it's the madman okay so this is going to be going into the bold unknown where i attempt to build a mid-range warlock deck one that perhaps has unique advantages versus control lock oh i have corset that's why it was like looking so it's like where are all the cards that i want to put in [Laughter] okay let's see so has transfer student actually but yeah it's it's been good i think i want to put in the wash post i do want to put an armor vendor this corporate is no good in this deck the bright wing is too slow and then for two drops i think the vial fiend might be too slow it's often been too slow so with the felsil jailer that does uh corrupt the cascading disaster i made sure to put in enough fives and sixes wait why did i put in twisting nether right this deck doesn't want that rust dude summon all friendly minions that died this turn could i possibly get this to mid-range alongside karen and ring matron that would be interesting it's there's also a certain type of amusement where i'm playing a free-to-play deck and i put like all these legendaries in i guess i'll just throw in a news oh hog rancher hog rancher we're missing hogs those are good i think hellfire does not actually fit this deck very well hmm let me check again how many good spells there are in warlock so ray's dead's okay i guess demonic studies that's fine philosophy i do actually have warlock cards maybe the scorpid is more okay in a mid-range type deck it wasn't very good in control i can see that if you have a mid-range deck perhaps you can use more of the results so maybe scorpid is actually legitimate yeah that might be the case actually so i'll run both scorpions also i think i'll run that over right wing or maybe the legendaries are better now that the trash legendaries are gone wait right wing i don't think i've quite grasped how much better brightwing could be now yeah the jailer doesn't seem great if i don't have the tempo to go with it i'll toss one of those i do want to test out one still okay so here we go this is an interesting creation from trump laboratories mid-range value lock running a ton of legendaries but like showcasing that all these cool legendaries from the core set can now be run look at all those legendaries wait it's dennis i played against him um dennis was a control lock but i'm back dennis i'm back with the foil to your deck you may have removal but my cards are so hard to remove i'll out value your removal in fact this might actually sound a little crazy but i think this deck actually has advantages over control lock where did you find him where they have control cards i have value cards and the value cards will eat up more of the control cards my my problem though with the previous deck was that was a zoo deck and the cards just didn't do enough by themselves but now perhaps hmm that was pretty good for me he's all right but seriously when i think of like cards that are problematic for control lock cairn and two ring matrons rank pretty high on the list you say hmm yeah i got two cascading disasters let's pressure is a face and now my cards do so they mean so much more business so i actually have support alongside lord jaraxxus i think i point out jaraxxus here there's two different schools of thought i jaraxxus coin infernal all day on ten or i coined your axis to be able to well you know when you actually think about it coin jaraxxus on eight only basically lets you do another uh inferno on nine but jaraxxus on 10 with the hero power immediately is similar i think that's actually better for this type of deck yeah i actually have hard removal for these big minions instead of trading multiple minions into one now wait this could actually work [Music] oh what okay all right well i got the cascading at least it's actually pretty good here and i think having a minion now it's pretty good here interesting that used to cost one oh right it's the uh it's a discovered card i think when it returns to him it'll right my bad okay well but this deck it's uh off to a good start the results here weren't good but uh i think that was variance in envoy envoy variance it's fine it was it's the deck showed promise that's the important part okay the hope is that by moving my deck more towards mid-range that i didn't destroy my aggro matchup though as i match up against demon hunter here it is possible that i'll slide in one uh twisting nether in here just because it is so good with your axis it's nice to have that one clear turn jaraxxus uh twisting nether hero power i i should probably put one of those in the deck i just thought two cascading disaster would be enough you know it it probably is enough i just happened to go up against something um with way more board threats than i thought would be possible i think uh don't over change the deck from that one game last game might be correct goodness kind of looking for coil that hysteria would have been decent too wait a second those eye beams cost one man of both times from the drunk side wait a second were you cheating what's wrong all right three mana two three though i can't be too upset although you know that card would have been insane against my tailin it's a little bit funny like i had alluded to earlier uh i'm matching up against really good decks because i've been winning a lot so the way to fix it and to match up against none not dex is to lose a little bit more we were too powerful armor all right this is actually a pretty decent board against dantain i was most happy that i had a one seven in play a shame it only took one day one six rather my karen only took one damage well looks like this match went reasonably the high inquisitor white main is probably too ambitious in this deck oh but i do have like two giant death rattles no it might be fine nice that's a bird bird and you know even if the battlecry doesn't go off almost ogre almost ogre oh yep man crick is mad that i tapped last [Music] oh [Music] i think that might be an achievement maximum suck what did i unlock there i need to like remember to roll my mouse over the level thing i definitely would love to have another armor vendor in this deck you know i just no no the thing is i can't quite craft the armor vendor yet even though i'm not probably not going to open very many darkmoon uh packs because i'm not 100 sure what uh class i'm going to be playing i think i'll know what class i'm going to be playing once i get to level 25 and then i do the big choose a deck choice i'm just uh stalling a bit because i think first yeah that's a good hog rancher play it's almost like si70 now where was i i'm stalling a little because maybe i find a card that i'll i'll change everything between here and level 25 and also maybe i'll come up with a brilliant new deck archetype that the world has never seen before like mid-range warlock this card any minions drawn oh i was going to slam that marshawn watch post on three it suddenly doesn't look like a good play wow womp womp watch post also i forgot to put twisting nether in this deck okay so i have to imagine next turn there's going to be a lot of tutus in play do i have an answer to that i don't that's very scary oh sure selection or to have small aoe maybe i should put in the hellfire but mid-range decks typically don't run aoe because of the friendly fire tough followed up by arbor up followed up by despair this is not what we stood for maybe i could try some sort of um you know i called this mid-range but if i took out even more of those you know just zooey type cards i could put in the the aoe and it might actually work it becomes then not a uh mid-range deck but actually a control value deck instead of a hard control deck so cut felsel cut sneaky now sneaky can be like [Music] so the goal is first of all put in a hellfire and putting a twist in white mane is too ambitious what i want is the efficient these cards i want the really good value cards so it's like control lock but you've also got sneaky delinquent and transfer student in hog rancher and scorpid and rusty draider and care and ring matron it's actually quite a good hand turn four eight eight row are you sure you've got that but you see this is the benefit of this deck versus a control deck control deck's just going to roll over and die and you know all these spells but my deck i got the possibility holy crap what a hyrule this deck it has the possibility of putting out some proactive threats dang what happened i wonder dead from the shadows this is not what we stood for watch this come in coming everyone's a winner that could be the new water elemental on attack could also be another wing portal you know i didn't do a certain analysis which is is trick totem way better now a lot of the bad spells got removed it might be way better now ah okay we've got two hard removal one aoe removal another two aoe removal doesn't clear my side and then we got the mr j to finish things out it's a pretty quiet turn i can afford to do this [Music] tricked did you plan that but yes now i've got the twisting nether hero power combination i could have sworn that i cost mana so he must have drawn a minion oh he played deck first of course um so i think since i've actually got cascading this is the turn where i twist and then i use the cascading and the siphon and the turrellion for uh removal that doesn't remove my side that must have been flurry to get a three drop all right this is the card i'd like him to copy and i'll just pay the taxes it's fine wow you know there's a big difference between this opponent and the last opponent i played that was spell mage that last opponent drew into a bunch of card drawing spells so i guess it must be not as op when you don't just draw a billion cards afterwards oh no i fell for it it's still new in the expansion i still don't remember that it exists one uh let's see terrillion would freeze itself probably the right plan anyways now siphon might be better that's better than the inferno button ah mage out of cards now that's a good sight to behold [Music] well that's cool this deck the last deck my zoo deck i think would have lost to this uh mage but this deck it won progress apple approves oh man spell mage is really popular wait did i just re-cue into the same person no okay hmm bad spell mage draw yeah i mean i was thinking about pointing out this but now this should be on average better maybe this would have been better i'll show you how to dormant his opening is actually quite good against two watch posts oh wow wow what a summon holy toledo um deal one damage to meaning if that kills it draw a card i think that actually works i've never actually you know done that before that's cool that was a pretty strong start the double imprisoned observer into huge jaundice and that in prison made me not want to play anything oh loose oh it's the elemental again but what can you do of course unforgiving struggle hmm cool it's a mid-range mage deck with it seems like a major frost theme it was too fast for me the double imprisoned observers they were too almost out strong time slow him down far enough far watch post slow him down that was cool duck though those inconspicuous writers got the oasis allies and that was just really strong and he started with the observers and the jandice was so insane and sat me behind the whole time the game worked out nicely for him a little frost theme too maybe stabilize them [Music] seems like being a frost theme it would be against theme to put fireball on the deck have fire have frost copyright infringement am your nightmare okay here we go dennis take three but i'm back with well not that many changes since i last faced but this time maybe you won't get in that much of an insane envoy rust wicks and this time i have the power of the darkmoon faire behind me wow shop um still tempo right tempo i guess ah this is such a perfect coil [Music] i'm recoil it's actually pretty hard to get valiant coil in this the matchup a disaster god hysteria no you know i should actually start playing around that card i haven't been and it's been actually punishing me hysteria is insane there's been a card that's been woefully underrepresented in hearthstone it's so good in arena oh i've got an idea idea but first get farmed okay it's only played one card that's five plus this will eventually copy ring matron and that'll be good and sooner rather than later because i've got tailin and i should be able to play any card on the right side of my hand wait no i'll draw ring matrix and it'll be on the right side of my head no i have to get through all these that's fine i still copy i still copy yeah that's that's all that matters but what about i pull out a inspiration i just had it's like wait if i'm just running comeback cards then why run hellfire when i actually keep like scrolling past this card and noticing that i actually have it i unpacked two scavenging shivar and that is a really really lucky unpack because i can actually play that if i'm running hellfire i might as well just run shavar instead now i just need to cut one more card i guess sneaky delinquent foolish mage lord jaraxxus is just around the corner hmm a babbling secret homes on the loose well it would suck if one of those one ones became a three six i guess i'll just pass of cards that's a good sign that's a good sign wait is vaporize not in the horizon anymore counter spell ice barrier miranda no it's this tracker that's ruining the spellbender isn't it either i'm dumb 23. yeah there's like you got a ridge oh i could have had the opponent die to fatigue i think that's an achievement not that matters it's not an achievement that actually matters i think i could use a hellfire to deal with early swarms because turn six might be a little too late along with the chevrares uh i guess i'll get rid of sneakiness nice board or a transfer student i also just realized something and it's surprising that it took me so well so long to recognize this to realize this but also um i don't think i would have realized unless i had transfer suit in my deck you don't get the classic boards at all and the anymore i notice is because this thing is never you know the the classic boards i think that made this card way better there's only four options you can only get ranked spell which is good also five head putting in venomous scorpion by the way you can only get rank spell you can only get dual class card uh the corrupt thing and the dormant thing that seems really good you might want to consider running transfer student in your actual ducks or realzy's oh a fellow brightwing very bright of you i've never actually played around with this board i think it's because it looks very plain i wonder if there's like any gigantic secret in this board reporting for duty okay in the case that it's avenge that's fine reckoning okay he's fine okay i don't really need the heel i suppose i was like hesitating on using it because i didn't heal but that's fine do i care about mozaki [Music] he's actually thinking about playing the cardi district he's gonna do it well played quickly he seems sad fixed mana true silver yeah brightwing might be a little too slow in this deck i was like the theory was all the bad legendaries rotated out so you know you only get good ones but i guess there are still a bunch of situational ones which aren't bad but they're just uh you know not relevant for this deck oh oh no i forgot to buff your axis just kidding irrelevant wait but i did get rattle gore that one time yeah pay those taxes [Music] 357 i'd rather not play divine shield against the one one so i won't cool okay i'm gonna try to keep all these minions in my hand until turn ten and then we will buff them up this guy actually has a very similar deck as me it's cool we're free to play brothers i mean everyone is it's just i happen to have a cued into a few guys who i've gotten a head start in crafting stuff or perhaps i've just been playing for longer than i have you know i'm only watching it this account's like a week old but yeah yeah i'm seeing all those cards the bright wing the man crick the gold scorpid for like level somewhere in the mid teens the vulgin the talon cool stuff cool stuff i want to corrupt that and then kill all three of those i guess i can actually do all of the above yeah 2.54 has trained to become tyrion reporting for duty [Music] hmm yeah that card's just so good it's so cheap to craft also just a hundred dust i'm sure having this card in my deck would uh improve my win rate a lot and that watch post did some serious work i conditioned my scorpions into like the actual you know there's there's one that's really big flavor flavor win there one damage off two five six seven it's like should i just play it it's pretty good but it might be a little bit slow compared to the rest of the stuff i could do i could just play this wipe the board and like just always win i'll just do that it's a very paranoid way of winning jeez gul'dan versus ends now your soul shall be mine nice [Music] uh hmm otk can i beat otk not otk nice classic aggro opening but aha i now have neutral si7 agent what is this one after you play an outcast card game plus one plus one should i be afraid of that it's not like i can do anything about it right now i'll deal with it next turn unless i can't somehow oh school spirits the card is so good i want this in my deck instead of stupid hellfire i want it see that's the that's part of the genius of discover it gives the players cards that um as they play they're like oh i want that kurt the last poor warlock whatever i didn't want to play these cards anyways double taxation this is outrageous [Music] that's my spotlight let's see he has 2 6 10 14 health on the board that's not enough for javara the school spirits would be able to leave only the towers up i don't think that's particularly good for me yeah i should just play another one of these and i guess i'll play i'm swarm but i'm so close to upgrading it no that's too greedy so you'll notice that i actually don't put that big a priority on killing far watch post or i mean i haven't really had an opportunity to do so but i think killing for watch post late game is kinda optional so it's not that bad it's not like i need to have efficient mana usage this late in the game vodka one two three four five six health nice nice ouch it's king crush number one if i tap and then siphon soul i'll be a 10 that's above that's out of range of the second king crush i guess what have you sacrificed hey six that puts me at nine which is in range of second king crush oh oh no okay it's fine i do think i'm
