Exploring Apocalyptic Abandoned Neighborhood left untouched and overgrown

[Music] [Music] what's up everybody welcome to today's video today we're exploring an entire abandoned neighborhood this place has i think it's five or six seven streets filled with homes we have over 36 houses on this property the history for this place is something really special so the place opened up as a honeymoon resort back in the 1960s and it was doing okay for the time but over the years resorts went downhill and eventually the place went out of business so with all these cabins in the woods they needed a use for it so somebody bought it turning them into affordable apartments and that went through in the 80s when the owner at the time needed money he went to the mafia they gave him a loan and i think everybody knows how the story goes the guy never paid the mafia back one day they came to his property at the front by the street knocked on his door said that his insufficient funds were not enough and they killed him and today we're gonna be exploring all 36 homes at least a lot of them i know some of them are messed up pretty badly but um we're walking through the woods we're next to the first building and right here we have a little kids bike rusting away out here so let's check it out if you guys enjoy this little abandoned neighborhood leave a thumbs up let's go check it out so right now we're on the corner of the property and as you can see we're pulling up some homes right now we're gonna start going into some and see what this place is about abandoned neighborhoods are super unique the hobby which i do urban exploring i always try to find the places that make me feel like i'm in the edge of civil civilization like completely post-apocalyptic and there's nothing more post-apocalyptic about an abandoned neighborhood something unique the street lamp is still on but running right in front of me you can see the downed wire some homes are way more destroyed than others this one is completely messed up roof collapsed the whole side wall is warping it's collapsing in on itself we're just gonna really walk around check out every single home we can [Music] we could actually just look right into this collapse home [Music] [Music] [Music] so we still just have playhouses outside toys i can't imagine the kids that grew up here i mean if they ever wanted to revisit their childhood home i think they would be pretty shocked try to get into this house so this home also looks like it was taken by squatters we do have some like children's clothes on the ground we got some spongebob right there cereal the one reason i feel like people were living in this house they taped all the windows with garbage bags so no one could see inside see lights inside or anything this obviously looks like a children's room but there's nothing here left so let's keep moving on so there's so many more homes to check out but i got distracted because there's a car over here there's actually a car abandoned in this neighborhood i wonder if there's more since there's already one this looks like a pretty cool car i'm not gonna lie and i'm not talking about this one but this is also cool a lot of kids toys left wow it's really stripped okay i was wondering what type of car this is it's a camaro that's so sick there's just an abandoned camaro chilling here in this abandoned neighborhood let's go check out 1106 home of its own supercar this place is a little bit trashed also so oh god it's a full fridge for the most part this place definitely has cabin feels to it oh my god the smell of the fridge is so overpowering and this is probably like the office or just living room area tv was stolen it looks like this is like a wii a mario kart controller i was spot on with that wii prediction because we have guitar hero 3 on way wimpy kid all we have over here nice scooby-doo dvd the first movie how do you even open this this is a weird case of course it's not in there i love scooby-doo though so far what i've taken from this place with only being in a few houses there were a lot of kids living here each house has multiple kids rooms [Music] there was an inflatable pool here on the porch along with a really old suitcase this is like vintage 1960s filled with water isn't that a shame look even says american airlines on it so this is actually on a flight once upon a time actually have a boat left behind [Music] like i said before complete and utter ghost town besides a slight breeze that we hear while inside the buildings there's no one else here but us this place has been abandoned for i would say decades probably and walking down these streets i can only imagine a child's memory i guess now they would be an adult but a memory of what their block looked like you know the friends you have a memory and you remember who lived in each house like and here no one lives anymore there's no neighbors there's no reminiscing there's no nostalgia it's just all forgotten places like this really do exist you just have to look for them to find them let's keep moving on getting really cool vibes from this place so over here in this end room you could really tell by the ceiling this place actually used to be a resort that's like the only remnants left of when this place was you know hotel honeymoon resort whatever you want to call it it looks like it keeps going place looks empty though and just based on the water damage right there this whole floor is soaking wet which is probably unstable like the rest of the buildings here so i'm gonna skip this one specific house and let's move into the next one there's some empty rooms the shower curtain's pretty cool yeah that's a little creepy for some reason even though it's just fish i think the dog is still around we're running into a lot of problems a lot of the doors for the place as you can see right there they're screwed shut they're nailed shut and we don't break into anywhere so we're just going to have to deal with the ones that we see and that are open now we're on a completely other street it's crazy how overgrown these streets are you could tell there were once just gravel just rocks never actually paved but nature is still reclaiming this place and to me that's that's what's beautiful about it the tree through this like seat the seat was just casually chilling on this wall for years and a tree came and said ranch i know and the tree came and said no you know what i'll take you now that's crazy overgrowth nature there's actually a decent amount left in here there's actually a tv in here oh really yeah oh my god there's a lot of stuff here so you got a vizio tv yeah old vacuum everything's left in this place this month this one must have been broken into recently i would say because a lot of the homes here do not look like this but you can imagine they all did before they were probably all broken into and stolen hp there's some modern electronics there's a whole like computer monitor i mean it's old yeah like there's still a vhs player it smells so bad oh wow why is there so many pickles oh my god this guy loves pickles do we dare open this fridge oh my can we do it before we leave yeah because i feel like it's gonna be overpowering you're right i'm really thinking the same thing there's another tv in this room here's the master bedroom or really the only bedroom all right so now we got to open the fridge let's see what's left i'm so scared right now time to open the fridge i'm holding my breath there's a lot of molds oh yeah there was nothing in there though yeah there was really not much i could breathe again that was a cool house fire extinguisher it says it's full yeah yeah so it's full or it's almost empty actually should i do it yeah sure oh my god yeah it does work nice good to know so so this is like the first house we've seen in a while that's open the floor is questionable in here so this house kind of stinks but one thing i find cool about is this cool castle door vintage style medieval has a cabin feel to it wow this is a really dusty house so far the interior of the kitchen i kind of like this one the best yo look at the bubbles in there there's a lot of drinks this is a really overgrown home look at the trees growing right through the stairs now there's some calendars here from 2010 2012. but this this specific home has definitely been abandoned way longer trees don't grow you know as big as those trees are they don't grow in seven years eight years so some went abandoned before the others that's for sure we're gonna continue our search here and see what other cool things we could find because that's the goal i like all the natural lighting in here yeah right this is a really beautiful home just a specific room a lot of natural light this looks like a little bit of a hoarder house got a lot of random stuff outside oh we actually have this skeleton on the door this halloween decoration still up i already like who lived here i like this old bench completely overgrown for some reason the way vines grow around man-made items they're just so satisfying to look at nice got a big fish tank in here cool got a big recliner are there any fish left inside it's actually just a lizard tank i think i don't think it's a fish tank this house has a reptar in it shout out to the rugrats look at that he's here that's pretty cool i've actually like never even seen a reptar stuffed animal like i said earlier in the video it's a common theme for the windows to be boarded up either with trash bags in this case it's a shower mat they just stapled it to the windows i don't understand what the point of that is like there's a rug nailed to the window if anybody has an idea what that may be for let me know because to me it just sounds like people were living in here and they just didn't want people to see them while they're inside you never know this is the house we were just in you could say with confidence that this guy just kind of didn't like throwing things out a little bit of a hoarder i'd say stuff all around his lawn sad part is he just left one day without cleaning it all up along with a lot of people here it's kind of a mystery while this place is still abandoned because with care and reconstruction i mean you could still live in these homes at least some of them i know a lot of them are collapsed but you know this is a whole neighborhood that could be used while there's so many homeless people out there just living under bridges taking any shelter they got here we are this is all free real estate what you got over there on the ground it's pretty sick oh it's a sega genesis ad yeah for sonic 2 that's super cool what's the other side of the game oh crap that's so awesome all the sega genesis the whole like playlist is on here pretty neat along with all the other stuff in here have a christmas tree still lying around so it's hard to say when this place went abandoned because we saw halloween decorations now we see a christmas tree still here who knows when it was abandoned the same old suitcase we saw before we have another one in red real dusty in there i love i love old briefcases though suitcases jatanno paris milan so pretty far in the property we have these long buildings here the only thing i can assume this would be is either a couple offices for the apartment complex or mess halls for when this place was a resort or a summer camp even that's kind of what it looks like to me but there's only one way to find out let's head inside and see what we find so these are like smaller apartments maybe yeah this is just well this is just one so they're all it's like almost like a motel setup you look at this ps3 a playstation so you got a playstation in here and you got a tv in here and someone bought a internet so i bought internet yeah so you got the whole thing in here yeah they had the whole setup yeah so these are these are individual homes like these are tiny little i actually get a motel vibe from this not gonna lie let's head into this one 206. why is this so creepy this is suspicious when i said hills half ice yeah this is creepy what are you seeing there not much i'm nervous to go into that one i don't want to do it that's creepy with all the towels i have a feeling we're going to run into somebody in these places so in these houses we have newspapers from 2004 the regular homes we were going inside of had uh calendars from 2010 and i just got distracted because there's a tick on me peace out sucka inside another one the floor seems suspicious this is these are creepy man these don't even look like they would be enjoyable to stay in when they're active this is super low income like this is just a sink there's no oven in here very strange bad vibes do a pull-up on that pull-up bar i'll do it oh god oh there's nothing there's no floor at all oh snap this is the fate fate of all of them here damn the worst one yet that's what a little bit of water does crazy got a bike out here it's cool in here yeah wow this is so different from the rest this seems like it's able to be rented out right now it's clean it looks like they actually did an effort to clean it got everything in bags over here got a nice little bar set up that's pretty good it's pretty chill made it into another house this one though only has corona unopened i don't know if it's good or not i don't know how old it is it's cold though we have a ps2 in here that's pretty cool gamestop brand controllers pretty cool a bunch of games and toys in here like i said earlier definitely a lot of kids lived in this neighborhood all right everybody that's gonna do it for today's video explored as much as we could there was a lot of homes here that were nailed shut so we couldn't see inside of it we um saw the one home that was practically untouched everything was left inside of it that was really cool this camaro was awesome the boat left behind was cool all the kids toys left behind and just walking through empty streets of just nothing abandoned this just feeling like you're in a completely different world i think this place was pretty damn cool if you guys think it was pretty cool too
