Emirates Airline FOOD REVIEW - Bangkok to Dubai to Munich | Layover at Dubai International Airport

hey everyone its mark Wiens right now I'm in Bangkok but tonight I'm flying with Emirates from Bangkok to Dubai and then Dubai to Munich Germany so I'm gonna do a full review of the flight I'm gonna share with you the flight and especially show you the food and we're leaving in about an hour from now so I will see you on the plane [Music] got all checked into the flight and we're boarding in about 30 minutes and I flew Emirates one time many many years ago I think it was back in like 2009 I think 2009 so it's been a long time but Emirates is an airline that always gets very very high very good ratings and this plane is huge an 8-3 you might be an a380 but there's there's like zones A through F and all different ramps to get to the doors Oh Victor here okay oh right here 52 a and B yeah this is a monstrous airplane it's an a380 but we got great seats thanks to mica leg space right here in the front of the downstairs but the upstairs oh I'd love to see upstairs upstairs covers the entire plane as well we got the headphones we've got the Emirates blanket the pillow and then the TV let's see if we can see the TV pullout oh and the TV just pops out here oh that GPS oh that's like a that's like an iPad style TV all and stick they also give you some stickers that you can put on top of your seat to do not disturb or wake me up well thank you for food Oh or wake me up for duty-free I'm gonna I'm gonna try to stay awake and we're flying right out we're leaving at 9:30 so we I think our first meal will be dinner on this flight and we're getting ready to take off soon but they just handed us a menu dinner full appetizer of smoked duck main course is either chicken with orange pepper glaze or seafood they got Tony [Music] we have chicken and potato pie Scott across and they had a choice between a seafood pasta which is what Yein got and I got the chicken with potatoes oh that looks pretty awesome and then also oh yeah remember on the menu they had the smoked duck I think this is the supposed to dunk over here salad and then there's also a dessert and roll okay I'm going to start with that piece of smoked duck in that salad a bunch of carrots down here and some kind of yellow thing that is definitely a one butter oh well I just want a whole plate of that though there's definitely it's like tastes like ham but duck this is probably a chunk of chicken that you should use a knife and cut up but I'm I'm one-handed so I'm just gonna I'm just gonna bite this [Music] it's kind of like a braised chicken kind of like a brown gravy sauce pretty good and those are those are peppercorns but they're very very mild [Music] pretty good actually a little bit more of that salad [Music] all right next up for some potatoes carrots canned corn all in a a single skewer but all the potato Bella [Music] moved on to dessert [Music] that's really moist though and has like a thick layer of like real chocolate on top the dinner was actually pretty good the chicken it didn't really taste that like airplane food II you know that kind of like artificial airplane food taste kind of tasted like fresh food this is the bathroom by the way [Music] [Music] thank you welcome to Dubai that was about a six-hour flight and right now in Dubai it's about 1 a.m. because for I am back in Bangkok so I'm a little bit sleepy we're catching our next flight to Munich we have a three hour layover so in the meantime I'll try to give you guys a short tour of the airport in Dubai [Music] there's a lot of duty-free shopping at Dubai Airport you could win that car it's past 1:00 a.m. in Dubai and the airport is just packed the restaurants are full coffee coffee shops are packed yeah there's a lot of people sleeping and sitting around it's packed at 1:00 a.m. though a lot of people just camp out on the on the ground and take a nap but they could use more seating at the Dubai Airport three hour layover is over and we are boarding now on our way to Munich Germany my god thirty-eight gee [Music] we've been in the air for about an hour now but I fell asleep before we even took off I just passed out I was so tired and I'm gonna go back to sleep now and then I think they're gonna serve us breakfast sometime soon [Music] I fell back asleep again but luckily I put the sticker up here so she woke me up for breakfast it's time for breakfast now and they had a choice between omelette and scrambled eggs I got the omelette okay I'll taste that omelet with a little bit of that's that vegetable looks almost kind of cheesy it's a little cheesy and yeah that does kind of have that slightly rubbery omelet taste to it and then we've got the little one biter one biter sausages here there's some turbulence right now reason to go seats materials in building security Boston thank you okay thank you josef strauß therefore where the local time is 8:45 and the temperature is 14 degrees of you but I thank you hey welcome to Germany this is my first time and I am excited to be here overall that was a good series of flights emirates emirates the the service the flex it was okay not not amazing service but the planes are really nice the food was okay but overall
