Skip to 26:09 if it doesn't by default. The enormous stopes in this video have always impressed me. For those who don't know, a stope is the void remaining after miner's remove an orebody.
The largest stope they find is videoed at the timestamp above. The time, labor, resources, and expense to excavate a space of that size must have been tremendous. Pretty amazing!
