So today we're going to learn how to change texture colors in Photoshop and that's going to be for making chains for 5m um so first thing we're going to do is we're going to open up a new project I like to go with a 1,24 by 1024 I'm going to call it 10 by 20 or 1024 x 1024 for now on um make sure you follow along with this if you have to pause it pause it and then do it and then come back play do the the step that I'm doing just follow step by step it's pretty simple all right so um so that's 1024 by 1024 that's best for optimization like I said to have it like that versus a 1024 by 1056 or something okay make sure these are always in pixels not inches because if you put it inches it's going to be huge all right so first thing we're going to do is then we're going to go here um so let's say this this is our uh we're going to drag our image in here so this is our main click so it unselects it go to your next one let's go ahead and put uh some diamonds in here now the size of these don't matter just the ultimate size of this and if you're dragging off like this it's not a big word deal okay um try to make them smaller but if you have to it's not a big word deal because your image is only going to be saved to inside this Frame and what we're essentially doing you see like this color here green this color teal this color blue like those are all the same except for that color was change okay and then let's say uh click off if you don't click off it won't work right just so you guys know so I'll put this in here all right so if you look closely here okay um this the thing let me explain this to you guys so you guys understand so you see how small these diamonds are versus these diamonds and even these so whenever you make your chain if you know you're going to put something big on here like a pendant if you make it really little because you're putting a bunch of stuff on this one what's going to happen is you'll see all these dots larger in your chain like this okay versus if you make it you know if you're whenever you're UV editing if it's big it'll look similar to that versus that okay so just see you guys everywhere so first thing you're going to do is you're going to select your um object selection tools they're calling it a rectangular Marquee tool just go ahead and go here on your image okay that's right here go down here to your this is going to be uh a little contrast here solid color see that there how change colors all right select whatever color you want out of here I personally like red if you can't tell um so I'm going to go ahead and hit okay and then I'm going to go up here so I'm going to adjust via this here so you see how this one SEL this uh layer right here selected so now I'm going to go here okay now there's a few different things you can do all right um you can select any one of these you want to look better so some people use Hue but I personally believe some things with red come out like kind of pinkish so that's why I personally don't like that one but you know just kind of go through obviously you don't want a solid color right like so you don't want a solid color because then it's just solid red um so if you just kind of go through here and just kind of pick a good selection for you A lot of people they just tell you what they think they want to use like they'll just go to Hue and then that looks kind of pink when it's glowing um so like I personally whenever I'm trying to get a deep deep color I like darken and then what I'll do is then go to here to opacity so we were just here go to opacity and then you could just lighten lighten or dark inness okay that's going to give you like a deep deep red and then you're clearly clearly still going to see that texture there okay and even if um even if like these are essentially almost the same so um even like this is your full plate and you didn't add this like this is your background one and you didn't add this you can still use this Marquee tool here and select out a section of there okay and essentially that's all you have to do okay obviously you can still see the texture just as well as over here it all looks the same it's all similar and uh really that's it and then from this point you're just going to Simply go here go to file and then you're going to go to export quick export is PNG and that's your texture if you guys got any questions uh go over to the support page and then um I'll be more than happy to help you out or someone in the community all right thanks have a good one
