First impression of Jakarta MALLS | VLOG #101

did not expect this from jakarta hey we're written clear in the previous video we gave you our initial impressions on jakarta in this video we're exploring jakarta's malls don't forget to subscribe and enjoy good morning we've come to indomar to try and get an e-money card so that we can get on the mrt and use the the bus system in that but they're out of stock so we think we'll just walk we're going to the plaza today really want to check out the malls they look really grand from the outside so let's go have a look first up is tamarind street uh our hotel is so close we actually just walked from our hotel all the way here stopped at the innermouth to get a snack and now we're on our way to the plaza mall we haven't seen um as many fancy cars as we saw in singapore but we did just see our first tesla ever that was pretty cool never seen one before haven't got them in south africa apparently there are quite a lot of electric cars in jakarta [Music] [Music] i know you have questions i don't have answers clearly no matters baby i i know you want it better putting on the pressure cuz pressure's gonna get the [Music] even if i try and try [Music] tell me what to do say anything oh we just finished in the plaza what a really cool mall it's just so grand it's so big it's got everything you could want in terms of shops all the huge brands and honestly i feel like i'm literally in singapore right now it's just big streets big shops clean vibey really nice [Music] we're going from the plaza mall to the grand mall and this mall is split into east and west mall so it's obviously absolutely massive nothing's ever enough even if i try to try too hard [Music] [Applause] [Music] if we [Music] okay so we just finished up our little shopping spree at the grand mall we also visited the plaza mall oh my word amazing they have every shop you can think of when we lived in bali we thought that we'd have to fly all the way to kuala lumpur in malaysia to do our shopping or to singapore but we quickly realized that it's just a short flight to jakarta and you have everything you need like the malls are just as good super impressed did not expect this from jakarta or from indonesia really really awesome yeah i did a little bit of shopping because we travelers we can't really buy that much but just bought a few things that i like and oh and the city as well because it was super cold in the mall but yeah love that that's it for this short video stay tuned for the next one where we'll finally get to try out some amazing indonesian street food [Music] it's like a mini pal you
