that sets them free call right now say I've got to have it freedom beyond comprehension I want to get free of my painful past and you will not only get rid of it like with forgiveness but to forget it literally forget it because the enemy you hear you're out preaching and the enemy will come in and go don't forget you know you used to sell drugs you know and it's like oh yeah and just kind of like take steam out of people and it's like how can God use me because of my past God will use your past you know if you let but don't allow the enemy to use your past and that's what we've got to give to the Lord and it's so awesome because one of my favorite stories is is Paul now once again the Bible says God chooses to remember our sins no more which is great he has a phenomenal memory we need to choose to not remember them anymore and basically give him the gut and allow God to wipe them out where the story is is where Saul and Paul is concerned Saul was a bad boy he was a bad boy he would brought havoc on the church that many believed that he actually killed Christians he would haul him off to prison and then they never came back you know so something happened to them and so the church you know didn't really like him very much they didn't necessarily get an email or see in the post office but they knew Paul's face and they knew or saw in particular who he was well then all of a sudden Paul has this experience and he gets Jesus and you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior a road to Damascus experience he comes out and he says man I'm so excited you know I'm excited about what God has done for me and I just Christ as the Lord of my life I'm my Savior I want to travel with you Marilyn no and then they talk to - Reese and Sarah and they go I want to be your associate pastor no and I want to come to your home and have have fellowship and pray with you guys meet your children no you know no not gonna happen you know because all that the world knew of him was that he brought havoc on the church and you would kill Christians he's not coming to my house either okay and no way and so what happened is he gets so rejected betrayed hurt verbally abused by the church and then the government itself has discarded him so there goes his income you know and his livelihood and everything and so he in turn goes into the wilderness and he goes into the wilderness for two and a half years he communes with God and I'm sure the animals - and had a good time there and but he can he just commune with God and he didn't even have a Torah with him he had nothing you know because if you won the tour it was in the temple he didn't have his own little you know pocket Bible to take getting to the wilderness he just had gone and he went into that wilderness and he would pray and dhaba give him revelations and you know in different things he was having a good time and and yet he had the call of God in his life but he himself had to make the decision to stay in the wilderness to stay in the past to stay in his comfort zone or to get out and do what God's called him to do what a waste if he just stayed in there oh that this is in your book I love what a waste if he had chosen to just listen to the world what the world thought about him basically what he thought about him so he goes back out does it go to the Christians doesn't go to the government he goes to the Gentiles and it has an incredible where that's concerning and then it's like who's gonna read my book I thought I thought about this is you know I've got 13 books out now that's pretty amazing and they're all bestsellers which is really awesome but who I thought actually earlier many years ago who would ever buy one of my CDs or who would ever read my book and I'm like this is amazing how what they're reading but they're getting set free too which is awesome but what's neat is that Paul himself you know and coming to the edge of like do I leave the wilderness do I stay in I know I'm gonna get hurt if I go out there but I know God's called me and I've got to get out of of this comfort zone and you have a destiny don't stay in the wilderness get out you say I don't know how to get out that's why you need to get the book I mean you should call right away and say I've got to have that book because to get free from your past and then to reach for the things that are ahead for you hey this program is in God's divine plan for you and this book is a part of it you got to get it that's true so how do you think Paul came out of that wilderness he finally I know that God prompted him probably for a lot longer than just a second and so he gets to the edge and he goes I'm gonna do what God's called me to do and Vail Curtain whatever it is he says I'm gonna go out there I Paul an apostle called by God not by man and I'm gonna do what God's called me to do but in order for me to do that I have to forget those things which are behind me he had to forget that he killed Christians not just to mention everything that people did him but he had to forget what he did forgetting those things which are behind me I'm gonna press I'm not gonna just kind of better today I'm gonna press and in the high calling that God has for me Wow that is so powerful and and that's all in this book the other thing I love about this book it's not only you talk about Paul but I love the fact that you give current awful awful thing to experience and to try and work around I think about sometimes when I was afraid when I was growing up and things that I've feared that who weren't necessarily true or accurate or stuff that you just kind of like wow that makes me scared and and I really don't believe in any way shape fashion reform that God wants us to be afraid I remember when I was in college my dad confronted me one night and he said you know Sarah you're afraid and if you run from fear now it will follow you for the rest of your life and clearly that was a very defining moment for me it was coachable my dad was awesome and God totally used him to help me but I know that fear God doesn't want us in any way shape fashion or form to be controlled or absolutely manipulated or dominated by
