Fix Update KB5035853 Not Installing On Windows 11 (Version 23H2/22H2)

hello guys welcome to my Channel today in this video I'm going to show you how to fix when you're unable to install this update that is KB 503 5853 so if you're unable to install this update on your windows 11 computer then please follow the steps shown in this video now the first step is to start app Readiness service now for this type in services in Windows search box and then click on Services now over here you can see app Readiness service so make a double click set startup type to automatic or you can set it to manual so you can set it to manual or automatic then click on apply now click on start if highlighted and then click on okay now you can select this and then make a right click and then click on restart now once this is done now you can try to update your windows 11 but still not updating the next step is to move when r agent folder to different locations so open File Explorer go to this PC open C drive now over here if you see this dollar win re agent folder you can perform this step if you don't see this folder you can skip this step you can follow the next step but if you see this folder that is Win re agent folder make a right click create a backup first so you can copy this file now once you copy it you can move it somewhere so I will just paste it on the desktop now once I have I have a backup over here then once you have the backup now you can delete this folder make a right click and then click on delete and then try to update your windows 11 now once the update is complete if you want you can put the file you can put the folder back to the so once you delete it you can go to Windows update update your windows 11 restart your computer and if you want to put the folder back you can put the folder back once the update is complete now still it's not updating then please follow the rest of the steps shown in this video now the first step is to run update troubleshooter for this go to the start menu then click on settings click on system and then scroll down click on troubleshoot now click on other troubleshooters now over here you can see Windows update in front of it you can see the Run option click on run and once the trouble shot is complete reach start your computer and then update your windows 11 once again now the next step is to restart Windows update and background intelligent transfer service for this type in services in Windows search box and then click on Services Now find Windows update in the list make a double click on Windows update and then make sure startup type is set to automatic so set it to automatic and then click on apply click on start if highlighted and then click on okay with Windows update selected over here click on restart the service now once done find background intelligent transfer service and then make a double click on background intelligent transfer service and set it to automatic click on apply click on start if highlighted then click on okay now again with this selected over here click on restart the service now once done now try to update your windows 11 once again now still you're are unable to update in that case use Windows 11 installation assistant for this copy this link the link is provided in the video description open this link in a browser it will take you to Microsoft website here you can see Windows 11 installation assistant click on download now now run this exe file click on yes to now this will load WIndows 11 installation assistant now if there is any pending update you will see the option to install the update so if you see the update or install option click on it and then update your windows 11 now if Windows 11 installation assistant is not opening in that case you can go to download location go to downloads and then make a right click on Windows 11 installation assistant then select properties now go to compatibility Tab and then put a check on the box which says run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 7 from the list and then click on apply click on okay and then make a double click and then open Windows 11 installation assistant and then update your windows 11 now the next step is to use Microsoft update catalog so copy this link the link is provided in the video description open this link in a browser it will take you to Microsoft website now write down the name of the update that is KB 503 5853 click on search and then install the correct update now over here I have x64 base system I have version 23 H2 Windows 11 so this is the right one for me you can check it out you can go to settings and then once you go to settings you can go to system and then you can go to about and over here you can see see what kind of system you have so in my case it's 64 based operating system so this is the right one and you can check the version which version you have so you can just type in wiver that is w i n v r in Window search box and then click on wiver and over here you will see the version in my case it's version 23 H2 so I have Windows 11 version 23 H2 x64 base system so this is the right one to download for me so if you have version uh like over here if you see 22 H2 so instead of 23 H2 if you have 22 H2 x64 based system then this is the right one for you for me it's version 23 H2 x64 based system so click on download now once you see the screen click click on this blue hyperlink and once this download is complete you can click on this file and you can run this file so let the download complete first and once the download is complete click on it and you can install this update manually and then restart your computer still your facing the problem in that case you can reset Windows update components for this copy all these commands these commands are provided in the video description so copy till here and then open notepad on computer and then paste all the command in notepad now go to file then click on save as and then set the location as desktop name this file as wfix dobat and then for save as type select all files and then click on Save now go to desktop over here you can see W fix file make a right click then click on run as administrator make sure that you're opening this file as an administrator click on yes to allow now this will open command prompt and first of all it will stop all the Windows update services and then it will run some scans now there are a couple of scans so the scan will take some time once the scan is complete it will restart all the Windows update services and then it will close this command prompt automatically this will close and once the process is complete make sure that you restart your computer and after the system restart update your windows 11 once again now the last step is to use media creation tool so if nothing is working you can use media creation tool to update your windows 11 go to this website here also you will find media creation tool click on download now and then run this exe file click on yes to allow now this will load WIndows 11 media creation tool now click on accept by default Windows 11 would be selected click on next select ISO file then click on next you can save the location you can set the location as desktop and then click on Save over here now once the download is complete click on finish and then go to desktop find Windows ISO file make make a double click on Windows IO file then run the setup file make a double click on setup file click on yes to allow this will load WIndows 11 now and here you can see install Windows 11 click on next it will check for update then click on accept again it will check for update now before the installation you will see the screen which says ready to install and by default the option to keep personal an app would be checked when this is checked you will not lose any data on the computer click on install after the installation log to your computer so one of the steps shown in this video should help you to install this
