to have an honest moment a very open honest transparent moment i'm having withdrawals to the point that i miss the body of christ i know a lot of people have a lot of issues with the church but i love the pride and for everyone that is watching i want you to know i miss your smile i miss your touch i miss your presence but i know that god is sovereign if i don't know anything else i know that he is sovereign and the bible is clear the earth is the lord's even in the midst of whatever i might be going through i praise god because i know that he is in control all right so pastor jamon and i were talking upstairs and we were saying this is a lot of information that what we're giving you today is a lot and we probably could have taken this sermon and made five sermons out of it but we're going to give it to you as much as we can in one dose for those of y'all that take notes this is really a good place to take some notes you know we could talk about fresh start we could talk about new beginning but i want to say this to you some things won't be fresh some things won't be new until certain things are fixed and we are good at avoiding fixes um i want you to hear my heart and we're going to have an honest moment you can cut the music um so this week since this pandemic i decided to literally address certain issues so i literally signed up to see a counselor and i know something all the deep pray about it i am a praying man but in prayer the lord told me go get you some help and this week when i went to go see my counselor we addressed the issue and i had to be honest with myself that i am one to avoid certain situations i hate conflict so i could put something in the corner and leave it there and if i leave it there it's not a fire but i smell smoke it's not flaming but i feel smoke and he said well john why do you leave it there or how are you able to pay attention to leave it there without addressing it i says i have a way of making myself feel that i must stay focused on this and leave that so i can deter it i could push it to the side avoid it and continue on like everything is good but i smell smoke and it must be addressed we are good at shouting and speaking in tongues and laying hands and continue to have church without fixing things that are fixable and we justify it by adding god to it just because you put god in it don't mean he in it come on can i get everyone to say oh i'm going to fix it come on come on i need to come out of your mouth y'all won't even say it even a teen in the building won't say it come on say i'm going to fix it today i want to show you something and we're going to talk about jacob it's amazing that i've never paid attention to this but the lord had passed jamon and i noticed something do you not know that if you read from genesis 25 to chapter 50 you'll see jacob's life in 25 chapters which means he takes up half of the first book in the bible which means that we should really zone in on him because there's some life lessons in there one of the scriptures that i want to show you is we want to start with is genesis 33 and 1. look at the screen the bible says jacob looked up and there was esau coming with 400 million in other words pay attention to this this is his brother coming and it's been 20 years since he has seen him 20 years that a situation has been sitting in the corner that has not been addressed 20 years finally pay attention to this on the 21st year he is he decides you know what should i say god decide let's close this chapter it is 2021 and there's some chapters that need to be closed so that you can go on and be great you're good but you're not great and you've been called to greatness wow you got to get this ready can i give you five facts about joseph five facts pay attention to this number one he has a twin brother and those of us that talk to people who are twins we are taught that twins are tight some of them are grown and still dressing like i think that's crazy but hey that's what they do he's a fighter the bible says even when he's born he grabs the heel of his brother like you ain't leaving me in here and he comes out he's quiet what does it mean he stays up under his mother he's the one to stay in the house while his brother esau is in the field with his father so he's sitting up under his mama he's a soft one he in the house but he focused he's slick his brother coming out to feel he hungry and he says listen if you're hungry give me your birth right and i'll give you something to eat brother don't care about the birthright he gives over the birthright he give him something to eat he's slick he's focused because he realized that certain things i needed i need if i'm gonna make it him and his mama get together and he's persistent he gets his father watch me to speak the blessing over him pay attention it is to speak the blessing over him to speak the blessing of him watch me because when the oral blessing is released it can't be revoked some of y'all need to be careful who you let speak over you because once it is spoken it can't be pulled back i don't know about you but some of y'all you even have the power to speak to yourself i wish i could get at least a hundred of you all that assuming a hundred of you all that are on youtube send me or wherever you are even in the building can you just open your mouth and just speak the blessing 2021 is gonna be one of the best years of my life he must say come on i need you to release it in the atmosphere 2021 is going to be one of the best years of my life 2020 was hell but he brought me into 21 and i decree and i declare that 2021 is gonna be better than 2020 because once it is released it can't be revoked wow so now you got the birthright you got the blessing but now there's about to be a fight you got the birthright you got the blessing but now there's about to be a fight and god can allow pay attention to this please listen god can allow certain conflicts to come to get you to your destination that's a fight his brother realized you know what you got the birthright you got the blessing and i'm mad i need somebody to listen to me because some of y'all want the birthright you want the blessing but you don't want the fight you want the birth right you want the blessing but you don't want the fight you cannot be blessed and expect not to fight birth rights and blessing cause haters birth rights what does that mean birthright that you basically have like um power and authority in certain areas you cannot be powerful and have authority and be blessed and not think that you're not gonna have any enemies and you guys and you don't get to choose your enemy and the bible says that his brother esau look at the screen says in in genesis in in genesis um in in genesis 27 and 36 esau said is is he isn't he rightly named jacob this is the second time he has taken advantage of me he took my birthright and now he has taken my blessing he got my birth right in other words i look at what he got and i want it back i look at what he got and i want it back and the bible says watch me when this fight started we got a conflict this conflict is coming to get you out to chase you out watch me and the mother calls him and said listen i don't know what you're gonna do but you can't stay here with the birthright in the blessing you gotta go cause your brother wants you there stop what do you do when those that should love you and protect you want to kill you what do you do when those are supposed to embrace you want to take you out what do you do when those are supposed to love you becoming intimidated and just jealous of what you got do you hand over the do you give the blessing back do you give the birth right back just to get their acceptance and see we got some people that you're willing to trade your blessed life for somebody to like you watch me and they'll never go through what you went through to get what you got so his mother calls him and said go you got to get out of here look at the screen genesis 27-43 now then the she says now then my son do what i say flee flee get out of here run from your brother and go to my go to my brother's house laban inherent stay with him for a while for a while for a while for a while until your brother's fury is basically settled until his peace over here how long are you gonna have to be gone because where you're going is only temporary you're gonna see god where you are but remember this that is a temporary spot so don't settle for that he leaves pay attention he leaves on his way he lays down in between leaving his house going to his uncle's house he lays down he goes to sleep and god gives him a revelation a ladder descends from heaven angels are going up and down up and down up and down up and down angels are going like this and god start talking stop please listen to this sometimes god gotta remove people at your space just for you to hear him god is in your season of isolation those of you that have had some isolation doing this pandemic can you lift your hands and say speak lord your servant is listening please do what i tell you to do close your eyes one minute lift your hands and say speak lord speak speak speak speak your servant is listening and the lord tell him listen you're gonna be blessed he says you're gonna be so blessed your descendants are gonna go to the north the south the east and the west he said the world is going to be blessed through you i'm gonna open you up and channel blessings through you shut up i'ma i'm gonna use you so much i'ma channel blessings through you the earth is gonna be blessed because you live on it you see anybody in the building i just want god to bless me so that i can get houses and cars but i want those that come in contact with me to get a blessing too i want god to watch me use me to be the answer to somebody's prayer shut up question let somebody come next to me and i lay hands on them i pray for them i encourage them give me enough money that i could bless somebody with the money come over here i need you to come and say god use me for your glory use me for your glory use me for your glory and then the lord makes four promises pay attention pay attention to this four promises i am with you i am with you i am with you i am with you i am with you i know you are not at home but i am with you watch me not only am i with you what does he say and i will watch over you wherever you go i am with you i'm watching over you watch me promise number two i'm watching over you promise number three and i'm gonna restore you i'ma bring you back to what you left i'm i'm with you i'm watching you i'mma restore you and i'm not gonna leave you until i have done what i said that's a promise listen to this i am with you i'm watching you i'ma restore you and i'ma walk with you until i finish what i started you will never be out here by yourself i need you to hear the promises of god i am with you i am watching over you watch me wherever you go if you go to the valley low i'm still watching you if you're on the mountaintop my eyes are on you even when the enemy think he got you i'm still got my eyes on you i am with you i am watching over you get this and i'm gonna give you a reason to live i'm gonna restore you hey i'm gonna bring you back but watch me when i bring you back you're not coming back the way you left i'ma keep you in the seat of expectation and i'mma blow everybody mind that comes back in contact with you and when they look at you they will know that i am your god is there anybody that want god to get the glory out of your life lift your hands and tell god get the glory out of my life please do what i tell you to do you are in transition you are in transition you are in transition you are in transition and the lord told me to tell you i am with you i am watching you i'mma restore you and i'm gonna make sure you finish what i started i am with you i am watching know about you while i'm in this temporary response god i want everything that you have for me come on here and it's come on some of y'all are at a job it's not your permanent location but i want god to give you everything that you're supposed to have something like in a city it's not your permanent location but i want to make sure that you get everything that god has in store for you can you come on open your mouth obviously and say lord i am available and i am open give me everything that's mine give me everything that's mine give me everything that's mine give me everything that's mine so watch me so when he gets that he starts serving he starts serving he starts serving his uncle he starts serving his uncle while he's serving he looks and he sees a woman he falls in love he not only falls in love with her he also gets her sister i'll go we're not gonna even deal with that but then he has 11 sons he has 11 sons and watch me and then he starts getting wealthy he starts getting wealthy in a temporary place he starts getting wealthy in a temporary place he starts getting wealth in a temporary place he gets a family in a temporary place he gets favored in a temporary place and
