Fix SQL Server Error : A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred

hello everyone in this video i will show you how to fix the following error a network related or instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to sql server so this error may occur if the microsoft sql server is not installed in this case the solution is to install the server so to install the server we need to go to the browser and here we have to type sql server now we need to go to this first link it is on microsoft.com and in this page we have to scroll down and we can download the express edition so we can click on this download button then we need to save this installer and we need to execute it but in my case the sql server is already installed so i will cancel this download so if the microsoft sql server is already installed it is possible that it is not running so in this case the solution is to start the server so to start the server we have to click on run and here we have to type services.msc then we have to click on ok it is also possible to start this application in another way so let's click on cancel and let's open the command prompt and here we have to type services.msc now let's hit enter and in this window we have to find sql server so here we have the sql server service and in my case it is running so if it is not running we have just to click on the start button in this area so in my case it is already running so this is not the problem so if the server is already running it is possible that i am using the wrong instance name so to find the correct instance name of the server we have to go back to this application it is called services.msc and here the instance name is available between parentheses so in my case the instance name is sql express so here let's click on ok and here we can see that i am using the wrong instance name so i have to remove zero one now let's click on test connection and here we can see that the connection is successful and we don't have the error anymore
