doesn't watch my show he's got christmas presents in grandma and grandpa's garage but he don't watch so he don't know oh man we were low on gas the other day should i get gas all right so what i bought is not an animal and it's not here we got to go get it i'm going to take you guys with me but i'll show you why we got it but i feel like i'm yelling also breathing in fumes that's better so we will uh go pick that up after we feed the rest of this crew out here oh wait hey look out there she is miss america oh boy lady what are you saying let's get some water i'm spilling it hang on you're he's smokey he's been patiently waiting that's pretty cool one thing about the walkers having highlands is there's a lot of unknowns when you start into a new breed like this like gary's known gary and cassie have known cattle for years probably half my life if not more so what's really cool if you guys didn't know gary gary's a cattle nerd he loves it so hang on there we go let me just stand back with gary being a cattle nerd and so am i i'm just not as versed i don't know what to look for that's important um it's just so pretty they all are but if you guys didn't uh see their video go watch it just walker farm fans most recent video i'll try to remember to put it in the description uh not the comments just the description you know the beefy boys as tame as they were my beefy boys those angus holstein steers we just ran to the processor as tame as they were they'd still kick getting into the trailer they'd still try and knock you down i mean if you haven't seen that video i'm gonna put in the description as well of gary loading them for me because that's just that's just cattle that's what they do and you know i was warned when i got those angus holstein um uh steers i was warned back then even though they're bottle babies even though you can lay with them and you know i was cuddling with them and all that stuff even though you can do all that they're still cattle and they'll still kick but if you watch gary and cassie's last video gary was in all of his nerdness if you will and all of that he was still shocked when he was still shocked when the fold that he picked up the five the five uh he's got five cows and three are bred he was still shocked at how docile they were and how they just like they wouldn't even go in the trailer but they weren't resisting they just kind of do whatever they want you know and they got those massive horns he's got i think they're five to seven years old which isn't very old now walkers have a video coming out with a whole lot of information gary's really going to nerd out i can tell but where i got fred from there's a black mama cow on that farm that still calves and she's 20 years old so when you talk about an expense or an investment you're not going to have a mama angus heifer not not every single one of them like both of these girls and the two heifers i got coming and gary and cassie's they could calve until they're 20. you're not gonna have your entire angus heifer or entire angus cow herd cav until they're 20. it's not gonna happen so you might spend a little less but they're not gonna last as long i don't know how close she'll get if i don't look she'll get closer she has no idea you guys are watching come here so anyway that's really cool i'm just super excited i mean when you think about the investment i've made we're not gonna that's a big question we get are you gonna eat them no no these are an investment they're going to be on my farm a long time now when i have four heifers here in february uh originally i was going to get two more before christmas but the farm they're coming from worked them last week and they're just still very attached to their moms and we don't need to go into winter pulling a calf off its mom too early so under their advisement and what i've learned in the last two years they're not going anywhere they're already spoken for they just need to stay on their mama cows because we don't we don't know it's 55 degrees today 65 but you know last february all across the country it was like negative 10 and negative 12 negative 17 for a week we definitely don't want to do anything too early but just super excited but these cows are an investment and what i was going to say is that we're now we're not going to eat them okay now if they have a calf a bull calf that's maybe less than desirable maybe he's a little bit smaller framed i'll probably turn him into a steer and we would eat him but it still takes a couple years to grow that steer out um a lot of people will put a highland for the leanness in their meat with like a a dexter or i've even seen some highland angus crosses that'd be pretty cool so that's just a regular old salt block well mineral block what are you going to call it this is a mineral block from safeguard gary uses the same thing among other things but this is actually a dewormer and we didn't have one in here because i think it's 60 days i'll link it down below i don't have a code or anything like that but i think before you process like we did with the beefy boys you can't they can't be on this or you don't want it on them anyway it's like medicine you don't want them eating that before you process them so once the girls showed up they'd already been dewormed with their other farm but this is a dewormer and a mineral block and it works great the beefy boys had no issues and what i did is i just gave them uh let's see i bet they had four of these over their life here on the farm in 20 months so that's pretty cool if i move it'll spook her i don't want to do that somebody's coming up who's that fred yeah they're loving that thing the other day you guys were kind of pushing each other around is that stopped are we friends now is that just a little posturing he's like hey i'm the man and you're like hey i'm the one man hmm that how it went that's how it went jumbo the how it went well you let me touch you the other day what's going on because there's no food fred likes it fred likes it look see that feels good let me scratch your head scratch it okay we'll work on it we'll work on it all right i gotta get moving because what we're gonna do today hang on i gotta move this bucket or they they'll walk through the fence so in the last video i didn't even notice it until i was editing but you can go back and watch it fred has not had an issue getting out since we added this third wire i think it just wasn't in his line of sight that's why he went through it a couple times but zero issue since the third wire it's not even hot but don't tell him hey start walking no i'm not gonna walk yeah not happening not oh i might be walking let me get up to the thing before i run out of gas finish my thought there the other day fred in the video i didn't notice until i was editing but he touched the fence with his nose and kind of shook his head like he he felt it coming he knew something wasn't right whereas a couple weeks ago he's just walking underneath it so i would say that he has discovered or my camera just quit recording i don't know what i missed there but the other day fred touched it and shook his head he knew it was hot and that's that's new he wasn't doing that before so we're pretty excited all right let me get on the road i gotta get gas i got like an hour's drive to pick up the new toy so i've never owned one of these before i'm super excited you guys can be like that's lame it's lame but don't think that you guys make this possible and i see it yet it's pretty slick you still can't see it hang on hang on a second so we got this trailer because the trailer's not really for me and neither is what's going on the trailer i had to go get it because colin shannon my brother and sister-in-law they are at work and of course so's grandpa check us out look at that bad boy now there's there's more to this story okay i didn't just go get a trailer i mean i did but there's more to it but bath time look at that look how pretty that is that's like my it's like a farm purchase i mean it's not a tractor but now i can get a tractor because i got a way to get home i haven't been looking to buy things lately yeah buddy so my brother and sister-in-law and my dad went in on this trailer we all went in on it together because really ain't nobody gonna use it at once if i need it it's usually during the day and if kyle needs it and shannon it's usually at night and then i don't really know what my dad's gonna do with it but he wanted to go in on it with us so but actually that red four-wheeler right there that needs to go to our handyman and this green one the one i always use it runs like a champ little honda rancher i think it's a 400 yeah i don't know rancher es there's two different uh there's like a three or three fifty and then there's a four and a four hundred or a four hundred and a so i i don't know listen it goes when i hit the throttle that's all i want weed eater scooter only gas what in the world does that mean it's going into four-wheeler spoiler did run great we're gonna find out how well it runs great here in a minute i don't think this is mixed i'm just i'm just kidding i don't think i don't think it's mixed we're gonna find out in the world does that mean scooter and weed eater only gas not mixed am i missing something when did we have a scooter we had an electric scooter do we have a scooter i don't know if we have a scooter and i don't know about it i'm pretty upset because i'd like to ride a scooter especially gas powered it'd probably handle me a little better now we're going to go on another road trip honda okay we're going to get this on the trailer because i just bought it i want to take it somewhere i'm just going to drive around my four-wheeler and i'm just kidding i'm gonna take you guys to a place where we can run around with this thing and uh yeah so let's go now is grandpa talking about that's nice here if you buy a trailer and you're not sure if it's uh good or not just have me jump on it i don't know about you guys but if i can jump on your trailer it'll probably hold something grandpa and grandma have a camera in the woods they're probably watching me do that what the world's a boy doing now well you can't do it in third gear chad come on now all right now here's what's super cool it's got a uh and i know i'm geeking out about a trailer okay listen if i want to geek out about a pair of socks that's heavy dude if i want to geek out about a pair of socks i'm so anyway that's why i didn't film there very very pleased very very pleased but guess where i am you guys recognize that house recognize these woods how about all of that cleared land up there this is my brother and sister-in-law's place they have a channel in case you guys didn't know we don't want to do that yet k for kyle and s for shannon k s get out that's my brother and sister-in-law and they just bought they just bought this 20 acres that came with a came with a project and i know what they're gonna do with it but i think you guys should go over their channel and tell them howdy and all that good stuff they also just bought something else that you guys need to go check out which is why we bought this trailer boy i tell you what that's a big deal now you can take that off too i think yeah we won't but i just wanted to check anyway colin shannon just got something and it goes on this trailer as well it's kind of why we bought it it's why dad bought it cobb we all three went in on it which is awesome i can't believe they're letting me do this i tried to here's here's you know i do a lot for my brother and sister-in-law they do a lot for me they just got a new toy which beast and i got some sweet new tires on it so we're gonna go on a little ride i'm going to show you around kyle and shannon's place all right i've only got one camera so you're going to get the bird's eye view you ever get nervous doing this me too yeah you know what those brakes are those brakes are bad all right now out here i know we will probably never hit third gear i mean we probably clearing buildings when ain't nobody been out here for 48 hours and nobody's lived here for like 20 years except for the squatters it's always a little more nerve-wracking than you think i don't care i'm ready for colin shannon to build a uh structure out here so they can leave their four-wheeler out here you know so i can inspect it make sure it's good on me and my channel on me and my how do you get out of breath riding a four-wheeler but i think this is where they're gonna put the house i just could have made that up i have no idea i don't watch their videos super cool man 20 acres so it's really cool watching their adventure i've been at this like two years so my feet are a little bit more wet for those of you guys asking i'm not going to personally put animals out here i just don't need the space but they have plans to do that but there's a lot more work and cleanup than you guys could imagine they want to do it step by step they don't want to skip things they don't want to jump in with more than they can handle they're just having fun and that's what's so cool about watching so that's all i got for today i'll probably think of something else but that's for me and my channel
