Fix VAC Insecure Error in CS2 | Easy Guide

in this quick video I'll be showing you how to fix the insecure error when you're trying to start up CS2 the solution is very simple first of all if you're launching the game through a shortcut make sure you're not launching it from a shortcut that points to the actual exe file itself rather it should be a steam shortcut for example to create a steam shortcut locate CS2 right click hover over manage and choose add desktop shortcut you should see that when we right click the shortcut properties in this tab you'll see URL steam etc etc this is what should look like if for some reason you instead navigated to where the game is game bin wi64 CS2 and you're launching it through this directly or you created a shortcut to this as such you may see that right click properties it shows up with a full path this is not correct and this is going to lead to an issue delete these shortcuts rather and create them directly from Steam it's as simple as that on top of this if you're still getting the issue first of all make sure to right click the game properties and on the general tab at the very bottom make sure in the launch options you don't have anything that says hyphen insecure as such this will cause the game to run in insecure mode and of course stop you from playing competitively and give you that error if you find insecure delete it just like that also if you notice anything you don't recognize select that text and remove it too it's good practice now everything should be fixed anyways that's really it hopefully you found this video useful thank you all for watching my name's been troubleshoot and I'll see you all next time Cham
