ENORMOUS Deodar Cedar Removal!!!

[Music] all right everybody we've got a big big fat trunker today got this huge huge diadora we're out in seattle right by the arboreum a lot of really old trees it looks like there's a an atlas cedar or a deodorant i get them kind of mixed up and then here is this bad boy is 61 inches so there's a our permit uh regulations are pretty tight here in seattle so this you know had to have a tree risk assessment done on it it's had a lot of leaders and just a lot of branches breaking and falling all over the place here so it was deemed a high-risk tree so we're gonna be removing it yeah 61 inches and uh probably a kind of old tree we're gonna come back with the crane tomorrow we're just working on some of the branches right now with the bucket so scott's going up we'll put the crane here tomorrow they put they're redoing this landscaping so we can just park right in the yard but yeah big big cool big fat tree this should be a pretty fun one so right so it'll probably take a few days so should should be good we'll just be whittling away a little bit to the time for a while yeah it should be fun hmm [Music] wow oh i'm gonna relocate the gnome getting too dangerous for them safe right here little buddy i have a friend that's like super afraid of no afraid of gnomes so i want to get a bunch of gnomes and scat them around her house i would love to do that yeah just like 50 nopes all hiding in the bushes are kind of weird hey jake you probably need to pull up a uh ship drop too eventually [Music] oh what happened get that thing up all right disengage it disengage the clutch now shut it down who put that piece in i wanna know who to blame [Music] nice that's like the perfect size huh you get all caught you get you can't throw them in sideways what happened was i put it was sitting in like this sideways i had it in like this and i grabbed an air piece and tried to push it in with it i wish i could hear you and it just it it went in sideways all right let's get that thing fired up again wow how's it going so do you spend the day today exposing the main main branches and tomorrow you take out the big ones yeah i think that's what we're going to do today our crane operator he's not in today so tomorrow we'll bring in the crane and do that yep [Applause] hey i'm gonna backside eggs woohoo oh hey give me that gnome i'm gonna stick him in the tree and take photos in at different points in the tree all right so this is a good photo you're taking pictures of the gnome in the tree yeah seems legit oh yeah dude you said you're sending those to your friend that is scared of gnomes i was thinking about giving them to them too share it with the world man [Music] um god i was telling jake his ankles are looking pretty weak right now how can you tell he was like picked up a big piece and he's like look kind of bow-legged like they weren't gonna hold the legs weren't gonna hold up under the pressure all right here we go all right i'm gonna drop a big chunk here [Music] dude this thing is just massive so [Music] now so all right that's jaren so chip truck is full luckily a neighbor wants some of these chips which is great so we're gonna go dump these chips eat lunch real quick and then get back at it we're making pretty good progress i don't remember if i said or not the reason that brian the reason the crane isn't here is because brian isn't here brian's not here because he's sick today so that's why we just started it and this is going fine it's fine with the bucket because it's up close so it's no big deal the crane will be really helpful with the really big wood you know but if it was like a really messed up drag or the tree was really far away you know it'd be a bigger loss not having the cream but this isn't really a loss we're just dropping it right next to the chipper no drag zone not much stuff underneath in the drop zone so a big tree but pretty easy with the right equipment so anyways we're gonna dump these chips and keep going yeah you're dumping right there i'll show you you follow me yeah you drive and i'll walk right here doing all my work [Music] jake's getting buried [Music] [Music] man they're never going to get out of their driveway [Music] he's got a big show he wasn't taking no for an answer he's like i don't care if you bury my whole house in wood chips i'm taking these chips i got a shovel he's gonna come out like oh my god yeah he's gonna he was at it he said i want those chips i literally knocked on the door i was like you sure you want these chips i think they're going to go in the driveway and instead he'll shovel them so anyways yeah that's a lot probably not gonna want do you think they want another load keep them coming what is that a waffle maker got the waffle man dude what is that delivery maybe he's trying to pull into that mansion maybe he's got an order for a waffle maker you just gotta worry about a lot of waffles golden malted you know you made it when the waffle joke was to deliver your [Applause] breakfast all right well we just did lunch now i'm taking a turn i'm going up scots down on the ground it's gonna be a lot of fun man look at that view all right [Music] [Music] man you like never get a drop zone this big on a tree this large man i love this song [Music] wow let's move if you can just get swoop over there and then back in right here that'd be ideal you want something out here yeah yeah yeah turn right here keep coming okay good yep [Music] okay good i think that's fine it's all that good yep that's definitely one downside to the electric saw you guys can't hear it [Music] [Music] my [Music] so we're in seattle right now you see bellevue across the water it's a 520 floating bridge that's lake washington super nice day today super cool house too [Music] hey i'll take a new battery this thick suit seems to last about as long as to take a gas battery look at that's one of those big tears look at that harley that must have been a huge leader that broke out all right well we're getting there trees still really big [Music] oh crane just showed up all right you're clear all right we're gonna try to get the crane set up before we end the day and there's a lot of brush on this tree still but we've gotten quite a bit off all right all right yeah i'll just head down and uh help us up this crane up and then call it the day [Music] [Music] so that's a good one man make christmas ornaments out of these knock the barrel off i actually got one already oh really yeah oh cool all right well that's about it for today we got quite a bit brushed out there's still quite a bit left crane is set up we're gonna leave the crane are we leaving the bucket truck here okay so we're just leaving the crane here and then we'll be back in the morning to keep picking away at it the bucket's not going to get all the way to the top so it might put a climber in the top we'll probably put the climber in the top and then a guy in the bucket cut the pieces down low that's probably our most efficient way yeah it should be pretty fun what a what a cool what an awesome treat so good job today guys good job kevin thanks good job coming
