a small two small beers yeah and as we could see in the picture in just a minute the arches are standing in the shade and the animals are in bright sunlight which makes it a little bit difficult guessing the distances that's true that's true [Music] and as we were talking about last night yesterday that beyonce schumberger is somewhat of a phenomenon because she's only shot longbow for a year yeah she's already had one gold medal yeah which is amazing for her yeah yeah that's that's completely fantastic so the next animal is a sitting rabbit hair difficult hair yes it's very skinny it's a it's a very narrow target to hit even though it seems like they're going quite quite uh close distance but it's it's a very narrow tall but narrow so they're approaching the blue pack using a binoculars both i'm trying to gauge the distance here yeah and both of them are shooting what seems to be d-shaped long bows nothing d flex reflex there and it was uh five for the estonian woman she hit the stone foundation on the target that is probably the most annoying thing to do that you hit the target but the error doesn't count because you can hear the sound of hitting the target but yeah you don't know if you've hit stone hoof horn and unfortunately they count as misses yeah that's true okay so it's confirmed that it was a miss for austria and a five for estonia so the score is 15-80 58 before the last time it can be done but it will be difficult and the last target is standing in full sun but look at how the shades from the horns yeah difficult doing a trick on them yes i actually i didn't see that yesterday with any of the animals that they could shave like they can make shade by themselves it's uh it's a very tricky shot but very well done by by the judges putting the animal like that yes for the finals especially as well yeah and i have my eye on him i'm quite sure he's irish oh yeah good strong anger all right it's a five-four stream [Music] for estonia as field of play in just a minute um a very experienced lady in canada who's uh competing against an estonian archer this will be exciting and connor somewhat of a superstar yes [Music] i think we talked about yesterday that she actually went to spain's got talent as well yes yes interesting shooting balloons uh over the heads of the audience [Applause] the judge tell him to move up to the peg yeah showing him the picture of the animal first yeah and it's it's the lying it's the lying deer it's quite a large animal but it's a fair distance and again very tricky one to start on yes it is because of the slope right looking very confident and kana gauging the distance and that is a miss i think i think so yeah wow wow very strong starts with an 11. my god that's good shooting [Applause] big okay so the judges confirmed that it was an 11 clear shot from akana but a miss from again i walk into their second target not an easy target from italy even with binoculars i can't see the score zone from his it must be very difficult that was a five for illique strong shot from that garment [Applause] very very solid [Music] these are some of the world's best arches especially in the longbow division where europe is leading yeah [Applause] [Music] and now we can hear the spanish quest shouting [Music] oh there's a there's a very short russian flag over there as well but uh silence from the audience as they walk up to the peg yeah it's the narrow rabbits they're going to shoot just look at how and kana prepares herself footing right before she shoots deep breaths to sort of calm cheer for incarna [Applause] [Music] and the spanish crowd is singing the national anthem loud very very very proud of their archer and of course that is also very good shooting so next up we have the longbow men bronze medal match that's true yeah we have the bronze medal match which is between an archer from italy and leonato from russia we have alfredo dandy from italy yeah i thought actually he was uh australian okay done the crocodile dundee but this is spelled just a little bit different yeah slightly different yeah and shooting against michael potter yes the russian archer i think is the reigning world champion actually okay how do you you want to get him walking out to the first target yeah actually the russian one against one of my danish team members [Applause] both of the arches are very very experienced alfredo dondi has been part of uh part of the archery world for many years and you can always see he's there because he ha he's always wearing bandanas yeah yeah yeah stands out yeah they're approaching the first target huh but the violin has been very very solid all the way through to the finals i'm not surprised that it's these two arches standing there because they've been very very good all the way through so the first target lying deer concentration on their faces [Music] that is not a perfect start you could actually just see that he was he was dropping his ankle just a little bit before before maybe nerves probably got to him yes [Music] it's confirmed russia is now taking the lead for the bronze medal match yeah but again 3d archery it can change quite quickly an 8 of course it sounds like a lot but a miss and a good arrow yeah it's all changed and dundee does not look worried at all not yet anyway he's keeping his concentration so dandy using his binoculars yeah put them all in as well just gauging see if they can well calculate or see the distance on their in their own way my god he must be trained in that russian just look at how broad his shoulders are i'm memory i'm i'm envious and it was a five and a good strong eight from alfredo dandy making up for the last target yes [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we're just waiting [Music] was too strong for johannes johnson from denmark and too strong for juan michael sanchez martinez unfortunately for him kristaps nova from dalton was too strong for him in the semi-finals so time is starting 50 seconds and polo violin is very quick very quick with this error and it's [Music] those hairs are very tricky yes you could well he was he he had a bit of a difficulty with it with the grip on his bow he was yeah i don't know if it's nerves or whatever but it's unlike unlike a guy like him to to have two misses in uh inner bronze fighters hopefully he can make it up on the next one well yes that's we'll have to see but he will have to well the russian will have to have a mess and dundee will have to have good shots he still looks good so so approaching their ass target now yep the ibex is almost almost hidden uh by its own shadow there you can't see the score zone at all so it's an 11 from dundee and a five from the russian so [Applause] gandhi ended with a good arrow but it wasn't enough for the violin will walk away with the bronze medal [Music] good good sportsmanship so we're approaching the gold medals in the long run division yeah we have a very very interesting match between franz haag from austria and from latvia kristaps nobots funds hog with his very distinctive way of shooting he's well yesterday it was very very difficult to to see when he was shooting because he was such so quick but we were talking with him very quick because of the poundage of his bow yes 70 pounds 72 pounds 72 pounds on the fingers because he's he's drawing 29 and a half inches so i actually tried to to draw his bow today i'm i'm just a just a normal danish barber and she said wow wow my arm was nearly falling off at the shoulders both arches looking calm ready to go christops has been shooting very very well he's been so solid and franz hogg of course well he also won a gold medal in the next team event with the artist schoenberger and yesterday as well with the men's team yes so he can he can have a full house today three gold medals in three days that's a very big achievement yeah it is it is it is ladies so now we're approaching the gold medal match now the arches are approaching the first target there's the lying here cheering the crowd with his [Applause] hat if they had a robin hood in australia it would be fun and from latvia we have kids stops lead five points lead for french france was first in the qualification and uh good sportsmanship they're they're fisting each other before going out there it's really good sportsmanship but that's what you see in archery isn't it oh in the yeah round and that means he also came in the semi-finals in this tournament and he was too strong for the winner of the bronze medal mikhail [Music] they're now approaching the hairs [Music] yeah we've seen that the hair is actually bobby is the most difficult target because of uh wow not too hard for the these two archers very good shooting so 11 for front hog and eight for christops [Applause] so franchise well it seems like a very solid lead before the last target the ibex so it's confirmed the total up until now is 29 for franz hagen 21 for kristaps norwood [Music] and that means that this also at least have to show 11 points seeing the way our phones were feeling this week and also effect in the next things how people shooting so [Music] division front gauge in the distance sir just taking his time he knows that he has 37 seconds left and he shoots at 10. the last arrow is a 10. french hog is the gold winner of the longbow division and three three times gold winner this week that is an achievement that's absolutely amazing just look at him cheering the crowd okay so we'll go we'll we'll go for the interview right now days that is an achievement that is unbelievable how are you feeling i feel you good really and you're still feeling no well you know we were talking about your bow you shoot 72 pounds it's it's an amazing achievement just to be able to draw it but you just hit the targets so good how much are you training every week four days four days and five days 100 shoots per per day 1000 in months that you come to the metal ceremony so we're approaching the metal ceremony in the longer division of course we have the bronze medal winner from russia the silver medalists from latvia clearly stops no words and well a personal favorite of mine he's a lovely man franz heart from austria taking the gold medal in the longbow men competition and three times gold winner this week because he also won with the artist yesterday with aloise and nicole and the men in the men's competition and in the european 3d championship very well yes yes and we have the bronze medal winner mikhail from russia between italy and hungary on the italian side is sabrina vanini and shooting for hungary hungary island [Music] i see the actors making their way to the first target yep sabrina cheering the audience [Music] [Applause] from hungary [Music] [Applause] yes and the arches are approaching the first the picture of the first target lying deer a big rodeo so the time is started both arches using the binoculars engaging the target sabrina's shooting some very very pink fletchings on their arrows yeah they stand out forever yes they do it looks like a mess it looks like a miss she hit the hoof of the target it's this very tricky start my god both arches very nervous it seems sabrina the only one to hit the target but not getting a point it's confirmed that mess for italy and miss for hungary zero zero so approaching target number two the bears move so it's an eight for sabrina vanini it's a high five for pyroscope seems like the hungarian arch is a bit more nervous than the italians she had a very sketchy release there of the bowstring only narrowly hitting the target judges confirmed it's an 8 for sabrina and a 5 4 caress yeah so it's still an open match so approaching target number three the hairs in full sunlight now sabrina cage in the distance there are binoculars sabrina is shooting winning windex levers sorry and sabrina had to hit a five that was a better arrow hungarian and eight line yeah so the lead is narrowed just a little bit it's only three points now at three points three points lead on on the last arrow is nothing [Music] so 1300 [Music] so we'll see the last animal maybe it's always exciting yes yeah one arrow yeah you never know no no no but it seems like the cause today is a bit more difficult than we saw yesterday because we've seen a few more misses today than yesterday yeah but of course this is the finals so yeah so concentration before the last target and it's sun eight line maybe from sabrina manini oh my god it's an eight as well from pieroska now the judges really have to do their job with sabrina benini's arrow there because as far as i could see it could be a line eight we'll have to have the judges to confirm it so we will have a shoot off manini yes now we're talking archery [Applause] [Music] and the the target we're using for shoot-off is another ibex however the archers are standing it seems like standing out oh we'll see where the judge is putting the peg it's tricky and of course he's choosing it seems like he's shooting this [Music] [Music] so ah very good so we have audio again so the last target is an ibex but now both arches are standing in full sunlight um the archers had a bit of trouble yesterday with the sun coming into their eyes he did yeah the worst thing was uh left-handed arches they would have the sun right in their eyes but it seems like it's uh it's going all right here that's that's an eight for sabrina benini and it's a five for puraska so sabrina menini will walk away with the bronze medal after the shootout shootouts [Applause] congratulations to sabrina manini and italy that was a very close call there it was and she's very happy for that bronze medal so the judges confirmed what we saw it's italy 8 hungary 5. so we're approaching the gold medal match in the women's instinctive category and it's between the italian archer michaela donati and again karen novi from austria yes i was warming up the other day standing just beside karen novi she's a very solid shooter very experienced archer and michaela michaela novi the nazi of course very experienced as well yep [Music] austria [Applause] so they're approaching the picture of the rodeo target very difficult very difficult we've seen that even on fairly close distances today that they have been very difficult and the time has started the arch is gauging with their binoculars and you can get a very good impression of how steep a slope it is when you look at the arches and the animals just well yes it's a steep slope and of course it's slightly hard for them yeah because your arrows end up going yes more to the right so we have we have maybe a five for carrying low and the killer the party is charlie but we have to confirm it because it's cardinal's arrow was very close to the hoof very and that is someone uh well it could be a mess if it hits a hoof yes so the the judges have to confirm whether it's uh hit a hoof or not okay so it's confirmed that karen novi did not hit the hoof of the roadie so she has a five as well that was that was lucky for karen nova because it was very very close to the hoof approaching the second target both engage in the distance yes yeah that's an eight for italy from times [Music] [Music] [Music] as well that that you can hit and if you do that of course it's a mess shooting eights very close to a 10 that one so here [Music] three points [Music] championships so the last target the irex now only son on a third of the back of the ibex the rest is in the [Music] very well [Applause] i wish i could do what they were doing too long so we're approaching the the instinctive maintenance division we have shooting for the bronze medal from sweden ryan peterson and from italy fabio pitaloga interesting i mean you know brian peterson actually danish but he's been living in sweden for 20 years so he's shooting for the swedish national team and of course he was a co-host for the first live transmission from from maribor on wednesday as well yeah very excited cheering the crowd he has his fellow danish compatriot also shooting for sweden handling parker in the background [Music] so the first target the road here tricky tricky and the judge showing them the picture of the animal beforehand to work out where the center is yep well you would think that brian peterson would know where the center is i actually think he's a game keeper in his uh professional life yeah both them trying to gauge the distance yep and brian peterson is shooting the new men's riser of course from slovenia yeah interesting very nice races two fives so both archers misjudged everyone has the issue the distance it's very difficult to judge distance if you stand in the light shooting into the darkness you have a tendency to to shoot and low doesn't help having the animal lying on the ground no no the judges have done a very good job of placing the animals in difficult situations [Applause] [Music] it seems fabio actually hit the hoof but brian peterson hit the leg so it's five for sweden and nil or miss from italy it's not a good start but no they have a chance so they have a challenge yes they have a chance of doing much better so we'll see i've been wondering these uh pond ponds on the bowstring what are they for of course there's string dampeners yeah [Music] so we're just waiting for the judges to confirm right it seems like brian peterson is ahead with 13 points against fabian and he was too strong in the semifinals though he was not strong enough [Music] [Applause] from italy the blue pack is out in the sun now so they have maybe a bit difficult with the sun depends on where they're standing because they can stand one meter to the side of one meter behind the blue pig as far as i remember yes oh yeah and if they have trouble with the sun the coach or the helper can also have a piece of paper to uh to help the archer have a shade in in this in his face so far bobby issues an 11 for brian peterson as well very very strong shooting my goodness that is this real sign of a good good moral when it comes to first your opponent shooting at 11 then you just do the same things very good shooting from ryan peterson but of course also from fabio who shot an eleven fantastic especially because those hairs aren't always easy no we just need the judges to confirm the points [Music] so brian peterson is leading with five points before the last target the ibex they're walking out of the blue peg now yes both arches using the binoculars it's still within reach for peter lugar but brian peterson has been shooting so solid so it will be difficult brian peterson very quickly up to anchor long haul and an 11 for me so sweden is walking away with the bronze medal and you can see that brian peterson has a sigh of relief he's walking away with the bronze very good very well done and he's dropping his while he's throwing his hat on the ground celebrating [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] the swedish supporters there [Applause] so sweetness done very well as because they have actually also an option shooting for just two archers shooting for gold because they have a gold uh they have a gold medal chance with the compounds but of course an exciting gold medal match between the very very young newcomer from sweden in the bayabo division leo patterson just turned 18 a few weeks ago yes and his first 3d competition yes the first 3d competition outside of sweden it's well he's been doing so well and he's uh he's cold he's really really cold he does not does not seem like he has nerves yeah but first we will have the gold medal match in the instinctive class for the men between the norwegian archer tell ya and the italian archer fedele zoria this will be interesting to tell you baca has been choosing very very very well but of course the italians are always good at these events we have a strong supporter group from norway standing in the in the audience and well knowing the scandinavians the swedes and the danes probably will be cheering for the norwegian as well yep ladies and gentlemen [Music] yes [Music] [Music] is [Music] so they're approaching the first target the judge pointing out the picture there yep [Music] so we're ready for the first target it's it's it's a fair bit of distance as well isn't it tell you it's engaging the target gauging again just to make sure well this target's been very tricky for the last few matches so let's hope they can do well on this one bracket [Music] and if you're wondering why some of the arches are having band-aids on their noses it's because well some of them have a tendency to hit their own noses with the throw string and i can say honestly it's not a very pleasant thing to do so it's confirmed eight for saudi fidelis and five foreign and of course tanya bucky in his uh qualifying rounds actually beat the danish reigning european champion in 3d archery frank christensen narrowly but he's been shooting very well but i'm coming to fold rather now and it's a good shot for the tendency for the italian very close [Music] from denmark standing in the crowd cheering terry [Music] it's a completely open match especially now approaching the hairs yeah this be interesting though ah tricky jacket but with the height of terrier bucket he must have a very small gap because he's so he's so tall he can he can get a very small gap if he's uh having his uh his knock very high upon his uh his eye he can be a bit of an advantage look at that the isis arrow not [Applause] we have to have the confirmation from the judge it's uh from our point of view it seems like it's a mess because the italian hits the stone foundation in the target and turn your back a shot on eight just under just on the line if that can be confirmed it will change things completely 16.
