foreign so in a minute we're about to go for some extremely hot laps in the valkyrie AMR Pro with none other than Formula One driver Nico hulkenberg and as a Top Line overview this car is capable of 2 000 kilograms of downforce you heard that right 2 000 kilograms of downforce it is running Michelin LMP that's Le Mans prototype developed slick tires the reason they run these isn't just for the Slick surface is that the sidewalls of these are designed to cope with levels of downforce such as this so that they'll actually compress under the amount of load which a car of this statue would develop when we say carbon breaks these are actually Carbon on carbon brakes it's not the kind of carbon Ceramics which you can spec with your average Supercar and there's a high mixture of downforce from the top of the vehicle but also ground effect from underneath the vehicle and just check out the diffuser on that have you ever seen have you ever seen a diffuser like that to be the idea of this car is that it is the most extreme of what is possible for I guess a civilian to purchase an experience on track outside of maybe getting hold of an xf1 car the only difference is in an F1 car it's just unbelievable we don't often have to use the swear bleeper on this channel but on this thing I'm gonna have to use it a few times [Laughter] the the braking is like defining like it is we talk about late breaking right yeah that's as close as you're gonna get to an F1 experience for sure with an F1 driver as well helps braking forces was pretty serious aren't they that's like it's relative but yeah there are some things yeah I think earlier they looked in the data and you said like two and a half G and cops right and breaking wise do you know what we would get okay but I think braking might be three in like a longitudinal really wow so it makes a big difference though if you drive alone or if you have an extra pie really yeah yeah obviously a cliche question but how how is it compared to an F1 car is it miles away or is it beginning to feel you're starting to get the Dynamics starting to feel because the aerodynamics work for you here in this car yeah and the power to weight ratio is obviously also similar to a formula one right but still you know at the end of the day your formula one is still together a couple of levels I think now just to give you an idea through cops we're about 200 kph yes we arrived with 280 290 Formula One turns in at that speed but stays flat and just scrubs the speed and stays it doesn't blows my mind by almost 100K page faster in cups are you serious yeah okay so it is a difference yeah yeah but still you know this is pretty pretty serious for yes wow there's not many more attractive but no go as quick as this so what would you do if this was your car how would you have it tweaked how would you how would you change it you know he wants the TC if they're going to turn off okay turn off TC yeah what about the front end at times it felt a little bit under yeah yeah they're from this from this it's not dialed in enough I'd say it needs more front end you need to shift the error balance a bit a little shift of brake balance yeah um yeah with a couple of tweets set up you can get easily a couple of seconds again yeah a couple of seconds but even still I mean it's not hanging around is it okay I don't have the words I've said this a few times on the channel over the years that there becomes a performance window where your vocabulary and the performance seem to outweigh each other and in this instance I'd I don't even have anything to really compare it to it's a few years ago I was incredibly fortunate to be invited to drive an actual F1 car I think it was the last of the naturally aspirated cars but because I'm not an F1 driver I wasn't able to get the full use out of what an F1 car is capable of Nico on the other hand not only is an F1 driver but for him this is almost slow so he was able to get 10 tenths out of it so to be able to feel and what a privilege I want an honor to be able to feel what that car is like at its very limit I've got to be honest with you anyone who is lucky enough to be able to get into one of these first of all phenomenal but I'm trying to struggle to think who's going to be able to get the performance out of that if you're not an F1 driver it is absolutely insane the braking the braking performance because as you've got as I mentioned the the start 2 000 kilograms of downforce is available on that thing at higher speeds at that speed the pressure of the tires which is being forced into the tarmac gives you so much braking performance without any loss of grip at all so that initial hit of braking is just incredible and then turning crikey I felt muscles in my neck on those few laps which I didn't even know I had I've honestly got a slightly stiff neck after that it's ridiculous um sound of it naturally aspirated V12 11 000 RPM the engine is a stress member of the tub so the vibration through the chassis into your spine is absolutely outstanding it's just unlike anything I've ever experienced and as I touched on at the start the best thing about it is two-seater I can't think of anything and I'm generally trying to struggle here what does that with two seats I don't think anything actually it's just unbelievable thing so yeah well done asked the Martin and uh I'm gonna go have a strong cup of tea and sit down for a minute
