how to fix a network related or instance specific error in sql server 3 way

[Music] [Music] start sql server management studio select server name browse for more expand the database engine this is the local server name click on ok now authentication as closer authentication login essay and password is sql server authentication password then click connect yes this is the error i'll show the server network related for instance specific error occurred while establishing a connection to sql server there are many reason to happen this error i will solve three of them reasons are sql server service does not start network connectivity problem incorrect server name okay now i'm going to show how to solve the error of the first one as soon sql server service does not start solution is a startup sql server service right click on the my computer or this pc click on manage yes expand the services and applications click on services and then go to the sql server service yes sql server sql server option underscore pc the server name yes you can see the server and the service sql server is stopped so it's displaying the button start so i have to start the sql server service so that it will connect and it will uh erase the message okay it's starting yes it's started successfully now start a sql server and connect uh once again database engine and browse for more server name from the database engine click on your server name okay authentication as well as authentication login essay and password response configuration for series if you have windows notification you can say like windows authentication as well okay connect yes it's connected successfully let's create a database for test right click on the database folder [Music] yes for the database name i just for the database name is my taskdb and click on ok yes the database is created successfully [Music] second one is network connectivity problem now i'm going to show how to solve network connectivity problem this is the uh network pc and my sql server is in this pc so if uh when i saw this error i have to check the network connectivity in that case click on the network icon change adapter setting double click yes details see that this is the iphs this is your ipads of the server so i have to think this if you address click on run command and just uh ping this ip address right thing 172.17.3 dot whatever your ip address see that there is no error in server connectivity now the status uh the display that it is okay but try again if uh it's connectivity problem then hot mess will display yes see that it's displaying the masses request timed out it means the connectivity error you should solve this connectivity then it will uh it is this problem is this error automatically okay [Music] the third one is server server name incorrect server name so let's check see that this is the server name right server name if i put some extra character now it is not server name incorrect server name then it will display the i mean if your server name is not accurate then you'll display this message network later instance specific error while occurring while establishing the connection okay now i just remove this character to get accurate server name just browse for more click on browse and expand the database engine this is the local server server name if you want to take the server name from network then network servers these are the servers you can select and click ok or if you add local server then local server okay yes now authentication as with authentication login same password just virtual authentication password just click on connect yes it's connected successfully thanks for watching this tutorial [Music] you
