Found Possible Murder Weapon Underwater in River While Scuba Diving! (Police Called)

hey what's up guys Jake here today I'm in the Chattahoochee River located in Columbus Georgia and today I'm going to be scuba diving for lost valuables oh hello Brandon just tuned in the jungle oh yeah it is so good to be back we haven't been to the river in so long of people even asked and we're still friends Jake we were like you guys haven't filmed it so long together but today we're back we're gonna be searching for treasure while we have been gone somebody has said they have lost a phone and a GoPro there's been a bunch of raptors going down the river lately so there's probably a bunch of stuff down there for us to find it it you've said a minute go treasure that no I'm not you bought me a jet ski and it's only right that I ride the jet ski all day so you always have fun you find all the treasure you want I know the treasure right here is all I need right here fun man terrible idea oh gosh oh gosh oh my thank God wait japa thumbs up if you guys want to see another scuba like it's in pretty good condition and there is a sticker right here so it had to be a recent drop and the guy must have dropped it when it was brand new to you it's unfortunate for him but I got and I think we're gonna find some really good into here man this is the first bridge for whitewater rapids up there so all stuff could settle right here so I'm gonna dive down see if I can find a few nice things and then if not again [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we found a whole bunch of stuff today but i'ma show you guys my favorite thing I found today check this out I found a super old gun man like there is no telling how long this has been in a river for I don't know what the name of this pistol is but if you guys have an idea what it is let me know in a comment section below please it's crazy that it's in two pieces people I broke it on I know I mean I think what's crazy is like just the caliber it is so tiny you can see like where the actual bullets went in and it's such a tiny caliber it might be a 22 but honestly it looks a lot smaller than yeah it doesn't anything like this is literally like a little pocket pistol put it on my hand it's not even bigger than my hand this gun is so small and when I think about it like it's it might be old enough to be used back in the gambling days here in Phoenix City and if you guys don't know it's called like the Phoenix City story but they're used to be like a huge gambling thing here and people were actually shot and murdered and dumped into the river and this could have been one of those pistols used back in the day I don't know it might be a stretch but this gun could possibly be tied to maybe some of those gambling days back in the past but if not I mean it's still such a cool fine man to find a real gun is always an amazing feeling I'm a little heartbroken that I broke it but you know the be honest with you guys when I hand this over to the police I don't know if they're gonna be able to use anything off of this it's just so old even though this weapons super old and they might not get anything off of this the most respectful thing to do is to hand this over to the police because this could be tied to some kind of criminal case like someone could have lost your life and then this weapon right here could have been used and maybe the police could like get something off of this we're gonna call the police right now hand it over and we'll see if we get more information later down the road call 9-1-1 right now I can't call the Columbus State Police Department because they're actually closed this after hours so the only thing I can do is call 9-1-1 tell them it's not an emergency and tell them I found a weapon in a river so let's go ahead and do that right now go ahead and put it on speaker here hey how you doing my name is Jake this is not an emergency but I found a pistol in the river and I want to hand it over to the police why water great day today consonant so police are coming right now we're gonna hand over the weapon when they come here so I thought it'd be a good idea to ask a few people how they think this gun ended up in the river so let's go around ask a couple people and get their opinion that's definitely a murder weapon someone has died because of that ended up in the river because it killed somebody yeah 22 revolver then drop no shells not too loud that's what mobsters used to kill people right behind the ear I was talking about how maybe back in the gambling days they use that exactly that's that's that's a murder weapon right there back in the day that should be on a year what others yeah I think you don't see much I know that's the belt I won for being the rap guide of the week just a week yeah head of the year man nice this is my friend Ian he's a raft guide here at whitewater Express in I found this gun man and your opinion how do you think he ended up in the river well this gun was probably uh carried by a raft guide on the trips to fend off the rabid raccoons all right probably shot one of them and threw it in the river that's a great that's a great another raft got here sunshine all right in your opinion how do you think this ended up in the river um well it gets pretty dicey out there so you always got to stay strapped with your cap gun that you got it Walmart you always got to add your extra grip on it so that when you're slippery you can kappa dude or if another raft is like coming at you and you're trying to steal their tip you can just take it just like that man shoot the net just bang right there it's so funny how we went from like gangster mob to like raccoons so like we're shooting rafts that was some interesting answers but let's go ahead and ask some more people how they think this gun ended up in the river so there's my friend Dan here Dan how do you think this ended up in the river what are you thinking I don't know where'd you find it I don't anything Bridget I'm here giving him buried and I think it may have been probably part of some crime that they need to get rid of it and shoot just toss it yes I know that's what makes us me I'm gonna tell you right now my prints my friend's prints are all on this thing I don't think that's gonna matter this super old it's not working anymore but it's just super deteriorated and arrested man and when I picked it up and actually snapped and I actually have video proof of where I found it so if anyone needs to hook up to know where the location was exactly maybe that could help with some case like I said it's super old but I was even thinking this could have been used back in the days you know when the gamblin happened here yeah but really cool right I don't know if there's a serial number on this thing we're gonna hand over the pistol to the police officer here but thank you so much sir thank you guys appreciate it I appreciate everything and absolutely and feel free to call they don't need to use it man I'd love to have it for the collection but hopefully it maybe could help something yeah I have a good one okay that was awesome that's the first time they've rolled up with the lights on that was dope I was awesome and the officer was super nice and we handed over the pistol to the police officer there but he said if they don't need it but if they don't need it
