EXPLAIN THIS SONY! PSP and PS Vita NEEDS a Successor!

hello every on the internet welcome to another video from video game homies but with one homie so with that being said um I just want to talk about something real quick and I know that a lot of you guys well actually I'm sure a lot of you will agree right and no this is going to be a comparison video between the PSP and the Vita because they're both amazing systems and I will do that one point you know but it's going to be really hard because I love them both like they're actually both really good consoles um really good Portables I mean um and I would argue that the Vita was the last true portable to like completely um like the switch is a good console don't get me wrong but at the same time it's like would you consider it a portable when it has a lot of pro or a good portable when it has a lot of issues of it being a portable right not really you know so ignoring all that though before I start please don't be uh please don't forget to like comment subscribe and do all that good stuff okay I really need it your boy need it you know I need to get to a thousand Subs to get that Moolah right and we're not even at a hundred so that's why I'm really really mad anyways let's get to the topic now um because I dragged enough what I'm going to be talking about is why is Sony pushing these useless pieces of Hardware yet they're not willing to make another true portable like they did back in the day right so what do I mean by that I mean the the PlayStation if you guys haven't heard of the PlayStation Hue I think is what it's called it is basically this useless hundred dollar basically Wii U controller for your PS5 that's what it is that's essentially what it is you know because you can't really go too far you know you you can't really go too far from your PS5 you can only use your your PS5 with it like basically no one could use your PS5 if you're using your PS5 with this device if that makes any sense like basically you're using your PS5 with the PlayStation Hue which is stupid that's not a portable then right pretty much the PlayStation Hue is not a portable it is a accessory to your PS5 and a really bad one in a really bad and useless one I'm sorry at that so what do I mean by that well the PlayStation hue does not allow you to go anywhere like I already established right so you have to stay within the perimeters of the console which is stupid you know and if you can you need really good connection if you're gonna go out there not that I would ever do that like oh yeah I'm gonna go outside just to play my portable I'd just rather play at the Comfort my home thank you with the like just anywhere in my house that's a lot more convenient than a console right but anyways and then the other issue about it is that they deem it as another Sony portable no it's not and no it's not it doesn't have its own games it's not like a a um a like what would you say like a steam deck right where you can just play your PlayStation games which would be awesome on your you know new powerful portable right on this new PS Vita 2 or something like that no you can't do that that would have actually made me um invest more into buying games on on consoles digitally truth be told to you but I have a decent PC why would I even do that right consoles are not even worth it to me anymore because of that but then you also have something like again the PlayStation Hue which is like okay uh this is so dumb the the PlayStation you again like it is so useless it is basically your phone right you go to the PlayStation app on your phone and you just get like a controller accessory for your phone you know you could get like the T-bone or whatever that thing was called um you got a PlayStation version of that for 80 or less it could be on sale right or hell you could probably get on mercari or any like online thing for probably 40 bucks or or um probably a little bit more expensive than that but yeah 40 to 60 bucks why on Earth would you get this PlayStation Hue crap so the price is not worth it 100 bucks not worth it and I love the Wii U honestly I think it's honestly my favorite console not gonna lie to you it is so convenient to play actual console games like it is one of the few um uh things that let you play your console games well whatever games that the way you have it may have um more conveniently right and that Gamepad oh my God one of the best controllers I've ever tried but the PlayStation Hue even looks like crap you know it doesn't even look like it's a device made made around like being for the PS5 if that makes any sense it just looks like they slapped PS5 um handles or a PS5 controller and you know cut off the side handles and put it on a tablet that's what it looks like it looks so bad and it's just so useless it's expensive for no reason and honestly like it's not even worth it because again no one else could use your PS5 while you're using it so it's not even a portable in that aspect it's so bad it is such a bad useless device so they would rather release a useless piece of crap like that and I'm not getting into the fact that they didn't really say handheld for a true handheld for over what uh 11 years 12 years right but I'm also getting to the point where I'm also going to talk about the psvr2 right whatever argument that people may have about oh well Sony doesn't have a place in the portable Market anymore it would be completely Niche yet they released the psvr too can someone please let me know if that makes any sense right how are you going to say that they don't have a place in the portable Market which yes they do you know you're you're telling me that no one would like a more powerful portable that allows you to truly play PS5 or PS4 games on the go that's more powerful than the switch and has the same features if not more so than it you're saying that there's no market for that okay buddy sure um like I would get it just out of curiosity alone you know not to mention that the people with ps5s are a lot or the PlayStation consoles in general like the PS4 and PS5 are a lot and you're telling me that no one would get a PlayStation Portable okay dude sure that would more properly connect to your console yeah all right buddy keep dreaming on that um and then like like not to mention that portable is like the Vita were a lot more different than Portables today like the switch and steam deck where those consoles they may have bad battery life but no one cares about that anymore you know they're a lot more portable they're they're not portable I'm sorry they're a lot more bigger they're a lot more powerful and they're able to play Modern games flawlessly almost flawlessly compared to previous Portables where you had to sacrifice a lot I mean the only thing you mostly have to sacrifice with Portables I like playing with buttons the most of the thing most of the things you gotta sacrifice with Portables back in the day or or now I'm sorry are just frame rates and Graphics that's it back in the day you literally had to make a completely a completely different version of that game right like look at Call of Duty on the DS compared to Call of Duty on the 360 and PS3 night and day you know any game any Call of Duty game you could just just uh name you know even on the Wii it was different as well but holy hell on the DS yikes it was like a completely different thing not bad it was just different completely different and yet they're not making it on the switch interesting anyways um so how does that make any sense for people to say that you uh that they don't have a place in the portable market yet you're like oh I think the psvr is pretty good the VR2 even though that the first one sold like dog ass yeah let's make a second one based off of a thing that's very Niche to begin with let's I already said all this in my um in my PS Vita VR2 will fail video and look at that it failed wow what do you know oh God what do you know it failed gee it's almost like selling a accessory that's more expensive than the PS5 when the PS5 doesn't really have that many people right and you need the PS5 for set accessory that's more expensive than the PS5 it's almost like that doesn't appeal to a lot of people huh weird and I have a PS5 I have no desire at all I don't care how low the VR2 ever gets to I don't I have no desire of buying that piece of crap but a new portable hey you got me there you would have got me there but anyways what I'm trying to say is that like how can people say that they don't have a market in the portable uh consoles anymore when really you're okay with the VR too when that thing failed the first one even failed miserably with how many PS4s were sold yeah no they failed miserably um and then the VR2 which is the overall bad idea regardless right regardless it's just a bad idea um but a new Sony portable and in today's market if you do it right would actually be amazing it would be amazing and I bet people will buy it you know I bet people will buy it like Not only would it be able to stream PS5 or four games right but I think they should make a portable where they would be able to just straight up play your your digital um your digital games physical would be a challenge that's the problem there right maybe they can make a accessory that connects to the portable that you could just like play the thing portably but you just put your disc in there you know for the poor and Fortunate Souls like me who mostly just bought games on uh like physical mostly because of the price but it's also because like uh it's a console why would I buy it digitally when you know it's a lot more expensive and it just not it's not beneficial to me right yeah it's not beneficial to me um but had they have a portable like the switch or something that allowed you to play your digital PlayStation Library and possibly has its own games I don't know I don't know about that but that would make it sell better actually if it just if it had exclusives that would be a good idea um that would be that would sell like hot cakes what are people talking about you know it could like I said just be a PlayStation steam deck if that makes any sense right where you're just able to play your your PlayStation Library games on on a portable like that and yep but that's that's bad though people that's that's a really dumb idea but the VR2 looked really great yeah really stupid people I don't understand any of this honestly you know and Sony would rather release these really Niche really useless pieces of Hardware that will fail miserably but they will not release another portable Sony please make that make sense and this is the video guys uh please like comment subscribe to a lot of good stuff and
