Fernez gas mask (testing and review)

[Music] [Music] yo yo yo guys calling me today from our target silent prepping in this video i'm going to be testing reviewing this item here this is the furnace gas mask i'm going to go over everything that comes with it i'm then going to test it and then i'm going to give you my opinion so i do my reviews for anyone who does not know at the end of this video i will give it a one to five star rating one saw being it's not worth your money five star b and pick this up straight away and if i pick anything in between or one of them two i will elaborate on the reason i have chose i've chose my rating so yeah let's pretty much get straight into it also link to this in the filters in the description down below if you didn't want to pick up this item or just pick up the filters these are pretty good filters i'll go over that a bit more when i get the filter when i pick up the filter but anyway the gas mask let's get into it so biggest reason i got it was the palmeronic lens panoramic i think i'm saying that right pameronic lens because that will give me a better field of vision if i'm in a bug out or survival situation where i need to go and do something in an area that might be contaminated or maybe i'm bugging out of an area that's contaminated so i mean something like this gives me a better field of vision if i'm driving or on foot and if anything such as attackers or anything along them lines might get him away it'll give me it give me a lot better vision to be able to see i was between this and an s10 the reason i didn't get the s10 it was purely because of the fission ports on that the lenses i like a panoramic view from aromatic lenses and so now let's go over some of the features on the front so on the front here you've got the uh fully style from so the point of this if you do not know is so you can speak for it whether you're speaking someone over a radio a mobile phone or just in person that way your voice can be heard still through this but still sealed and safe inside then you've got this this is the the 40 millimeter nato thread where you put the uh gas mass filter oh this i did also this would also come with a brand new fp5 filter but uh that one will be covered with the rest of the fillers and it did come with some information about uh the gas mask uh and yeah that will be one with the rest of the fillers this has been test filter both the exact same filter though i think that one might be newer though yeah uh so that's where you put the thread 40 millimeter 40 millimeter nato thread and then you've got the uh exhale valve here which is just underneath this thing if you took that off it won't really matter i mean i'm just going to leave it on because i've got always going to take it off so that's the front of me biggest point for me buying it like i said palmer mcq now let's turn this around so on the back uh you have this nice little neck strap so when it's not in use you can just have it like that uh either hanging off your neck or you could put it back in your bag that you might have to keep something like this and i do have the old uh gas mask bag that i will be keeping this in that juniper bad for years it's just a satchel bag but it's a s10 gas mask bag but that's what i'll be keeping this in uh i got that years ago though i got it from a military surplus just for a bag oh yeah i don't know why i'm rubbling uh so yeah so nice little neck strap so you can keep it on while you're while you're not in a contaminated area so if you are if you if something's happening like some chemicals get released or you've come in there with chemicals already released or your gag account that goes off you can stick this on and you protect it straight away so now let's go over this so where it has a five uh five strap uh head uh elastic head rubber i don't know what it's called now head strap five thingy head strap but only four of these are adjustable uh the top one here is not adjustable at all it's just in place but it is a one size fits all so i guess that won't matter also another thing where i keep on coughing distinctive hand sanitizer which is really good this on the box it did say come in all completely slim companion sanitizer so either the people who delivered it or the person who sent it out completely sprayed all this in hand sanitizer well our sanitizer probably not a hand sanitizer to uh you know lower the risk of contracting the pandemic are covered from this so let's now stick it on test it oh also one little bad thing that i i don't think it will affect it is this bits loose in here i wonder if i can here head okay it's comfortable obviously in a situation where you put in something on this quick house i'm gonna try and get fairly comfortable because i'll see you and wear it for a bit pressure checked it well it's just to make sure it's all sealed don't know oxygen getting through there if this is we'll covered the filter in a minute uh like before i deepen the filament i'll tell you what i've got to test it so i've got three different things to test it i've got some aftershave to mainly test the their seal and camera says to fill there same thing we'll do the alternate same thing with the air freshener let's now open up this filter oh good thing about this filter why i'm putting it on and this does work with both fully 40 millimeter nato threads and 40 millimeter gauss threads from what i've read on it so if you do have something like the gp5 graph mask this sp5 filter should work on it breathing nice and well hold on nice and tight we're good i think it looks a bit off center bottom that's just the way i put it on a little bit of fatigue here yeah i think it's just where it is on myself but we're good yeah but uncomfortable i can deal with it right so let's do testing whatsoever completely sealed this is the bottom all good [Music] thought at least a little bit of scent would come through but like i said first i'm using the gas mask so i'm really surprised that he is as well uh yeah he's working it more oh it says so this is more of a wallpaper it's like all this stuff is different chemicals so that kind of tests the gas masks i mean the filter in the seals on the gas mask you know what i've got through there then nothing my face isn't working in here but this way it's quite warm in here thought nothing comfy and no scent [Music] whatsoever clean the lenses [Music] the fragrance oh just scared about taking this off that was me just coughing and that wasn't nothing to do with the gas mask oh just me anticipating coffee i'm gonna take this off oh my god this one i'm [Music] through but it is helping quite a lot this little dismaster anyway so that's a point oh that stinks [Music] to clean after always like it tastes like just a flower but my hands just feel dirty it's probably because i've just been spraying all the laughter it's quite thick and stuff yeah now let's go over the gas masks any bits that didn't like sort know he's in the background which is my dog messing about and by the way if anyone's gonna say why spraying all this sweet dog in the room both windows are up in here so all the air gets sucked straight out and i've got my fan on silent mode over there blowing the smoke towards me uh well in front of him so if he's left behind the fan so if any of it goes over there i'm going to blow it back this way and he's not asked i'm not spraying that much i'm afraid i'll straighten my face and the window is just there so well let's go over the gas mask it seems to be honest is coming over here and exploring them but yeah so let's go over the gas mask uh really well really just with it nothing i can say that's bad about it except for one little thing here were the chin straps well not really chin but where the straps were i could still smell that bit of a bit of fatigue on the bottom of the jaw but that's really it um gas master both work well i recommend both of these uh everything i got before seems to be working it seems a bit off center but i think that's just me putting on like i said first time ever putting on the gas mask in my life i'll obviously have to get better with it better with it i'll probably sort that out inside as well that's one of the bad thing but i think that's just that's nothing that affects how effective it is at keeping you safe uh inside there that bit there is just just that one just like that floppy but i'll just i'll just fix that with a bit of a glue or something or a bit of solid tape keep that nice keep moved get that so it's not irritating uh so so for that uh there are the bad things now let's go over the good things i liked about this and all the things were pretty much said before voice diaphragm i could hear it pretty clearly in the year so where i'm guessing it worked and my face was sealed some sound i might have been able to hear and i knew what scenes looks different when you the person hearing it but but from what i can tell it sounds like the voice diaphragm was working uh the exhale valve did what he's meant to do exhaled all the carbon dioxide that would have been inside the mask and then filter on the filter thread both with as well i got no sense whatsoever the entire time my head was in there i did not smell anything so the seal the filter working recommend this filter recommend this gas mask pick them up straight away five-star rating honestly really chuffed with it for the first time buying a gas mask is my first experience with one boy it's pretty simple to put on pretty easy to use one size fits all for anyone who's buying this forever a collector or for survival or prepping purposes i definitely recommend picking up something like this five-star rating 100 only bad thing was a bit of fatigue there but if you adjust it to the size perfectly really not really will not affect you all really was a little bit of fatigue just a little bit uncomfortable there that was it nothing major once you make your jaw around it kind of went away that anyway but that's much really tough of it would really recommend picking this up for what it is uh this is probably uh maybe mid to high range of the prices being the price it was 55 56 pounds uh it wasn't it was a little bit more because i did get the filter with it uh because because you said you can either get it with a filter included or without so far screw it might as well get another filter with it and it turned out to be one of these fp5 filters when i read the description on it and these were already ones that i ordered because they did really good fillers but that's the points of filter good job uh i'd give that five star rating as well but this is the first filter on first gas must have used for my first experience really chuffed with these if they ever do buy any of the gas masks i mean i'm planning on buying some gp five gas masks for my family so i'm gonna get some of that i will do testing some of them and that is the lower end of the market so someone who's on a budget you could pick up something like that so i will do a review on that when i pick one up pick up one of them items or i might get the gp7 i'm not too sure yet but if i get either one of them or both of them i will let you guys know and i'll be reviewing it obviously so uh yeah really hope you enjoyed this
