First Hollow Halls, New NPC, And Beating The Pike Boss - Enshrouded Hollow Halls Update Part 8

welcome back to another stream this time we're back with Mo shrouded we're going to tackle Hollow Halls today we have been putting it off and well we tried it actually very early I think we were like level eight or nine and we got really far in but once we got I think 2/3 into the dungeon some of the enemies got uh kind of very strong so it was very difficult to kind of continue going but um we are going to go into it tonight I think I'm level what 15 16 or even higher so we levelwise we definitely should be up for it um there should be no problem with that at all so I'm just placing some of these last um flocks that I'm crafting here so this whole field will hold about 400 and I've been plowing away every now and then I queued everything up and um yeah this is something I just keep an eye on we also put some light out here which actually looks really good during the nighttime it's actually pretty cool hy2 how are you doing and yeah so we still going to have to do some Base building and everything I've been grinding away but it is time to do and Tackle everything so we crafted a lot of the Buffs that we're going to be using so um what we will be using from now on is no longer uh just the meat and I think what was it the meat and the water so what we're going to do instead is we're going to be using the meat for three Constitution we're going to be using the popcorn for seven stamina recharge so that basically it will allow us our stamina to recharge faster which is very handy and we're going to have health and endurance now these guys here are the big boys this one is 35 minutes long it's going to last for a long time the food is only 10 minutes but we have plenty with us and the popcorn is 5 minutes so we' taken about 20 with us as well so I might as well actually eat uh from here so we uh don't take anything from our Stacks oh where's all our food is it in here I think it's in here isn't it yeah it's in here there we go so we're going to eat from here use item use item there we go and I think did we make enough of the drinks I think we only made 10 drinks um at the time so that's the tea so basically we're going to have a full Farm out there with corn and chamomile team that should um be enough for us um for now so we got fully buffed up we have upgraded weapons we have upgraded tools um we are good to go we have copper axe copper pickaxe um a wax torch should be enough um I don't know if there's an update to a bandage but it can't hurt to maybe take um make sure we have a full stack of bandages O Okay I I don't think we need all of these guys here either so we have oh arrows yes so we definitely need more arrows than that that is for sure so let me actually just see if I can craft a few more so welcome to the stream Almighty mvus I hope locally now as well so I can run it on my machines so I don't have to rely on um GeForce U now so we have a lot of um oh the the poison arrows no no no copper arrows here so we don't have a lot of twigs and copper bars but we can craft one 50 more so again I'm I might be a I might have to take some other Arrows with me as well so let me just quickly check where where do I have my arrows nope I have no idea where I put my arrows oh maybe I put them here with the wings yeah because that makes sense so we have some Flint Arrows with us as well let's take them as a backup and can we make more shroud arrows because the Shroud hours are actually really really good we need more Twigs okay fine let me get some more Twix quickly I planted all the trees here look at this is a perfect Tree Farm telling you this is going to look amazing it's going to be a lot of hard work but it's going to look amazing um maybe it will load faster yeah sure I'm I'm on ssds but I'm pretty sure GeForce now is is using you know the I I yeah virtual I actually don't know yeah what the virtual equivalent is of ssds and all that so yeah we'll see so as I said my new pc will probably uh take until June or July not like that I don't have the money I have the money so the money is not the issue it's just that I need to um something else is going to happen before I can do that that requires me to um keep that money as a safety backup um and that will take about two three months and hopefully by June July that will be all over and then um I can focus on getting the new pc let's get a couple of more Twigs here how many do we have yeah six probably need 10 or something there we go very nice might as well pick the water actually up now that we only use the water for crafting um we're not going to waste it as much anymore there we go there's going to be a shock to your system you will uh I'm going to have to uh shave my beard as well and so you will see my my naked face which looks like a old looking teenager is uh going to be streaming so I'm going to have to keep my my face shaved for a couple of months as well about two or three then after that I will be coming back with a vengeance with a full beard and I will never shave again so that might happen within the next week so if in the next few days you see a stream and I look like a baby face I've warned you that will happen Okay so let's see can we make the shrouded arrows the shrouded arrows yes oh we only have one goo but that's okay because um are you still working in softare yes I do you just finished in software engineering very nice um but the job market isn't good where I'm at um I think it depends what you're focusing on um you know it's I don't really know another countries but I know that I worked in front end back end you know um both and in the moment I'm back in the back end I worked at the front end when before angular one so where you had to do a lot of things just with pure JavaScript and all that um I worked in backends you know now I'm heavily working in backends with backend services and um uh uh data uh gen and all that so but it really depends I suppose what level you're in as well and when you're starting I suppose it can be a bit of a um freeall Market where you have a lot of competition and then what language you dep depends as well what language you do where is the goo oh book dust yes we can make book dust let's oh we have so many of them yeah let's let's make about 40 B dust and then we can make um 10 goo yeah there we go see you soon and then we can make a few more of those excellent okay so how many of them do we have now we have 130 130 yeah okay that should be enough we should be mainly using our melee weapon anyway way um and there is repair stations so um it should be good because now my mouse I have the new mouse so our blocking will work it won't just randomly stop which is great and and let's go put this all in here where do I put things like that I have no idea probably in here no that's the green goo not the red Goo uh not the blue goo suppose let's put this goo in there and put the Boke dust in there as well very good and the water where did I put the water I think I put the water in here yes there we go okay good I think we're good to go let's uh make sure it's the morning so um I don't know if the time actually makes any difference to be honest so we don't need to worry about that let's just uh top up if we must use there we go and then we have our Camile te and off we go 200 and 100 and we have plenty of healing oh yeah bandages I want to see if I need more bandages uh three bandages might be good manual crafting is it manual crafting yeah there we go now we have have a full 20 in our bar which is great and I don't think and I can make any more healing potions healing potions oh we can actually nice there we go excellent so we have 20 of them as well beautiful all right let's go we did put a fast travel Point here and off we go I've had a beard for over 20 years and if I shaved my dog would probably break out yeah that happened to me before like uh my my dog uh it's when we got the dog and she was very young Sandy we um I came home shaved one day um and she just she just backed at me like she she but not in a playful way at all she and I always thought it was more that the smell and everything but Genie Max she was was not happy about that absolutely not now I'm not sure if we want to waste a lot of time here on actually destroying everything yeah so like these type of things so I think I just want to place through it once at first and then go from there yeah we already done all that cuz I know you get a lot of bone arrows like obviously from it but anything we can loot that's obviously like out here yes we definitely will loot you know things like that are just lying around so let me see we have the copper arrows and the Flint arrows and the bone arrows yeah so let's stick with the Flint arrows I guess if we need to for now baby face kicks for limited time only but your action figure in pre-order now yes exactly um well let's just Dive Right In and see if we can just deal with these guys okay these these guys actually up there a bit of a problem that wasn't bad I mean I have full health what more do you want basically not bad at all good and we have a lot of healing I think our rings do healing as well let me just double check yeah we do health regen health regen then we have another two health regen there four health regen so we have plus four health regen and then then from our buff we have another plus4 so we have plus eight health regen per second which is perfect so that's good you need to finish the rest of the Halls oh just wait I know yeah you focus on C++ and had interest in embeded stuff CS at my college yeah I started off with C++ and um uh Borland C++ and I wanted to always be in games development but there was nothing in Island for it so I ended up going into Visual Basic and from there into C oh could have been a different lifetime for everything again I know we can smash most of these things but I'm just here for the loots n I'm not going to hear I'm not going to dismantle all that all the books the only thing we we we have books for in the moment is to make uh decorative book STS and I'm not really too interested in that there we go just get a cheeky hit get out here okay I thought we had that one skeleton come over here and then that rabbit dog was up my ass holy CRA stuck are you okay uh M you focused on Ranger Beast Master and it was quite hard for me but I got through it yeah there's some really really cool builds I think some of the builds you really can't do properly until you leveled up quite a lot and then you Respec into them I think Ma Mage is just for example really hard and and fickle especially with the aiming of the wand which drives me mental that you can't aim like you can do with the bow I mean with the bow I can oh crap what am I doing oh yeah with the bow I can just sit here and aim exactly where I want to shoot but with the wed outo aims I can't play with that yeah it drives me mental so I think with Mage you really want to be at the point where you have good staff you can craft the fire at least you know and then have a lot of mana and have at least 20 points nearly to play with and then you can spec into the Mage I think leveling with the Mage is just so slow and hard so oh Beast control would be amazing can you imagine like instead of necromancy or something you have like a whole set of beasts with you that would be pretty sweet oh no no I'm stuck oh you kidding me mother of balls I can't do anything I'm completely stuck I can't even fast travel because I'm apparently falling really not cool man not cool well I don't know if our rested bonus actually counts but I'm just going to go back home just in case it does cuz I think it's disabled the rested bonus isn't it I think so I could be wrong there we go okay we have food we get the popcorn there we go um everything we killed is dead because I think uh Hollow Halls is not the same as the camps they don't respawn when you Rel log in because I think they don't want you to farm Hollow Halls like non-stop so I think there's like a daytime counter on it I could be wrong though so let me see so rested increase stamina on maximum so so far rested bonus is active I think there's a message that it doesn't count or something oh they did respawn all right okay here we go let's do it again okay okay we have to play with the [Music] [Applause] shield okay yeah Shield is the only way to go okay so in regards to my skills anybody interested is we are up here for extra cider power a little bit of decks this one I will unlock at some point as well we have sneak attack and backstab so sneak attack I don't do as much but I do sometimes backstab damage so especially when I'm fighting the big slow mobs I kind of go behind them and stab stab stab and then uh that gives me the extra 25% damage we have the double jump here and the jump attack too which gives us an extra 20% weapon damage when we go double jump and boom then we have um strength here we're going to go in the atlet tray for the jump attack of course and some extra strength this I'm trying out but I can't really get this ever to trigger I don't like the merciless attack I just thought if we ever get a sneak attack off um it would be nice to see what these blood bulbs look like I think yeah it's a sneak kill isn't it it has to be a sneak kill not a sneak attack spawn a health after defeating an enemy with a sneak attack so this I might take back out but if I want the extra Constitution here I might go with this instead so I might take this out and move it here and then we're going to go into the Barbarian tree a little bit uh for the heavy-handed you know um because in the end of the day what I really want to play 200 but 200 is very very slow right now and this is where um we're going to get um going attacking with a melee weapon there is a speed increase here somewhere um let me see yeah this one so we want to get here into heavy specialization allows you to attack faster with 200 hammers so um for hollow Halls it might not be a solution the 200 we'll see but we definitely want to get to the point where it's just going to be faster you know um at least we got some extra ra loot like what because um we had to go here twice so this time don't back up into uh and Pole or something and we should be okay okay let's actually lure them over so what I might do is do a double jump switch do this and then out switch go back to Shields so double jump switch ah you're joking missed the all okay our health is holding up I mean I can't complain our health is doing well let's refresh the popcorn so we are able to take the beating and um dish it out as well which is good the real test comes when you get about 23s in you have these weird sigh wielding um dudes showing up they're pretty rough um one of the skills that I seem to be um that I think I like is this one here evasion attack so I can be close obviously and hit them or I can be far away oh this didn't work yeah I don't know how it triggers if it's on a timer or something but basically every now and then you see me zooming in to the enemy and that's when um I maelee them which uh dashes towards the enemy deals more weapon damage just was left Mouse button so just purely attacking actually triggers that but I think that might be on an internal timer to be honest because it doesn't happen all the time but sometimes you see me like like B Batman um uh the Batman game you know going from enemy to enemy which is pretty cool no oh that's dismantle for the books so now we have to get those these guys here and there oh wow we only need the two here for this one okay ah BS completely wrong get out get out I hate when they surround me and they get me stuck oh my God don't triple jump you [ __ ] I'm intentionally not healing I think I fight better under pressure good good we're not healing we don't need healing potions we can heal ourselves there we go yeah that that that that kind of SW off feel like going into the gliding mode so what I actually want to do is jump switch weapon and then I keep pressing space you see I did it again oh man I have to stop doing that so the idea is to block fight and then double jump switch weapon hit switch back to sort and shield and then protect yourself again that that is the idea okay um oh there's no pause in headlamp or something because having to carry a f torch when you're going to get attacked and then fight in the dark is just completely moronic it just makes no sense I know you can throw the torch on the ground but still that's just like silly and I don't want to really fight with my torch either because I don't want it to break so we could have walked theoretically straight through here okay he came out of nowhere okay the treasure is not really worth the ominous presentation you give me here I mean bandages Flint arrows the way this is presenting itself here I want to see like I don't know I have no idea what do you expect like a platinum covered blowup doll I don't know okay something you would think yeah okay I can see why somebody would bury that all the way down in a tomb a [Music] a flaming sword that would be badass actually yeah like this is not loot worthy of a deep buried tomb loot absolutely not I think we're just going in circles now yeah we're going in circles so let's go ah just right at the tip oh yeah they definitely need to complete weapon and armor overhaul in the moment it just doesn't feel like you're getting rewarded enough with loot it doesn't have that um it doesn't scratch the loot itch definitely not in the beginning it does the first I would say up to level 9 you you're continuously finding awesome stuff yeah but you know how long it's ago that I found like a legendary that like I found one legendary in like the last three or 4 hours of gaml and it wasn't even anything I was interested in it was a staff or wand it's like I don't care well mind you I found an awesome legendary bow but that was replaced by this one here so yeah if you have it depends what level I mean I can I can understand you don't want to find like say legendary weapon straight away in the beginning of the game that is level five but um I said that before the reason I don't like the upgrade system is the upgrade system is very cheaply done yeah I think the upgrade system should never raise the level of the item ever yeah so this one is originally a level 13 item yeah because I upgraded it three times it became level 16 that is completely wrong yeah what this should be should be a level 13 bow with uh 22 two power whatever or 20 power whatever level 13 is with all these three upgrades yeah that I put on and then if I find a level 16 bow I now have the choice do I want 25 power over 20 power or do I want the extra backstab stuff yeah and then I might find and then if I find a level 16 bow with one or two of these it you constantly have something to look forward to to upgrade but by them if you find a level five legendary yeah that basically becomes a level 9 weapon so now for five levels at least I have absolutely nothing of an upgrade and and that is what is wrong with that system yeah it's uh it's completely making itself redundant with the way the upgrade system works uh we probably need another Ro let me see okay I have to go through here I think and armor is not even included in the loot which is kind of depressing like um like armor should be like weapons you should be able to upgrade it you know the ones you craft might give you a set bonus but then um when you find uh we need set bonuses definitely we need um uh two set bonuses four set bonuses what what do we have here one two 3 four five so we need a two set bonus and a four set bonus and then a five set bonus the reason we need a five set bonus is so that you can basically mix and match and say okay we want a two set bonus and um or actually a two and a three set bonus um you might do that a two and a three set bonus or you do a two two and a five so that way you can say we have this a two set bonus for one piece of armor a two set bonus for another piece and then you just have a helmet or whatever you know whatever you want but that allows you then to mix and match a little bit also up let us upgrade things so that um the armor when you upgrade it gets extra things I don't want it to go to level 15 because that whole increase in level when you upgrade is just really silly it it makes any future loot you find very much redundant so yeah they definitely need a lot of work it's a lot of fun the game don't get me wrong and if anybody's asking yes buy it today it's absolutely great fun but it is it's I mean it is an early access so you know but it definitely needs a lot of work when it comes to the distribution of Loot and all that so this is where we got our ass kick last time so we could we could um so here we were fine but we couldn't go over there I think uh because we had these big guys coming in that we had to kill um so food um popcorn there we go oh this door opens automatically I think yeah oh I think there was nothing here actually was there there's nothing down here yeah on both sides there was nothing I remember now I think this is more if you fall down that you have a way out I think that's what this is for yeah and the and I think the what what any game needs not just this game is try to give the loot like uh the everything you loot if there's a gold chest that can have random loot yeah can you at least ensure that you check my character and that the weapons I'm using actually have a higher chance of dropping yeah so yeah and I'm an idiot if I put like a staff a sword and a two-hander here then yeah I'm just giving myself equal chances that's me being stupid yeah but if I have a 200 200 and a one hander here yeah make that type A 5% higher chance of dropping or 10% because there's a reason I'm playing this this is the class I enjoy so if you throughout the whole game continuously just give me staves and ones what the hell that that makes no sense and there should be fixed loot as well that you can loot there is some fixed loot there's a cave down here with the golden sword which is always there actually it's up here somewhere yeah it's the the scavenger stash cave here right this one that always has the sword but the sword doesn't scale in level so if I go there now I get a level five sword so maybe they should be also uh making scaled loot yeah you know in certain areas that would probably help but uh that's a different conversation scaled loot can cause all sorts of problems as well but um everything maybe should scale with you that means no matter where you go on the map everything should be your level all the time like World of Warcraft does it because that means any fight you have is always a challenge and you never have an easy run so but that that depends on the person playing like a lot of people don't like that so this is where we get our ass kicked here last time I don't know why I'm let okay [Music] for a second there it looked like they might have me I had to use a potion but it turned out that in the end we were just the better person the better combatant doc Montoya how are you just checking if your cute dog is here again yes she is she's lying there she's been a pain in my side smelling something through the air vents and barking like a maniac if we ever get get invaded by flesh eating Cuts you gladly can go for first Sandi I gladly let you the things I think they have to do is they have to disable the hit boxes um when you walk into them that just H they have to do that because if you fight a huge amount of of of them and they surround you and you jump up and you land with your uh with your Hammer Smash down if you land on top of them you literally just land on top of his head you don't do the attack and you slow slide down so I think they just completely have to remove the hit boxes of the characters um like that when you do certain attacks not in general but during an attack so when I jump up and I do that that should always hit the ground even if I'm right on top of a skeleton it should just go right through it and should hit the ground uh so that for this attack they have to disable hit boxes um between my body and their body not between my weapons obviously and if they're attacking me it still should hit me but their body should just not register at all against my body should not be a thing and what you call that ey framing or whatever like so they they yeah they have to do something about that that's it I think we got them all here and there's some more loot okay so yeah no I would have expected to die here so uh there was nothing wrong the game didn't do really anything wrong uh the only thing that panicked me was getting stuck um that smash attack uh can really get you into trouble as well especially with the stamina issues um let's get food refreshed let's get the popcorn refreshed I think we're okay with the drink in the moment I need to F oh okay should have probably done that I need to find a repair okay this one let me check over here a there's another guy oh I to out my shield up but okay oh guy came in fully rushing okay I'm in a corner I can't get out there we go is the loot falling through the ground because none of these bodies is lootable here when I when I fight them here okay let's head over here and see if we can find the repair um oh hello Let The Bodies Hit The Floor exactly um let me go back here a little bit because I have to repair I can't wait until I get to the next section especially not knowing when the next repair section happens um I rather backtrack a little bit there we go nice okay that was very exciting oh just casually sitting there he's like if I don't make eye contact he won't see me h scrap arrows are nonsense anyway yeah no loot huh interesting oh they dropped the odd bone I see what he's saying so it's not actually a loot pile I always thought it was a loot pile okay we have to be careful here oh bastard is this open now no not yet okay not yet good yeah them being bed out is always very creepy as well because they attack you all of a sudden and you didn't see them because they didn't move before okay let's see what do we got I mean a chest all the way down here should always have useful loot in it yeah okay Hollow Halls blocks should be kind of an addition to loot it shouldn't be actually the only loot just saying yeah yeah I think target farming is something that they definitely have to look into more um I know there's certain bosses which drop certain items after you kill them a few times they have that which is really good but I think they need more chests in certain areas where you can fight your way through it like this where it's not easy to get to and then it has to be designated loot like you find the 200 200 here you find the oneand here you'll find the staff here the there has to be more of that I think there is already some of that um which is good H okay I feel like this is a trap feels like a trap smells like a trap Oh yay yay so Indie tell me you're back from your adventures what did you find in the dungeons that you spent six weeks in rocks found these rocks they're not worth anything but they look pretty okay we're missing a mob somewhere we're missing a mob somewhere oh webs holy crap when did these guys respawn oh don't tell me they respawn oh that no that oh [ __ ] that was the wrong that was the wrong decision the wrong decision wrong decision no no no no no no no switch the [ __ ] hot bar you stupid bastard oh my God stuck on the stupid hot bar okay that's it yeah that you see that I landed on top of a skeleton and it canceled out my jump which is so disgusting stamina stamina stamina stamina holy moly I'm getting my hot bar hot B mixed up it was like I so that means we should get a repair block here somewhere back okay okay they just keep drip feeding into here oh these doors are open now which is great uh Blackmouth wuon yeah I'm kind of interested in that um it looks very good um I just hope it's not going to be a big empty World lots of walking walking simulator was a little action but it looks like the action that you get is really good the yeah is August is that not also the Outlaws that coming out so it's going to be Wong and the Outlaws well wuon is going to be getting more attention than Star Wars Outlaws I'm I'm really hoping the game play is going to be good for for Star Wars Outlaws I mean it's going to be a Ubisoft game so it's going to be maybe it's probably will be Far Cry Star Wars basically which there's theoretically nothing wrong with but it's just you know it it's just yeah not really breaking out of anything you're not doing anything different okay what do we have going on here um the Star Wars Outlaws yeah there is another one called Star Wars Eclipse uh I haven't heard anything about this since the original trailer and I complet Oh I thought we oh we have to go to the other side sorry I'm oh I have to go we looted these two already I think I have to loot the other one over here on the front still yeah I mean it's good to see other people making Star Wars games and yes Ubisoft could do a hell of a lot better and Ubisoft you know but say it like this there is no Far Cry game yet that is Star Wars themed so yeah they they get a one time pass you know as in yeah great here you go yeah like avatar for example everybody was going on about how great Avatar was I watched some of the game playay and I just found it extremely boring um I I'm GL I mean I have the Ubisoft plus and I was going to play it and um because Ubisoft plus these days you actually pay less than you pay for all the games they're bringing out these days I mean that's that's their obviously their intent so I keep canceling the Ubisoft uh thing and keep um you know so every time a game comes out I buy it and cancel it immediately unless there's two three games coming out within two three months then I usually leave it leave it on um for two months or so but um but yeah I found Avatar not as I don't know why it got such good hype it it was really a standard Ubisoft game it looked amazing thing but the story was me and and these type of games are all about the story and I didn't find the story all that amazing really I mean I can't believe that the guys who made the division made um Avatar because uh watching rad brat and all that it looked like that it it was just very grindy for a single player experience that is narrative driven like narrative driven single player you would think that the story is at the forground and you're not going to distruct to much with the grind it's I don't know it just felt like it was um not really what it could have been but it looked amazing but that was about it what is this did I get anything hello oh maybe we opened that already because I think last time we decided we're just going to run through and uh see if we can find anything and maybe we run through here already oh hello there the Roman take layer of the personal chambers of the wizard um no we just want to complete the dungeon we want to get the boss in the drops so what I'm hoping is that I think sorry an NPC we need to get an NPC so when you complete the dungeon the first time you get a new MPC I believe um the first dungeon and that MPC will uh will then craft the keys you need for the other ones yeah so without doing the first one you can't actually do the other ones you can't get into them yeah oh yeah Assassin's Creed Origins um I I played a little bit of of of of that and a little bit of the Odyssey and um Origins felt great now Odyssey to me visually was more appealing because it was water and stuff ooh now let me see this one is a level 50 yeah see it's already outleveled it's already outleveled ah we keep it anyway is anything else here yeah it would be nice to have scaling loot like so that and scaling Loot and scaling enemies so if the game design think you should fight these monsters when they're two level below you then there should always be two level below you not 10 yeah so which means no matter what level you go in here well there has to be a minimum level similar to World of Warcraft there's there's a minimum level which means that they're going to be level 10 at least yeah no matter when you go in here yeah but if you go in as level 11 or level 12 level 13 they start scaling up yeah and that means you now have the opportunity to scale up the loot because if you scale up the loot here in the early Parts you know it makes no sense if the enemies don't scale because now you're saying well it's not an easy run for you you can't just go and smash smash because well the enemies are your level pretty much yeah so if you want to farm like a certain weapon here that can drop you know yeah you can but good luck you know you have to know what you're doing so and be if they introduce scaling that means they can also remove some of the amount of skeletons because if they're always going to be your level it's going to be harder so you they can reduce the number of enemies uh very easily so I think that's what they should end up with with these dungeons to to make them scaling to you um after the minimum level so you know so if the if the next Hollow Halls is for example a minimum level of of 15 or 20 then the mobs will always be at least 20 what is this is this bone oh that's just Rubble yeah so one thing we're going to have to start uh looking at is these things here so if there's a boss fight I'm going to unleash all 20 of those and then see what happens see if they're any good oh we going out what HH did we finish it what no there's no boss fight in this one huh hang on a second what I'm so confused you have discovered a new survivor in the hollow Halls place them in your home okay so when we touch that sarcophagus we actually got the okay then that makes sense that we're done then okay so in that case it's absolutely fine because I was just so confused I was like is there no boss fight okay so we complet okay we completed it yeah so there was no boss fight uh it was just to get to that sarcophagus that was standing out we click on it um it didn't really do anything visually amazing where you go oh yeah okay we got a new NPC I I just kind of assumed we got the new NPC that looks pretty amazing okay okay so um it's getting very tighty we're going to have to upgrade our base oh look that looks really awesome at night I really like that how that looks oh do we not have a photo mod on this had a photo mod here oh maybe I was wrong yeah I mean the game is definitely already worth the money like five times over in my opinion but um yeah absolutely um it it needs a lot of work still okay that is a new let's put this away that is a new block and I don't think I have a chest actually for all this yeah I'm not yeah I'm going to actually delete them I'm not going to use spells anyway that's not what I'm going to do let me upgrade this uh weapon here for a second so it's level 14 it's just one level below to have ice magic damage ice magic damage sacred 10% more damage against Hollow so you see the way you get a weapon in there that is actually specifically aimed at the guys in the hollow dungeon so why why are you making it such low level why can't you give me something that you know that would be this is now disappointing because I'm looking at this going well you know the if if I find a normal outside world weapon that is stronger I'm going to use that you know and sure this one does 20% more damage and hly E magically extends the attack R oh okay so yeah it has a couple of Buffs or something but again I just think you know scale enemies scale weapons let the let the player decide where they want to to Quest and where they want to do things you know uh have the have these these there to guide them through the progression but if they want to go somewhere else for a minute let them go somewhere else and make sure they have a challenge you know so minimum levels apply so if you go over here to the big boy that we got our ass kicked last time like in the not the Abundant Hunter Cam where where was it um oh where's that silly town here so right here if we go to the pike that's going to be level 25 or something or level whatever 20 minimum so but if I go there at level 50 yeah make the damn thing level 50 you know make me work for it end of story and that also brings uh then opportunity for balancing because in the moment a lot of people just simply wait until the higher level and then go and beat the [ __ ] out of the stuff when it's lower level so the developers don't really have to worry too much about balancing on the lower levels and we're going to try that one out I mean we only lose one damage and we lose other stuff but yeah for Hollow HTS we're going to try this one um the weapon El Le this seems to be applied regardless though so even outside in the world I I will probably it looks pretty bad as the weapon oh what oh sorry that was wrong yeah it looks pretty badass yeah we're going to try this one out we're going to keep this one here as a Farm loads I just didn't want to spend all day in there do I use this one is it like a usable one no okay so let's leave it here okay so to upgrade our flame we basically need um the head of the whisper the the fell Whispering head which I think is the pike yeah so let's try some things out so we want Copper arrows Flint arrows should be fine but copper arrows and there is a trick to it so when the guy goes bananas this guy when that guy Goes Bananas he you can shoot him actually in the face and that kind of uh Stones him a little bit and when he's stunned like that you you hit his head for [ __ ] tons of damage so that's how azain kind of showed uh to me and that is really what we after so let's see if we can just jump into I think we should be able to just jump in somehow from here maybe we can go up there and jump in that would make sense let's see if we can go up there it does 111 damage it's actually not bad If he if we can jump in from here oh it looks like we might be able to ha H I think so that's awesome we can put our um fast travel Point here it's possible let's try it out um oh yeah we don't have enough Stone oh yeah we will have enough Stone h that was not good so get up here indoors can we oh we can sorry nightwind bow why can't that drop as an epic or as a legendary that would pretty sweet okay so there was one chest it looks pretty nice inside here what else did we actually get let's have a quick look so this one is a level 15 B so you see you see the way we get level 15 items here and we are level um 17 so we should be able to fight this guy so it makes absolute sense that he will beat the [ __ ] out of you but the strategy will make it seem easy when you fight him and I think that's really good because that is what I think Hollow Halls should be like as well that they always be kind of your level and even maybe one two levels below you if that if if you want that and make less of them but more meaningful battles yeah so that you basically have say Hollow halls with like two or three of those bosses and similar to World of Warcraft dungeons where you have a little bit of trash where you don't need to worry too much about it but you still don't want to get overwhelmed but not to the huge amount we just had in the first dungeon that's just too much I think it's it's a bit crazy I think they wanted to get the feeling of arpg like Diablo where you have loads of enemies and you can't just go Bonkers but I don't think this game is really designed for that in a way because I think this game lends itself more to to strategy yeah where you say let's not have as many enemies have fewer but strategy will always win and that way you can make them always really tough enemies that if you don't pay attention at all they just kill you really quickly so so that way the dungeon lasts maybe half as long but it feels more I think satisfying because it feels like what you're doing is Meaningful you know and um you get rewards you get these type of bosses that drop things you know that make it worth it so you can't even do a cheeky chest run you know where you kind of go oh yeah just let me get to the boss chest and not fight the boss no you have to fight the boss to get a key for a chest or to get um the loot itself this is actually not a bad ring though it doesn't matter how much health and Mana you have if you can't sustain it oh we have a big door here some yarn here okay this is where the the dead guy is there's no chest in here is there no not really there's nowhere to attach anything up there to swing up no okay so that's pretty much it here oh crap so that's how we that's where before we fall back down I see oh okay we could have actually jumped up very good so we could have jumped up okay what do we have here there's no chest what about here that's just where we were okay fair enough okay so we have the ability probably to smash our way in there as well so we don't need the key maybe a no additional chest oh oh I see Hang on we're not finish of course it's a want flipping wands you go and suck a tree with your wants that seems to only go back down where we were let's go back here first and see if there's any way up no okay there's a chest down there oh [ __ ] Critical Strike chance that is some evil looking Beast oh it's the same as what I have already but very few people witnessed the sharp crystalline breath escaping War off from Under The Helmet firsthand their sawce howl dance in their Haze and fell a shiver down their skin creep into their mind and twist around their bones many did not live to tell the tale so but that is that not a bad thing minus maximum time in the Shroud so if we do this and we go in the Shroud it's only five yeah it's less time so why would we do that I mean it looks awesome but why would we do that is is there anything else special with this I mean look at this even the resistances are really crap but yeah if you don't a Critical Strike chance we have with this as well and this is the one we can craft so finding loot you can actually craft unless there's something else special about this like it does extra damage to things in the Shroud or something yeah then that would be amazing but right now just looking at this I I don't see how that is in any way shape or form better than something I can craft since level 13 yeah it's a bit of a strange one it looks awesome though um crap we have to get back ah yeah there we go oh we could have uh climbed up here does that mean there is a chest maybe down there no there's a normal yeah that should be enough I actually forgot how many we need okay it was 15 and now we just need a little bit more goo and here we go strength with flame boom there we go flame level four the next one fell monstrosity head yeah that's going to be something new fossilized bone mint mushroom this is all new stuff now ammonia glands we already found so we we kind of know it's I think here this area here any anything there but we we're going to have to go over here to the West at some point to get the blacksmith th as well but I don't know how to get there probably through here maybe I don't know we have to go from the Spire here and just see where we can go yeah we have to go sorry to the east we have to go to the east but the good thing is We Now can do another two altars so we can we have increased alter action okay um bones bones bones there this no there so what was the other ring was that a 3030 as well oh it was a 3030 so yeah this is the two rings you can get um so this is the ring you can get from the Beast getting two means you you can double up of course you know which is quite handy having two is always nice of any useful ring and don't really need this okay oh did we get the key twice as well or does the key disappear every time let me see where did I put the key actually was it here yeah it doesn't stuck so theoretically we can just keep going back there with the key and um get everything we want that's interesting so we don't have to fight it again which is nice oh we can't extend its building range anymore interesting and we get some more attribute bonuses okay so that's it I'm going to leave this here this was really good I really enjoyed this uh Hollow Halls was really nice was a couple of scary moments but it looks like we're going to have to start focusing on some of the quests U for the blacksmith and all that um for is there anything we have nearly done the masonry tools is the next thing but that's really for out ectoplasm stuff we we are not going to do anytime soon the Queen's tomb we probably should do that that's a very old Quest the Queen's tomb I want to know what this is this is like a reward and I have no idea what this is so maybe we should be doing that um next time I guess guess the location marked on map um wants you to reach the hidden Tomb of the former Queen to unearth her Treasures yeah we should start with that
