so let's start this exploration I'm joined here today with Chef statics he is exploring with me today here in France and we are in this courtyard in this garden of this magnificent building it's early in the morning right now we are at our first location they're still dawn on the grass it's very cold the manner that were filming here today has been in the possession of her French family since the 1800s the gate the plays over father of the son generation to generation they all kept kind of the same French architecture inside the upstairs floors are designed incredibly beautiful and they have distinctive historical taste them but something strange happened in 2012 when the last inhabitants of this place passed away and they gave over the manor to their children that children did something devastating to this place they renovated the downstairs floors and gave it this ugly modern days to it it's just such a contrast that I could not believe when I got inside of this place I'm gonna take you guys around this place and show you this strange hole let's go it's a three-story Manor in the countryside of France it has been left behind such an incredible building I I just don't understand why people don't restore these places there are two options to get into this place there's the basement over there and there's the second floor that we're gonna do later but they make it myself easy here in the morning we're gonna start off with extraordinary let's go through the basement first we're gonna tell you the story of these people a little bit more in depth and this was actually a story of two people of two generations that lived here first their parents left here and afterwards the children inherited the place and there's a big contrast between the modern life and yet older times from the parents as you can see they used this basement as storage for just normal things like a scooter in the garden would be a trampoline for the children these are it's the base for the trampoline just some oils just windows screening and everything as you can see mr. freezer here like very typical in France people like to do golf so they have some golf clubs over here it's very popular sport here in France as you can see that you just used this basement as a storage area for random things in the house but then when we walked through the room here to the left we see the conference starting to happen this was part of their parents room their parents interior design how they made the house so they had big respect for their parents that left at how some rooms that left how the parents made the rooms and some rooms they made them and them than their own so as you can see this is where how the parents designed it at this porcelain or this this plaster excuse me plaster statues all the way over here animals call a beautiful piano from Paris fireplace with two sheesh next to it just like nificent design look at the flowers up here they were really into making plastering a plaster statues as you can see I think that made them themselves just amazing down here [Music] this was just very weird and strange to me that that would leave like parts of the house like this and other parts that would made into their own but it also shows it's kind of beautiful actually shows how you can still have respect for your parents and have like maybe a little memory maybe they passed away and they were like we have to keep this alive and we have to show some respect for them here are some newspapers left behind let's see if we can find any dates on them whoa your ass one or the date on it this is from 99 that 89 I can see this is a hockey newspaper so they were also really into sports you got a magazine or friends over here not a share in the corner also a very beautiful one probably from the parents but this is the reason why he 10th why we have to climb see there is like a staircase over here but the problem is that this yeah door over here is locked and we can't go into the place like this so we do unfortunately I have to climb up there and since view is very unreasonable but I hope I will succeed and now everybody it's time for my incredible climbing skills yes you're gonna see I almost fell down [Music] with my incredible climbing skills as I should say I almost fell I managed to get inside the building and I just opened this window and then my fellow directors inside of this place but here is where the stark contrast starts and where you can really see that this building is actually separated in two different styles this place is actually abandoned since two years right now in 2008 the children left this place probably because of old age or maybe he has some other issues with them but the family inherited or built displays in 1886 and it's per has been in the family ever since all the classes and everything is still left this was some sort of that kitchen oh there's even some something drawn by a child probably dead child boola Butare Dada Dada maybe for their dad oh my gosh there's nothing inside the fridge anymore I'm gonna go through this part of the house fairly quickly because I really don't like these modern buildings and I'm for the old school buildings this was the living room couch is they'll tell you all on this newspaper the same date comes back from 1989 this might have been the date that the parents left this place why this newspapers in this living room I'm not 100% sure but I remodeled this whole downstairs floors and they're really completely renovated it there are also new windows in here upstairs the old windows are still there whoa whoa this is a special room oh my gosh there's a handwritten letter here on the fireplace as you can see she sure left behind this might have been a desk where a man or a woman of the place worked some sort of a uniform here oh my gosh is from them it's nothing a military an American slack on the wall this is this so strange to me Amazon package what few more rooms left down here another very very ugly boardroom pinkerton blue walls wide walls an ugly part up these people couldn't design a house they didn't know how to do it somebody has to give him a lesson in it it should take notice to their parents how they made the house that was beautiful what's gonna go into detail here the chef is also checking out the building yes it's very strange right how there's this stark contrast between the parents upper floor and here the downstairs floor and the basement is also so different from this place don't know why I even did it with this mine up in that bedroom yeah this was their bedroom as you can see but now yeah I think it's time to show you the beautiful part of the house okay and here it already starts in the hallway you see this newer door then next to it you see this old-school door and from this point on over here the renovation stopped and we step back in time we step back into their parents place from the 1989 and before it this is how it was always this place the hallway to Shimon ER now [Music] they have this comedy movie poster up here let's check out this room here behind first it's this always was the toilet this is a crazy toilet with the walls are cracking up I love spiderwebs in this place as well I also needed like the wallpaper here then we go into the room the main [Music] well what a mesmerizing rule this was one of the main rooms of the house swear to entertain their guests that like this incredible antique billiards table here in the middle you gotta be harmless if you got on me guys you gotta be honest this room and this upper floor just speaks for itself downstairs it's just an ugly building moment Jim when you come up here yeah it's just art and beauty and creativity I would rather don't live in the upstairs floors then the downstairs floors I think everybody even the walls I'd like this incredible wallpaper all these different pictures drawings oh my god show this man I saw before in a building I'm gonna searched and I'm gonna see if I can link it somewhere here in annotations but I saw this picture before so this is probably not the man who owned this place we got a group of men over here sitting together run a little table this might have been the family little table here in the corner it's like this old-school medicine bottle on it I just look at the picture here on a wall this might have a holder former owner of this place look at them just standing there being proud of himself in those days pictures being taken of yourself wasn't the usual thing nowadays we take one on it selfies a day but back then it was just very uncommon and when there was a picture moment just like with these little children over here it would all dress up their most beautiful coats and be their present happy ready for the picture it's like this press that you to get over the clock on top of the fireplace brass statues are worth hundreds even thousands of dollars this one is made in little doesn't France and somewhere in France because you have to make a mold and then from a mold you can only made like 10 of these best statues and then you have to make a new mold because the old mold gets yeah gets broken after a time over here there's a very strange part it's like this birdcage but it's designed like a miniature house so they probably had some birds inside of this place also it's always very nice to have some animals inside of the house and on this side of the wall look at this we have the woman yes I'm 100% sure that this where a man and a woman together who owned this place I got this incredible mirror but to don't play the design around it just have a look at it look over here what we have here next to the fireplace whoo cat this is old-school French game they know they still play it you see it always on the horses they play it with here the plane on the ground with these hoops I don't know if this is a very popular game in the rest of the world but over here in France people still play it in Belgium as well sometimes this is the wedding picture of these people as you can see and here is the men and a woman together sitting here and it's exactly the people we saw just on the pictures Wow they're zoom in a little bit oh my gosh now we have some other stuff on this side of the place an old-school radio few pictures the here the problem mostly store her Jewellery's inside there's nothing in there anymore but the old table where they could make me sit in the evening have some drinks then I really really like this couch over here in the corner this is like a psychiatric couch and yeah like you always see in the movies but here it's displayed in the corner of the room and the cues of the billiard table are also still here isn't it just amazing the billiard table over here the queues are still on the billiards table look over here in the counting numbering system points still working ok let's have a look over here in the hallway beside we got some junk and on this side we've got a baby straw incredible baby stroller [Music] ruinous revive mind would renovate a place like this it's just yeah you have to be mad for it what's this piece of equipment over here looks like some sort of a water heater you know you got like this brass copper clock around the unit then there's little one less part of the home that I have to check out that's the ethics it's opening up let's go there right now there to the left you have to slow stove a little coal stove most probably somewhere in the house but no you're on the attic there's a lot of stuff inside of you look at this mirror to the side well if you really look in the ethics you can always find these incredible things left behind it all soccer table for the children and this incredible sink beautifully designed up there they were really into sports in the basement we found like the the trophies of the people and up here we can find a lot of sports magazines billiard tables so these people were truly into sports this one is what 1963 I can see it's just insane just imagining myself living here and what these people must have tiny thought this was probably the children's bedroom and the I say the children's bedroom so children who slept in here they probably inherited the house and they they renovated the downstairs floors from 79 and they just threw all the junk on junk I shouldn't say it turned because look what incredible pieces we can find up here you have to stroll around here if this children's desk study in desk a little counting window up here that's just insane what's all left behind in here if you clean up this stuff it's probably worth thousands and thousands of dollars [Music] this was like a little Bureau well desk of books down here they have been lying here on the ground for years and years and oh my gosh so chamber pots down here see what's in here and then there is even one more stairway that leads up to the very top of the building let's see what's up there let's just check it out to be a bit careful because it looks a little bit unstable I think there were a few more bedrooms up here it probably had a lot of children yes this would have been bedrooms like a chef's left behind you decide to share some random antiques look at this some tin jars okay tink I'm done with the place okay Jeff you want to be an outro okay what is special building guys it's just the contrast between the modern and the historic side is yeah mesmerizing I've never seen this before yeah I was just stunned I think you was all right unbelievable yeah the wallpaper that's here in the room yeah so with that all being said guys I want to thank you very very much for watching this week's video please give us a like subscribe the channel hit that little
