[Applause] hi this is bill gaither inviting you to enjoy this very special musical event featuring the classic quartet harmonies and non-stop energy of gospel music's most electrifying group ernie haas and signature sounds [Music] film before a wonderful live audience this celebration features a great lineup of uplifting gospel songs as only signature sound can deliver them [Applause] [Music] oh that that makes us feel so good we've been we've been working so hard this past year to uh create another video and another cd for you we've been in the studio singing to two people this last year a producer and an engineer and all they ever give us is sing it again never good enough for them sing it again sometimes 12 14 hours a day sing it again it's great to have a room full of people who like it the first time are you glad to see roy webb how tonight ryan seaton how about dodd anderson timmy duncan how about ernie haas guys what a wonderful crowd you are what you're sweating like a coke bottle at a barbecue pouring off of you we're working roy i know we're working but i hate to say this publicly somebody's deodorant it's not well it's not me how so i'm not wearing any we were we were traveling the other day and going uh going to a couple dates and we were in between dates we had a day off and and bill called and said would you come by the house and spend a day at the house and he's got a great great place there's such a wonderful atmosphere and we went and spent the day we played some basketball of course that's no secret we love basketball we love bill's court because his gold you can lower it down to eight foot and dunk on it what else did we do that day we went yeah he got some tennis courts now we've never played tennis and it showed because it was pretty it was it was awful it was awful but we played some tennis and then jumped in the pool had a good time there and then miss gloria fixed us some fresh squeezed lemonade she treated us like royalty but at the end of the day we came inside migrated to the piano and bill sat down and said boys i want to play a song this is the fourth song that i wrote and we sang it we learned it and we've been practicing on it we wanted to put it on this project and surprise bill he told us that day this is a bg song and i said bill gaither right he said no before gloria okay i got i got to do this um this wasn't on the program but when i was coming off the bus a little guy a little boy about five years old stopped me he said mr hoss will you sing them bones and and then we used to do a song all the time called these you in the valley of dry bones it's been a while let's let's hum our parts acapella make sure we got everything just right acapella that's a that's an old italian word that means we don't need you that's great okay you can give us the key that'd be nice i don't remember what key we did this it don't matter we're good we'll find it just give us any key okay here we go there you go skippy pick one of those you're good we're not that good put it in the key of put in the key of b q b actually i think we did it in b flat but i'll give you a b because i'm sure you guys will flat it yourselves so we can go ahead okay just a nice nice home okay ready [Laughter] [Music] did i hear that did i hear right thank you thank you what was that oh that that was my vocal debut debuts an old french word that means i don't need you either so that's good kevin that was very good kevin okay all right breath [Laughter] is your left arm numb no no that's bad [Applause] he's ryan's cracking me up he's just smiling all the time let me let me explain for what's going on up here ryan about what five months ago he and his wife krista gave birth to their very first child a little sweet little baby girl olivia hold her up so he's he's a happy daddy and he's proud but that's not the only reason he smiles a lot these days is because when he travels with us on the bus he gets eight hours of uninterrupted sleep we hired ryan three years ago and ryan was just he's just he's a he's a meek but he's kind of gullible you know he's just he's he's he's what is he he's the victim he's a victim but he comes by naturally i mean when i hired him i said ryan fill out this piece of paper for the office i need some information one of the questions was who would we contact in case of an emergency ryan put 911 when i hired him he was so nervous i said ryan don't worry about nothing don't worry about anything just learn the harmony part we'll fill in the blanks that was three years ago you've become a you've become a husband you've become a daddy it's time for you to step up i need you to step up so get your mic stand and step up right here ryan i need you to step up all right and and i know you think i'm being hard on him because this is a ministry and all but he gets paid weekly weakly by the way that's between you and the lord whatever ryan ryan listen listen up okay i need you to step up i've been waiting for the best crowd to feature on you did great in the studio but live is where it counts okay if you've ever gonna win tonight's the night you got a great crowd let me just
