Exploring the GREAT PLATEAU in Tears of the Kingdom!

hey everyone welcome back to tears of the Kingdom today we're going to be diving right into the great Plateau I figure we're a little bit overdue for a Nostalgia trip back to breath of the Wild's opening scene so why not jump right here into the great plateau and see how things are and see how things have changed I mean so far it looks pretty similar minus the shrines being missing oh and there's a cave right here hello bloopy I'll take those rupees thanks and here we are running out to the opening cut scene and after so many visits out to this spot it's really different to see it here in tears of the Kingdom all right enough of the Nostalgia let's go explore Shrine of Resurrection it's definitely a cave here and it's laid out the exact same way except now there's a little bubble gem creature thing bubble frog whatever you want to call it well the shrine is gone I would have got like a one of the hot springs this thing can heal you oh that's kind of a fun little Easter egg that they got in here but wait is there more back there's a hole that's interesting and what's this um that's that's not chica is this it's yiga ah look at all those bananas have they set up a little Outpost here on the great plateau uh the noble surgeons scrounging for scraps you fell for the oldest trick in the book you stumbled into our secret Storehouse of treasures from the depths and now that you've seen it I can't let you live your life ends here oh it was a trap oh there's two of them okay let's get a better weapon there goes one I did not mean to use my rocket there but that's okay come here you there we go only took one of the um stewards from down below hey Stuart what's going on thank you for driving away The Intruders those Interlopers carried me here with them from the depths I have no way of returning to where I was stationed there I will therefore continue my work here my task in the depths was managing schema stones and a great deal of zonite was in mind from a process there um all right well cool we got a new schema Stone the beam cycle ooh very nice all right now let's keep on exploring let's head over to the Temple of time that's usually the last area that you go to but I will con I want to see what's going on with the paraglider spot there's probably a treasure chest or a korok or something up there I'm sure things seem so familiar yet so different oh that's a big bus that's right there the um normally there's only red and maybe blue but goblins up here on Master mode and here they are it has black ones awesome oh oh they do a lot of damage go ahead and heal up real quick let's try that again shall we oh thanks guys here you know you take care of that guy shot all right now let's head up to the Temple of Time I want to see what's going on up here but there is a treasure chest oh I'll take that oh it's a Nostalgia fabric it's the same paraglider that we got in the beginning oh that's fun that was a cool little detail all right and this is shining um hello got a statue I'm the only shine when I have enough of the lights of blessings um hello I am trapped under the water behind the Stone Gate of the great Plateau what what um well that's interesting who's this talking that that was not the that was not hylia well let's go check it out oh sure enough there's something going on right here let's bust that open oh we get to drain it now oh poor little fishies [Music] I'll just go ahead and snag those guys though thank you now there's somebody trapped here it wasn't the fish was it no oh it's one of those post statue things hello you hear my voice come to me in the temple of time that's where I just was on the road of the plateau South yeah that's that's fine here I I can go ahead and go back up there I guess here I was just up there you could have talked to me earlier so it's highly in League with these post statute things you who hear my voice as a result of draining the water from the gate a part of me has been freed you have earned my gratitude I speak to you now from the depths Below in the skies of this statue oh oh well what is it then oh the each of those four chasms are where the shrines used to be I direct you to the four chasms across this plateau each one has one of my eyes nearby drop them into the chasms then deliver the stones to me who dwells in the depths below do all this and a reward shall be yours ooh interesting all right let's start off where the magnesis shrine used to be oh and sure enough there's one here in the water okay interesting glowing eye thing and what do I just drop it in here now okay oh it it updated okay I want to see where this thing goes so let's just drop right in and follow the eye down there not ball time there we go dive okay there's some pose down here well I've already lit this area up that's good and there's the eye so what where do I take it I guess we'll take it directly below the Temple of Time oh it's this place this is the the great Hyrule Central mine or whatever okay um so where do I find this thing now I guess I'll take the eye with me and explore a little bit now where is this oh oh there it is it's it's a giant statue Hey sir I've got your eye here please don't hurt me here you go it's not gonna come alive is it you've returned one of my eyes to me thus far after you've ever found to eat my eyes on the plateau above each of them near a Chasm bring every last one here to me all right so I guess we'll go back up and try and find the last uh find the other ones real quick all right now that we grab that Shrine nearby that should be a little easier to explore and jump up here so weird to just run around here and see all this fun stuff that's going on oh boy that's those hands nope nope okay we're running now um goodbye I think if I just hide up here they can't reach me right I'm just gonna hang out up here please don't kill me drag me down to the depths or whatever you do okay looks like they do not like me being up here oh but they disappeared and Phantom Ganon did not spawn okay so that's the way we do it we just run from them great awesome and got with these dark Clump things whatever they are on to the next Chasm an eyeball thing oh look here's a little Camp I wonder if we can make them confused and attack each other okay that doesn't seem to work as well as I hoped well you know what we've got two of our little guys here they they can probably take this and if I confuse them enough then they should be able to do some damage right you guys fight each other okay that's what the metal battle is supposed to do metal buds or whatever man that big boss doesn't actually do any damage to the other guys ow but he does some damage to me you're supposed to be attacking them not me jerk here I am just trying to avoid the fight they're just being rude oh thank you too Lynn you're at least doing a good job [Music] fine make me do everything myself okay there we go boss mccoblin down ah now we can head off to where the bomb trial was oh look at that it's blocked off again here you know what break it open oh and look there was an eye inside of the wall oh glad it got open then and we'll just go ahead and drop that in and then we'll go grab the other ones first and then come back I think let's head off to the dasis what is going on here this is the old man's Hut not a yiga hideout what they took over the old man Hut and turned it into a yoga High out I I'm I'm sorry Zelda your your dad's hut kind of got taken over but that was rude at least we can get a korok here I'm guessing though that they want bananas not apples look at that he did want bananas hey Brutus all right now let's go ahead and go in here and see what's going on uh toolin can I get your help here for a second there we are now what is going on here who's there wait you your link thought you'd Ambush us did you well you're the one getting ambushed today oh oh it's a swordsman okay um let's take out him first okay that's one down and two down nice well that was easy so what were you trying to hide in here huh oh there's somebody in here let me go hey I'm working as fast as I can please just give me a little more time wait you're not one of them yeah that I I just defeated them you chased off the yiga clan you mean I can get out of here oh hurray those ziga guys were forcing me to make weird outfits for them why me your guess is as good as mine maybe because of my reputation for a flashy fashion I only let CeCe brand threads touch this body ah more fashionista I see I don't want this mask to fall into their hands but I can't bring it with me say would you want to take this a yoga Mask wait I can pretend to be a yiga that's pretty cool that thing is decidedly not my style I'm actually dressed like this so that I can confess my feelings to the woman who stole my heart her name is nobo she's beautiful with fashion sense that Rivals my own she's probably at a stable somewhere at any rate we're meant to be so I know that fate will guide me to her take care now I hope you find someone to love too okay well um I don't know if I'll be finding them with the yiga mask but hey that's pretty cool we can disguise ourselves like a yiga that's awesome I wonder if we can diet too that'll be fun oh and it looks like they've got hideouts all over Hyrule so that's where we are now and it looks like there's one over by korok Forest one where their usual Hideout is and one up to the Northeast I guess we'll go find those another time read the Giga Clan Journal sure the yiga bulletin confidential notes uh item one our research division has developed new vehicles the gloom dreader and the hoverdoom Mark III if one of those Vehicles is damaged please contact a member of the research division in the depths right away item two it is imperative that all Espionage Asians in the field learn the Earth wake technique addendum the earthquake technique can only be learned at the hideouts training area oh an earth what is that that sounds awesome well let's go ahead and Mark those locations on the map and then we'll try and visit those another time sweet I definitely want to learn this earthquake technique sounds like an earthbender move let's do oh who is this on the door is that supposed to be link or Zelda oh my gosh that is hilarious uh the yiga clan are the best but I don't think I can wear this mask right now I just can't take myself seriously uh that is awesome I love the yiga all right now let's continue on with our adventure here um let's go ahead and figure out where this next one is it's probably buried under some of this Rubble not under that one not behind here um is it up there no oh there it is it was underneath this first one nice okay all right that's three down in the depths now and so just one more to go so let's head off to cryonis and while we're here we can go ahead and take care of this guy here nice hello I'll take that nice little pine cone you got there for a hat okay now this thing is probably buried in the ice if I had a guess um let's go ahead and start with this one here you know Bo can you help out with this well you helped a little bit um I'll you know I'll just throw some fire fruit at it that should probably do the trick there we go all right and that's all of them down there so I guess we'll Dive Right In and try and bring him back to the big giant statue oh hello I don't mind me I'm just trying to no no attack the the zonai device no not them I don't care about ow them I wanted to just get in the cart and drive away thank you leave me alone thank you for stealing one of my hearts that was rude just trying to mind my own business get this eye back to this guy all right that's two and three and number four okay please giant statue don't come alive and attack me oh he's got two noses too I didn't realize that you have returned to me my eyes the vessels of my spirit we can now speak properly in ancient times my eyes were stolen and sealed away for eons I have awaited one who would hear my voice and return them to me as promised I will repay your kindness by bestowing Good Fortune upon you just as long as you're not gonna you wait you give me a heart container or a stamina vessel oh that's nice uh I'll take the stamina vessel please that strength that you've chosen will be yours awesome that's a free upgrade I'll take that well thank you kind sir here I was thinking you would come alive and attack me or something oh we've collected quite a few pose here we might as well talk to him and see if we can trade him in for something oh you got some clothing items tunic of the depths shirt Gloom resistance oh that's nice I'll take one of those okay that's that's really cool well that was a fun little Quest here of course there's a korok up here that needs to go all the way to the top oh man it's such a fun Nostalgia trick to go here and then see how they've expanded it with going to the depths as well such a cool design [Music] now get out of here I'm trying to help this korok octorock 2 oh my gosh just leave me alone let me help this Cora thank you here I am trying to be part of the Kerbal Space Program and they won't leave me alone enjoy your flight uh reunited and it feels so good [Music] well that was fun taking a trip down memory lane exploring the great Plateau seeing all the sights definitely a lot of fun I think next time we'll explore the skies up here a little bit there's a giant Tower up in the sky over by the lake that I want to go check out so we'll probably do
