Hi, in this tutorial i show you how to equip weapon in sequencer from idle state to equip state i will start from empty world press ctrl + E add socket to his right hand let find him a sword static mesh cannot be attached to character we need to create a sword blueprint compile and save now this BP_Sword is able to be attached to this character reset all transformation to 0 before we change the sword to the right position let select animations yep, it’s time to change the sword’s rotation switch to Local axis turn off snapping tweaking let find the frame to make magic happen i think this frame is ok let duplicate this BP_sword copy and paste bring both sword into sequencer add actor hidden in game track ctrl + Left arrow to move left 1 frame do vice versa to the other sword now we’ve done the switch part let set the sword attach to Pelvis bone let see what we got first sword follow the idle state then it’s now follow the equip state ya that’s the trick, if you know another option to do this, tell me see ya, thank for watching
