Sanctuary - Fallout 4 In 2024 Part 1

Amazon Prime uh TV series I only just finished the first episode I just started the second one and so far I like it um the first episode was really nice like I I love the way it just kicked off it was absolutely fantastic nice little sense of humor in there typical Fallout style which really was surprising to see and um yeah I have to say I expected worse and um it did well so far so um Dr da craft some weird weapons I don't know most of the secret weapons or anything because like I said I always got sidet tricked was modded and then we just stopped playing it um but there's two things once I'm going to start a new game so we can see the Prelude and then we're going to go and load the character created which is after the character creation so we don't have to wait for me to do all that nonsense and I'm going to be playing a female character for a change um on this one it's actually hilarious I usually play female character but I played male all the time in Fallout 4 so we're going to play female character so let's just go with this for the moment that we can see the Prelude which I always enjoy watching I just love the story uh from what I experienced so far started to play again after years because of the series 2 yes Christian there there you go exactly and this time if there's interest and people don't mind watching I will try to place through the story and and then if we want to start with modded stuff you know once we feel comfortable we can always do that uh that's no problem um I can always play it locally on my PC war war never changes in the year 1945 my great great grandfather serving in the Army wondered when he'd get to go home to his wife and the son he'd never seen he got his wish when the US ended World War II by dropping atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki the world awaited Armageddon instead something miraculous happened we began to use atomic energy not as a weapon but as a nearly Limitless source of power people enjoyed luxuries once thought the realm of Science Fiction domestic robots Fusion powered cars portable computers but then in the 21st century people awoke from the American dream years of consumption led to shortages of every major resource the entire world unraveled peace became a distant memory it is now the year 2077 we stand on the brink of Total War and I am afraid for myself for my wife for my infant son because of my time in the Army taught me one [Music] thing it's that war war never changes always the chills at the at the line you know war never changes so usually like I said I play male character but war never changes I decided to mix it up and see what happens when you play female character because um that was my last exit save so we're going to go with that um I think when you're male if I remember correctly there's um there's a whole thing where you have to find the wife obviously now you have to find the husband I guess but there's a couple of things which I kind of wonder how they do it when you play the opposite um you know sex um great open world absolutely Fallout 4 um I I started playing Fallout 3 New Vegas on on stream on on YouTube at some point and I just I found it very hard to continue at some point it got very um I I think you can see the age it's still a very good game uh but for me personally to play through it it's it's fine but on stream I found it it got a little bit confusing then and tedious and so uh I definitely plan on finishing at some point in my own oh God she looks evil so anyway no sound like yeah we can turn the sound up a little bit again I just didn't want to have it too loud and then the music can just turn a little bit more down there we go shall so let me know if this volume is okay and good old codsworth I'm glad we got cworth oh is that the magazine one of the first magazines activates the Barbarian and the jungle of the bat baby I was thinking of installing this uh I never actually beat it yeah the same here I never finished it I always got sidetracked with things and then um ended up um not finishing it but I really want to play through the story I never did so there's something that's eventually going to trigger I believe more of the same that's as comfor as how do we trigger the scenario again that sales oh here we go the salesman that's it I get it I get the salesman that's how I set up how we set course of course Miner's your robot naturally in fact you're already cleared for entrance it's just a matter of verifying some information don't want there to be any holdups in the unforeseen event of total Atomic Annihilation won't take but a moment so again I'm not going to play this on Survival because I find survival very painful to watch unless you know exactly what you're doing and you can get some you know some locations where you can get some Buffs you know like uh like some nice weapons and stuff like that so and especially without the fast travel for me on stream that's going to be painful to watch I'm pretty sure so we're going to play it we start on normal and then we're going to increase the difficulty hard and harder uh as we play to see you know we we we give it a a try because I never played this game Beyond mid game I would say um and um so we're going to try to see if we get a little bit further than that um tell me more so oh stat-wise I'm not a Fallout uh fishon or whatever you call it so I'm just going to pick the stats that I think will well in the begin I'm going toal oh Sky of course radiation and hostile mutants a better future underground it's not only our mission it's our passion it's our passion all right sure let's do it Splendid Splendid good morning now Warren let's see okay so now strength obviously is very important um now when you play when you don't play on survival um I think weight uh is not existent on some of the items so we don't have to worry too much about it um I do even though I'm not a person who likes to do things with talking and like to do more shooting I think in general in Fallout games you will have no choice but to sometimes talk so I would say everything should be at least the four maybe if we have enough point points let me see o we could so maybe everything should be Baseline three first and then I think weapon accuracy would be very important see strength I find very important as well I find everything important that's the problem intelligence maybe not as much agility agility is a measure of overall finesse and reflex it affects the number of action points okay so maybe what we're going to do is um I like that and go endurance for and um does luak still have kind of a good effect here that's just for critical hits so maybe Charisma four so we're going to keep it like that is look it's look actually good is it um yeah I don't want to be below as three so we can go perception four and then sorry P perception five and then instead of agility 5 we're going to go luck four as well so oh uh C no I I didn't want to start moded because that's my problem I always start Fallout 4 and then I start adding mods because I give myself the excuse of fast travel in survival then I add more mods then I and in the end I'm just going to run mods and I don't actually experience the game so um I want to just play the game as is to just at least have it experienced once like that and that's my problem with the mods I always get sidetracked so much into mods that I just don't play the game anymore in the end so um yeah that looks it's average whatever perception may be a bit higher than the rest and um maybe I want strength a little bit higher as well so actually strength down and Agility reception yeah let's leave it like that okay let's go I don't want to oh why can I not accept what's the problem can we not do that oh you must name your character before proceeding okay how do I name my character oh up there okay well it's going to be kicks it's going to be very simple we're not going to go with bottom snack uh we're just going to stay here with kicks there we go um luck is good at four or five I forgot uh but you get a skill that increases your XP gain okay so anyway we're going to keep it like this I know you can build your skill up where go oh I get a magazine here I get a magazine here and immediately get my skills up I don't know all that stuff you know so I'm not going to Sidetrack with that I know you can also get that special gun in the beginning in the wall by glitching through the side of the lock on no price is too high but um we're not going to do that um anyway one of the things I want to enable is subtitle it's not on by default which is very strange um hang on display subtitle here General subtitle oh sorry off uh dialogue subtitle yes and um let's leave it like this for now oh Hood color oh look at that yeah we have to make it blue it's going to have to be a thing yeah I like that there we go my moments ah the baby sha has been changed didn't realize the game doesn't do it by default I think soundwise we have it up uh pretty much to the max we can put the voices up a little bit more I guess and um the music I just don't want to have getting them cou SE so I would be very careful with that um yeah I you can um yeah actually you have a very good point we might as well get it all out of the way so let's um keep that off maybe for this the safest uh bit Vault program head to the gate that's absurd um it's not really the first time but I have played it last like three years ago maybe and only halfway through with way too many mods so I didn't really get to play the main story at all if you're in the program step here we need to get in we're on the list infant adult male adult female go ahead can I have your suit and God would drive me bonkers um so we're just going to have the normal dialogue subtitle everything else I'm not going to have on because otherwise it's going to get too busy you're safe now um so basically the first time I played this I played it when they intro when it was building mods because I just wanted to do the base building I wasn't interested in the story the second time I played it everybody was like oh you have to play Survival it's when survival came out you know you just add mods for fast travel and then we got hung up on the whole thing of survival with was mods and then too much mods and it's very hard to learn the game properly when everything is is modded and and you play Survival immediately so for me I was like if I'm playing it again I want to play it because I really Tau you know got the itch for Fallout again watching the TV series let's just played vanilla end of story and played on normal difficulty then harder and hardest you know we can increase the difficulty as much as we want um once it becomes too easy but I'm not going to go to survival for the first time really playing story kind of you know so because I keep missing out on everything else always doing that so yeah thank you Conor what faction are you planning on joining um I'm not sure yet Brotherhood of Steel maybe St to the table welcome pick up a suit right over there just this way you'll need your suit before we can take you further and the story is still going to be better than most of the garbage that's coming out today I'm pretty sure as I follow me excuse me it's down the whole way right there okay this is our new home levels are good oh you're going to love this is one of our most advanced facilities not that the others aren't great mind you and I like actually some of the site missions as well oh God honey how long do you think we'll be down here oh we'll be going over all that in orientation okay just a few medical items we have to get through first problem just this way um every the ha what's up wild man watching from Missouri Us Saw You streaming had to check it out just watch the first season so giving it a second look uh definitely yeah that's what got me back into wanting to play this now this as your new home just step in here and put your vaults I mean what's not to trust you know I mean these guys are scientists they're government you know why would you not trust any of that the Pod will decontaminate and depressurize you yeah the carry way thing and then I had to install mods to to allow me to carry more to have unlimited carry and it's like if I'm installing mods counteract most of the stuff from survival anyway you know why bother playing Survival the first time normal procedure complete in oh the minute man yes that's right Conor thank you they're they're actually very interesting in um what's the character's name again that you meet in the beginning I forgot it's too long ago and I think also when you play a game for the first time after many years especially when it's older it's always good to play vanilla because a lot of people have not seen the game before and they might never actually even played Fallout 4 so them seeing it for the first time Vanilla not fully moded is also very helpful for them I think this is the one here open it oh those bastards Preston yes is are we okay almost everything's going to be fine come so much in games because there's some activity that I just like better in first person and some activities that I just enjoy much more in third person like I usually like moving around in third person more because it can kind of see more beside me and behind me if that makes sense um like you have a better view of the danger but first person is much better for shooting and stuff like that and you know it depends like you know but um oh man this is going to start start now isn't it I'm going to pick up everything is it I'm going to pick up everything and yeah we're not going to pick up anything at all uh Conor you're crazy thank you so much for the $20 super sh the thing that doesn't make any sense in this game is that when kellock shoots your husband or wife you hear the sound of a shell Cas hitting the ground it's a revolver there's no shell casing you know what as a non-un knowledged person I would have never picked up on that ever ever oh we actually can just press V for the quick used what I really would like to do is get really good at the game in vanilla and then uh when you play Survival you know the locations you kind of go okay we're going to do this we're going to create this here the the little base there you know whatever and oh okay oh yes there we go we have a security B now we can kick some ass so we pick up the stim packs anyway um yeah one of the things in these games is always what to pick up what not to pick up you usually look at value for things and uh this is where mods already start you you start adding mods that show your value of things in the acttion description so you don't have to take them in and then look at the value so but eventually you get to know the value of things and you know weight what is it weight weight to Value ratio um you want to do that let's have a look through the security terminal and see if we can find out what happened revolvers police their own Freedom casing okay see what's happening wall security instructions VA 111 is designed to test the long-term effects of suspended animation on unaware human subjects sec I I thought we were here to save our lives security staff are responsible for maintaining installation integrity and monitoring sign staff activity um under no circumstances are staff allowed to deviate from assigned duties insubordination or interference with VA operations the nature of world 111 because it's like a testing personal Personnel will be expected to perform duties outside of the normal qualifications such as janitorial duties and food preparation okay then we have all clear in evacuation all clear following a nuclear event voltech will monitor hazards such as radiation levels enemy Invasion subsequent attacks and other factors upon receiving the all clear notice waltech personal may be evacuating the the at overseer's discretion monetary shelter period 180 days of containment yeah I don't know what is the known reality of if you have a nuclear war and you go underground how many days should you be underground before most of the radiation is kind of bearable because I would I would I would assume that literally it would not really be gone and cleaned out again until hundreds of years later like surely you know there there would be um no way that would clear up that fast security logs let's see if there's anything in there about them taking the baby not everyone made it now it's just us and the icebergs I don't get it Eggheads tried to explain to me that keeping them Frozen is a big experiment for a better future or something I don't know it just doesn't seem right that we were smiling at them all that time before putting them on Ice yeah exactly somebody has a conscience and ignore all the minmax people oh yeah that definitely Nathan I I I won't be going into the whole Min maxing I will just play have some fun and if I get stuck somewhere that's different you know um Freedom casing we we b um hundreds of years surely about seven is it only seven years that's crazy I would have assumed that um unless humans inter interfere and try to help the cleanup that nature itself radiation would be there for hundreds of years but yeah well I don't know so none of the scientists came overseer wasn't there either I just don't get them they're hiding something from us another company secret only for the higher Ops it's always the case isn't it there's always someone above you that knows more only a few weeks left now mandatory shelter period everyone's getting stir crazy some people are even saying the all clear signal is never coming we can't stay here much longer that's for sure it's not just the fact that I've been staring at the same break room and bump bed for over six months it's the fact that we only have enough food left for another few months well that is a problem yeah the overseer keeps telling everyone to be patient focus on work he's definitely keeping us out of the loop yeah there's something going on something Shifty the main door accessing the Vault exit is m functioning now the only way out is through the overseers evacuation tunnel how convenient for him he has one of the science teams watching the door into his office at all times from a little makeshift checkpoint got invited to a meeting tonight support staffers and security only sounds like I'm not the only one with an axe to grind so they were opening the main door and it malfunctioned so why is not everybody allowed to leave through the tunnel seeing that they were going to um let them out anyway H cona you crazy person thank you so much uh you're you're crazy I very much appreciate it though now it's actually about seven days I know that because I have a friend of mine who's a prepper technically you could as long as you're not in the immediate blast range stay inside your home and block all the entrances into your home that is actually pretty cool um if you could but people would just R uh come and rans Sack your house I guess um you know but again thank you so very much Conor thank you um a handful of us confronted the overseer about open opening the Vault I never knew a man that's small that small could shout that loud now he's locked himself in the office break the door down get out I mean Jesus at some point you're just going to be like dude whatever the hell you know doesn't make sense but for me that's all new news because I was frozen in the chamber and I don't know why I thought we were just Frozen to to be helped and then some Dingus douchebag came in and stole my baby and also killed my husband I guess more importantly they stole my baby boom dude how are you yes we're playing Fallout again if the interest is there we're going to play through the story at least and then maybe some modded or survival after but um yeah Fallout itch is there with the TV series all right uh an Airbus nuke clears within a few weeks I thought the radiation would be soaked up by by the ground and all that and you couldn't really um do anything for um weeks or months even like you know so giant roaches like you couldn't Farm any food that's for sure I would say recreational terminal um I would say this is the same nonsense we just rent over is it oh overse a memo that's new remember use of okay that's nonsense uh top oh holotape oh it's a game okay yeah quit game yes okay so again I'm not picking up anything really you know in the moment we're going to later on look at things and see what's valuable and what's not valuable I think beer bottles are good for Destruction isn't it or actually empty bottles it has to be an empty bottle though because I think empty bottles are very good for um can we access our inventory yet it doesn't look like it okay yeah we have to find the glove first I think empty bottles are always good because you can make um fill them up with things so like clear clean water and all that from what I remember um how thick do you think that door is most black doors are within 12 or 18 inches thick usually on concrete and steel the play Temper in this in 7 Days to Die very close oh wow that is amazing I always thought Fallout four once you finish the story what what are you playing it for you know but um I suppose with mods there's like Endless Possibilities you know okay can we turn the power off I don't think so so we're going to have to go around I guess yeah that will give us something to cook depends on the type of radiation you play the game in pit in the pit boy that's right yeah husband can be replaced the baby is Cardinal mistake time to go Mama Bear mode on these [ __ ] exactly yeah uh drugs how are you I installed but news is out they're giving us an nextg update on the 25th um that's fine absolutely and we're going to be looking at that because they added Fallout 4 to GeForce now now so if you have a potato PC like I have um that next gen you probably won't be able to play on a GTX 1080 you will be able to play that in gorgeous full scale graphical goodness on GeForce now I don't even know how to access the vat system anymore um o yes there we go ammunition now in survival ammunition has weight as far as I remember but here we should be fine um what happened here oh how do we change weapon again oh there three four okay and three so what is two and one I think we have a wheel or something oh Q okay Q is um there we go yeah so this guy here I think you can glitch this one out with your dog so there there is a way but again I'm not going to get to hung up on all this in this in in in these streams if we do more than one but there is a way of coming back as soon as you have your dog if you come back here I think you can basically aim at this and tell your dog to look for Treasure or something whatever that command is and it basically comes and brings you this gun um which is actually hell of fun but again we're not going to try to cheese anything we're going to try to play it normally because cheesing is for when you play on survival and everything um is cigarettes I don't remember yeah let's take the cigarettes I don't know cigarettes is always good to have for trading I guess if this ever would happen in reality anything alcohol cigarettes chocolate sweets that stuff people would go mental for you know um for trading um Bama pan thank you so much for the $2 um I hope this this will be a full play well if people are interested and people want to watch absolutely we're going to keep playing it but again for this one I will just purely play vanilla and just uh try to actually get through the story and we're not going to get sidetracked with mods and all that nonsense like I usually do and then I just get so it gets so convoluted I'm like okay what is vanilla what is mod and um you know we're not getting to appreciate the game at all confidential okay VA 111 is designed to test the long-term effects yeah we had that your staff will be on short under no circumstances suspension to be disrupted this includes the administration of life-saving measures I mean in a way it makes sense to test you know if you could freeze humans like and then when they wake up they haven't aged really you know um to see if that works um I've long dreamed of making cryogenic freezing available and portal on demand form but you don't need to force people like into it with false pretense you know I mean I'm pretty sure people would sign up for it especially sick people yeah they would sign up for that absolutely no issue there so we actually had all that already we read all that already I think yeah um was there any special entry in the end oh there yeah so the cryolator operations protocol manual overseers log the final staff orientation is completed so that was just the beginning and then what do we have here it's happened we were looky that most of the staff was near by when the early warning came through so they didn't expect actually the [ __ ] to hit the fan that early so system Al function strange issues today with pod C3 subject appear to be having heart prep population nothing lifethreatening but unusual we realized most almost too late that the pot was malfunction the cryogenic aray almost started throwing her out we're not sure but I suspect a hiccup is that was that my pod is that when um the guys came and defrosted us and uh took my child was that on that day yeah supplies are running low if people think we can just leave when the 100 DS are up they're insane the radioactive exposure would why can't he just be honest about that if he could say well we pled 180 days but you know [ __ ] is still radiated so so if you guys want to leave go get radiated you know otherwise feel free to stay here I think if you do that people are less likely to be [ __ ] about it a faction led by a security Personnel have turned turned on me demanding that they be allowed to leave the wall idiots I will not open the vault door to be eradiated to death out here well let them leave if they want to leave you know it's yeah he's left the personal evacuation tunnel is now open remind all staff to be orderly and follow shutdown protocol So eventually change his mind please maintain all staff records yeah very good took long enough for him to change his mind so is the secret exit somewhere here in the toilet no oh it's over here that's right yeah through the store if people like the smash button the word might get out my encourage a full place so yes absolutely if you're join Fallout 4 and you're you're not having uh too much of an issue with me playing um then absolutely leave a like that's always appreciated and with a gun equipped you can hold Mouse two to aim that's correct yeah um oh yeah I have to remember oh we're too far away yeah that was too far away okay yeah I'm not wasting all my armor I'm going to go melee here first actually how does the vat work oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I forgot about that it slows down time so we go here for the Torso shot shot um then we're going to go here for the Torso shot and here for the Torso shot and here for torso and here for torso oh we can't okay so accept okay that's actually pretty cool yeah I forgot we had um the V only slows down time in this one um okay let's stick with the melee weapon we don't need to waste so much ammo unless we have to um I have not played this in years I do enjoy watching uh a all chest prach play All Things Fallout hilarious um Cru Fallout is demo for Fallout ion yeah 1997 u b game van follow I Love Actually Fallout tactics I know it's kind of not a popular opinion but I really enjoyed Fallout tactics at the time I started your game earlier thought I'd try on very hard this time never had to run from a gang of Raiders before well that's what we're going to do we're going to play on normal first um I actually don't know when do we choose the difficulty is that's is is um oh yeah normal so and then you can do it on hard very hard or survival now you can't oh you can turn Survival on as well okay so we're going to leave it on normal have they changed it now that you can play Survival no I really would have liked to see survival but been able to have fast travel on because fast travel is really the only thing that that I that I would immediately mod into survival however if you know the game really well then it doesn't matter because um you know kind of where the key areas are you know and how to play the game well okay let's see hidden oh did you see that seven days to die I I I did a strike that goes across the screen and I didn't aim at the Cockroach but it still hit the cockroach because I'm striking across the screen did did you see how that works so when you have a slat jum in your hand and and and you aim slightly beside the beside your zombie you still should hit the zombie I guess you know so just saying just saying um no so far everything is fine Clyde frog I'm playing it on gForce then I think on improving it but I believe there's still a split community on what is you know in the in the pay store or whatever but um we'll see I I tried it a few times over the years by myself we can't really do anything with that standard capacitor three tank capacitor it reduces the weight oh two crank reload maximum three crank reload maximum so that makes our weapon stronger yeah we should do that and so then if we go for the full stock better recoil yeah I might as well okay oh there's more oh glow side what is a glow improve focus and better sided accuracy um oh require gun nut signs oh that's pretty cool so we have this is the gun we definitely keep anyway so a double barrel shotgun what can we do with that standard receiver um better accuracy is always good damage so if we anything that doesn't have any radiation and we're going to take rways uh I would say take about three with us pork and beans has radiation Nu Cherry okay um you need to plant food and assign them to a farm oh okay where's Marcy she's already here so we can assign her to a farm I guess so if I go here I think and then assign Mary assigned to food yeah she's already assigned to food uh there you go yeah so she's looking at food oh I can harvested already seems to be growing well okay very good so do they want me just to put food here H I don't know why that's highlighted I'm very confused by this because all they really say here is [Music] um provide food for Sanctuary settlers so what they actually mean is seeds so can I can I make seeds from this somehow see no missed a g next to the melon plants ooh oh I can replant them there's a what is a g okay so you're saying if I go into here I can plant more food from what I just picked up oh awesome it's 60% so basically what I'm doing now is I'm just going to wait for that to grow Harvest it and then replant it why can we not don't like that this has to go like this oh now I can't place it down anymore cancel okay why can I not go this way okay anyway there you go you look after food yeah we're going to find more food in um the other place so what we're going to do now is we're going to continue with um these guys which is all the way East here so let me see yeah let's go over to the farm because there we're going to find some more food anyway so let's save this and um oh actually I have to go I didn't even notice Jesus time is flying are we seriously already streaming 4 hours that is crazy that is crazy I did not even that that time just flew by um so if we when we comeing back so clearly if there is interest um you know it seems that there is interest we're going to um they have tatoes at the farm exactly um we are going to get more seeds then or more stuff to plant like we don't have to make seeds which is great now I'm not going to take the power armor because I only have two Fusion cores and I have my weapons I'm actually perfectly set up in the moment for uh to not have any junk on me I have my food that I have I rway squirrel on stick some water purifier some Qui killed roaches and stim packs so we're doing absolutely fine yeah so maybe even leave some stim packs here so let's take only 10 stim packs with us uh for weight management um apparels we're going to sell all of them as soon as we get a chance I don't know exactly how we can sell things but we figure it out um guns we bring Molotov cocktails we bring three guns we bring the cell we bring the heavy pipe because we have 418 armor for that and we bring the the shotgun as well as the handgun which is a really quick fire one so for little shitty things we're just GNA go with the pistol and then as soon as it goes big boom or you know long range we're going to go with the musket and the heavy pipe rifle is only there as a backup if I run low on ammunition with anything because having 38 ammunition 400 you know it's it's always going to be good for just you know getting rid of things and um you know um having a backup weapon so I think that makes sense I'm just lurking but playing for the first time with you absolutely blast to play anybody who doesn't know Fallout and actually is here because of the Fallout TV series and it's for the first time seeing the game it's absolutely worth it like so I think even on Steam it's currently on a sale 75% off if I'm not mistaken uh don't quote me on that I don't know if it's the sale is still on if there's a sale I think there was a sale and they moved it onto GeForce now as well which I'm playing on right now this very minute um which is perfectly fine for me um I can play it locally my computer is strong enough but um I decide to play games usually on GeForce now uh so I don't have to install them it's just quicker and they have a 4080 which I don't have like I have a GTX 1080 um which is great so but anyway I'm going to leave this here this was really a lot of fun and um I just leave some stim packs as back up here in case something happens and if you guys enjoyed
