Wellman's but a few anecdotes about his enforcer days and then his jail journey and now we're doing his prison journey so while man just served over a year in the maricopa county jail system in phoenix arizona run by sheriff joe arpaio he's been sentenced to almost eight years in prison for being part of the conspiracy importing ecstasy conspiracy that oh I was coordinating and the prosecutor said weilman was an enforcer I never got caught of any drugs because any drugs that were put in front of him he would automatically consume every single one of them so so okay so I'm going with the big boys now I've been sentenced the day got sentenced people say how did you feel well all of the grace is there like no Lorraine but it wasn't that bad either hiss oh hey y'all get on with it that's the attitude you got enough you sit there and mope about it but you don't want to get [ __ ] all out of it they did have me on lots of site drugs he thought was bipolar [ __ ] so they already had me I'm cynical and [ __ ] that tramadol and a few others and it's like so put me on a boss go into the big house with the Carlat first of all you don't go straight through there you do different drops the first drop we did was a book i level four and as we were on the boss you looking at people and no you watch these old American movies and stills of the game at docking in the light and I've had a long day traveled in Surrey fairly I saw a [ __ ] end up you get allocated see your bed I'm a fault well this is a bit different because when I was in sourish oh you should - well two or three men [ __ ] yourselves well response was to people in there those three Sean's house for and I walk in this place and it's dorms there's like 16 beds on one side 16 beds on the other and still formation same formation as Hector group tower in the corner third thing you got ABC then they got de F so I'll go goes the light down on me bed are they now [ __ ] naked and they even on apotheca when it's a [ __ ] challenge gonna [ __ ] kick and then what happens oh yeah the [ __ ] the head of they're not the heads of the whites and not a be the guy who's running the part for the brothers come and ask me name and [ __ ] so lean in aspirin recharges officer here we go so actually what the folks go through you basically words were [ __ ] exchanged I just walked him and could be [ __ ] ass with it only I thought I'm gonna stars I mean it's a [ __ ] go on air right having some conscience come up with something me [ __ ] bed and start [ __ ] asked me [ __ ] ten different questions about myself so a wacky well the white guys are looking at me and then there was a guy in there what knew me from the last play spoon and they each like ah folks say he says all I can do about it we go again you know what I am going up in the [ __ ] hole here this might as well just [ __ ] go for the biggest guy now and get [ __ ] put in the [ __ ] hole for a while but kept Ragab short stood back up whoop respectful even though thinking I he comes and like did you said what the [ __ ] are you thinking like I said well it's the first time I've been in prison I said when I was in towers no one can't surrealist repair for work or an old corpse will ask me for this or that so I just thought the guy who's been in Aussie come to be honest with you know I remove the red no it doesn't work like that they said look you're asked to apologize through and that you might want to do something about it so if you wants to go the show with that something I don't think he probably wants to but I'm just telling you now if you colleges the showers you gotta go under your business for that well for girl they went down the first time easy know if I'm got so you're just worried about you can't get too cocky just send the couple in on the old stick you know a lot so I hear a bit of humble pie they apologized and for a couple of days okay done apologizing and towards the end they saw God's wrath doesn't after a few month we got snow on over we were talking huzzah right and that word out that he was actually leaving and while he was leaving the other guys wanted me so just look after the weight and the young the youngsters basically of what that entails is he's getting more saluted on the REC yard make sure some of them staying so they look after they're all people make sure you wash make sure they're respectful silver races make sure the youngsters aren't getting off the heads on [ __ ] hooch and cause your [ __ ] race riots and [ __ ] and just generally being like I can mend so in a way you don't arrange just shoulder my [ __ ] right from wrong what was why the a stable anyway there you go so I'm doing this for a while and then what happens oh yeah I thought of course think of a way to make some [ __ ] coin oh yes somehow so I started sewing and sounds [ __ ] girly but I was making girl awesome I'll start walking cases and then start getting stuff from the kitchen started making hooch and one of the state when I first got there they said don't get the youngsters drunkard just loop it and it just cause havoc they want one of them when in one ear and out the other so I had these all youngsters basically go in and get the oranges from the kitchen you follow me and I had the guy who had the yeast and the sugar they bring it all and at that the [ __ ] he did a first couple of recipes of who chili was shape but I got I got the recipe down in the end and like [ __ ] he started making huge I was [ __ ] really good [ __ ] so would it be the desert it didn't take that much to sort for men really it was always [ __ ] hot [ __ ] in there for me having to do that though I had to give like it was basically 25 percent of my hooch to the the woods that's just like a contribution that's just to say like you know I haven't got money but I can help out this work and they'll sell it to pound 50 a bottle generally it's Yuna was about through 50 back then or a summer sausage your free [ __ ] suits so we're doing this for a while and not making that much so the point where we're getting [ __ ] planted until I saw a couple the youngsters ask to do it so before you know it I've got just a [ __ ] pot full of [ __ ] if you do wanna make hooch so you've got a babysitter's huge so you got it on the [ __ ] bed you got it in you got you laundry laundry container and you got a little alike as a laundry pack which is like in that bag and you got you been back you put all you know oranges and you are certain your yeast with a cop medium hot water not really hot have to swim hot Wars have killer yeast put your sugar in mix it all well and then you get like a pen you take the pen out the pen so it's just like it's a tube you pull that in the top of your back and you just tie it off with a piece of cotton like that and basically that's a breather well that does is once it starts cooking it'll bubble up and once it bubbles up it causes whatever some chemical reaction and you get gas and it just comes off and up if you don't put that there it's gonna explode you leave it like that for three days until you decide says you put it in bottles and so put it in balls dead easy just take it to the showers your net back that you had you just literally because you've mixed all your stuff up you just pick the net back off when it's got all of them just flushing all that crap in it you wring it like that so you got almost the huge juice in you bin back and your net backs just full of [ __ ] and the youngsters are just put a little bit in each soil at the time and just flush it to get rid of it there's no other way to get rid of it or if it was that strong but it eats it and they've got a little balls off that so but they recommend that because it's just focused on work that's got yeast and everything else in it so then you've got it in balls you've got them in these little solder balls and then you've got a really babysit because you haven't got no holes in the solder balls so you're gonna watch every hour on the hour you got a bird you're just gonna like that fit a little bit you don't feel them follow out your film free cause way up and you burn pits you get some of the gas out you do this three [ __ ] days and you'd by this time you want them to [ __ ] drink and you know it's done when you go to burp it and nothing more perps out nothing it doesn't sort of like expanding you know I mean so then you just get well heed the absolutely [ __ ] rotten drunk which the United State wasn't a good idea where me and Adam first once the gates trouble once again hats goes to the [ __ ] at the the wreck whose other than what trouble did you get in I'll mean as we're getting [ __ ] drunk or just [ __ ] around we were basically just wrestling [ __ ] horse played game one often in headlocks and he'd be just like talking an extra Lac vice versa would show up on another note we started drinking this hooch and one of the that you can all said come at a countdown let's count down you know to me it's like to get a bit wild all the a is [ __ ] you [ __ ] oh yes I could say oh [ __ ] yourself you spit I'll suffer like that oh not speak [ __ ] that's we can't more [ __ ] so all's I heard then was the Mexicans shout boo walk so all the little [ __ ] Mexicans and those soldiers are proving up so I shout boo or white boys Swede puto the blacks em the Native Americans stay out of it they just stay on the bed and we're about to have a [ __ ] war what about so have a [ __ ] fight it works out Adam and Caspar did the heads of the Mexican they go into the toilet bit of sauce without one on one so there ain't no like kicking off but it gets back obviously it gets about the the [ __ ] the cops come in in the [ __ ] a few people get dragged off I'm one of them Casper's one of him Adam was one of them and it gets back on the yard what's happened I'd I was in the hole for I think it was only an ER for like a day and the adult delet me Alex yeah she had no evidence there was because it wasn't in my locker at the time so they had no evidence there was mine so they let me out but under investigation which eventually did find how it was Ryan anyway but on this side Atticus the REC yard they could white guys again I don't think ask the [ __ ] L sneeze again they said what did them tell you not less than six [ __ ] month look are you stupid so I'll [ __ ] I'll start with insults I come and he she said we told you just don't get the youngsters [ __ ] they [ __ ] off the lads don't they said we've got you representing the pod fathers said we're taking that title from you right now because you basically [ __ ] up and not only that you're gonna cause a [ __ ] riot so sir all right fair enough I'm sure he gets [ __ ] it's all right really has I could have got a bit of time for meself they said don't get cheeky though LEP we could [ __ ] do you right now we could just [ __ ] get on you don't [ __ ] have you you could be sleeping and not wake up so just watch your step so I that's me so what do they look like these dudes like a be Aryan Bravard swastikas Skynyrd's big muscle dies of I mean just the average guy really a lot of them so they look like candles to be fair because you have two heads all shaved anyway and we've you been in the desert and the Sun Sun Sun yeah so light and they always go finish like movie guru me yeah so they're not like Chicanos anyway yeah so at first I thought [ __ ] you you [ __ ] the hair that you can almost read but it was it was the head is white Bush so when he said you can just [ __ ] go sleep not wake up how does that make you feel well I thought I might slow it all a bit like but [ __ ] definitely say what I see with me that's a definite so you're in if I'm going to [ __ ] one of the EDS ago with me that's under percent yeah so what was your next spot of trouble you got in that we think all right so in Steiner we've done the hooch don't get arrested it's done well at the time a bit later on it L went off anyway but it was the right started we were all on lockdown that was the riots with the Chicanos and New Mexicans no no before that it was they watch Carl at the oh we couldn't really gain trouble we weren't allowed alpha three [ __ ] weeks with the hostage situation on the hostage situation yeah yeah so there's the longest hostage crisis in US prison history happened in the complex where Wildman was housed on a different yard this was I think if you google this I think this was Molly was it mm and of more II think 2004 late 2003 because I was in the Madison Street jail maximum security and the whole jail system got locked down because the whole of the Arizona prison system was on high alert because of this hostage situation I think these guys were trying to escape and it failed so they kidnapped some staff members a female guard was raped I don't have a kitchen worker was raped and they demanded to be moved to out-of-state prisons and I think in the end because it went on for so long the Governor of Arizona did authorize him to be moved out of state prisons that's not before delivering pizzas ooh [ __ ] they were serving life anyway so it didn't really the extra time was irrelevant so there were other situations like that happened after that and they promised them they would move them but they just pop them in Supermax once they had [ __ ] yeah they told them that these guys actually got moved you see for doing it so this sort of got rewarded for being [ __ ] certain other people thought like you do it this doesn't work ice doesn't order room this shipped off then there's one she [ __ ] in SMU in place oh you're not you're not coming back oh you know so you're going through a lockdown cause of that yeah I'm going through a lot down because of that what's it like on lockdown in prison it's very monotonous very boring because I was fortunate to have a TV no you TV get certain channels and guess see you know you getting news and all that but they have to write so they black they could black any channels out they want and basically we got to watch we could watch late for him ABC and Knight Rider and stuff but anything news related or anything what was going on outside would it was a blackout who could it was that bad did he even go around for [ __ ] certain prisons and they put like big massive [ __ ] like sort of sheets all the way around the windows nor could look out and see what was going on you sat you suddenly bed the regno wreck the rate no [ __ ] all people are getting on one another's nerves real [ __ ] quick I can't [ __ ] do hooch because I can't get nothing from the kitchen even though the head saw me a [ __ ] I've got a lay off it for a while I thought I well this is a good time over me it's been [ __ ] a month or so now so basically you just a song you bet you reads on a [ __ ] boat and then they come and then they give you no you food but it's not the same food because normally you get a hot meal in Steiner and the food in prison itself is a hell of a lot better than it is in [ __ ] towers in it yeah prison food people sign plea bargains just to go to jail so they can have some fresher the swamp coolers [ __ ] not broken yeah the food slightly better get some recreation people are more settled there's not all the violence in the chaos they just sign plea bargains to move over to the prison system the athlete is Steiner alright it was like it was AC so just like look she leaned over in fact sometimes in the afternoon give me that cold you have to sit you [ __ ] blind kid oh no that was a hell of a lot better than sitting there 207 degrees outside yeah yeah so in Arizona Sonoran Desert in UK temperature scale we're talking almost 50 degrees in the summer and in the winter is a beautiful place to be because it's still hot but it's not too hot in the summer ah he uh canal in the jail infections bed sores he's just covered in that stuff because your skin sweating all the time it's itchy and it was very good for my asthma taxi fire see when I still say my inhale and now but what inhaler the last me about four months before I'd actually gone away I was going through right one inhaler like every two weeks but the try he is actually good for you why is it this medically worked out it's actually better for you so it did me a favor they were in the asthma but they kept don't [ __ ] it up a little used to bothered about me as much because it'll probably end up getting a [ __ ] night from me back anyways would be that's it so what was it like when when you got off lockdown well everyone's give the alley everyone's just like a peers was like [ __ ] so where to direct yard and [ __ ] the called me over they said alright you've been on profession for long enough keep on doing what you're doing we said but just we suggest that you give when you make hooch give the seller Giselle into the whites sell it a couple of bowls you're the racist so normally you can't do dealings with the races but if you don't a store if you don't can see that that's basically where you got a locker full of food you got soups or sausages and stuff like that and people are waiting to get their stuff put the listing you do two for one's or three four twos basically the get says three soups off here are two soups and off he only pay three but need you straight down a little book and at the end of it well obviously you're making as long as everyone pays you you making money so I started that I started restored stayed away from the hoochie lil bit and then I was also doing cards we were doing cards and lottery or stuff like that through Stargate on as a pot in general is forget you though for a while I was in that thousand in the same pod for three [ __ ] years so the racial harmony was coming together yeah of getting back back on track and it was just late and instead of one who did make hooch instead of selling it's who just our own race I sell a couple of balls to other races so just mainly I would never never give him I wouldn't give him for free but I'll give two heads of each race a couple of our [ __ ] years [ __ ] [ __ ] I'm not gonna be getting out see it's our day and it's our [ __ ] soon so I'm just gonna [ __ ] do what a [ __ ] dough [ __ ] or a red they can worry Billy rubella say it made the [ __ ] got a long time coming during that but they did in the end through the were you down boss yeah I mean against we routine and not every day every day there's a story really you know every day there's a fight all my every day those in fact the hell of a lot of time that's [ __ ] up these people trying to stay away from the fights as much as possible because when there's a fight baggy pants so they come out with like [ __ ] suck of oranges basically but you come and [ __ ] say even though I made so the goal youngsters getting all this stuff for me do a big massive patch the sides are getting [ __ ] drunk and I'm like what they're playing dominoes to play in bones and I could just see it was looking around and Adam you're the guy said oh [ __ ] you know I'm staying out in this on me I said I might even have a drink her that's um I had wall so he's like keep a slob read his bowel to kick off it's guaranteed to go off now so are years the N word comes out some young he took off me and there wasn't [ __ ] on the pod so what were some positive highlights then laughs when you keep on giving all the [ __ ] negative ones I was gonna concert the firestore in export a basically what you have to do is you that's a sort of well actually no sorry you got six weeks and with these dogs he that's a train them and you that's a mayor can make sure the dog or biting people give them proper good training and make sure that at the end of it a family or an old person could come and pick it off and the dogs got a home at the end of it now Aldi did that was basically we had this the dog charity and depicted service and it was a new scheme so eight of us did it they had a nice pod for US workers egg cells eight dog little dog kennels and a back door where we could open it well we come but the guy could come and play unlock it from the guardhouse and that's where the dogs would pee in that with after that on [ __ ] and we got Society oh and through the day these charity women had come and there teaches basic commands like sit stay and we 1988 since if it's like [ __ ] potty language anyway so we teach you so I'm getting sauce out the trained dogs finish [ __ ] I like actually keeping me out with trouble I was really happy about it and then I ended up getting myself in trouble okay one roommate sells me from the other side of the prison that the gun are all one of the heads are wrong and the [ __ ] the youngsters the torpedoes I want me to make some gloves and the Bally's for them so I've got the gloves and mask on so basically when the Roshi I'm doing min 12 quid for him so I thought nothing of it to be fairly and then the [ __ ] the alarms went I don't think it's about two days after give the gloves out thinking what the [ __ ] hell is going on everyone locked down everyone locked down so we had to go on lockdown and the best thing of where we was loving the dogs walls we have to say is no matter what time of night we just say the dog wants a pool or a piss so they'd open the door and we'd go out and have a faction so it was like [ __ ] and it was literally the early wasn't much bigger than this there should grass verge and we had someone keep it clear on who fenced it well fence the dogs weren't going anywhere so I'm thinking oh [ __ ] along the yard and then the moment of gas I said aw [ __ ] you know did comment on it now have a nice well said they've rolled the heads up over there and the [ __ ] do a proper investigation about it oh well whatever maybe they remain under me so when we [ __ ] search these young lads and get him one of them had got rid of the stuff because all nerds found these gloves well everyone around the prison ooh that was making gloves before you know it the come and get me in the middle of the [ __ ] night [ __ ] who take take me from the dog [ __ ] pen thing and probably straight in the [ __ ] hole and add me on investigation possibly street charges for inciting a riot so how did you get out a lot then well for the simple fact that fact I said I've made the cloth and I've made that the Bally but just because I've made and I didn't make use it for them to use like that yeah just a normal world yeah just a normal word basically so when we in the hole on this time I was in the hole three weeks on though and then what happened when you got back out was things back to normal or was it dead or did because it couldn't get my job back so what did this I need to do these put me in in to building to which was basically for the guys who have been everywhere else and couldn't fit in anywhere and we just like it was hard to even be a [ __ ] portal in the really yeah it was that bad so what did you do to pass this I mean now I've made more [ __ ] lawful streets of you know one of these we could do one of these I know an interview show you go ahead we love a shot look you know what is this now then I'm saved in Florence so oh now we got Nate no wall two SWAT team may 16 F so the o3 half of all for all five of six this would be all set this is this would be a bad probably a year before getting out okay so if I missed any of the stuff that you want into the know you've happen but I did one first they bear got out was excited that a fine I'm gonna go through immigration and I'm gonna be a [ __ ] immigration for [ __ ] ages and it was I was at a Phoenix immigration for free mph and then he sent me to Cali and then I was a Cali immigration of just over three and a half month and then finally these dogs tell you we need go in did you sell so you roll up before that though what was your very last day in Arizona Department of Corrections like well people hitting you up for your property and stuff yeah yeah yeah yeah you're not supposed to give anything away really you're not sponsor it's like 50 property mat either TV it being so coffee a few times what I mean that I want to say that I mean whenever you get tickets in prison the first thing we do is to take off things that [ __ ] we call it privileges you TV's a privilege going to canteens a privilege stuff like that's a privilege so they take it we're safe for 30 days and then you go and pick it up for thirsty there's or people wants to be TV and that but I didn't really want to give it away because you can actually get a street charge on it for there in the end the bookie that I'll let it go okay I just said that broke it you know Lorraine but they made me a big scram they may be a bit of a lord of food and the youngsters do put candy bars on me pillar you read first going there to show you a documentary to play a class yeah we're basically they say that you don't take any chocolate on any form of any gifts from anyone good tale thing that the you are one then so the this what the rapist goes on about I don't think in [ __ ] else's last seven years I'm not warned loving and being awful bad if I could chuckle apart from wife sold install sort of you know Lorraine so the
