Fix Autoexec Not Working CS2 (+ Other Exec cfg Files)

if you're playing CS2 and you set yourself up a config file whether it's an auto exac or something else and when you try to run it for example exac autoexec.cfg you might get an error or nothing happens at all if you do receive an error it likely be something along the lines of input service exec couldn't exec unable to read file that's what I'll show you how to fix in this video first of all we'll close CS2 and navigate across to where it's installed in Steam I'll right click CSO over over manage and choose browse local files this will take us to the CSO install folder but of course we want CS2 to get them open up the game folder followed by csgo now we're in the correct directory game CSO not just csgo and aside if you will'll open the config folder where we'll find all of our different configuration files here if you created your auto exact file or whatever it is but it's not here now you likely created it inside of a different folder that being the csgo folder follow by CFG inside of here you can see my auto exec file and this is what I'm trying to use so I'll simply cut it using crl X head back two folders then game followed by csgo and CFG now we're in the correct folder just keep in mind that game csgo is CS2 and just CS goo no game is CS go it's a little bit confusing but it's simple once you get the hang of it anyways that's about it for this super quick guide hopefully this helped you M's being troubleshoot and I'll see you all next time ciao
