End Times - Daniel UNSEALED! (2021 Great Tribulation)

hello my name is cj levick i believe the season of the return of christ is just around the corner in this video i will present you with evidence from the scripture that the long-awaited return of jesus may be coming sooner than you think in 2018 i produced a short movie and published it on youtube it is titled the bear sheet end times passover prophecy if you haven't watched the bearish eat end times passover prophecy video i would suggest you might want to watch it after viewing this video i believe it will help you more fully understand the prophetic times in which we are now living since the publication of the bereshit end times passover prophecy i have spent many hours exploring biblical timelines paying special attention to the day that jesus was crucified and the decree that went forth from artaxerxes longimanus in search of the year the decree that started the clock ticking on what we know as the 70th week of daniel began a time in numbers prophecy that is considered to be the most biblically prophetic end times prophecy in the entire bible if you have viewed the bereshit passover prophecy you know the one event that i believe is the centerpiece of all history it is of course the day that the son of god freely offered up his spotless sinless life as a blood sacrifice for the sin of all the world this cornerstone of all history includes the savior's death but also his burial resurrection from the grave and his ascension to heaven to present his blood sacrifice to his father in the heavenly temple these events are summarized by the apostle paul and presented to us as the foundation and essence of the good news and the only gospel that god ordained to be preached during the period of time in which we are now living a period of time that began after the resurrection of jesus and after the rejection of christ the messiah by the nation of israel we call this period of time the church age and just as surely as it had a beginning it will also have an ending you and i are now living in the most amazing period of grace ever afforded to mankind a time period is based on the good news which can be summarized fully by the finished work of jesus on the cross at calvary his bodily resurrection from the dead that satisfied the sin debt we each owed a sin debt that if left unpaid would result in a spiritual death sentence that would condemn us to be separated from god and imprisoned in a living hell of everlasting regret and hopelessness heaven is eternal but never forget so is hell is it any wonder that christians love jesus christ he did something for us we could never do for ourselves he saved us from the wrath of god and has promised to transform us in the twinkling of an eye to be changed in ways that will put us in perfect harmony with god the father never again to be put at odds with god's perfect righteousness living eternally as blessed and loved children of the most high that is the good news that includes what the bible calls the blessed hope the blessed hope is that jesus will keep his promise to those that love him a promise to come at exactly the right moment to snatch us off the earth and take us as a groom would take a bride to his father's house where he has prepared a place for us christians through the centuries have longed for prayed for joyfully hoped for jesus to come again just as he promised he would this period of expectancy has now lasted for almost 2 000 years and i believe based on biblical patterns and types that it is about to come to an end essential to understanding the days in which we now live begins with a search in the past for the most important date on the human calendar the date my lord willingly accomplished my salvation as he was nailed to a rude rough wooden cross shed his blood and died was buried for exactly three days and three nights rose from the dead and the following morning ascended into the heavenly jerusalem where he entered the holy of holies and presented his blood offering to his father as payment in full for all my sins and the sins of the world based on all the scriptural revelation about this event i have concluded that there is only one date that conforms perfectly with the literal biblical account of the crucifixion of jesus there is only one day on earth this could have happened there has been much debate over the years regarding the date of the death of jesus many hold these traditions very closely and all i would ask is that you temporarily lay aside all presuppositions and preconceived notions regarding the date of the crucifixion i have posted a video that harmonizes the various accounts of this event coupled with other scriptural evidence to support the date i'm proposing this can be viewed on my channel and it is titled the day jesus died i believe the crucifixion of christ happened on passover nissan 14 that took place on the roman calendar on wednesday april 28 28 a.d i believe that exactly 72 hours later after perfectly completing three days and three nights jesus rose from the grave on saturday just before sunset on may 1st 28 a.d i believe that jesus then ascended from earth to heaven on sunday morning may 2nd 28th a d at 9 a.m in order to fulfill the first fruits wave offering that was taking place outside of jerusalem at exactly the same time again i realize that some of you may believe i am mistaken as you have another crucifixion date in your mind perhaps one you are unwilling to abandon i understand your concern i do not offer the following evidence as proof positive but rather as a witness that the lord is now unsealing things at the end of this age just like he told the prophet daniel he would what you're about to learn has to my knowledge never been revealed before the publication of this video and to be clear i have searched the scriptures for clues to help piece this together not looking to outside scholarship but asking the lord for wisdom and guidance as you know israel became a nation in 1948. if you add 1948 years based on the julian gregorian calendar to the date may 2nd 28 a.d the sunday morning jesus ascended to the father you land on the date may 15 1976 did any earth-shaking prophetic event happen on may 15 1976 the answer is no but if you take the year 1948 and multiply it by 360 prophetic days you end up with 1948 prophetic years to be clear if you multiply 1948 by 360 prophetic days you end up with exactly 1948 prophetic years that total exactly 701 280 prophetic days calculating this based on the start date of sunday may 2nd 28 a.d the day jesus rose from the earth to heaven and adding 701 280 prophetic days you arrive at one of the most prophetically significant dates in all of human history do you recognize the date may 14 1948 this is the very day that ezekiel's son of man can these bones live prophecy and isaiah's can a nation be born in a day prophecy were fulfilled this is the exact day israel miraculously became a nation again nothing like this has ever happened in human history before so you have just witnessed the unsealing of a prophetic pattern mystery that has been hidden for thousands of years a numeric biblical prophecy that has remained hidden since 1948 and is now finally realized in late 2020 a prophecy that the lord has decided to unseal in order that you might know the exact date of his crucifixion and also proof that jesus is the soon coming king of israel daniel 12 4 tells us but thou o daniel shut up the words and seal the book even to the time of the end many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased words shut up and sealed are now being revealed as god allows knowledge of his prophecies to be understood and increased just at the time of the end a time of unsealing that he alone is administrating the church age is coming to an end as the kingdom age is about to unfold i believe the lord himself has unsealed the final key that unlocks the mystery season of his second coming it is my great honor and privilege to publish the prophetic key that unlocks the 70th week of daniel time lapse mystery for the very first time i believe this will be an encouragement to all those looking for the lord's soon return it is also clearly a warning to the lukewarm christian who have been sleepwalking with one foot firmly planted in the world to repent and begin to be watchful looking for the soon return of jesus as they were told to do by the lord himself this message may also fall on the ears of unbelievers who have never considered the claims and promises made by the lord jesus christ it may be the last offering made to anyone who has not received the free gift of salvation whoever you are the message you're about to hear is clear time is literally almost up you do not have years as the end of the age of grace may be just a few months away in the next section of this video we are going to examine the most amazing prophetic end times prophecy in the bible the prophecy of daniel's 70 weeks of years in case you missed it daniel's 70 weeks of years prophecy is a numeric biblical prophecy clearly god uses numbers to communicate his divine purposes to mankind and god expects us to seek in order to find what those numbers reveal so let's begin there is one series of numbers that god has chosen as the crowning number that is meant to alert man to the fact that something huge is in the works a number i can imagine that is circled in red on god's heavenly calendar it chronicles a period of time that's going to remind man that god is on the throne accomplishing his purposes and plans for the earth and in the lives of the men that dwell in it can you guess the number you might think it is the number seven as the weekly cycle announces with every revolution the final seventh day of rest that both ends the week and prophetically announces the final one thousand years of rest promised all mankind in general and the whole house of israel in particular which takes place after the six thousand years that encompass all of fallen man's failed attempts to recreate paradise on the earth or you might think that the number is nine nine is the number that represents the completion of all things nine is the one number that signals a new beginning or a new sequence of events there are after all only nine numbers in the world as zero is not a number but a placeholder nine is also the number that is biblically associated with judgment or if you're looking for a number that represents the completion of a cycle represented by a full circle there is only one number that comes to mind the number 360. let's take a quick look at these three numbers seven is a sacred number based on how it's used in scripture seven represents divine completion nine is not considered a sacred number but has clearly been identified as the number that represents the completion of a sequence of events that ends in evaluation which most often ends in judgment 360 represents a complete circle and is the one number god has identified as a prophetic number as it represents from his heavenly vantage point one prophetic year all three of these numbers are prominent in god's revelation to man and all of them are also prominent in the one series of numbers that is the most amazing number in the world the number i'm talking about can be discovered in the four numbers the scriptures identify as sacred numbers can you identify the four sacred numbers according to the bible three is the number of divine perfection seven is the number of divine completion ten the number of ordinal perfection and twelve is the number of governmental perfection so three times seven times ten times twelve equals two thousand five hundred and twenty twenty five twenty twenty five twenty according to how it is used in scripture is god's divine chronological clock it signals a divinely ordained period of time that overarches the numbers 7 9 and 360. we might call 2520 the number of the divine super cycle it is the one number that god displayed to belshauser who was the grandson of nebuchadnezzar and the king that witnessed the handwriting on the wall the handwriting that not only revealed the message that the head of gold gentile rulership over the earth had come to an end and that the 70 years of jewish captivity in babylon had come to an end but it also revealed god's signature number that announced the end of one age and the beginning of another the numeric prophecy god included as code as he wrote it with his own hand signifying that a divinely ordained sequence of events was about to unfold did the sequence of events come to an end thousands of years ago with some imagine or are you living in the final seconds of a prophetic countdown that is about to come to an end 2520 is the only number that can be divided by all the numbers 1 through 9 without leaving a remainder this is a mathematical wonder 2520 is the one number that god has ordained to reveal a sea change that is about to take place it is the number seven on steroids and so it should not come as a surprise that the number seven divine completion multiplied by 360 the number of days in god's one prophetic year equals two thousand five hundred and twenty days or weeks or years depending on what the number seven represents in daniel's prophecy the number seven the days in a week represent not days but years and so calculating 70 weeks is accomplished by multiplying the number of days in 70 weeks which is 7 times 70 equaling 490 days that are then multiplied by years a year for a day so 70 weeks represents 490 years and 69 weeks represents 483 years now here is where it gets really interesting the 70th week in daniel is separated out and it is the only week we are specifically told contains 2 520 days in other words in the 70th week of years prophecy the final seven years we are told contain exactly 2520 days seven years time 360 days equals 2520 days is this the prophetic key that unlocks the mystery period of time between the 69th and the 70th week in daniel a week that everyone who takes daniel's prophecy literally believes will begin the 2520 days of jacob's trouble that immediately precedes the second coming of jesus christ to set up a physical 1000 year kingdom on the earth it is my privilege to share with you one of the most amazing prophetic perspectives i have ever received on a personal note i am convinced that i was put on this earth in order to publish this prophetic insight as a final act of faith and confidence in the literal interpretation of the word of god so the real question before us is this does the following prophetic insight spring from the increase in knowledge and understanding that the lord tells daniel will be unsealed at the end of the age is it based on prayerful study and understanding of the scripture alone the answer is yes at the beginning of this video presentation i told you that i had spent a lot of time trying to identify the correct date that artaxerxes issued the decree that daniel forecast would begin the 70 weeks of years prophecy the date of the crucifixion of jesus in 28 a.d really is the key to all the timing and end time prophecies the 28 a.d crucifixion date removes the confusion regarding the only two possible decree dates only one decree date can be correct and the other cannot be correct because however you count the years it overshoots the crucifixion date by three years the only question that remains is what season in the year 457 bc did the decree go forth can we know the precise timing that started the clock ticking on daniel's 70 weeks of years prophecy the answer is no there is really no way of knowing for sure the exact day the decree went forth there are only really two possible answers to the question about the date in 457 bc that started daniel's 70 weeks of years clock ticking the decree either went forth in 457 bc that began with nissan which would have been in the spring of the year of the decree or it went forth in the fall of the year that begins with tishri after prayerful and careful study i believe the decree went out in the season that began with tishrei the start of a 90-day season that began on september 28th and ended on december 26 457 bc is this the season that started the clock ticking on the most important end times prophecy in the bible a numeric prophecy that we have been given in order that we might understand the plans god made on his divine chronological calendar now we've been told that god stopped the clock after the 69th week in daniel but is that true did god stop the clock or is there another prophetic pattern that more perfectly explains the nearly 2 000 years that have lapped since the messiah was revealed in the 69th week 483 years after the 457 bc prophetic clock started ticking we are told that the messiah was cut off after the 69th week messiah was crucified is this when god stopped the clock leaving the 70th week to be fulfilled at some unknowable time in the future or is god's divine chronological clock still ticking as it accompanies his eternal purposes that have been hidden and sealed waiting for the day when they would be unsealed in order to announce that the very season of his coming was both noble and imminent i can find no evidence no prophetic numeric pattern in all the scripture that demonstrates that god ever stopped the clock what i do find is lots of evidence and examples that god multiplied time and then added it to the clock just like he told israel he would when they failed and fill into unbelief adding time that was meant to discipline them so they would finally repent and return to him so while i cannot find a divine chronological clock that is stopped i can find many examples of the multiplication and addition of time to god's prophetic clock all these instances are directly connected to disobedience on the part of israel if you look into the biblical record you will find this pattern revealed over and over again god even warns israel that this is how he will treat them when they are disobedient and rebel against his good promises and plans you will find stark examples of this clearly declared in the books of leviticus numbers and ezekiel so let's ask another important question what happens on the exact day the final seven prophetic years in daniel's prophecy comes to an end the final seven years that we know as the time of jacob's trouble the time jesus said would be a time of tribulation unlike any other that had ever or ever will again come upon the earth so what happens after this completion of daniel's prophetic numeric prophecy the answer is agreed upon by all biblical literalists it is that christ is coming back to set up his literal 1000 year kingdom on this earth the next question is the most important question we will be asking in this video the right answer unlocks the time lapse mystery between the 69th and the 70th week once we know the answer to this question we can accurately forecast the season that begins the seven year tribulation and ends in the second coming of jesus christ the next question is where in the bible do we find the drama that prophetically and historically forecast the tribulation and the promise of entering into the messianic kingdom that is the hope of israel where do we see unfolded as a shadow type the coming kingdom age that daniel was forecasting where do we find an example that could have been interpreted except for the witness of scripture as a time god stopped the clock when in truth he multiplied and added time on the clock just like he promised he would whenever israel broke their covenant with the lord and went into rebellion and unbelief the answer is found in the book of numbers you probably know the story by heart israel was ready to enter the promised land twelve spies from each tribe were sent out to spy out the land after forty days they returned with what the lord calls an evil report this report revealed the unbelieving hearts of all but two of the spies and infected the whole house of israel with doubt that produce grumbling and unbridled unbelief what happened next did god stop the clock no the answer to what he did is recorded in numbers 14 34. there we read after the number of the days in which ye searched the land even forty days each day for a year shall ye bear your iniquities even forty years and ye shall know my breach of promise god clearly did not stop the clock no he did exactly what he promised he would do when israel fell into unbelief god multiplied and added time to the clock just like he promised he would and the blame was laid squarely on them on israel as god declared ye shall know my breach of promise in other words god is telling them that the promise to enter the promised land was breached by their unbelief and they would experience a discipline for that breach with each sorrowful day they spent in the wilderness instead of in the promised land god did not abandon israel he did not stop the clock god multiplied the time on the clock as he added years to his divine calendar in order that the time of repentance and renewal would come to pass at the exact moment on god's calendar in heaven can we see that calendar it has been hidden is it about to be revealed let's reflect for just a moment on a few of the parallels between the events that happened at the very moment israel received the evil report from the ten spies and began grumbling bitterly with murder in their hearts as they openly cried out for moses and aaron to be stoned to death complaining that it would have been better if they died in the wilderness rather than be slaughtered by the canaanites god's response was not only the breach of promise to enter the land but their outcry so angered him that he threatened to destroy the entire nation of israel now see if you can begin to identify the prophetic typology that points to the breach of promise that occurred when god sent his son the messiah of israel to announce that the kingdom was at hand now let's go back to moses for a moment returning to the evil report that provoked god's wrath who is it that interceded for israel the answer is that moses was a type of christ interceded and was granted his plea that israel be spared notice that from the cross of calvary jesus also pleaded for israel this is recorded in the gospel of luke chapter 23 34 a then said jesus father forgive them for they know not what they do god told moses that while they had been forgiven they would be disciplined for their iniquity and unbelief what was the discipline they would not enter the promised land now consider the question recorded in numbers 14 11 where the lord asks moses how long will this people spurn me and how long will they not believe in me despite all the signs which i have performed in their midst now listen to what jesus said after turning the water to wine casting out demons healing the lepers raising the dead calming the storm healing the demoniacs curing the paralytic opening the eyes of the blind loosening the tongue of the man that could not speak restoring the withered hand feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes healing the death and causing the fig tree to wither and restoring the ear of the high priest servant that had come to arrest him and many many more after all this israel is still seeking a sign they came to jesus demanded that he show them a sign listen to the response of jesus as recorded in matthew 16 4 a wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign and there shall no sign be given unto it but the sign of the prophet jonas and he left them and departed now notice the curse that god placed on israel when they grumbled and complained in unbelief they would be cursed with the fulfillment of their own words in numbers 14 2 we read and all the children of israel murmured against moses and against aaron and the whole congregation said unto them would god that we had died in the land of egypt or would god we had died in this wilderness in numbers 14 28 god says unto them as truly as i live saith the lord as ye have spoken in mine ears so will i do to you your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness and all that were numbered of you according to your whole number from 20 years old and upward which have murmured against me now let's fast forward to the curse that israel put into motion when they called for the crucifixion of christ in matthew 27 24-25 when pilate saw that he could prevail nothing but that rather a tumult was made he took water and washed his hands before the multitude saying i am innocent of the blood of this just person see to it then answered all the people and said his blood be on us and on our children israel was told that the kingdom was at hand and their response was to kill the king in unbelief they rejected their king and what was their punishment could it be exactly the same as it was when their fears betrayed their lack of faith and the sure promises of god that resulted in 40 years of wilderness wandering when god multiplied a year for a day now let's make the application to daniel's prophetic number prophecy of 70 weeks of years daniel's 70 weeks of years prophecy is based on a year for a day each of the 69 weeks with 7 days was multiplied to a year for a day with each week representing seven years the last week the seventh week is specifically identified as a week of prophetic years that were exactly 360 days in length are you picking up the clues how many days were there in the final 70th week of daniel the answer is that there were exactly 2520 days in other words 360 days times 7 which equals 2520 days why did the 17th week not follow the 69th week of years consecutively without an interruption the answer is unbelief exactly the same reason that israel did not enter the land after it was spied out for 40 days that was multiplied a year for a day how many days are left on daniel's 70 weeks of years prophecy there are exactly 2520 days left to be fulfilled do you see the prophetic pattern we obviously have a large unexplained period of time between the 69th and the 70th week of daniel would you really be surprised if the remaining 2520 days that were left unfulfilled had been multiplied into 2520 years and a new countdown began that included all the days that had passed since the degree went out from artaxerxes in 457 bc pattern is prophecy and we have the type that fits entering into the promised land and the pattern that once applied gives us a missing key the amount of time that is left before this prophecy is fulfilled this prophetic perspective is in perfect harmony with the very shadow type that historically preceded it and so we are not guessing we are simply applying a past principle to a current event one that has been going on for over 2400 years since it began in 457 bc if the lord did not stop the clock but rather multiplied and added time to the clock exactly as forecast in the biblical record then when might we expect what is commonly known as the 70th week of daniel to come to its conclusion the answer is not difficult to calculate twenty five hundred and twenty days that are multiplied to twenty five hundred and twenty years that are three hundred and sixty days in length can be easily calculated by simply multiplying two thousand 2520 days by 360 days that gives us the number we're looking for the number that is the key to marking out the season when this prophecy comes to an end 2520 times 360 equals 907 200 days it is no coincidence that when you do the multiplication of daniel's 70 weeks of years it becomes 360 weeks of years a number that is consistent with god's divine chronological clock now i need to make something perfectly clear when i say god multiplied and added time to his divine chronological calendar you need to understand what that means biblically we discovered the answer in the 40 days that were turned into 40 years in the wilderness did israel spend 40 years in the wilderness yes they spent exactly 40 years in the wilderness as god ordained his words to go forth with precision the question is when did those 40 years begin the answer is that they began with the wandering in the wilderness that began several years before they reached the border of the promised land and were prevented from entry based on the 40 days for 40 years prophecy caused by their unbelief in other words god started the 40 years prophecy based on the moment they entered the wilderness which is why the biblical account reveals that from the time god breached the promise to the time they entered the promised land was not 40 years but only 38 years the two years they had already been in the wilderness was included in the 40 years and so we have a pattern that answers the question as to when the multiplication and addition of time was to begin in daniel's prophecy the answer is that it begins at the beginning when the prophecy was first set in motion by the decree of artaxerxes in 457 bc god did not add time to the existing prophetic clock he multiplied an at a time that included all the time that had already been spent in the case of daniel's prophecy this is simply accomplished by starting the prophecy over again using the same date as an allowance is made for all the time that has been spent since god multiplied and added time to the prophecy as a consequence of the breach of promise that took place when israel rejected their anointed prophet priest and king i have picked september 28th as a start date for the 457 decree this is the first day of the fall season in 457 and it is also the tenth of tishri in 457 obviously this is an arbitrary choice that is not meant to pinpoint a day but rather a season so we begin our countdown on the 10th of tishree the first day of the fall season in 457 bc the countdown of 907 200 days would take us to the end of daniel's prophecy that's been multiplied with added time in exactly the same way we see demonstrated based on the biblical prototype and pattern revealed to us in the book of numbers and what season does it forecast the answer is that based on the start date of september 28th 457 bc and adding 907 hundred days we land on july twenty second twenty twenty eight to be clear we are not predicting the day jesus returns but only the season the season in view is in the late early fall season of 2028 this is the season you can expect the lord will come with the hosts of heaven to set up his kingdom on the earth in jerusalem it is the day that god keeps his long-awaited promise to israel it is the season of the second coming of the messiah yeshua hamashiach the person that the gentile nations know as jesus the christ the second coming of yeshua jesus happens in a day when everyone sees his coming it is not however a one day event the second coming of christ ends after the 25 20 days of tribulation but lasts according to daniel 12 7 for another 75 days and it is only after the destruction of the enemies of believing israel and the sheep and goat judgment that the 1000 year reign of christ actually begins i mention this because there is plenty of time for yeshua to fulfill the fall feasts before he enters into his kingdom many have speculated that the feast of tabernacles for example will literally and not figuratively be fulfilled in the kingdom as you might expect since his coming is no longer a prophetic harbinger but an actual literal event so please don't dismiss this based on the july date as it could be just fine or it could be just as easily august or september based on the fall start date in 457 bc this is about a season not about a particular day and since i do not know the day the 457 decree went forth we are left only with the knowledge that it is probably pointing to the late summer or fall of 2028 what happens before yeshua comes to set up his kingdom in jerusalem most of us know before jesus comes to set up his kingdom you can expect that there will be seven years of tribulation that lasts exactly twenty five hundred and twenty days to begin and precede his second coming you can expect that to happen in the fall of 2021 will the great tribulation begin on august 28th 2021 not very likely as this date simply alerts us to the fact that the day of the lord will begin sometime in the fall of 2021 at the latest keep in mind however that if the decree from artaxerxes went forth in nissan and not tishri in other words the spring of 457 then the tribulation could happen in the early summer season of 2021 so to be clear the seven year tribulation could happen any time in 2021 but will most likely happen in the fall season of 2021. christians who take the bible literally are not rejoicing over the fact that the great tribulation is about to begin in fact it saddens us beyond words as it causes many of us to weep and pray for our unbelieving friends and for israel as we consider with trembling that great and terrible day of the lord we understand that it cannot be postponed or taken off god's calendar we do realize and rejoice in its purpose as the tribulation will result in the salvation of israel who will finally repent of their rejection of their messiah yeshua daniel's prophecy was not a prophecy for the church it is a prophecy for israel and a warning to the unbelieving world that has rejected god with billions of overflowing hearts that are full of iniquity that the lord as in the days of noah can endure no longer why is this prophecy this 25 20 daniels 70 weeks prophecy important to christians the answer is simple we are promised that we will be delivered from the day of vengeance that is like no other so as we see that day approaching we are looking up expecting the promise that we will be snatched away in the blink of an eye to happen at any moment when is the lord coming to rescue his church i do not know the day or the hour but i know what will happen before the start of the tribulation and from all appearances that is going to happen very soon now you might be wondering why the lord will allow for the unsealing of this prophetic pattern just months before it's about to manifest the answer seems pretty obvious the pattern was hidden in order that god's people would remain vigilant and watchful as he could come at any time now that his coming appears to be literally only months away he is graciously allowing his plan to be known in order to wake up those that are sleeping so that they might wake up and become watchful and expectant waiting for their lord to come now there is another reason israel who is in unbelief will soon have their eyes opened and perhaps even this testimony the testimony of this video will be preserved in order to encourage them to cast off all their doubts and prejudice and embrace the only truth that will result in eternal life that truth is that yeshua hamashiach was and is their messiah who loves them with an everlasting love and only requires them to do one thing trust fully and completely in him once that is done anything can be endured for the moment with eternity and everlasting life in view i leave and when we as joy starved people experience the emptiness of our brokenness we always seek to find our own solutions to that emptiness we try and find our own means for getting away from the brokenness of our life it might be the root relationship or social status or money or success it might be alcohol or drugs or even one of the many forms of what the bible calls false religion and yet all of those attempts to escape that we devise as our own solutions to our brokenness never ever work instead they always eventually end up casting us right back into ever deepening experiences of imprisonment within our brokenness but this was never the way god intended for our lives to be lived it was not his plan for our life to be one that is filled with brokenness emptiness and pain god's plan has always been the perfect design for our lives it is the one that meets every need that we have he is our holy creator and he created us in his image to enjoy his love in a dependent fulfilling joyful and unbroken relationship with him the insanity of humanity is that every one of us has run away from god's perfect plan the bible's word for this is sin our original parents adam and eve rebelled against god and brought sin into the world and as descendants of adam and eve we have all participated in this sin as a result god can now rightfully judge us by bringing his holy wrath against us against us as sinners and condemn us to separation from him forever the bible gives a name to this radical and eternal separation from god it is the word hell the bible says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god it also says that the wages of sin is death but god didn't leave us to try and resolve this tragedy through our own efforts knowing that in our weakness we could never do so instead he provided us with a door out of our sinful trap he sent his very own son the son of god to enter into the world supernaturally as a baby born to a young virgin named mary two thousand years ago his name was jesus and he was god and man together jesus lived the perfect life that we could not live for over 30 years here on earth this was the only way to deal with the overwhelming problem of the brokenness of humanity jesus said truly truly i say unto you i am the door i am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me but jesus did not come to this earth only to live he also came to die he died the death that we as broken sinners deserve to die he lay dead in that tomb for three days and then he was resurrected by the power of the spirit of god proving that his sacrifice had been acceptable to god the father this is incredible it is life transforming but it demands a response from us our response to this good news must now be that of repentance and faith repentance is turning from our sin all those ways of rebelliously turning away from a loving dependence upon our god we must turn from all of that and then turn to trust trust in all that jesus did on behalf of sinful and broken people the result of doing so is restoration to a new life with full forgiveness restored to grow this is now the time to respond this is the good news this is the gospel repent and believe looking unto jesus the author and finisher of our faith there is no work you can do to earn god's favor or forgiveness jesus when asked about that said that there was one work that man could do that was really not a work at all what work did jesus say would change your destiny from an eternal hell to an everlasting heaven listen to what jesus said as recorded by john the fisherman and disciple of jesus and then simply do the one work jesus commanded you to do listen then they asked jesus what shall we do that we might work the works of god jesus answered them this is the work of god that you believe in him whom he has sent this is something you can do right now the one work that is really no work at all you can change your eternal destination from eternal hell to everlasting heaven it can happen in a single moment by simply putting your faith and trust in the crucified and risen lord jesus who came to earth as a man to die for sinners so that you might join him in heaven forever what you have now come to understand about this most important journey of your life must not be delayed the time is now jesus has already done everything necessary to save you from your sin and brokenness but now you must respond with your own turning and trusting your own repentance and faith if you have any questions about the gospel This is an excellent study that I almost missed out on because I thought the title was a little sensational and I've seen so many bad studies on Daniel's 70 weeks. This is the first time that I've seen the gap from week 69 to 70 explained by comparing it to the extension of Israel's journey in the wilderness. As most of you know Israel was initially told they would enter the promised land after 40 days, but after the scouts brought the evil report God punished them for their unbelief and extended their journey to 40 years. One year for each day of the original time frame.
